  1. Ever wonder why fossil mons never got second stage evolutions?

Maybe fossils being fossils are just primitive mons that never could evolve fast enough to survive whatever killed them. Hence, they are not capable of a natural third stage evolution.

I like that train of thought, Viri.

    4. Maelstrom

      Maelstrom

I'm pretty sure Viri is correct.

  2. Congratulation on 3000 posts, Alexus, here's to more thousands to come in the future!

  4. Hi pbood, have been seeing you around, nice to meet you, hope to see you around for more
  5. Humanity is humanity, it is still gonna botch up Mars or wherever human race has ever come into contact with, the latter bunch would probably be disappointed for what they are expecting, look just how we treated supposed outsiders like we did in movies, we demonized and fought aliens on the presumption that aliens automatically are hostile in nature. Assuming peaceful or diplomatic alien sentient species is actually out there, they wouldnt even want to visit Earth seeing how vile human nature is. Humans are intrinsically xenophobic, just look at our track record of history. I probably have gone off trail from the topic but eh just how much i loathe mankind... P.S. I like this thread btw, good job with the thread Viri
  6. Happy birthday, Mik, you are a wonderful person, have a great one my friend \o/

Leaf bowtie is awesome I agree.

      But popplio goes BWARK!

Also Grass Flying is kinda terrible as a defensive typing :/

Let's hope Rowlet becomes a badass Eurasian Eagle Owl with Close Combat and Gale Wings, eh?

  10. Rowlet is regional bird and grass starter merged into one, good stuff

  11. Would you watch series finale knowingly the show is going to have a bad ending?

I watched Bebop knowing what happens with the main, and I still was surprised. So, probs yes.

    4. Shamitako

      Shamitako

Of course, it would be silly to invest time in a series just to nope out at the end

  12. Kudos for using Lunatone, although Trick Room might be odd for Lunatone if you plan for it to be a support, as your team mainly consists of fast mons sans Graveler, and Lunatone's base speed of 70 is not sufficient enough to use Trick Room to full extent, maybe switch TR out for Rock Polish(i dont know if it is available), Cosmic Power for bulky set(Calm Mind is actually better idea but newer episode CM got removed ) or Light Screen for team support, can i know the nature and evs and ivs of your mons as well to gain better insight and formulate best adjustment for your team?
  13. Hi Mr Fish, welcome to Reborn, hop onto Reborn server for some casual chat and occasional tourney and battle, have fun in Reborn and see you around friend
  14. I am also from an outsider perspective here, but i don't know what will i stand in gun control law because we don't ever have a period when there is no gun control since independence for me to have experienced the other side of arguement, my country has strict gun law and weirdly enough it was pushed by the party leaning towards what would Americans otherwise calls conservative in other issues(they marginalize LGBT, overwhelmingly pro-life etc) Per NickCrash said, it's not always about political leanings rather the matters at hand itself. My apology in advance if this post came out sounding weird because obviously Asian countries have different circumstances than Europe and America.
  15. I was going to say Rock is my least favourite sorry, but then i remember Aerodactyl and Kabutops being baes

      Another Felix

Psychic is my favorite type, but Unown is the literal worst pokemon ever.

  16. Alice can you take another order? If it is possible, I would like a signature with Kuroo Tetsurou without quote, thanks in advance
  17. I haven't used Eeveelutions in any of my runs but I would say Espeon will be great for Rejuv, Magic Bounce can prevent gym leaders from setting up hazards, Vaporeon has a hard time early on but will be valuable asset to major bosses because of its tankiness, so as Umbreon(not using it often to judge), Jolteon is also good because of it outspeeding gym leaders and important NPC fights with single weakness. Flareon and Leofeon are in odd places as they are mainly physical yet their typings are more towards special set, but as i said i havent used any of them well enough to judge either. Sylveon is good especially for special type like Narcissa and Valerie for special wall, it also learns light screen naturally by leveling up, it fills quite nicely in niche of team support. Glaceon will have rough time because of its speed and ice typing isn't best in dealing with current updated gym leader roaster. My order by usefulness: Sylveon > Espeon > Jolteon=Vaporeon=Umbreon >Flareon=Leofeon > Glaceon P.S. They all have different niche in a team so the order is relatively speaking, for example if you manage a speed boost-baton pass for Glaceon, it will still succeed as a major special sweeper.

  19. I don't like the fact that every single seasons/series(depending on what you call serialized anime in respect of regional differences) of pokemon, there have to be one or two pre-evos that never evolve throughout entire series because they are cutesy cute that way(If they think target demography is for the kids, anime company clearly doesnt know what kids are up to these days, they dont necessarily like cutesy stuffs rather cool looking badass designs), XYZ/DPPlat animes have things done right in this regards is that Ash teams on those two campaigns are almost consisted of fully evolved powerful mons and the campaigns are almost successful if it isnt for the sake of anime continuance BS letting Ash lost to some random trainer without any build-up. Speaking of XYZ anime, i need to pick up where i last left off on XYZ for Ash vs Diantha as i got bored with the filler episodes.#BringGoodraBack #EvolveAshSnivytoContrarySerperior
  20. Hello YinYang, happy 2 months anniversary, see you around m8
  21. Leech life/Absorb/Mega Drain/Giga Drain, vampiric stuff Okay i might be a psychopath who loves to drain people life force
  22. Hi Zero, saying welcome would be odd coming from me since we had a few chat on server on several occasions, I am Hushie btw, good luck with your Nuzlockes, see you around on server
  23. i would say Trick Room is up there among good moves albeit not in the 15-20 top due to predictability of TR team nowadays, but it allows for slow mons to shine especially turning tides against fast mons. Most priority moves like Fake Out and Bullet Punch work pretty well in lower tiers such as RU and NU especially when backed by abilities namely Technician etc. Quiver Dance has to be among the best boosting moves out there, it makes otherwise unimpressive mons like Vivillon beasts.
