  1. My only guess is that it's supposed to represent Straptor being powerful and a high ranking bird. (But Alucard would totally destroy him).
  2. If it's based off a character from an anime, I think I got it. Otherwise, I have no idea.
  3. It's alright. Just wanted to make sure no one gets left behind. @The outside group: I'm actually okay with letting you guys control this battle if you want since they aren't too important. Otherwise, I'm willing to control the enemies and let you guys do your thing. Edit: What Virgil is using right now is called Sol. While abilities aren't a thing, high ranking members get access to special items (like Virgil's Sol Ring) to do a little extra stuff. Mostly because people don't want their generals dying on the fields.
  4. Exlink and Dragonmasterkrim Zach led the others through the alleyway and into a bigger street. Before anyone could make a move, a fireball was shot over their heads and into the one of the building causing the alley to collapse. Zach didn't bother looking back. His eyes were focused on the caster who wore similar garbs to the fire mage before. The man wasn't alone as four others, two mercenaries, a soldier, and a fighter, stood in front guarding him. "We're outnumbered!" Even though he wanted to run, there was nowhere to go. It seemed they had no choice but to take on the group. "Oi! There they are!" A hefty looking man with a brown beard wielding a bronze axe came charging in from the north. Shortly behind him came a black haired man holding a bronze lance and a rather tall purple haired man wielding a bronze sword. The axe wielding man then noticed Zach and the party. "You guys can fight. Good. Let's get 'em." The three then charged toward the mage and his men. Zach watched as the fire mage began chanting a spell as the book suddenly began to glow. This gave him an idea and quickly turned his head a bit to talk with his comrades. "You two, keep the soldiers busy. I have an idea of how to stop our mage friend over there." Everyone Else As soon as the group got very close to the bridge, a battle began to break out. The two generals charged towards the trio of soldiers. Heizen easily dodge the incoming lance and pierced the man's armor with his own lance watching as he fell to the ground. Virgil, on the other hand, had a grin on his face as the General came at him with full force. The lance simply just bounced right off his armor. "My turn!" yelled Virgil. He raised the Silver Sword up into the sky as the red gen began to glow. Suddenly a yellow aura began to surround the Annean general as he swung his sword at the heavy armored foe. Not only did the sword cut through the armor like paper, but it sent him flying a few feet back on top of a couple of enemies. This gave Virgil the opportunity to run right into the middle of the enemy army. He was so confident, he did even budge when one of the enemy swordfighters tried cutting through his exposed sword arm. Not only did it stop upon reaching his skin, but it didn't even draw blood. Virgil simply laughed as he impaled the man watching him die on the ground. "So, who's next?" Some of the weaker units became very intimidated seeing no hopes of even scratching him. The two Mercenaries from before noticed the group from before was closer and charged towards them. Shortly behind them was a fighter, a soldier, and an archer ready to pick off these weaklings.
  5. Yeah, I'm pretty satisfied with our checks and counters. I have zero doubts something like this will come up again though as the fighting style is a hybrid of the anime and the game, but with it's style with the combo system. Also, not too into Hyper Beam (or Outrage for the matter). Likely we might want to give it a buff seeing as only a very small handful can use it effectively, especially with how vulnerable the user becomes. @Dobby: I pretty much have all my team movesets memorized so I don't use that fancy word or google docs stuff.
  6. That Reminds me of Cacturne who I was originally going to use for the Sandstorm Team Name: Gumbo (Male) Ability: Sand Veil -Sucker Punch -Needle Arm -Dynamic Punch -Power-Up Punch -Destiny Bond -Double Team That right there is what we call a broken as hell Pokemon. I didn't drop it because it was broken, but because I wanted to use a different Grass type. There are a couple of checks against this thing such as an AoE (attack on everyone). AoEs also work against teleporting mons as well.
  7. Surge, I was talking more about singles then doubles (in those, almost anything can be checked). Priority moves and Protect seem fair enough and I guess could counter it since a lot of Pokemon have access to those. Truthfully, I'm not worried about you abusing it, but I'd rather beat the subject now and stop a very deep mess somewhere down the line should someone else want to use the move.
