  1. I completely forgot about Pickup. I do have a Phanpy with that ability, so I don't need to go back and catch/train Zigzagoon. Thanks for the advice.
  2. Caz, do you plan to add Sun and Moon Stones in next Episode? I would like to buy Helioptile, but knowing that I have to find Solrocks (they're rare) who are holding a Sun Stone (which is not often) means that I'd have to spend a looot of time looking for one item. You could add them in order to celebrate Sun & Moons release, right?
  3. Are there some particular Pokemon in Ericks's team that give you trouble? I'd say lead with Grass-type, iirc his Rotom doesn't have super-effective moves against Grass. You should save Camerupt for later, after his Ampharos has been dealt with - since it's a Mega, it gains Fairy, Dragon and Ice weaknesses. You can obtain either Tyrantrum or Aurorus from the Museum in West Gearen. Light Screen is a good move to use there, since most Electric-types tend to be special attack-oriented. Aurorus happens to learn Light Screen.
  4. Then, by the looks of it, you have discovered a bug. It's mentioned in the Bugs- list that this part of the game can in fact break. I don't know if Caz fixed this issue in 3.0.1., but 3.0.2., which is another bugfix patch, is on it's way and should release soon afaik.
  5. That's odd. I've never had this issue myself. Did you do missions after talking to her at the gym, but before trying to go to her house?
  6. You can't go in the gym yet, because the gym is locked. What you have to do is talk to the person in front of the gym, then in her home.
  7. Good to know. I first decided to wait for 3.1 before starting my third playthrough, but now it seems I don't have to worry about big changes coming soon and messing up my coming playthrough (and perhaps the one after that). I could wait for 3.0.2, but only a couple of bugs bother me a little and even then some of those are fixed already.
  8. You have to talk to the moving ones on the left side of the room, starting from top to bottom. Memorize their locations, where they are when you enter the room.
  9. Now that is a good question, since the download link for Version 2 is nowhere to be found... Edit: Actually, it's on page 15. Edit 2: So much for that, then.
  10. I managed to get 1923 elo in Random Battles, so...go, me!

    1. Garnet.

      Garnet.

proud of you for making it that far on the random ladder,

      but why

I like random battles. You never fight the same team / strategy twice in the row - or at least the chances for that to happen are slim. There are also no "core" Pokemon there: I mean, so many Psychic-mono teams use Mew, Hoopa-U etc. so it can get repetitive. Random is in my opinion less repetitive in that sense as well.

  11. Are you playing Version 3.0.1.? If you are and this cutscene is still buggy, you have no choice but to go back to Version 2, get through that scene and then return to Version 3.
  12. If the wild Roggenrola (50% chance) or Geodude (5%) can still hold them, yes there are Everstones. They're not handed to you, though.
  13. You can find Bidoof in Keneph Jungle caves.
  14. What are you even looking for? Since the comment you quoted is quite old, I had to do some research - I found out that was Caz's reply to a person hoping there will be a hairdresser's place in Desolation. So if I understand correctly, you're looking for the hairdresser. She can be found in Route 1.
  15. To answer your last question: I purposefully avoid using Excadrill, as it seems, in my opinion, too powerful to be obtained this early in the game. You don't even have to use Exca's move slot for Sandstorm, since Flygon, Krookodile and Gigalith, for example, learn it too. However, the combination of Swords Dance and Sand Rush make Exca a killing machine of sorts on it's own. I have to agree with you.
  16. You have to keep walking in circles as new paths open up so you can move deeper in the forest to walk in circles. Eventually the entrance to Spinel Town is revealed.
  17. Oh ok XD. I thought it was intentional, since Scolipede makes a great Baton Passer, especially with Speed Boost. Speaking of bugs...
  18. What I noticed is that in this game ability capsule doesn't rotate to the next ability like in Reborn. Instead, it randomly chooses between the two alternative abilities (assuming the Pokemon has 3 different abilities altogether). As for your Scolipede, I assume Caz wanted to keep Quick Feet on Scolipede instead of giving it Speed Boost, for balance reasons if I had to guess.
  19. TFW you are tired despite sleeping 10 hours a day.
  20. By the way, Caz, do you create the story/plot for each episode from scratch or have you planned everything (or most of it) already?
