Hello, gentle denizens of the much-ravaged internet. The age is long and dark, and little end is in sight. Nothing I have to say can change that for you. But I do have a small update to a video game which can maybe help keep the ennui at bay. Will you accept that? no, no new gens sorry not sorry Today's update is a long time coming, having been forged by our hard at work new team under the capable management of enu, plus some not insignificant help from generous benefactors and patricians of talent within the community. Much love to you all. The focus of this update is primarily on quality of life improvements; it is not a content update. Legacy 19.0 downloads are available on the download page for those seeking to play with older mods. But if modding is your thing, please consider checking out enu's new suite of mod tools, available here: https://github.com/enumag/eevee/releases And if you are experienced with modding or game dev and the idea of helping out sounds good to you, please consider checking out the community cooperation initiative and maybe applying! Anyway, have some changelog. It is not complete, because no list of words can ever equate to the monumental amounts of work the team has put in. But it does have some neat Tidbits. And finally, some parting notes on updating, including a list of places that you probably don't want to update. And by "you probably don't want to update" I mean "we definitely don't want you to update there" and "if you do that and break your game and then complain to us, we will throw metaphorical tomatoes at you". Okay. Downloads are on the download page. We'll have more for you in the future. Not more story content... The game's done. But we're still cooking, and fam we got some Chefs up in here. Much love, have fun... stay safe out there. You dressed warm, right? Did you bring a snack? Okay. Just checking... Until next time.34 points

After 4 months of work (and a year since the first version released), LAWDS version 2.0 is finally done! LAWDS is a difficulty/enhancement mod for Pokemon Rejuvenation aimed to provide a challenging yet satisfying journey through the Aevium region. With multiple difficulty modes, adjustments to Pokemon, and universal changes, LAWDS offers a fresh, original, and challenging Pokemon experience. If you read more and like what you see here, make sure to join our Discord server (linked at the bottom) for updates! Difficulty Overhaul Every single major battle in the game has been heavily reworked to be much more difficult. Other throwaway battles have been retooled into challenging fights, populating the game with many more bosses than in vanilla. These fights are designed to be challenging, memorable, and flavorful, having great variety in Pokémon and fields while staying true to the story and lore of Rejuvenation. Mon Reworks & Custom Crests LAWDS features Pokemon from Gen 9 not available in vanilla. Additionally, every Pokemon has been adjusted in some way, providing new ways to strategize and construct your teams. These changes come in the form of: type changes, moveset additions, different abilities, custom crests, and even full on reworks for some of Pokemon’s forgotten few. Learnsets have been designed with new level caps in mind to create a feeling of smooth, continuous progression throughout the entire game. Battle Mechanics With enhanced difficulty and more engaging gameplay in mind, many battle mechanics have been adjusted for the better. Abilities (as well as moves and items) that were underwhelming or frustrating in the vanilla game have been made more useful, balanced and fun. A handful of original moves and abilities have also been added, enabling new strategies. Custom Aevian Forms We've added several brand-new Aevian forms, each located in a specific part of the region. Each one of these forms gets a completely unique signature move or ability, as well as beautiful custom sprites. Definitely consider using them! Extras We've made heavy changes to many of the game's fields that make them more enjoyable to battle on using a wider range of strategies, adding more variety to battles. These range from adjustments in specific mechanics to revamps of a field's identity. Finally, most fights in LAWDS feature Pulse-3 Pokemon, which have all of their abilities active at once. You'll also be able to find Pulse-3 Pokemon of your own hidden throughout the region! That's all I wanted to cover in this post. Again, join the Discord server to download the mod and stay up-to-date! 08-26-2025 Dev Blog Firstly, sorry for the 3 month delay in posts. Pretty much everyone has been extremely busy with either school, work, or other circumstances, and I myself have been utilizing pretty much every free hour I have to work on story development. For this post, we will be going over some more collab information with Vanguard, a redesigned Aevian form, and some pretty important information on the future of development. Starting with the collaboration, as you probably already saw today in the Discord. Almost a year ago, we announced a collaboration with Pokemon Vanguard, where we traded forms from both projects, as well as added a custom sidequest, and protagonist from Vanguard into Overseers. I am glad to announce that we are once again collaborating, and adding more content to both projects. Project