  1. And nobody said Girafarig. That thing really does need more love.
  2. Well Chim picked up a Zuko Vulpix instead of a Houndour so Mega Houndoom might not be a bad idea.
  3. Dobby and RubyHeart Virgil was a bit surprised by the girl running into the center of the battlefield. No one ever tried that before, let alone try to take his place in a duel. While it was true this battle wouldn't bring him satisfaction, he never really cared about that. Suddenly, he had an idea. "I'll admit, you got guts, kid. While crushing everyone's spirits is fun and all, it does get a bit boring. Tell you what: the first one to stab the other in the guts will earn my respect and be sent to the front lines."
  4. Great article you have there. I'll admit I can be a little too lenient on things at times, but I will put my foot down making sure people don't abuse it.
  5. "You act like it's always a bad thing. Releasing Pokemon, abandoning children, history is full of this kind of stuff. Some of it is still viewed as acceptable. Maybe Paradox is all happy and sweet right now, but younglings tend to follow in the footsteps of the father. It'd probably be better this way because no one wants to be around someone like me." Henry kept his expressionless face while speaking those words. Despite what he was saying, the Togepi remained happy and carefree. Rosie was a bit puzzled and began studying this Togepi. Even she'd be upset if this was her being discussed.
  6. ...I'm not set-in-stone with anything yet either. If someone else asked to be her partner, she'd probably still say yes and go into another freak out.
  7. @Turbo: I'd only consider that an issue in a Player vs Player situation. It's usually a cliche of I can't beat this guy, but I'll randomly gain a new awesome power to be able to overcome him. @Azery: I already know the perfect post to respond do that. I'll have to do it after work though. Seems like Henry's true colors are being exposed to Raiza.
  8. Henry was a bit annoyed with Jame's advice. "Before you spout out advice, maybe you should use your head for a minute. Do I look like a good father to you? I didn't even really want this little guy. The little thing just wouldn't stop following me. If either of you want her, you can have her. It's honestly not worth the effort." Henry now held the Togepi right in front of him. She was completely unfazed by his words and playfully kicked her legs with a cheerful expression on her face.
  9. Should've seen my reaction when there were 40 posts I needed to read (and I read them all). Thankfully, things have slowed down a tad bit to where I can manage.
  10. I really can't say myself. I've done things where I controlled more than 10 characters at once and it's no easy task trying to find a balance. I tend to make them all shine out at one point or another instead of saying Pokemon X and Y are more important than Pokemon Z. If I didn't do this Gypsy and Paradox would kind of be more generic and hardly get any screen time.
  11. Henry couldn't help but turn red from embarrassment...again. It was bad enough with Citrine, but now Raiza. Even though he wanted to, he had to decline Raiza's offer. "I really wish I could, but every other person who holds her she starts crying. I've also just started training her so you might start seeing her in battles later on." Henry then realized a thought he tried hiding even from himself. "Are you serious about, Lucifer? I don't think I can do this for the rest of the year. People...no, forget about it."
  12. Training Group {Dobby and Pyrrhorn} Virgil couldn’t help but break out in laughter seeing as the little tiny man was the first to accept the challenge. “You’re a funny little one, aren’t you? I ain’t gonna take back what I said about you, puny. You want my respect you gotta earn it.” He flicked the sword into the sunlight for a moment, but this time everyone could see the other side where a small red gem was embedded into the guard. “The rules are simple: the first person to bleed even a single drop of blood loses. You’re allowed to use any sword you have on you as well. Just to make you feel better, midget, I’ll even let you make the first move.” The general then turned to the man who spoke about his axe for a brief moment. “Axes smaxes. You just gotta get a little more creative in those times.” RubyHeart After hearing Virgil’s laugh, Kelsey forced herself to turn around and see the horror unfold. She saw that the little guy had accepted Virgil’s little game. Seemed like Virgil did this every single week and someone always took the challenge. She couldn’t bear to watch it happen anymore. Zach was too far away so she couldn’t go to him, but she really didn’t see anyone else she could go to…except that Myrmidon from before. She quickly rushed up to her pleading, “Please, you have to snap the little guy out of this. Virgil doesn’t hold back to anyone. He’s even beaten guys who looked tougher than any of you to near death.” The Priest then dropped to her knees. “I’m begging you. I don’t want to see it happen again.” DragonMasterKrim The archer reached his hand out to the pirate man and used him to prop himself back up. “Thanks,” he responded. “I’m Zachariah Giarman, the man on a quest for the perfect woman.” He turned to notice some accepting Virgil’s challenge. “Seems like there’s always one person who tries this. I never seen anyone even come close to beating him. How long do you think the dwarf will last?”
