  1. Are you playing version 7? Iirc there has been some changes to his team from version 6, so I'm not sure if everything I say still holds true or not. Since there's the rain, Fire-type moves are weakened. Some Water-type moves aren't affected by the field effect (mainly the ones that hit one target only), so you can try using that to your advantage. Which Pokemon outspeed yours? I can see Scolipede doing that, or Crustle after Shell Smash. Perhaps some Steel - or Poison- types could be of some use? Unless it was moved, you could try finding Zubat in a cave at the back of the forest near route 3 (west of Sheridan). Mawile, which is obtained from Augustus the ship captain, can hurt Crustle with Iron Head.
  2. As mentioned above, Poison -types - especially Trubbish - are good against her. You can try raising some Bug-types like Dustox as well. Trubbish can set up Toxic Spikes (poisons each non opponents Poison/Steel -type upon entering) and Dustox learns Venoshock, a move that deals massive damage to poisoned opponents. Hariyama (Makuhita evolves at level 24) is worth considering too. It's helpful against her Cradily.
  3. As for me: Hardest Leader: Angie and Narcissa, picked Angie Hardest Rival: Melia Hardest Xen Boss: Geara & Zetta double battle Hardest Boss Pokemon: The Whale
  4. Garchomp and Gliscor aren't available yet. You have to get quite far in the game before you can catch Gligar, so you're better off training other mons and when Gliscor and Garchomp finally become available, just rotate them. For early game Ground-types (you most likely will replace at least some of them later on), sandy cloak Wormadam, Donphan and Onix (eventually Steelix if you use your Metal Coat) might be worth a shot.
  5. You could go just Mono ground? If you insist on having a second type, you may want something that doesn't share (many) weaknesses with Ground.
  6. There are lots of good Ground-types available. Diggersby, especially with Huge Power ability, deals massive damage. Nidoking has a versatile movepool, Krookodile packs a punch with high Atk stat and Moxie. Mamoswine isn't bad, either.
  7. No problem. Honestly, Angie is one of the leaders (Narcissa being the second) I struggled against the most.
  8. If you have Heart Scales, visit the move re-learner in Sheridan Village (second house on the right side of the lake). She can teach your Vivillon Bug Buzz. According to the TM Guide, Sludge Bomb should be obtainable http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=17190
  9. Fire-type moves that hit more than one target (Heat Wave and Lava Plume for example) change the field, so try using those. You could raise Simisear - Pansear is found in Carotos Cave) or Chandelure (a rather difficult event). Torkoal can be used as well, but it's slow so it's going to take hits. I imagine Marowak and Altaria get obliterated by Angie's team, so they aren't much of use there. What ability does your Mawile have? You can lead with Mawile, if it has Intimidate then Weavile will be even less threatening. Mawile learns Iron Head and Play Rough, both of which are super effective against Weavile. Of course, if you don't mind using lots of potions, you could just Stockpile + Baton Pass, but there are better alternatives out there. Another option is to use Fighting-types. Hariyama can have the ability Thick Fat, which reduces the damage it takes from Ice-type moves. Pangoro is stronger, but can't take hits. IIRC you can find Makuhita in Sheridan Village. Pancham is obtained during a Help Request in Sheridan.
  10. This is the wrong board and wrong topic. Anyway, you can find them at night only.
  11. Did you meet Aelita yet? She's supposed to be in front of the gym in Teila Town (the town where Tesla's Villa is).
  12. Least favorite: anything involving Karen. She seems to have become Rejuvenations Terra (Reborn), and I don't like Terra. Favorite: anything involving Team Anti-Assist. I laughed out loud irl when I had to battle Lonk and Pech.
  13. Are you in Ametrine City? Like already mentioned above, talk to every single resident, then head to the abandoned house with a Pulse machine in there (it's near the skating ring). A cutscene should be triggered when you enter the house.
  14. I think the first game I ever played was Super Mario back on NES, but I'd say it's either The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time or Pokemon Red that sparked my interest in video games.
  15. Is there a guide or something for Poliwag locations? I need to find one more, but can't figure out where it could be.
  16. So if I understood correctly this game is Reborn with increased difficulty and some additions? Good, I was looking for something to play (and rage at).
  17. 10/10 because it's Honchkrow. Honchkrow is love, Honchkrow is life.
  18. Here is the team I use in my first save file. I raised a couple of new Pokemon for the upcoming gyms. Electrode and Tyrantrum are shiny.
  19. I did beat them on my first try, Connor cloned himself right before the battle. I / my character was facing one of the guards, next to me was one Connor looking straight at me and next to this Connor was the second Connor facing the other guard. Funny thing is, this never happened in my second save file. I think I downloaded version 2.1. I downloaded the version featured in the opening post.
  20. If we are to believe the opening post, neither Gible nor any of it's evolutions are available yet. If you were looking for one, you're out of luck.
  21. I use 7-zip. I haven't used WipZip so I can't say for sure what's the difference, but I've never had any problems on my end.
  22. I downloaded this game yesterday, I think, and I already played it through (at least what's available for now). I like how there are little secrets and surprises here and there, as well as some crucial Pokemon are obtainable right before the gym leader. Now I just have to go back and solve the Bidoof puzzle. Is there a way to make Connor stop following you? He kinda double team'd in the cave (after the password) so basically there's one Connor doing whatever he does and another one constantly following me.