Vanguard will be implementing Aevian Thievul, and Aevian Swanna (known as Overseer Forms in Vanguard) Overseer Files will be receiving Ayreian Hatterene, a Bug/Dark type form. (I don't have art so I'm stealing your banner Ayrei) This form will be available from an exclusive sidequest within the Overseer Files mod. Overseer form locations in Vanguard are to be determined. Continuing on with our redesigns, we have another form redesign to showcase. This form being Aevian Deerling, and Sawsbuck. While Deerling itself hasn't drastically changed too much, Sawsbuck has received a glow up, and is looking fancier than ever. Thank you Omens for the art & redesign. Typing, statline, and moveset will not be changed, this is purely a design overhaul. > Now for probably the most important part of this post, so please read. < To start, when I started Overseer Files, I didn't expect it to grow as large as it was, or contain an overly fleshed out story that we have in the works. Its intended release time was supposed to be a few months, if not a little bit longer. As you can see, that didn't happen! And we are now a year and a half into development. It has been in discussion lately on how we want to handle releasing the mod with how development is going. As mentioned previously, a lot of us have been extremely busy. I myself, am working 5-6 days a week, and 40-45 hours, on closing shifts. I go to work at 11:30am, and come home at 8:00pm, almost every day. Needless to say, I don't have a whole lot of time with these hours! And my job will fire me if I change them (pretty cringe). So! We have devised two solutions, and are leaving it up to the community to decide how to handle releasing the mod. Below will be two options, each with pros, and cons, and a poll you can vote on. Additionally, you can leave a comment if you'd like. If you say anything mean, I'll just delete your vote, and pretend you don't exist. As of now, we have guaranteed that the story for both Paragon, and Renegade, will be split into 4 Acts. 3 main acts, and a postgame. You all have the choice to determine if we release all 4 Acts at once, or split it into 2 parts (Act 1 & 2 for Part 1, Act 3 & Postgame for Part 2). Pros of 1 Part release -Experience the full story and postgame all in one go -Every sidequest, feature, etc. planned for implementation will be present at launch Cons of 1 Part release -Will release much later than a 2 parter release, an ETA cannot be feasibly provided at this time -Later public feedback of cNPC dialogue, fights, navigation etc. -Far more demanding of retained audience hype, which is unreliable given the premise of Overseer Files is a mod within a fangame. As for 2 Part Pros of 2 Part Release -Experience half of the full story sooner -Access every currently revealed Aevian sooner -Earlier public feedback into cNPC dialogue, fights, navigation etc. -Much sooner release expectancy and an ETA public release of 2026 post v14 can be provided -Every cNPC up to tier 3/4 will be fight-able by the end of Part 1 Cons of 2 Part Release -Public/Beta testing periods would effectively have to happen twice, which can drag out all-around dev time -Non-required sidequests planned to be included in the full release will be absent in part 1 -Other miscellaneous features and additions will likely be absent from being obtainable in part 1. Such as boss rematches, certain planned areas, and etc. You may vote on this Google form. There is no set end date at this time for voting. We mainly want to hear what the community has to say. https://forms.gle/SBKGARHKJ27nRurZ7 Now that that's done, have some various screenshots from the Paragon story as a little treat for reading all of that. And finally, as per usual, the next Aevian form reveal Aevian Houndour / Houndoom Art & Design by Chrys Ground / Fairy Type Houndour: They are difficult to spot in their natural desert habitat, since they camouflage easily and are adept at creating illusions. Houndoom: Aevian Houndoom haunt the ruins they used to protect, misleading intruders with their illusions. The sand that makes up Aevian Houndoom's body is said to bring restful sleep. This concludes the post Please check out the poll, as it will really determine how we handle development, and releasing the mod. Also check our Discord for further updates, teasers, and other info. Heyo! Rejuvenation has a lot of custom assets, and we're more than happy to share them with others so they can serve as a base for other people's projects! However, not everything can be used freely. A certain amount of the custom assets were specifically made for use in Rejuvenation only, and we'd like to keep it that way. We've been getting the question quite frequently lately about what can and cannot be used for people's own projects as it's not fully clear on all fronts, so I decided to put together a comprehensive guide on the matter so you can always check what you can and cannot use! IMPORTANT NOTE: Usage of assets in mods for Reborn and Desolation as well as mods for non-Pokémon games is fine, as long as it is used in a context that involves Rejuvenation specifically and isn't passed off as anything else. It is also fine to use the original tracks in videos as background music, as long as it's not a standalone upload of the song. Usage of any and all assets in the game for mods made