  1. My picks: As someone who has only watched the anime, I cannot understand the amount of praise Bakugo gets both inside the show and within the fanbase. He's a borderline sociopath(not in an enduring way) and his treatment of deku is abhorrent(remember, he once told deku to kill himself for being quirkless) and completely undeserved. His development hasn't been all that amazing either so far despite all the focus he's gotten and he's still a jerk off, TBH I find him one of the worst characters on the show.
  2. Switch electabuzz out for mismagius or meowstic(both should level up a bit though). Remember that psychic is powered up on terra's field and Mismagius has immunity to ground moves, although she loses her STAB effectiveness as ghost moves become physical unfortunately. Try to set up toxic spikes if you can as it will help with quagsire and palossand who can become very hard to take down as they'll lose their weakness via seeds and quagsire will spam amnesia to become a tank of destruction, which you don't want. Actually wait how do you have a Lucarionite???
  3. They do put a lot of care into the characters. Venam is a favorite of mine too. That said I do feel like the game just has too many characters. You get so many names introduced and thrown at you in relatively short amounts of times it's difficult to keep up with them all .
  4. ...huh Wakfu is actually a really good show. Kind of upset I never gave it a chance before. Granted it does look pretty corny at first glance, plus it takes some episodes to hit its stride(but this applies for most shows really). And the English dub is admittedly corny sometimes(it's better in French) but it's one of the best animated western cartoon series this past decade(especially considering it uses Flash of all things) and has a ton of charm with some nice world-building and development. The villain is pretty awesome too.

  5. The way Taka speaks makes him come off as a douchebag. even if he's not really. He sounds like a sitcom character. Drives me crazy.
  6. TBH the puppet master was kind of easy. One quiver dance from masquerain, baton pass to decideye, nasty plot and sweeeeeep with an occasional roost to get back health. Only had to use 2 pokemon really.

  7. Seriously banettenite was the other one in Karrina's hand? wtf. heracross and banette have nothing to do with one another and the megas/pokemon aren't even comparable. I'm utterly confused by this design choice? Hoping there's a way to get the one you didn't choose later on once you actually get the ring. I hope we aren't locked out of it until like postgame or something.
  8. Risa  might be my favorite new Rejuvenation leader(at least I think she's one), her little hip swinging animation won her over for me.

    1. Abyssreaper99

      Abyssreaper99

I dunno if she was confirmed a gym leader but just a popular student at the University. She's kinda cool though 🙂

  9. Beat Flora first try, but man what a battle, only had one pokemon left(decideye). Her ace is so  bulky and her field + weather + seed shenanigans makes her pokemon take a lot more abuse then you'd expect. At the very least I was able to get talonflame caught up to level 60 and caught a monster specimen of a dodrio(naughty nature with perfect attack and speed IVs).   I do like Flora as a character though, she acts totally different to how you'd expect from her waifish appearance. Not liking Erin too much though haha.

  10. Flying is versatile and offers a lot of picks. I did it before and it was a blast. types that take advantage of fields or offer a lot of mons are more fun generally speaking. Poison is really fun. And actually quite good. I wouldn't suggest dragon because you have like 2 picks in the beginning, and noibat SUCKS. I guess it's better with some traded mons though. But yeah go with poison, be Cain's butt buddy.
  11. Akuwa/Kirstaline-2 town theme. goldenwood forest as Etrena forest remixes are always beautiful. the wetlands/aquamarine cave themes as well, just lovely pieces. Also Melia's theme of course, since Lacunosa town is a really nice track anyway.
  12. Germany lucked out soooo hard.

  13. For gameplay: redguard: always reliable in every game for playing a warrior type character. dark elf: best all arounder race, very flexible and the fire resist is too good. Not too fond of how the females look across the games though. The purple eyed girl from skyrim was cool but it's hard to look as good as her. nord: their frost and electric resists in Morrowind was great but that got nerfed later games. I kind of prefer redguards for my melee classes but Nords have better resistsances. For lore? Wood Elves. Particularly the women since the guys didn't start being cool until skyrim lol. Cool and unique belief systems(yes I know they're cannibals), possibly the least antagonistic of the playable elves and I like their reliance on guile and trickery to stand up to the other more physically imposing races. Nords and Redguards would be my other two favorites.
  14. Screw Bakugo, give me his mom!!!!

    1. Wolfox

      Wolfox

they both have quite the explosive personality, though I can smeel great development coming for young Kachan

    Jojo Part 5 anime confirmed!

