  1. I don't think I have a right to tell you what you have already forgotten.
  2. It doesn't mean he is innocent either. You're thinking about this the wrong way though.
  3. K_H, let my try to explain visions to you a bit better. It will take place in a cold climate as that's where the event took place. What exactly will happen is still uncertain. For example, before the vision was seen, an Electivire could've been responsible for the death. Since the future was then seen, it already changed, even just a little bit. Now, it's known that a Skarmory was seen at the crime and it's assumed it was responsible for attacking Ryan. Because this is now know, a different outcome will happen. Even handing the Skarmory over to Henry (even though it's probably going to be Mareek), may not change the future. Perhaps he's the one who attacked Ryan creating that scene. (Now that I think about it, I could see him doing that...not saying why though). In the end, the event is going to happen even if you change something. @Azery: Rarely are things so black and white. That's all I can say on the matter.
  4. If Surge doesn't want it, I can drop either Aerodactyl or Togekiss and take in Skarmory. I feel either of those two makes sense seeing as Skarmory is attached a bit to Mareek and Henry...do I even need to explain. @Surge: Henry would, but he still doesn't know a Skarmory is behind the murder. If he saw the Skarmory, he wouldn't believe it, especially since it is Evan they're talking about.
  5. Surge, I have the perfect Pokemon for you Delibird Drifblimb will work well for you. If you really, really feel like you need it, I'll drop Aerodactyl and find a replacement for it, but like I said, most of my development for each Pokemon is complete. Swellow really, really underrated and useful if you want that instead. Tropius might be your best bet. As for whoever said Sunflora, I would totally use it, but Cherrim fits so much better on my team overall. @Chim: Err....I'm really tempted to take it. I know you all love Paradox, but Jory has a Togetic too...GAAAAAAH!
  6. Yeah...I'm not actually going too competitive with my team (though it'll be fun bombarding you guys with Earthquakes next chapter ). Generally my rule of thumb is to choose one Pokemon I really like (Delcatty/Ninetales), and try to look for ones I have mixed feelings with like Venomoth.
  7. I've used one competitively in UU for a trick room team. I know of it's power. It actually is pretty deadly to hyper offensive Pokemon, but completely worthless once it gets any status effect, especially in this RP. You also forgot we have other Pokemon too. My team is designed mostly for doubles, but they all can handle themselves in singles even at a disadvantage later down the line. (Pretty sure all off Henry's Pokemon will have a super effective move against a Dragon...except Gypsy, but she's got Tinted Lens.)
  8. You might not realize it, but Arbok really does have a lot more uses here compared to the metagame. You may want to consider it for year two as it's a great partner for a Powerhouse being able to stall opponents like crazy. Seriously though, Tentacruel is probably the best choice for your team with access to Rapid Spin (and can destroy Doux with that Liquid Ooze)
  9. @Azery: Honestly, none of those really work well for the team you're going for (no offense..get it...I know it's terrible). I'd go for Tentacruel, Toxicroak, Seviper/Arbok, or Scoliopede. They have a lot more diversity and uses compared to your list.
  10. It may not look like it, but Henry's team will be able to shred defense to pieces in a chapter or two. Delcatty is definitely worthy of being Henry's ace. (Burrows is his Singles ace though)
  11. I've done something like this where I nuzlocked from Fire Red all the way up to Omega Ruby (including Colosseum and XD). There were quite a number of freak outs/stories along the way like the Quick Claw of immortality. Just wanted to point something else out. Don't double post. If you want to add something, just put it in with the edit button. The mods must be on vacation or something.
  12. "...It's a long story, but I'll try to make it quick. You see, before she was adopted, she was an orphan living on the streets of Pyrite Town. While I was away here, my family thought it'd be a good idea to adopt her...though I'm not really sure how it worked." Henry looked over to Citrine once more. It still felt weird that they were now siblings. "I didn't trade Zuko away if that's what you were asking. I just let Henry use him while I just hung around in the background. Besides, a girl's gotta eat." She then thought about what Raiza just mentioned. "What's Final Fantasy? Sounds like one of those DnD games I've heard about."
  13. Flux, I was kind of like you when I first saw them which is why I only got the Marth Amiibo originally. They actually do quite a bit of stuff, but smash bros (mario party is doing a lot with 'em too) is the most noticeable so far. Level one up to level 50 and they can kick your ass. I don't mean just kick, but can absolutely dominate you. I trained up Marth and Meta Knight up to 50 and my main, Ganondorf, is the only one I can beat them with due to an exploit. Just pick one up and you'd understand the pain and suffering. Beating an amiibo with the same character is very, very difficult (glares at Marth Amiibo). Even if you don't care about the game capabilities, they look very nice and are well detailed (with a couple minor paint errors once in a while). I can take a couple pictures if you want to see any of mine. Toon Link and Rosalina are probably my favorite to look at.
  14. There shouldn't be a weather condition (not sure about time), but I know it's at least available in the day and in the wild. It takes a while but you should find it eventually.
  15. "Oh, so you're like a ticking time bomb. That's nice to know," Nina responded in a friendly manner. This didn't seem to bother as much as it should because of that fact she was happy someone actually picked her instead of the other way around. "You're not going to beat me up or anything, are you? I don't want to be covered in bruises everyday."
  16. And now I properly introduced the one and only Heizen with a man cooking his meat in the background. I posted Hiezen up in the NPCs. He's actually younger than a couple NPCs surprisingly.
  17. And thus Shiro manages to tick Henry off once more (at least when he sees it). Edit: how many of you caught that little reference I made?
  18. "Citrine is...special when it comes to battling," Henry answered. "When it comes to the basics of battling, she doesn't know squat...like she thought water was lightning was weak to poison last time I saw her." "Wait! It's not? I was sure that was right," responded Citrine who was now confused. "I do have to give her props. She's the one who created some of my more out there strategies. It's probably why I like double battle more than singles. Never could win a one on one back in Orre." Henry looked over and saw Rosie and Zuko still locked into their staring contest. "And to think this beautiful friendship started when I offered you Zuko in exchange for two meals a day." Citrine watched as Zuko glared at her. He still hadn't forgotten how easily she gave him up the first time. "I love you too, Zuko." Suddenly, the Delcatty teased Zuko for looking away claiming her victory once again. She'd never lost to him yet.
  19. Training Group After everyone traded out their weapons, Jenkins tossed the bag into the wagon and got back up on his horse. He looked into the distance once more, this time seeing a figure on a horse riding towards them. “Aye, looks like that’s my cue to leave.” He gave the horse one quick whip and rode away before anyone could respond. “It’s about damn time he showed up. Well, that’s my cue to leave then.” Virgil, still wielding his blade, simply walked back to the village leaving the trainees alone with their new instructor. A man covered in silver armor made his way to the group and dismounted his white horse. Once he removed his helmet and chainmail, his shiny and well groomed light brown hair could be seen. The man also looked a bit younger than the previous instructor. The armored man gave a proper posture making sure everyone could see him before speaking. “Good evening. My name is Sir Heizen. As you may have heard, I will be replacing the highly respected General Virgil as your new instructor. We will begin this 3 month training by starting with some…” “Excuse me, but I forgot my sword at home. Would you mind if I just went home to get it for a minute?” asked Zachariah. “That won’t be necessary, boy. You can just borrow mine.” Heizen pulled out a slighty worn Iron Sword and was ready to toss it “Nevermind,” Zachariah quickly replied. “I think I’ll be fine without one. I’m better with a bow anyways.” He then slowly moved over to Kelsey. “Hey, know anything about that smoke coming from over there.” “There’s always smoke like that coming from the town. Now please be quiet. I don’t want to get in trouble,” she whispered back. “But…” Zach watched Kelsey back away from him. He look over to the town seeing the smoke rise. It wasn’t too visible and looked like nothing more than someone cooking some meat. Still, something didn’t feel right. “Pay attention!” yelled Heizen. Zach quickly turned to the man. “Now, I want all of you to wield your weapons. Proper technique is important in battle.”
  20. Uh, there's just been a big slowdown in the RP section as a whole, not just here. I've been busy working on an update (and a second big update) on my own RP. Truthfully, I was just waiting for the Natalie and Rein conversation to happen before posting again. PS Stuff like this happens all the time. Things always come up.
  21. People say dupes clause makes Nuzlockes easier. Thanks to them, I'm going to have to face Maxie and Flannery without a Water type.

