    I don't know if a strategy relying on not getting critted/ minimal damage rolls is OP. Likewise, I don't find X items game-breaking in any shape or form. They just allow every mon to set up and just like setting up with moves like Dragon Dance etc., timing is important. Assuming you have enough money, you can buy Revives, Ultra Potions etc. to your heart's content and win battles by using said items. Does that make Revives or Ultra Potions broken or overpowered too? Not in my opinion.

    Haunter doesn't need Reaper Cloth to evolve, but if the Reaper Cloth was really lost when Haunter evolved to Gengar, then that's an issue. When it comes to King's Rock, I'm pretty sure it's supposed to do that.

    I think you skipped some crucial cutscenes by going straight to Valor Mountain instead of talking to Venam and co.

    Why something else than Dusclops was even holding the Reaper Cloth? From what I understand, you're supposed to lose it as well as any other evolution item like Magmarizer or Protector once your mon has evolved.

    It's worth noting that the locations for mirages are always the same: there's 4 spots it can appear in. However, only 1 mirage can be found at a time. Edit: Here's a shameless plug more detailed answer to how to reach the Mirage Tower. As another side note, you need to find the 3 mirages in a row. You can't find one, then leave and then find the other two.

    @Jess That's odd, maybe I failed to understand the Pokedex. Even so, congrats for beating Connor. In my opinion he, along with Tristan, are the toughest Gym Leaders in the game (so far).

    @Jess You can find Spinarak in Keneph Cave, whereas Wurmple should be in the Jungle.

    @JessFor what it's worth, iirc both Wurmple and Spinarak are obtainable, meaning you can get Dustox/Beautifly and - by overleveling a bit - Ariados. I've only done Ground monotype run and I picked Ground simply because of good availability right from the get-go and because Connor is a douche

    I'd say the Audino trainer in the Nightmare zone/whatever is your best bet, if you still have your Medallion.