  16. To be fair that was the anime, which differs in continuity somewhat compared to the games. In the games stuff like that never occurred, closest real world references are countries and animals. Never particular historical figures though. But I suppose your take would make sense.
  17. Like I felt this way about earlier versions regarding characters especially due to the absolutely brotastic dialogue and some admittedly poorly written ones(Ren and Crescent) though the gameplay was good enough to keep me playing. I found the rewritten script helped a LOT though in making the game's tone and overall narrative better, though truthfully some characters are still insufferable(looks at Ren again). My main issue is that sometimes it feels the characters are introduced too rapidly? like there's all these names to remember and they get thrown at you one after another, at times it feels like there's too many characters. The melia/maria/marianette thing is confusing at first too. But the game has improved drastically as an overall experience IMO, plus the story gets more interesting as it goes along. That said Rejuv, like Reborn really does its own thing when in comes to its tone and story so I can get not liking its flavor. However, I must question something: how come characters say stuff like Jesus Christ? I get that's what people say IRL, but in the context of the pokemon world it seems weird because it's like, Jesus existed in Rejuv's world? There's Christianity? Reborn does the same thing and it kills immersion a bit when it happens. even when its funny.
  18. It's a double battle that takes place on the murkwater field, which makes ground moves useless. This is what makes the fight hard. Mind you the battle was on a totally different field in earlier versions so I imagine that's partly why people don't struggle with it much. I found grass useful due to its electric resist(electric impulse hits hella hard even resisted and will likely paralyze you) and it's essential against his Wash Rotom. I'd save Cacturne for it especially. Manetric will be useful with lightning rod but I believe Elecitvire also has motor drive meaning manetric will likely lose against it. Infernape. should be able to deal some good damage against elecivire via close combat and hopefully outspeed it but will likely get OHKO to it as well, with the field boost + life orb electivire's STAB hits INCREDIBLY hard. TBH I think Xatu is dead weight in this fight, as A-Raichu outspeeds it and will likely OHKO it. Floatzel seems excellent for delivering a coup de grace to a weakened pokemon as I think aqua tail gets a boost but at the same time it's gonna go down easy. Altaria's good special defense is quite nice so it has the most lasting power of your mons but I don't feel it'll be strong enough to take down megamphy efficiently enough, at least not by itself. It wouldn't surprise me if megaamphy actually beats out altaria, as megaamphy has good special bulk and altaria's special attack is rather mediocre. Your team lacks bulk, more than half your mons are glass cannons so to speak and erik just hits way too hard and with eelektross/wash rotom on his team is simply going to thug through your offenses. I hate to break it to you but you're either going to have to rely on X items/potions/stuff or raise up some more pokemon, as this team is at a severe disadvantage for this battle. Thankfully Rejuv is grind friendly and has the audino breeder in the news station as well as dr jenkel's if you want to do the xen missions again for experience. This fight took me 3 tries and it's one of the tougher ones honestly. I used houndoom, primarina, ludicolo, lycanroc, throh, and decideueye without using any pack items, I find that strong physical moves are the way to go with electivire(his defense is miserable, so Infernape should work well against him), strong fairy or dragon offense for Megamphy(preferably physical), grass for rotom(it's bulky and grass is like the only reliable way to do big damage on it, plus it resists both its STABs though I do think it carries hidden power ice), strong physical bug/dark/ghost for A-Raichu(again physically squishy), and for eelektross...honestly that thing is a PITA and it carries giga drain so even ground types are susceptible to it. It ended up being the last pokemon I took down and the most difficult. The only saving grace is that it's really slow. Worst case scenerio, you can raise the turtwig egg that you got from the help center completion. Of course that's a time investment but it's an option. Torterra seems like it'd be legit for this gym, as long as you keep it from the ice attacks.
  19. Sonic R has an amazing OST. Say what you want about the game itself, but the OST is pure 90s  cheese at its best. Back In Time is my personal favorite off there.

  20. Beat that animu doofus Erik. I was NOT expecting that field for an electric leader, but it definitely made the fight more interesting and tougher than it would've been with just the regular electric field. Unfortunately Claydol ended up near useless as a result and it took 3 tries but I managed to win by switching out claydol for Primarina and some lucky flinches from lycanroc's rockslide at the end while paired up with Ludicolo. Before I had Throh OHKO his ace via a bulked up superpower, which helped tremendously as his ace kept creaming me before.

That garbage must have an insane paralysis chance because he kept paralyzing me with it. It deals a good amount too.  Only pokemon on my team that resisted it(after switching out claydol) was decideueye who of course would end up paralyzed and KO'd either next turn or two turns later.

  21. Emolga gets acrobatics(at level 30) , nuzzle, encore, light screen, and volt switch . For the point it arrives in the game, its moveset suits it perfectly.
  22. wtf Masquerain's buff in gen 7 was more than I thought.  Its special attack AND speed rose an entire 20 points each.

      here's your bug water type.

and when looking only at stats, yes, it got what it needed. just not enough of what it needed

I mean araquanid also exists and is also cool

but quiver dance stab hydro pumps sound good.

  23. I feel dayRoc is better in Rejuv if mainly due to accelerock(big help against amber) and being faster but Lycanroc is hella good in this game. Saved my butt several times. I haven't used nightRoc at all but I can vouch for dayroc being useful if frail. I found talonflame a lot better once he got acrobatics(which takes way too long) but yeaaaah he's going to be dead weight for a while. Last time I used him was Crawli where he was good but I haven't touched him since. Might retire him. Hang on to dedenne until you can get togedamaru. Togedamaru is awesome. sturdy, nuzzle, and the ability to alter terrain with electric terrain, which dedenne can do too but togedamru has a better chance of survival. Both these guys can serve you well though and longer than you'd think. Pretty underrated pokemon. You should definitely add 3 more members to your team though.
  24. Megakanga and Talonflame's abilities come to mind.
  25. What music is the track that plays in Rejuv's  akuwa/kristiline based off? It's such a lovely piece.

      Youmu9

Oh, it's from Super Mystery Dungeon called Noe Town. It doesn't sound exactly the same as the original though. I think the track was altered to be a bit slower.

I never played the mystery dungeon games too much so that explains why I didn't recognize it. Thanks.
