Generally, I don't think grinding is that big of an issue as I've been able to use Pokemon found in the first two episodes to make it all the way past some of the hardest gym leaders before their nerfs (cough*Serra and Aya*cough). Heck, I found Noel ridiculously easy, but Sigmund nearly kicked my behind. In reality, each of those mons needs to be tested for the time it takes to grind and compare it to how useful they are. For example, Ghastly comes at a very low level, but Gengar is able to one shot quite a few mons when it evolves. Fossil Pokemon come in at level 20, but only a couple of them are really good so it's likely a wasted effort compared to trying another Pokemon (Aerodactyl tho).

Most of those you listed I'm okay with (especially Ditto since HP is the only important stat anyways). Here's a couple that are often forgotten: Joltik This little guy is a pain in the arse to grind up just to be useful when there's already a very, very big handful of bigger bug mons who start at a higher level. I can't remember the exact level, but I prefer if it being a couple levels away from evolving (is Lv 33-35 really too much to ask?). Stunfisk Before I get any hate, this thing isn't too bad of a Pokemon. The level it comes at pretty much makes it absolutely worthless though because no one wants to train a Stunfisk up 28 levels (I think it comes up at lv 5) just to be able to use it. I'd prefer if it wasn't ranked on the same level as Dunsparce because it can be useful especially when Aya is coming around the corner. I'd be happy with a level 20 one, but I'd rather it be 25. Carvanha (Good Rod) I forget the level, but it definitely should be higher for the pain in the ass roundabout you have to go through just to get it if you choose team Magma. You have to not only get the Good Rod, but walk all the way back to Reborn City and start fishing for it (and Skrelp), but unlike Skrelp you're required to beat team Aqua and fish for it in a tiny spot you might not even realize is fishable. Lv 40 like Zangoose at least. Did I mention that it takes forever to grind up anyways?

??? What? Pretty sure Julia was still Julia even back before episode 10. As for the sprites, the protagonists were revamped, but pretty they were only changed a tad bit.

I'd go for Probopass or Kecleon. Kecleon is a bit more stealthy and Probopass is bulky, but you already have a bulky Pokemon so my vote goes to Wash Keckleon.

Pokémon Academy: Ch 3: Winter Cup [IC]

"So that's why he quieted down when I sang to him." Citrine had a big grin on her face. "Don't worry about it. I'm just happy Henry was able to make some friends...or is there something more between you two." "Citrine! I thought we already talked about this," interrupted Henry. "We're just...friends." "You hesitated." She watched as Henry just glared at her in silence. It didn't bother her as she turned back to Raiza. "So how did the two of you meet?"- 1255 replies

I thought the message was don't trust Chinese people While a Defensive strategy is good, it isn't a guranteed way to win. That's a hard lesson people learn after mocking my 252 Spd EV Venusaur.

"That's 'cause he's my brother from another mother," responded Citrine. "She's adopted," Henry quickly included. "I have to ask you something important." Citrine scooted closer and closer to this Raiza girl. "Where did you find the mute button on this thing?" She pointed to the little Togepi in her hands. Meanwhile, Zuko was glaring up at the newly evolved Rosie. It felt a bit weird seeing as he used to be bigger than her. The Delcatty merely looked down at the Vulpix and the two were locked into a staring contest. While Rosie didn't know any better, Zuko was a bit jealous of her evolving first. Seemed like she always won when it came to Henry.- 1255 replies

Just a heads up about the Best Buy Meta Knight Amiibo exclusive. Even if you don't want it, stop by Best Buy anyways as they're handing out $5 off coupons on any Wii U/3DS Game. My store had plenty in so I got a Meta Knight. He's going to completely and utterly destroy me. (at least this isn't Brawl)

And so it begins. Can't have her start off too weird because she's trying not to scare Raiza (just give her a minute).

Pokémon Academy: Ch 3: Winter Cup [IC]

Wait was that Lana? Henry turned a minute to see where she went when was suddenly startled by a blonde haired girl. "How long have you been there?" "Long enough," she responded. "I just came by to give you your wallet back. So, want to introduce me to this little friend of yours?" Henry sighed a moment after looking through his empty wallet. "Maybe I don't introduce you to people because you'll probably scare them off. Raiza, meet Citrine. Citrine, meet Raiza. Now I suggest you run before it's too late." "Awww, don't be so mean to your big sister," responded Citrine. "I'm honestly not that bad of a person." "Yes you are," Henry mumbled.- 1255 replies

OOC: [Interest check/signups]
Commander replied to Sevonic's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
This seems interesting. I have one little question (this is coming from a guy who's written huge novels with something similar to elements) how exactly do the elements work. Is it more like Avatar where they are able to bend elements around them? -
I have failed miserably. Somehow I managed to mix up knives and daggers. Gotta keep those FE weapons straight.