specifically for Rejuvenation is completely fine and does not need special permission. Please credit the Rejuvenation Team if you decide to use any of our assets. Thank you! -------------------------------------------------------------------- Field effects Fully free to copy and use. Audio/Music LIMITED USE: The following tracks are not allowed to be used in other fangames: All tracks listed here were custom made for the game (or were given explicit permission to exclusively be used in Rejuvenation) and therefore are not to be used in other fangames. Everything else is free to copy and use. Animations The End Of Night animation is not allowed to be directly copied/used in other games. This one speaks for itself. The assets for it are found in the Characters folder but it counts as an animation—Everything else is fully free to copy and use. Tilesets/Autotile Fully free to copy and use. We do however highly recommend creating your own assets for these in the long run to give your game more of its own unique identity. Battle system LIMITED USE: The things related to the battle system that you aren't allowed to copy over to other games are: The battle UI This includes the boss hp bars—please make your own graphics for this. The shields/type bar is fine to copy over. Moves unique to Rejuvenation (i.e. Arenite wall, Desert's mark etc.)—though this is mostly in name only (see Crests on our stance on the matter.) Ideally you don't use the same move animation as the ones in Rejuvenation either for moves that are just renames, but it's not really a requirement. The exception to this is Cthonic Malady and the petrify effect—we'd like to keep this exclusive to Rejuvenation if possible. Rejuvenation-exclusive custom Pokémon (i.e. Aevian Forms, Rift Pokémon, Karma Beasts, etc.) Field effects are fully free to copy and use. Battlebacks LIMITED USE: The battle backgrounds that aren't allowed to be copied over to other games are: Cave battle backgrounds Forest battle backgrounds Zeight battle backgrounds Grand Dream City battle backgrounds Beach battle backgrounds Blacksteeple battle backgrounds School battle backgrounds Colosseum battle background Concert field backgrounds are exempt due to them intrinsically being tied to the Concert field effect having different stages. Everything else is free to copy and use, including the enemy- and player bases. Pokémon sprites/icons LIMITED USE: Rejuvenation-exclusive custom Pokémon (i.e. Aevian Forms, Rift Pokémon, Karma Beasts, etc.) are NOT allowed to be directly copied/used in other (fan)games. Regular/official Pokémon sprites and icons are free to copy and use, including those of newer generations. Character sprites LIMITED USE: Named NPC sprites (VS/Battle/Overworld) are not allowed to be directly copied over to other games. You can use the sprites as a base to work from and edit, but they should be unrecognizable compared to the character they were edited from—so no recoloring a sprite slightly and calling it a day. Generic characters and trainer classes (Battle/Overworld) are free to copy and use. Other assets in the characters folder (Pokémon and objects/animations) are free to copy and use. We do however highly recommend creating your own assets for these in the long run to give your game more of its own unique identity. Fogs Fully free to copy and use. Fonts LIMITED USE: Please do not copy over the Garufan-Regular font to other games. Everything else is free to copy and use. Items LIMITED USE: Crests are not allowed to be directly copied/used in other (fan)games—But we obviously can't and shouldn't stop people from making enhancement items for specific Pokémon since that'd be turbo stupid, so it really is just specifically calling them crests and using the same icons/terminology for that that we'd prefer that others don't use. Use your own unique ideas and assets for them! Maps Maps are not allowed to be copied. Please map your own areas when making your own game. Panoramas Fully free to copy and use—but it's recommended to not use the location-based panoramas... For obvious reasons. Pictures LIMITED USE: Examples of assets in this folder that you are not allowed to directly copy over to other games: All custom character/CG artwork (including the title screens) Battle UI (see Battle System for more info) Character select graphics Intro cutscene graphics Difficulty select graphics There's a lot more that you probably shouldn't copy over, so I won't extend the list too far, but most of it should be pretty obvious that you shouldn't carry these over to other games. The best thing you can do is use your common sense and delete most of the Rejuvenation-specific assets that are in the folder when using Rejuvenation as a base. Windowskins Fully free to copy and use. -------------------------------------------------------------------- If you still have any questions about usage of specific assets, feel free to ask about it below! Good luck with your projects! o77 points

