    @Exlink: Here's my recommendation to replace Staraptor: Volbeat/Illumise. Before you turn me off, you kind of want a Pokemon to reflect Slade's personality. That's quite a difficult task considering he's two different people in battle and outside. Volbeat kind of feels like an optimistic Pokemon who's a bit laid back, but in battle Prankster can turn this thing into a powerful monster. If you don't want to go that way these one might suit you better: Ufezant or Throh As for number two, I'd go with Vileplume, but I'd rather see a wild one. I recommend Xem more mostly because having Espeon means Trevenant would be more of a burden than help. As for having one from the wild, it'd show he doesn't have a hatred towards grass types (or overcame it) rather than just accepting one he knew.

    Dude, irl, I'm always the last one to be picked for just about anything. That doesn't mean it's always a bad thing (though there was one time where there weren't enough girls so I had to dance with a guy...I'm getting off topic). Just be patient and you'll find one eventually one way or another. Don't worry about finding a partner and try to enjoy the RP best you can. Everything will settle out eventually.

    Henry heard Danielle calling back to him. Knowing Danielle, she was probably going to tease him about the battle, maybe to make him feel better. He really didn't want to hear it though as he had other more important things to attend to. Even if he wanted to ignore her, she'd undoubtedly persist to speak with him so there was no point in ignoring her. Without even turning to face the girl, he simply responded, "Whatever it is, make it quick. I'd rather not waste my time on worthless matters."

    The only leaders that died are ones that died in real life. Correy, the original Poison Gym Leader, committed suicide by jumping off a bridge IRL. Kiki, the original Fighting Gym Leader, died of cancer iirc. I'm not going to say what's going to happen to Amaria, but if you do a little research, it won't be too hard to figure out.

    Amaria has been the only water Gym Leader and Titania has been the only steel gym leader on the three seasons of the League. Yeah, neither of them are going to die.

    Before the Night Shade could land, a red beam engulfed Burrows and sent him back into his Poke Ball. Henry knew the battle was over so there was no point in continuing. Silently he turned around and made his way back to the break room. While he didn't enjoy the thought of getting knocked out of the tournament early, there wasn't much he could do. What he was focused on now was healing up Burrows.

    It's about the halfway point. You'll know when you get their as strength is kind of a big deal.

    Chim, stop giving me ideas. I'll probably just have him run around in regular form while at the Academy, but whenever they go on trips and such, he'll be in that form. Besides, Burrows would be the one to carry it, not Henry if I did that. Edit: I may not have had any battle music, but this is what I was listening to when making those last few posts.

    Figured she'd try escaping sooner or later. Henry saw the incoming Night Shade hit Burrows. "Burrows, Rapid Spin now." The Drilbur followed orders as he began spinning around faster and faster showering the field with mud. Henry was prepared for it this time as he took a step back to get out of the danger zone. When the attacked finished, he was ready to give another order. "Burrows use..." He cut off the sentence when he noticed Burrows fell to his knees with his hands keeping him propped up. If I use another attack, he's going to collapse. Looks like Danielle might've won this battle. Henry looked around to see what happened to the bird.

    Hey Chim, would it be okay to have Rotom be able to circulate from his Normal Form into a certain form, but none of the other forms after that point. If I have to use only 1 specific form in battle I'd be fine with that, but I kind of prefer Rotom's normal form when not in battle. @Azery: I had a planned moveset for Jellicent so if you want it I can share it.

    "Again," Henry ordered. Burrows looked back to his opponent who seemed to move a bit slower than before. While Avis was right about to fire, Burrows jumped back a bit and slammed his foot into the ground once more causing to earth to shake (Bulldoze). Though it was risky, Henry couldn't take the chance of Avis being able to take off. The Drilbur's Claws began to glow again while he charged forward taking the Dark Pulse. Something felt weird though. While the attack certainly hurt, it wasn't quite as bad as he was expecting. Burrows mind quickly recalled when Avis hit him with the Aerial Ace. Seemed Henry learned a new trick during the battle. Once he was back in range, he was prepared to strike the Murkrow down (Metal Claw).