Fire Emblem Deminian Knights [Sign-Ups/OOC]

Exlink, I kind of want to stick to one weapon per person right now. The bronze daggers (or whatever bronze one can be thrown) thing was merely a suggestion as only one PC has ranged attacks right now. Either the 6 bronze daggers knives or one bronze sword, but not both. (or dual wield two bronze daggers). Edit: Knives are the throwing ones. I shall fix that in my posts.- 169 replies

RubyHeart "Aye, I'm certainly no commanding officer," quickly responded the old man. "This old bag of bones is nothing more than a simple soldier. Heizen's the one your looking for. Don't worry, he's a good fellow. As for your training grounds question, this miserable piece of land is the best we can do. Normally we do training in the castle courtyards, but things have erupted so quickly we have to get you folks out there the moment your ready." Komodragon "Give me that!" Virgil yelled snatching the book from the poor mage's hands. He flipped through the pages for a moment before shutting the book. "These things seem to disappear faster than anything else. We need as many as we can get." He then tossed the book into the bag and looked in the other sack with a bit of a grin on his face when he held another yellow book. "It's your lucky day. Seems like someone tossed a thunder tome in here by accident." He tossed this tome towards Komorrin and watched it flop to the ground in front of him. It was a bit worn, but still seemed completely functional.

Pokémon Academy: Ch 3: Winter Cup [IC]
Commander replied to Chim's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
"Actually, I'm not really sure. She usually eats whatever Rosie does." Henry then dropped Paradox into her arms and embraced himself for what was about to happen just like Rosie. Paradox's joyful expressions disappeared as she looked up at Raiza's face. For a few seconds she looked at her silently...slowly her face began to change into a smile and she returned to her playful and jittery ways. He was rather surprised this. "You've got to be kidding me. If I only I had know she'd react like that to you, I probably would've tried giving her to you. Took her a few minutes to even stop crying around Citrine." Though she probably was crying because that girl dropped her. "Er...you mind carrying her around while the tournament is going on? I can let you borrow her Poke Ball if you want. She likes watching my battles, but I can't really have her out while I'm battling." ((Zeph, you can bunny Paradox whenever she's in your hands.))- 1255 replies

You know, I'm surprised no one has barged into this Henry and Raiza moment yet. Really tempted to bring Citrine back to harass Henry some more.

"Word of advice: never use die around a man from the dessert," Henry responded quickly. "If you really insist on holding Paradox, go ahead." Henry held the small little Togepi out for Raiza to grab. Seemed like she was going to try this one way or another so there wasn't any point in resisting. Rosie wasn't too excited about this as she used her paws to cover her ears. Those cries were both loud and quite annoying, even for her.- 1255 replies

[IC] ANKL, Chapter I: Remembering to Forget
Commander replied to Shamitako's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Wah! Nina was startled when someone yanked her arm. Is everybody like this? Feels like my arms are going to fall off. "Umm...did we introduce ourselves? I can't remember if we did or not. Either way, I'm Nina. Hmm...there really isn't anything too special about me. How about you?" -
SilverJackler and Exlink/Training Group "That sword is worth more than you are," Virgil quickly interrupted before the old man could directing his attention. Some days soldiers have to stand in the front lines weaponless because of selfish people like you who think too highly of a damn piece of metal. Hell, I had to give up 14 swords and axes and I'm a general. If I were your boss, I'd personally rip it from your hands, but you're Heizen's problem now. The big baby would probably cave in and let you keep it." "Don't talk so poorly of the head general, sir," responded the old man. "I can say whatever the hell I want about it. Besides, where is he even? Knowing him, he'd probably forgotten about this already," Virgil hashed out back at him. "As much as I want to disagree, I cannot. He should've arrived here shortly before myself." The two looked around but couldn't see anyone in sight. "Please tell me he didn't get lost." Virgil then noticed the younger boy walk up with a broken sword interrupting the old man once again. "Get that piece of shit out of my face. We'd be scolded for wasting the armory's time with that thing." "Sorry boy, but there isn't anything I can do about that and it's like Virgil said. I guess it's alright to keep it, but I'd suggest pitching it. It's not worth risking your life over a mere memory." The old man then looked into the bag and pulled out some aged Daggers. "These might serve you better than swords. I've plenty of them so take half a dozen or so." RubyHeart As soon as Lucia was done handing over her weapon, Kelsey quickly ran over. "I'm so, so, so, so sorry. I didn't mean for you to do something like that. Are you hurt? I hope your not hurt. I can heal you if you are hurt. Please tell me your not hurt." Seemed like the girl was going to keep going and going unless someone stopped her.