PLEASE MAKE A POST IN THIS THREAD IF YOU HAVE ISSUES WITH ANY OF THESE MODS. I check on discord about once a year, more or less; hence, your best chance to get help from me is to come here, in the forum. (In case you're wondering, SWM stands for "Select Weather Mod": this was its name before it became a modpack, and when it came the time to rename it... I actually didn't ) (Btw I'm not crazy nor that original... it's somewhat of a citation, as this is literally how Trumpkin got his nickname) This modpack is for Pokemon Reborn; if you're looking for a Rejuvenation-compatible version, you can find it here: http://www.rebornevo.com/forum/index.php?/topic/33807-rejuvenation-modular-modpack-v11-patch-3/ You can also find this modpack's files versioned on GitHub: https://github.com/Waynolt/SWM-modular-modpack FAQ "Why is there no longer the mod XXX?" > It's a password in the base game now. "I can't find it in the passwords" > Look better; I've decided to not port a couple of mods, but 90% of the missing ones are in the base game now. Installation Download link: (v94 - updated 16/08/2025) https://github.com/Waynolt/SWM-modular-modpack/releases/latest/download/SWM_modular_modpack_E19.zip The link above will allow you to download a .zip archive. Inside of that archive you will find a "Readme.pdf" explanatory file and a "Mods" folder. To install, just drop the folder "Mods" into the folder "[Pokemon Reborn]\patch\" (At the end you should have a "[Pokemon Reborn]\patch\Mods" folder with a bunch of files inside.) This video from Lostelle explains it, showing each step required (it's a bit outdated - for example the location changed - but it's still good): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6hc3Mo432C0 If playing on a Mac with Wineskin, then, as @Tacos suggests in this thread, do all the modding in a Reborn folder outside of the wrapper and then make a new wrapper with that folder (I have absolutely no idea whether this still applies though) Every component is stand-alone, and can be used on its own; please refer to the "brief summary" below for more info on each one. -------------------------------------------------- Brief summary of each mod component (Please remember to check and delete the components you do not want when you are installing this mod pack!) -------------------------------------------------- Compatibility with other mods Known incompatible mods: Already compatible, no patch needed: Probably compatible, or at least they used to be: If there's any I forgot about, sorry; simply ask about them. -------------------------------------------------- Changelog -------------------------------------------------- For previous Reborn episodes:6 points

The source of this chaos? None other than the dangerous region of Aevium. 02/14/2025 Dev Blog Welcome to 2025! We're a little late... but don't worry! Progress has been moving along smoothly since the start of the New Year, with most forms being finalized, and general important assets near completion. With the progress that we've made so far, we are on-track for release this year as planned. (As long as v14 doesn't ruin EVERYTHING). As for story writing, I am pleased to announce that Act 1 of Renegade has been finished, and is now being internally tested by the development team! So far, the act is around three and a half hours long for story content alone. This does not include in-depth exploration, side quests, and does not factor how long it takes to complete fights. Act 2, 3, and postgame are intended to be longer, so we can definitely confirm that there will be no shortage of playtime. Act 1 of Paragon will be worked on next, and will not take as long to develop as Act 1 of Renegade, due to some eventing overlaps. From there, we will work on Act 2, and Act 3 of Renegade at the same time, and potentially Postgame as well. From there, we will wrap up Paragon, finalize and sidequests, music tracks, and any other outstanding assets, and hopefully get into a full on internal testing, and beta testing. Thank you all for your patience as we develop all of this! We are excited to showcase the story upon release. Now for actual content to showcase, here's come screenshots from around Aeternus's local businesses, and a new Aevian Form. Second cNPC Submissions About a week ago, we announced that people can submit for a second cNPC within the mod (We need more residents) This is still active, and the guidelines for this are posted in our Discord. I won't be going into it too much on this post, as we have everything needed to be mentioned in the announcements channel. And for this posts form, we have: Aevian Salandit / Salazzle Design & Art by IronicOmens Dark, Dark/Fairy Type Salandit: Native to the Voidal Chasm, these creatures are often compared to Murkrow for their similar fascination with shiny trinkets. Salazzle: Experts at navigating the Voidal Chasm, they'll approach lost people and escort them out. However, these people have found themselves absent of any valuables after being guided away from the Chasm. That's all I have for this post. On the shorter side again, but with story writing, we're definitely limited as to what we can share, so I'll see if I can tease some story content next post! Make sure to check our Discord for semi-regular teasers, and out of context stuff that we post. See you all next time! Overseer Files Discord5 points