  8. So you're saying I'm going to have to buy forty ice cream (le sigh). It's a good thing I found all those vitamins to sell then.
  9. I still think being able to combo with it is going to be a major problem. Especially with Psychic types, it's going to be almost always a guaranteed victory when you can attack after teleporting. Surge, if you can find ways to where your opponent could win against the strategy, I'd be okay with that. I already had to open this can of worms when nerfing confusion (it was basically a weaker Psychic in the anime).
  10. It's way better than protect actually. The issue I see with that move isn't only escaping, but being able to move right behind the enemy mon and get a free hit. The other issue is powerplaying as someone could make a really cool strategy and teleport could completely ruin it. That's why I said the Pokemon should be stunned.
  11. "Damn. If the ice floor tactic going around wasn't annoying enough. Looks like I'll have to get a feel for the field before sending him in." He entered the stadium once more looking over to the hosts. "Let's see what you got in store." He held out a Poke Ball in the air and began tossing it up and down waiting for Danielle to get out there.
  12. A move is as broken as you'd make it out to be. I'm going to treat teleport like Mewtwo's in Smash Bros Melee. The move can warp you anywhere on the field, but you're stunned for a moment after the move (which basically means your opponent gets a free attack...or move). Before you say that it's worthless like that, it's still very, very useful, but you can't just spam it to get out of every situation.
  13. I think we were all expecting to move on pretty shortly which is why there's not much interaction. 8 NPCs is a big number already so I don't necessarily think having more would really increase conversation (there's already 28 choices whenever we move to an area...but that's just one to one). When we move to a new area, convos will pick up (also, why you no respond to me?)
  14. Honestly, I probably never would've guessed that in forever. I've actually never acquired blue moon ice cream before, but it looks like I don't have much of a choice. To the vending machines.
  15. Could've sworn it was still there in at least 13 (it was just locked). This isn't the time to be arguing about that though. I'm actually trying to find where Eagleby quoted Ame from just to make sure this isn't a wasted effort. Can't find it anywhere though.
  16. Kind of waiting on Rubyheart to see if she wanted to post something before moving on (usually I'll give a week before doing anything). I'll update the main group tomorrow or Sunday. The only reason I try to continously update the Zach group is because there's not much I can cut from it. Speaking of that, I guess I should explain something. In some chapters, I'll be dividing the group. The main group basically fights and kills enemies making their way to the boss. The other group usually has a side objective that can range to quite a variety of things.
  17. I've noticed that there have been a couple little changes such as the door is now gone in Coral Ward. We might have to look hard because it could also be hidden behind something like how that one building in Beryl Ward used to be. (Also, check book cases just in case).
  18. I've tried looking in every nook and cranny from Agate to Ametrine, but it doesn't seem like there's a second one in the newer areas. I'll try the Apophyll region tomorrow.
  19. I'm going to fly solo for a little bit. I'll tell you guys if I find anything.
  20. Well I have the save file posted here. My idea was that Tauros might be able to access the cave down south on Route 2, but it was removed (I don't know when). Still coming up with places to look.
  21. Really wish I could help with finding it. (I need someone with RPG maker to fix my save). Tanzan Cave is a really good place to hide one (a dratini was hidden there). It would be far from easy to find and we'd probably need 3-4 people looking through the area (cause again, might be invisible and not detected by the Itemfinder).
  22. Someone want to try Chrysila Forest (I know that's horribly mispelled) and the areas around it. Maybe one of the NPCs offer Beedrill's Megastone there.
  23. Maybe you need another Pidgeot nicknamed Bird Jesus Anyways, I tried looking for exploits for Tauros on Route 2...but even the cave is gone there. I figured the places where the maps were changed would be the first places to look since Ame did have to redo quite a bit on them.
  24. That's a very interesting thought (I have plenty of blast powder and spots to use it so I could try it). I would be able to do it...but I'm stuck. Just for an FYI I found nothing on Route 2 and the lower half of Ametrine Mountain.
  25. I was searching in Route 2 going south when I noticed a Random item appearing on the island again. Curiously, I tried getting to it, but one of the rocks trapped me. So far no luck though (they also might be invisible).
