  1. I’m pretty sure it maximizes friendship, though I’m not entirely sure.

  4. Welcome r.a.! I hope you enjoy the game, and don't be afraid to ask questions if you ever need help with Reborn!

  6. Can’t say I’ve been following this series too much but I’d assume they’ve been added in for the sake of speeding up the leveling process off-screen.
  7. You’ll come to learn that the question you just asked is fairly taboo. It’s difficult to approximate. The most we can do is look at this. Once it reaches 100%, it will have to go through alpha and beta testing to sift through bugs and test its playability before it is released to us.
  8. I'm inclined to believe it's just about as real as the Mewtwo before the gym battle with Terra. So no.
  9. I hope since this is meant to be a helpful piece of info that can improve functionality that this won't count as a necro post. No one has expressed an issue yet, but I just updated to High Sierra on my macbook and with that update came a compatibility issue with wineskin in which the wrapper would not open. To fix this, right click on your wineskin Reborn (or whatever game you're using) wrapper, select show package contents. There will be three options: Contents, drive_c, and Wineskin. Select wineskin and then choose "set screen options." From there, deselect "Auto Detect GPU Info for Direct3D." After that, the wineskin wrapper should be able to open again. Also since I noticed this was missing in the op of the guide, here is a link to download wineskin winery: http://wineskin.urgesoftware.com/tiki-index.php?page=Downloads
  10. Reviving this thread at my own risk
  11. So I was taking a look at this year's Member Appreciation Thread and came to the realization that there are ton of people who are either posting in there or are being tagged in there that I either never knew or don't recognize. Perhaps a lot of it is just name changes that I never was aware of, but I'm inclined to believe most of it is that there are plenty of new faces since I took my leave of absence. So, considering I intend to become active here again, I thought I'd reintroduce myself for those who don't know me. Anyway, hi, I'm Tacos, or Ryan if you'd prefer. Some people call me by another name that I do not endorse but will still answer to, and I'm sure some older people would be thrilled to disclose it if you asked. I recently graduated high school and I'll be attening the University of Delaware in the Fall. I was a forum moderator here for two different terms, so that might explain the smell (is smelly auth still a relevant joke here?). You may have seen me from some posts I've made in the past, such as the mac guide, or a couple posts about rules or announcements. I'm not particularly good with introductions, so I'm not quite sure what else to put here. I'm willing to talk to anyone about just about anything, since I'm always down for a good conversation. I'm going to try my best to be as active as I reasonably can, though I'll probably be found more on the server-side of things. Thanks for your time everyone, and I hope to maybe start getting to know some of these newer faces.
  12. Happy birthday my dude!

  13. There is a limit to data. To clear up more space, either delete messages from your inbox or go to your account and then find “my attachments.” From there you can delete any old files you’ve attached that you no longer need.
  14. Well this is upsetting. This looks like a bunch of fun, but I have my own graduation party starting at exactly 2 that day, so if I can even make it, it wouldn’t be until late in the party. Hope everyone has a good time though!
  15. Probably unnecessary for me to inject my opinion at this point, but I think this is a good step in the right direction. I like the idea of etiquette warnings being reduced to 0 points. I can’t even count how many times I had to painfully give someone a warning point for being new and unfamiliar with the rules on something so simple as a double or necro post. Removing points from first time offenses and keeping points on repeat offenses sounds like the way to go. And yea, I definitely remember the frustration of how mute and mod review made it hard for the very rare few users who were clearly deserving of a ban to get the last point or two for the ban, so this change is very nice to see. Good work team!
  16. HAHAH! It’s only been a month so I’m safe from necro rules! But hi, I promise I’m not dead. I just have taken the past year to focus on my life in my senior year and since I just graduated I can probably be back and maybe join the discord who knows. Thanks for the shoutout Mike!
  17. Well this sure looks like a suitable alternative if I do say so myself. While yea, I do agree that my process of using wine in general does allow for use of essentially any game without much hassle, I recognize it's still a somewhat flawed approach and definitely does have its cons. This approach looks much more specialized and seems more secure. Plus, I can't exactly vouch for how up to date my guide is. It was made almost 4 years ago and has only received a few updates since, so it definitely could be outdated at this point. Though it has been, and always will be, my pride and joy and my most prized contribution to Reborn as a token of my gratitude for all this place has provided for me, I recognize the faults of my approach. I know that I certainly won't be around enough to keep that guide up to date. So, I guess I bestow my title of "Go-To Mac Dude" to you, Mr. Ashk5! Wear it with pride. You're doing great things.
  18. Trust me, it's nothing particularly bad. Just, there's an unspoken level of comfort that there is/was in the Nightclub tends to allow us to open up a little. Some of us, myself included, have things like diary threads in there. And well, I think you understand why I'd prefer to not have that be seen ya know?
  19. Well shit this looks neat. Might as well poke my head out of my personal little nightclub thread to say hi. Known as: Tacos/Tacps (only for those who were there during that terrible time) Age: 17 years old Gender: Male Birthday: September 22, 1999 Location: U.S.A. The community, while far from perfect, was a place of kindness, acceptance, and memes. The game was a nice past time and I found myself desiring to donate, which at the time, I didn't even realize gave me ace membership. So for about 3-4 years I've been here on and off, enjoying two periods of time as a forum mod, which I very much enjoyed. As things got to be more busy in my life, I had to throw in the towel. But I still enjoy this place very much and I always find myself drawn back here every now and then. Moving away from my history here, I'm currently going into my senior year of high school with hopes of going to college to study genetics. Music is a cornerstone of my life, as I involve myself in numerous choirs and bands, as well as acting as the current percussion captain for my school's marching band. I'm not the easiest person to approach, I know, but I hope I don't scare anyone away. Anything you're responsible for? Perhaps my most prized possession (which I realize I probably should be updating at some point even) on Reborn is the Reborn for Macs guide I made forever ago, back when we were doing little things in public development like reducing move and item descriptions to fit in their text display. Aside from that, as a mod, I took part in numerous meetings where we made important decisions about the community that often led to announcements that I either wrote up myself or contributed towards. Before I was ever a mod though, I incited the gator incident from years back by spontaneously transforming into fezzdog on the forums. If you had to choose one of your posts as your way to introduce yourself, which would it be? Neither my proudest moment, nor an actual quote by me, but nonetheless: What can I talk to you about? Pretty much anything. Conversations are one of my greatest joys and a good one with just about anyone can make my day. Closing statements? Love yourselves, friends. Stay Spicy.
  20. Face tank the entire team and get penta kills. Did I get Kog's playstyle right?