Humour me. "Madame X" is obviously the big ticket Da Mystery of the game, because her face is hidden from us and she's called Madame X, which is as "My name is a secret it's hidden woooooooooo" spooky name as it gets. This is despite the fact that actually, very rarely do any of the characters even care about who Madame X is under the mask, and there's even more pressing concerns like "What is Team Xen even trying to DO". Frankly, Madame X isn't even the most interesting character (I actually really dislike her first appearance lol), but even despite this she's STILL the big ticket mystery of the game. Despite this, there's a few things that we do know for sure about her. And I'm going to lead with something that some people try to find ways around, but I think there's just absolutely no way around it. Madame X is a Theolia sibling. Period. I do think we know this for sure. Madame X owns Blacksteeple Castle and an Yveltal. She addresses a mysterious "father" in Blacksteeple castle if her Yveltal loses. Melanie is basically Melia. She calls the same Yveltal, in Blacksteeple castle, "father". It's possible to say "Madame X was just referring to a completely different father", but like, no she wasn't. Let's be real. Can we be real here? I invoke the sacred right of a theorizer to say "Come on, man". Come on, man. This isn't the only evidence towards Madame X being a Theolia. She hates Indriad, as we see in literally the first 10 minutes of the game. She likes Maria and wants her to be safe - but can't save her... yet. So she tells her to be safe and wait. Where does her personal investment in those two come from if she's not one of the Theolia siblings? Madame X feels a mysterious "bond" with Melia, that allowed her to know deep down Melia wasn't really dead. Madame X mysteriously quoted Erin, exactly, to Maria. Erin said the "Don't you dare lose hope" lines to Maria, and the only people around to hear it were the Theolia siblings, Indriad, Anathea, annnnd... the Gardevoir I think. Except Alice and Allen and Maria were unconscious at the time, and also I think Alice and Allen had already been tossed into gen 2. So in reality, only FIVE people in ALL of Rejuvenation could've been reasonably said to have heard it. Madame X has a hatred of imprisonment, like on a visceral level. Madame X has an Yveltal in the first place. But Yveltal is Indriad, or at least Indriad is made up of an Yveltal and a Karma program stuffed together. Madame X must wear her armour. She told us this on the Pyramid. She was trying to trick us and pretend to be weak, but the part about wearing her armour was in the Important Yellow Text For When Things Are Really Really Important. We can assume it's true. Nastasia joined Team Xen because she was looking for her friend, which we know is Maria, and there's some implication I think of having even found her? Madame X basically believes existence is a cycle of suffering, which proves that Team Xen is actually a Buddhist Terrorist Cult who's simply following the Four Noble Truths but they replaced the Fourth one about "following the noble eightfold path" with "Just kill everyone until existence gets it right and stops being suffering". Madame X has a real investment in making history follow a certain path, and the power to do that because she has a Mysterious Artifact That Does it... that Melanie also has by the btw. Back in the Kugearen era, she saves Kanon from death, and forces the Interceptor to rewind their death to get it right. Here's something interesting. Madame X, in Chapter 12, is aware the Interceptor is the Interceptor. But she is not aware in Kugearen. Her speech is all about "What the fuck is so special about you?", and she implies strongly that this is something she's done over and over again. I have a suspicion she's basically savescumming until Team Xen wins using Time Travel, and that's necessary because she has to compete against Spacea and Tiempa trying to do the same thing to force the Interceptor onto a certain path Are we familiar with all of that? Good. Because here's something I've brought up before but I don't think people have really properly thought about, and I think it's the biggest clue to getting it right. Madame X made Clear, Kieran, and the Interceptor check up on Talon and make sure he's okay. Nobody ever really talks about this or thinks about it! And yet, isn't this the most out of character shit we've seen from Madame X ever? We know, because we can see in the future segments, that Madame X's plan is to kill everyone everywhere. Ren admits to M2 in his timeline that "Yeah maybe we'll all die but then we'll be reborn". The only people she's ever shown even an ounce of compassion for are Maria, and Pirate Valarie, and that was apparently just a visceral response to seeing people tied up. Everyone else she believes in Murder Forever. She was even disgusted by Melia reversing Melanie's corruption. So why does she have a soft spot for Talon? You know what else? Talon doesn't exist in previous versions of the game except as a totally offscreen character. That's actually an in universe fact. Talon becomes aware of it after Karma gets to him. So there can't even be an actual connection between Madame X and Talon that we could've seen in any of the actual timelines we've actually seen. And Clear actually gets pissed off about this. She basically says she can't understand why "The Master" - who I think by context with Clear, is clearly Madame X - is so invested in Talon. Madame X is well aware that Karma has infected Talon, so it's not about trying to find out about that. Clear becomes aware of it immediately. Clear suggests it's