  1. Actually, I think Audino is good where it's at. It's an underrated tank, but heal pulse in doubles might be a little bit problematic (then again, some of those candy items kind of do the same thing). I think the reason it's so rare and hard to find is to stop EXP abuse grinding. Stantler also has to compete with Bouffalant, Tauros, and Miltank so it's never going to get any use. The only other thing I'd really ask for is more of a variety of Water types at the start. Seriously, we only get about 3 options to start with and one of them kind of breaks Julia. (And Drowzee, but then everybody would be picking the Pedo).
  2. I kind of think Seel would be good to move back. It's not necessarily the strongest, but it'd compete pretty fairly with the other water types available. And YES to Drowzee. Hypno is a very underrated tank and would be great for even pre-Corey. Edit: Besides Likitung, Swellow, and Claydol, I really see no point in pushing any of the rest of them back.
  3. Ponyta is definitely put in a spot where it belongs being obtainable before Shelly. Clauncher is really good and outclasses a lot of water types available early on like Seaking. You know what Pokemon got the short end of the stick. Deerling. That Pokemon is about only good for taking down Luna's Tyranitar before going back to the box. I can't justify putting him back any further because just about any leader (maybe even Shade) would eat him alive. Bring Samson and Charlotte into the equation and you got yourself a death fodder Pokemon.
  4. Most of the Pokemon available in that and the sections around are kind of forgotten. First few that come to mind are Girafarig, Furfrou, Combee, Tyrogue, etc.
  5. So to get back on track, Route 1 has a lot of potential Pokemon that could be moved back.
  6. I don't think it's too far-fetched either. Selling the item was my clever way of making Torchic a bit harder to obtain over the other pokemon considering it's the strongest. Actually, I just want to see someone wanting Torchic to go into a complete rage. Seeing as they wouldn't have enough money.
  7. I like this idea. I really like this idea. And for Torchic, it'll cost 3,150 meaning you'd have to sell you're potion to the ice cream vendor outside before entering the grand hall. Maybe by picking a certain Pokemon it'd trigger something to do with the Department Store with picking the top tier Pokemon meaning we wouldn't have access to it until post game, but picking one of he weaker starters we'd have access right away and so on (that wouldn't be too hard to program, would it?).
  8. Seriously, I'm getting sick of seeing stuff about Talonflame. It's annoying enough he floods OU, I really don't want to see him flooding Reborn just yet. (We all had to wait months and for some a year for our favorite 'mon to be implemented so just suck it up and get over it). The ones in bold I agree with. There are reasons why I didn't bold some, but giving them all will take a while (I will if I have to). As for the starter thing, it might just be a good idea to remove the gamebreaking ones such as Blaziken, Greninja, and Infernape leaving a funny message relating to out of stock or something. (If you want to be cruel, make an amiibo joke out of it...because rare ones are impossible to find). I rarely had money struggles except when trying to complete the Pokedex. Without those pokemon, people might broaden in choices to Pokemon like Blastoise (who is a freaking boss) to go through the game. Removing those OP one should let people choose want difficulty they want to play, but still challenges them to some degree.
  9. SEVER IS BACK UP! YAY!

  10. Oh thank god! The site came back up for me. For a moment there, I thought I was going to have to do something productive today.

  11. I think we're missing the elephant in the room when looking at Talonflame. Yes, would could debate whether or not it'd be useful in the early game or not, but when compared to the other birds, it completely outclasses them. (Speaking of birds, can we move Swellow back a bit.) If Talonflame was available in let's say Ep 3 or 5, he'd be quite easy to train and everyone would use him due to him being the best flying type available eclipsing the rest of them. I'm done arguing though because I stand for Talonflame being available in 15 or 16.
  12. Yeah, I kind of agree with getting a certain amount of money for picking a certain pokemon. I'd be best to start everyone at zero and give people a certain to sell for money. If you pick something like Torchic, you'd get a Poke Ball or nothing, but if you picked something like Chikorita, you'd get a Star Piece. Money is very hard to get early in the game so if you limit it, it'd certainly turn people away from picking uber strong Pokemon. As for Talonflame, really people? I've nuzlocked with a Flame Body one and it was pretty broken and untouchable at certain points. Maybe I'd say okay in Ep 15 or 16, but not early. That priority Brave Bird is like saying Speed Boost Blaziken's High Jump Kick is not game breaking. Yes, in the long run it wouldn't be as effective, but I see too many Gyarados like solutions with that thing.
  13. Zeph, the only reason I rebuilt my team is because I needed to make a team that'd work with and without Skarmory. Because of this, I had to pick a certain Pokemon (it'll be my Mega if I don't get Skarmory) and drop Jellicent seeing as it'd give me too many weaknesses. After dropping Jellicent, Manectric wasn't as good of an option so I needed to find a Pokemon who was a bit of a hybrid of both which is why I picked Rotom. (I'm not telling you who the new water type is though...if you guess it on the first try, I'd be impressed). As for Cherrim, her spot has been shuffled around so many times, but almost always she was the best option...until now which is why I'm going to pick Lilligant since I considered using her many times.
