It was decided that there shouldn't be one this time, as a lot of the posts in it didn't contribute much. However we still have a development blog where you can keep up with what's going on in the development process.

Go to C:\users\[your username here]\Saved Games and see if there is a pokemon reborn folder. If there is, paste the game.rxdata file in there. If there isn't- start a new game and save once, then the folder should be created and a new game.rxdata file will be made as well. Replace the new one with your old one and you should be good.

Okay, as a first disclaimer this post is from my perspective on the issue and doesn't necessarily represent the view of the whole auth team or our official stances on anything. Anyway, I do understand your point about blocking public disputes, but I know at least I am willing to be contacted about anything that is making anyone uncomfortable. To me, I think that this approach is far more likely to get the desired results, as rather than a member, often a newer one, having to confront the other user on the behaviour, us auth can do it via more official methods. This also means the user that was uncomfortable doesn't have to reveal who they are, which means that their will be less resentment towards them. That being said, I have no problem with polite discourse between users. If someone wants to say "hey, I'd prefer it if you didn't do that thing. It is making me uncomfortable," or something along those lines, I would be in full support of their decision. Then the amount of auth involvement would depend on how the person reacts, but if they resolved it between themselves, I feel like that'd be a sign of maturity, and certainly not an issue for the community. But from my perspective, the reason why we shut down most of this stuff and more serious threads outside the nightclub, is that as a community reasoned debate is a real weakness. On issues that people are emotionally invested in, we seem to resort to personal attacks rather than discussing the content itself. I've given up on making politics threads entirely because pretty much every time I have to end up locking them. I'm partially to blame for this as well, because I have deeply held political views that I'm prepared to fight hard for, but in the end this forum isn't the best place to do so. If people want to create more serious threads, that's fine, but once it has become full of personal attacks on others, I can't really let it stay open. Respecting other members is really important, and these debate threads just seem to consistently end up ignoring that rule. If as a community, Reborn could prove that we had reached a point where this debate was not going to result in people attacking each other, and could stay on topic, I'd be in full support of everything you outlined, but whenever we've let something like that through to give it a test, things have gone wrong, and I with the way the community argues now I feel like the stricter auth direction is necessary. By the way- if someone replies to me here and I don't respond for a while it isn't because I'm ignoring you... I promise I'll get to you as soon as I can but I'm kinda busy with school and stuff.

Kinda awkward how I worked with Baz on redemption for quite a while and still didn't know most off this stuff... I guess we didn't talk all that much. Oops... Anyway, this week I'm gonna nominate Xiri because I can and he's an interesting guy.

No spoilers here on account of me only having played the game for like 2 hours and being exceptionally bad at it, but I'll put everything in spoiler tags none the less just in case anyone wants absolutely no details about the early game.

I learn content that I have handwritten better, and I prefer not to have a computer on during class. Most teachers in the school encourage handwriting notes as well. The other thing is that all of our examinations are handwritten, so the more practice at handwriting quickly the better.

I think I learnt more off this one than any of the previous cat chats. Its always cool to get to know a bit more about the members who I haven't interacted with that much. I guess I'll nominate Tacos.

Assuming you already have RPGMaker and Essentials, open reborn in testplay/ debug mode. Then go to menu > pokemon, select the pokemon you want and click debug. Then scroll down to pokeball (it will be a fair way down) and pick the one you want.

I don't think anyone would have a problem with you doing that. You would need to use RPGMaker and essentials, which we often discourage, but for something this small I don't think it would be a problem. I'm assuming you know how to do it based on your comments, but if not I'm happy to go over how to do it.

By the end of the game all starters will be available via events or in the wild, so in the long run there is no real disadvantage. Everyone will just end up with one unnecessary event.

I started doing that quiz but it takes too long so let's not do that. Anyway here's my list.

Reborn is just significantly darker than the main series games. The people in it are often cruel and callous and they are perfectly capable of ignoring certain pokemon. Also, they have much more pressing matters than growing close to their partners. They need them to save the world, but for that they don't need them to be friends, they need them to be strong. In Reborn, the player isn't better than Team Meteor because he/she/xe treats their pokemon better, but because of what they're fighting for. Players are also going to have a bigger emotional reaction to a developed, human character suffering than a pokemon. So it makes sense that we care more about Kiki's death than Medicham's. We got to know Kiki in a way that we couldn't know pokemon who can't talk. The same logic applies to Corey. Finally, Reborn isn't meant to be a model society. It is kind of a dystopian city. People abuse, smuggle and don't care for their pokemon properly, but that is realistic in a world where there is such a large percentage of the population in poverty. If you're starving and mistreating pokemon might help you get a meal, you're probably going to mistreat them, or at least not treat them as a friend.

Probably some type of Indian curry. I can't exactly pick a favourite though because it really depends on who has made it.

Good to see plenty of people wanting come to Australia. It is a nice place- you'll enjoy it. For me personally, I think seeing Canada, Germany and Spain could be interesting. I've already been to a lot of my top priorities, but they are countries that have always interested me that I haven't seen.

If none of that stuff works you can always upload your file to dropbox or mediafire and get us to download it that way. It isn't ideal, but if that's the only way to get it to work it is okay with us.

I think it is rather likely. Super training wasn't introduced mostly because it entirely relied on minigames to work (I think), whereas hyper training would be simple enough to add in. I can't guarantee it, but it seems kinda likely.