basically out of pure concern for Talon's welfare. Why? The fact is: Madame X, in this timeline, has never ever ever had the opportunity to know Talon ever, and it is in fact impossible since Talon confirms he didn't exist in previous iterations of Aevium. Despite this, Madame X not only knows about Talon, but cares about him? Well, you can only conclude one thing. Madame X isn't from this universe/timeline. I'm actually going to say she's from a fully parallel universe. Huh. Now wouldn't that be random? No, it wouldn't. I've said this before, but think about how Kieran and Clear are Xara and Jean, but from a parallel universe and as robots. Isn't that random? The answer is: No, it's actually vital and probably solves everything. Let's call this other universe the KCEverse, because Kieran, Clear, and Eden are from that universe... but they're not. In fact, neither Kieran, Clear, or Eden ever set foot in the KCEverse. Ever. They were built by somebody FROM the KCEverse. And they're quite clear that they're meant to be versions of the KCEverse's Xara and Jean. Let's call the person who escaped from the destroyed KCEverse The Escapee. Why? What's the point of that? I'm gonna answer that question with a question. What's the point of Madame X caring so much about Talon? Is there any connection between Talon, Xara, and Jean? We're told that the KCEverse was different, but the people were identical. That means that The Escapee (and Eden, for that matter) have versions of themselves in the universe we play. I've posted before about there probably being a big moonbase connection between Kieran and Clear and Variya and etc, but I kind of ended up dodging the ultimate question of who Madame X was, so I think now I can just come to a safe and definite conclusion - Madame X is the Escapee, who is the KCEverse's Erin. Madame X has to be a Theolia sibling. Madame X has to have a connection to the thing Erin explicitly said to Maria. Madame X hates Indriad. Madame X hates imprisonment - and you can infer from that she probably was imprisoned at some point, like, oh, I dunno, Erin? Erin hates Indriad to the point of calling herself The Devil. Got that? No? Let's get into it more deeply. Which of the Theolia siblings lived in Grand Dream City? Erin. Which of the Theolias could've had a chance to know and get attached to Xara, Jean, and Talon enough to care about them that much? Erin. Which of the Theolias could be smart enough to even conceive of getting Kieran, Clear and Eden built? Erin. And before anyone says "Saki could build them", not only is that subject to "Come on, man", it's been debunked by Zumi. Why would Madame X say exactly the same thing to Maria twice? Because they were two different versions of Erin saying it, one not being aware the other said it. Need more proof? When did Erin even debut in the games? 2017 was the release of V9, The City of Mystery. When has Madame X's identity been locked in from? Huh. What an odd coincidence! It's also 2017! Let's quote Zumi. Huh! Why only 2017? Now of course, it could be "Because everywhere else we spoke about it was on a completely different platform that doesn't have logs available"... but this sounds like Zumi went to some effort to confirm the date, and came up with 2017 in the end. See, 2017 is three years after Rejuvenation V1 first came out. It does imply that Madame X didn't have a real identity in those past versions (I believe it honestly). So, think about it - if she didn't, and you know you need a Big Reveal, what kind of Big Reveal for her identity might you come up with? How about "Melia's sister"? Oh, but you can't do that until you introduce a sister for Melia... and so you introduce Erin. Need more proof? Madame X must be a Theolia sibling, and yet people use the part where she said "My mother died trying to protect me" to prove that she wasn't - because Anathea definitely didn't die that way. But that was just the Anathea of the main universe. If Madame X is the escapee, then the fact that the main universe's Anathea died a different way wouldn't matter. There's another big objection. There's nobody that Erin hates more than Indriad, and yet when she loses, she says "Father, I have lost..." which seems to prove she still respects and answers to Indriad, right? No. Madame X still hates Indriad. She makes it clear in the literal first 10 minutes of the game. In fact, she makes it clear she's seen the same events with Maria happen over and over and over. In fact, is there anyone we're aware of that Madame X hates more than Indriad? Madame X has to be a Theolia sibling, but her memory of her mother's death doesn't match up with what we saw of Anathea's death at all. The conclusion is that she witnessed a totally different death than we did (or became aware of a different one), so she must be from another universe. I feel like that's just an unavoidable conclusion. I mean, the very first Maria and Indriad we meet are from a totally different world, because it's post Storm-9 but the Chrysalis manor is still there and hasn't been turned into the Chrisola Hotel yet (Notice how those two places have such similar names and tilesets and locations.) But then again, it may also be a weird pocket dimension, so, not necessarily conclusive. Need more proof? Let's talk about The Escapee. Is there anything else we can