    I think we discussed this in the 70s or 80s page range (wow that's a long time ago). It can change forms, but once you pick a set form, it'll eventually have to stay that way. And yep, Rotom fits Henry way too much considering his interest in tinkering with machinery to pass up. I already have a name and personality picked out for him.

    I tried getting into Earthbound, but it's kind of weird and hard to get used to. Mother 3 on the other hand I fell in love with.

    While Avis was busy examining the hole, Burrows had resurfaced from the ground. Danielle likely didn't see him because he was behind the tree and she was crouching. Henry took no time to waste for this opening. "Bull, Claw." He ordered. The Drilbur knew this combo well so he already pounded his foot on the ground. The shaking caused the hole to quickly collapse preventing Avis's attack from hitting (Bulldoze). Burrows wasn't done yet. While the ground was still shaking, he charged towards the bird his claws glowing (Metal Claw) and was ready to take a swipe at the bird.

    Overrated =/= hate. I actually love a lot of square games with FFV and FFIX being two of my favorites. Square used to be the Juggernaut of RPGs at one point. Since we're on the subject, I actually prefer Bravely Default more. It took everything from FFV and made it better. Hopefully the sequel will fix the problems in the first game. I thought of another one. Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. As much as I love that game, it really overshadows Majora's Mask which I felt was the better game. (Seriously, that game deserves more recognition than it got).

    It was nice knowing you man. Well, Square games in general are overrated because when people talk about rpgs they usually just mean their games. I really shouldn't being saying that considering my avatar pic.

    I'll change that little detail, but he's still going to hit that tree. The rest should still be relevant. Edit: Since I don't want to double post, I've been suffling the team around and replaced Manectric and Jellicent with two different Pokemon. Manectric is going to be replaced by Rotom even though I think Darklight wants one (sorry but it works way too well for my team design to pass up), but I'm keeping Jellicent's replacement a secret for now.

    Henry saw Avis try hitting Burrows with the Dark Pulse, but he wasn't even fazed by the attack. Burrows always took a slightly curved path when diving, so he doubted Burrows even know about it. After a few seconds, Henry heard a loud cling seeing one of the trees harshly shake. Not again. Hmm, this might actually be useful for me. "Burrows, use Mud Sport right now." Burrows didn't follow orders instead yelled back a couple cries to Henry because he thought this was a terrible idea. The trainer was a bit annoyed by the act of rebellion. "Your supposed to follow my orders, not question them." The Drilbur griped a bit about his trainer's stupidity, but he followed them anyways spinning a moment to cover himself with a new coat of mud armor (Mud Sport).

    Exlink The soldier wielding an Iron Lance saw the incoming dagger and was able to step out of the way in time. He readied his lance towards the thief, unaware of the incoming fighter who beheaded him with one quick swing. The bearded man turned to the thief. "We took care of that one, didn't we?" One of the Mercenaries saw this and darted towards him. When his sword was close enough to lunge through threw his heart, he pulled his sword back ready to attack. Dragonmasterkrim The fighter saw through this attack and was able to escape his death, only feeling the tip slash through his stomach. The pain was there, but stood firm on his two feet. Seeing an opening, he raised his axe up and swung it towards this one eyed mercenary. Zach and the Others The purple haired man engaged one of the mercenary as the two crossed weapons one not being able to strike the other. He waited for his partner to finish him off, but from the corner of his eye, he noticed the man rushing to one of the nearby houses. He rolled his eyes and continued lunging his lance forward in hopes of taking the man down. "I don't respect cowards. You'll be the first to die." The Fire Mage focused his attack on the fleeing man. When he was about to attack, an arrow pierced through his book causing a flame to gush out and hit his face. He quickly covered his face with his hand and threw the fire into a nearby building. It didn't do too much as the building was already on fire. Whew, that was lucky. Zach thought to himself as he readied another arrow. He didn't know what would happen if he attacked the book, but he wasn't going to let anyone know that. He had a reputation to uphold...for the ladies at least.

    Just a heads up before anyone enters panic mode. Huk's going to be controlling the fight happening outside the town. I'm a little bit busy right now and this should help move things along a little bit fast. Exlink and Dragonmasterkrim, I'm still controlling yours. With that cleared up, you are free to panic because I just gave Huk the power to teleport anyone.