      Well, Dupes is optional :P

    3. Maelstrom

      Maelstrom

      Nuzlocke itself is optional.

    4. Shamitako

      Shamitako

      You're all optional! >:c

  22. Honestly, I don't think we can be giving reviews for an unfinished project (only impressions). I can't really give a review of the game difficulty anymore because the version of reborn I played (episode 10 version) is very different than the current one. I'm still waiting on one leader to get her field effect before restarting from the beginning again.
  23. Citrine remained silent for a moment grinning while looking over to her little 'brother.' Henry tried to avoid looking into her eyes. She then looked back at Raiza. She was having a bit of a hard time whether to tell the truth to the girl or to play along with Henry's game. "...uhh...that wasn't what I was...nevermind. It's good to know Henry's got a buddy when I'm not around. Don't worry though, those rumors are oh so true. He's just a big softie once you get past that tough guy thing." "Luna!" Henry yelled at her. "What? She's gonna figure it out sooner or later. Oh, you called me by my real name. Didn't think it was that serious." She watched the boy go back into silence once again. He was trying to hide it, but he was turning a bit red. "Anyway, I remember seeing you on the battlefield. Seems like there's a lot of strong competitors out there."
  24. Yeah, I don't think two fields would make sense either. Truthfully, I really don't mind the slow down (I'm not sure about everyone else). I mean it let's some of us extend ships conversations out a little longer and I'm not flooded with posts to read.
  25. Updated everyone with their weapons on the sign-ups page. I'll be updating sooner or later, but I just wanted to see if RubyHeart had anything planned with Jenkins.