know about them? Yes. We found their house. Remember the Kugearen shack? The one with the Rift Matter journal? Let's take a look at it again. One of the things that stands out the most here are the weird, defaced effigies of Anju and Nymiera, but not Vivian. I've seen it suggested that Nymiera was the owner of this house, which honestly can make sense, because otherwise who made those effigies of the Aevium Fighters? Check that out on the blackboards on the house - we have the Garufa logo, and we have the Archetype drawn up. We also have a map of future Aevium, meaning that without a doubt, this house belongs to a Time Traveller. Then there's a journal, left deliberately for someone to find, to give them important information - which is really just a way to get them to do what the journal owner wants. Now, who, exactly, do we know of that constantly monitors this time period to try to get The Interceptor and their allies to do things they want? Spacea, Tiempa, and... umm... I'm forgetting someone... oh yeah, Madame X. By the way, interesting note: The journal owner speculates about whether it's even worth un-rifting Pokemon. I wonder who'd think of something like that? The presence of the angrily stabbed up Aevium Fighter effigies is interesting, but there's something in this house that's much, much, much more mysterious and important. There's a clue in here that's so big that you can't even press A on it, because if it had to offer any kind of description, it would give too much away. Look in the bottom left. Oh, that's odd. We have three sets of... odd, metallic bodies with empty faces, how interesting. And then spread around near them, on the table and on the table next to it, tools that indicate someone working on or building something. Huh. Where else are there three robots built by a mysterious traveller who seems to know everything important? What you can see on the table there are Kieran, Clear, and Eden. This house belonged to The Escapee. There's no doubt about it to me. It was in this house that Kieran, Clear and Eden were built. They were built by someone who understands the Archetype, knows about Garufa Inc, knows about the future, and was subtly manipulating the person they clearly wanted to come into the house to do things in exactly the way they wanted. There's another argument you could make though. Even if this is The Escapee's house, how do we know that The Escapee is Madame X? Kieran and Clear have always been cagey about whether they're part of Team Xen, but they haven't been cagey about answering to Madame X. They're clear on that. Clear calls her "The Master". Is there some second person out there who built Kieran, Clear and Eden but is not their master, and basically bequeathed them to Madame X instead? I'm gonna invoke my right to say "Come on, man." Need more proof? Well you should, because I actually haven't ruled something out - Madame X being either Maria or Melia. So let me address the Maria part - Nastasia joined Team Xen to find Maria. It sounds like recently she may have gotten closer than ever to finding Maria. Why would she need to find Maria if Maria is Madame X? On the one hand, it would be a really easy way to explain why Nastasia has so much trust in Madame X specifically, and it's always been a popular theory with good reason. It's very hard to discount. But does Maria fit the role of The Escapee? Would Maria have a weird, irrational attachment to Talon, Xara, and Jean, and whoever Eden was? Is Maria known for being Smart As Fuck? For hating Indriad more than anyone else? Let's not forget that in the beginning, Madame X says "How long are you going to torment this girl?" or something like that - she definitely refers to Maria as "this girl", as someone separate from herself. But the Maria theory is strong, and I can't really pretend it's not - but I also can't pretend it's nearly as strong as the Erin theory. But Melia's a different story. Melia was meant to go to Grand Dream City - a parallel Melia could've known Xara, Jean, and Talon. Except... we know what an evil Melia looks like, and it doesn't look like Madame X. Madame X is more like an E2 instead of an M2. And Melia isn't stupid, but I think we can confidently rule out her becoming an engineering genius because she told us outright how bad she is at math. Besides, there's a much more important question: Did Melia even exist in the KCEverse? The Melia part of the post Melia's identity isn't hard to solve. Actually, we know that she has to be the previous host of the Zygarde Entity who had the Zygarde part ripped out to be used as a capture device for Maria's soul after Maria died so that the Archetype and the Archetype user wouldn't be completely lost. Simple really! Let's go over the facts. Melia is Maria. Melia is NOT Maria. Melia asserts BOTH of these facts. At the end of Chapter 15, Melia was saying "Somehow I think I've always known I was Maria", and then that something inside of her was telling her "I am not Maria", like, literally in the same cutscene, right next to each other, she says both of these things. Is she stupid? The answer instead has to be "Both of these things have to be true". So how can you be Maria without being Maria? I'll get to that. Melia is 75 years old. Unlike the other Theolias, Melia's body can't handle the Archetype. She's the only one who can't. In fact, Maria can handle it, and doesn't get Genesis Syndrome. Melia can't handle it, and does get Genesis Syndrome. What age would Erin, Alice and Allen show if you threw them in the Garufa machine? Well, the Calamity happened when Maria was like, what, 5? 