  13. Well this is a little awkward. Nina wasn't sure what to say after hearing Vivienne's words. While it did help, her worries still overcame those words of encouragement. She about to say something when another girl came up asking about being partners. She froze for a moment trying hard until she finally responded with a quick, "Yes, I'd like being partners with you." Suddenly, Nina turned to the girl who was helping her before now bursting with excitement. "Can you believe it? Someone wants to be partners with me. I'm so happy I just could hug someone right now." She didn't even give anyone a chance to react when she tightly embraced Vivienne with her arms. Perhaps a bit too tightly.
  14. You know, I don't know how it happened either. Probably because he's not like "let's be friends" or "you gotta be nice to your Skarmory." Yeah, I tend to treat Henry's Pokemon as support characters so that most of the attention is on Henry. Usually, I'll describe their cries or what they're trying to say to the other Pokemon. Whenever I use them, it's to get an idea what Henry is seeing hearing such as Pardox's Pi's (imo that'd sound would get rather annoying rather quickly). Actually, that makes me want to bring up an interesting question. Do you guys view your Pokemon as important as the PC or more as side characters?
  15. "Not really proud of that one or anything. Just shows I'm a bit rusty with Rosie." Henry didn't even notice the Delcatty staring directly at Henry's belt. She was focusing on a red and white ball on it. She always wondered how these things worked. She only just slighty tapped thing when it suddenly flung open and released a tiny little Togepi. "Pi?" The sleepy looking Paradox glanced over at Raiza and noticed her holding a little candle in her hand. She loved cuddling so she wondered why Henry wasn't doing the same. She pulled on her trainer's pant leg crying, "PI! PI! PI!" "What is it?" Henry watched the little mon point over to Raiza. He already knew where this was going. "Not now. There are people around." The Togepi just looked at him not reacting. "I'm not doing it. Can't you at least wait five minute?" Suddenly, the Togepi started to get all teary-eyed once more. "Dammit! Alright, I'll do it. I swear to Arceus you're ruining my reputation." He picked up Paradox and watch her get cozy in his arm. Henry then turned his attention back on Raiza. "Sorry. Paradox gets a little needy sometimes. Don't ever try catching a younger 'mon. They're more hassle than they're worth. Anyways, the reason I'm so bothered by it is that my training has fallen way behind especially thanks to this one. It's a miracle I even have tricks up my sleeve this time around."
  16. ...I'm just going to be honest with this. I'm terrible with names. Anyways, I'm perfectly fine with partnering with anyone. (Considering I'm playing as a PC in a different RP like Layla, I know exactly how to annoy befriend her). For right now though, it's probably going to be the Misadventures of Nina: Partner Drama.
  17. ...I shall partner myself with a God. (Not sure if Typo or actually serious)
  18. Nina was rather shocked at how quickly someone reacted to a freakout and pulled her away from the table. At first, she was speechless only following the girl seeing as she had little choice. She did take a moment to say something to the nice girl. "Thanks for your help, but I doubt I'm going to find one. Even if I did, there's they probably won't like me."
  19. Meh, keep it the post the way it is. We still have plenty of time before a decision needs to be made. (I was actually going to have Nina completely forget and walk away empty handed originally).
  20. I can't believe I just realized Pokespeak (or whatever you call it) is coming back just now. While I'm not against it, it's against my ideals as a writer so I won't ever do it even if you're Pokemon talk to my Pokemon like that. Edit: I'm also keeping Henry away from that bird as long as possible as well. That's one plot point I'm not getting into.
  21. "Huh?" Nina finally snapped out of her little trance. "What was that about a partner?" That last word hit the girl like a truck. "Oh no! I completely forgot I was supposed to be looking for a partner. What am I going to do? What am I going to do?" If the panic in her voice didn't give it away, the quickly twisted back and forth trying to look for someone who was sitting by themselves showed she was anything but calm.
  22. There ya go Huk, one post not about Drake's Emberly's height. I was going to use blaring, but it didn't sound right so I just cowered in to using pretty instead. By the way, I probably would've made Ice silver or clear, but to each his own.
  23. Nina watched as another girl came over to the table. "No, it's fine..." She was then heard another girl and quickly turned around glaring in silence trying her hardest to look at the girl's face. Oh my goddess, that hair is so pretty. Wonder what she uses to shampoo it with? With her focus now on the girl's hair, she'd completely lost focus on Karrin.
  24. I wonder if I should change my Avy back to Setzer.

  25. "What are you talking about?" Nina was a bit puzzled by this girl's words. Then again, things tended to slip her mind quite a bit anyways, but she never could figure out why. "Err...I still don't know what the big fuss is all about. Can't really be that bad, can it?"