  14. Henry was relieved Danielle left him alone rather quickly. While he felt she knew a little too much, there wasn't a point in trying to stop her. It didn't seem like she knew too much so there was no point in taking any action. He watched Danielle leave as he headed into the break room and sent out Burrows who was still exhausted from the fight. After Henry sprayed him with a Super Potion though, he felt good as new. He then sent out Rosie and Gypsy so that he could give them the news. "The shows over. We lost." Henry's words seemed to get to Gypsy as she kicked a piece of trash in frustration. All that time they spent working on that one move and she didn't even get to use. Rosie frowned a bit from the news, but she reverted to her usual optimistic self knowing she'd have more time to play with Paradox now. Burrows was a bit relieved seeing as Henry might lay off on the hard training for a while. He was getting sick of being nailed by Gypsy's Psybeams. Well at least they're taking it better than I thought. Henry thought to himself. There was still quite a handful of things Henry needed to do. The most important thing was to pick up Paradox from Raiza. Since he lost, there really wasn't a reason he couldn't keep her on hand. There was also his room key that was still missing. "Rosie, go get my room key from Robert. I doubt he needs it anymore." He figured the Decatty was more than capable of completing this task as he watched her run off. He himself was about to run out of the room when he realized he still had a bit of mud on his face. He made his way to the sink to get the dirt off his face finally.
  15. I've got a better idea. Make it so that the top tier starters can't get their hidden ability unless by an egg. IE Froakie can't get Protean, and Blaziken can't get speed boost if that's possible. That'd certainly make people want to use other Pokemon.
  16. Surge pretty much has the right idea. I don't want to say too much (and no he's not supportive of RoG)
  17. Henry had a feeling this question was coming, but he wasn't ever going to be straightforward. "No, he has told me little as I know it's best not to pry into people's lives and especially their secrets. You can call it more of a hunch than anything." Henry felt that'd be the best way to answer, but truthfully, it was the water stone that gave him the answers. "Now, will that be all?"
  18. Oh it is so fun trashing that evidence you work so hard to collect. I even have something in case you keep diving into that third party idea.
  19. Henry sighed seeing how naive Danielle was on the issue. He figured it'd be easy to play with their minds a bit. "Don't worry about the Mareek thing. I'll deal with that later. As for what you said, you're unreasonably jumping all these things together. I highly doubt neither Evan nor his Skarmory are responsible for Ryan's death. Despite his attitude, he's a good kid and wouldn't turn on anyone. And as long as it's under a trainer's control, that Skarmory isn't going to randomly attack someone. Besides, the future is never clear so messing with it will only make the inevitable more likely to come." Henry took a breath before responding to the second half of Danielle's information. "As for Evan keeping secrets, can you really blame him? The thing already has flooded school with rumors, just imagine how much worse they'd be knowing it was a gift. I'd probably lie to in his situation. And what's the big deal about having an unknown Pokemon. He's probably just embarrassed about it kind of like me and Paradox. If she didn't try escaping from her ball so much, I'd keep her hidden inside her ball whenever I was in public. If that's all you have to say, I'll be on my leave." The boy was about to make his leave, but he felt like he needed to say one last thing. "You really shouldn't be talking so bad about Evan. The boy has enough problems as it is, he doesn't need people like you ruining his life. It's probably just best to forget about the matter for the time being."
  20. Azery, I'm just going to say it, but I'll be using all five forms of Rotom throughout this first to mid second year so it might be hard to differentiate yours from mine or try to let it stand out (and he has a very...interesting personality) until really late. He's actually going to be on my team ASAP due to this.
  21. Oh I'm not against moving Pokemon around at all as I usually don't go for the super strong Pokemon anyways (Emolga is freaking amazing against Noel). I'm already working on a way to make Reborn a bit harder based on how a played on the older episodes. One Pokemon I'd like to see back early is Chinchou, but post Shelly. I didn't realize how good this thing was going to be against a couple leaders like Kiki. Shoving all the way to Ep 14 makes this thing completely worthless and not even worth spending time to grind up.
  22. "Damn you Mareek," Henry muttered under his breath. As much as he wanted to walk away right then and there, he had little option but to stay and try to rid of this little obstacle. "That's...really kind of out there, wouldn't you think. What I'm puzzled about is why you're so concerned for the boy. Aren't you two bitter enemies right now?"
  23. Cherrim is the tankiest of the three like I said being able to take super effective hits pretty well. And yeah, I do have quite a lot of frail Pokemon on my teams, but that wasn't intentional. When I pick a Pokemon, it's usually based off of a couple things like covering a certain weakness as well as how many other Pokemon it can work well with in battle. (I already have Paradox...and maybe Skarmory. I don't really need that many more tanks). I think I'm going to go with Lilligant considering I don't have much for contests.
  24. Just for kicks, which of these grass types should I put in my reserve slot (though it's more of a rotation than a reserve). No. 1 No. 2 No. 3
