    ^I second this. My other favorites are Aster and Eclipse. They kinda have that Team Rocket and a married couple vibe that is always delightful to see.

    Have you checked the pokemon location guide? You can get a Numel, Electrike (both require weather events, just change the pc date), Woobat, Litleo (requires to trade a Bibarel), Trubbish, and a Whismur. All located in the Peridot area. Likes: Pretty much everything and Shelly Dislikes: No shirtless Cain, Fern, and Voltorb Flip.

    So you rather have unobedient pokemon than to reduce a few levels? Now that's just stubborn. You complain about the level caps when there is something that can offset it and you REFUSE to acknowledge let alone use it? Well, have fun with that.

    You can buy common candies. You know? The ones that reduce your level? You have heard of them, right?

    Cheatable, but certainly not impossible. Besides am I the only one who doesn't see it as a cheat? Because there were plenty times when the opponent makes a wrong move in my playthrough. Also it's funny when you say the badge system is "stupid" as you say when my problem right now is that my team is currently underleveled. Are you one of those people who pick favorites and try to brute force the game like all other pokemon games?

    A friend suggested to me a Woobat with a Simple ability. It is quite astounding after the first gym and you can get it almost immediately after gaining your starter pokemon by going into the Railnet.

      That right there works the vast majority of the time so long as you keep updating the rows correctly as you go each round. if it screws up, it's because of human error... er, hat error, in this case.

      True, true. It just help those like me who have no sense of skill with this type of stuff. Its somewhat luck-based so you'll be taking alot of chances while using it.

    I for one do not mind "the axe" (considering I join in pretty late compared to others). I never dreamed that I would end up using Swoobat or Durant but I realized their potential and they incredibly assisted my journey. I originally join because of the challenge and the help I'll be needing but you helped me see that other pokemons do have their uses even if it's temporarily. That being said...

      My Loudred wasn't soundproof. I used Swoobat and taught it Charge Beam.

    A good luck to you, Lord Koyo. I wished I have check upon this guide when I started my journey but I was able to obtain most of the secrets through sheer luck and dumpster diving.

      Just take with a parachisu or emolga for defeating the high level pokemon so you can get vulpix. I'm serious.

      Or bring anything with Magnitude (like Numel), kills it in one go.

      As for Corey, Growlithe is great if you're fighting him in the Corrosive Mist Field, Fire attacks are powered up and Flame Burst is a nuke.

    Second gym down thanks to the combine might of Trubbish and Loudred against Florina's Cradily. Now I dread what may be in store for me.