8? Relative to the present day in Aevium, it was about... 43-ish years ago or something? No matter what math you do, Melia's actual age makes her much older than any of the Theolia siblings. Even if every single year that Erin, Alice and Allen were in the Gen 2 world counted on the Garufa machine, they'd only get to maybe 59 at best. Hold up a sec though! I've been talking like there's four Theolia siblings, but there's actually a fifth - Zetta. Loosely, anyway. He presents himself like he's Melia's Secret Big Brother, but the most interesting thing about him is - like I've pointed out elsewhere - the New Game+ chessboard calls him The Descendant of Zed. Now, that Solosis's ass isn't descended from anyone called Zed, he's descended from Dittos and other Reuniclus-line Pokemon. So the way in which he's the descendant of Zed musn't come from him, but Melia. It's Melia who's the descendant of Zed. Great. Now who's Zed? There are absolutely no clues, whatsoever, outside of the name. But "Zed" is just how British English pronounces the letter "Z". And "Zetta" is just another variation on the letter "Z", but for people who've played TWEWY, which by the way, Zumi has confirmed Jan has played that if the trainer quotes in GDC didn't tip you off. You know what else is associated with the letter Z? Zygarde. Since Zetta is just a fucked up Solosis, that Solosis cannot be descended from Zed. The one descended from Zed is Melia. That means Melia is descended from the original Zygarde host. In fact, I think Melia was in some way an entity that was meant to be the Zygarde host, and had the Zygarde pulled out, so they could be a Maria host. I can't actually go into all of my reasoning here. But let me ask you this: Is Indriad Yveltal? Here are the two answers. Yes. He's the Yveltal. He had an Yveltal shoved into him. He was made to host the Yveltal. Melanie even calls the Yveltal father. No. He's not the Yveltal. He's just the thing that hosts the Yveltal. The Yveltal was the thing that was shoved into him. Even though he's still connected to the Yveltal and it's how he spies, and the Yveltal can be addressed as father. Indriad is actually the thing that's inside Angie that made her a "Theolia" in the first place, the thing that starts going "Essence", and he was somehow ripped out of the Yveltal. Both of these things are true. In fact, it's the only mechanism in the game by which both of these things can be true. Is Melia Maria? Yes. She has Maria's memories. She remembers Anathea talking to them. She says "Somehow I've always known I was Maria". She is absolutely Maria. No. She says "I am not Maria". She's just 'hosting' a captive Maria spirit, whereas previously she'd have hosted a Zygarde instead, and "been" the Zygarde, now she's 'hosting' Maria, which is why she can't handle the Archetype. Both of these things are true. Outside of being a host, what other way is there in the game for both of these things to be true? Oh, and by the way. Yveltal being liberated from Indriad is how Madame X can call it "Father" without a sense of complete shame. I just figured that out then. As a result - it's not clear that Melia would even be Melia in the KCEverse at all! Think about this. Why is it that Madame X apparently has a soft spot for people from Grand Dream City... but none at all for Melia? The moment she sees Melia in Blacksteeple, she tries to kill her. I mean, I kind of think that moment is just stupid, but when you all try to escape, she sends you all flying, and you're all going to literally die if Nim doesn't save the day. And yet Madame X of all people has sentimental feelings about Talon? How does that make sense? It's easy. KCEverse doesn't have a Melia. KCEverse Erin, The Escapee, did not grow up with a Melia. How on earth she got to Grand Dream from 43 years in the past is another question (one with many answers by the way, you think she couldn't become a teacher at Axis High if necessary?), but there's no doubt that she has no real sentimental attachments to Melia. But she does to Maria, and we know that for a fact. It's because Melia is just a vehicle to get to Maria. She doesn't see Melia as her sister at all because she knows what Melia actually is in the first place! And then let me ask you another question - why does Madame X's armour make her weaker? It's kind of interesting how obviously it's themed after that Gardevoir Erin grew up with, but what kind of power could a human have without the armour? Well, given that she's a Theolia sibling, it obviously has to have something to do with The Archetype. I basically buy the theory that it prevents Madame X from overlapping. And if she can be overlapped, it's because she's from outside of this timeline/universe, and so her duplicate must still be out there. And as far as I'm concerned, that rules out Maria, leaving in only Melia and Erin. And like it just is Erin. Come on. TL;DR Madame X is Erin, Melia is a weird Zygarde host that got made to host Maria instead.5 points

Pokemon Reborn has one-thousand, one-hundred, and seventy-nine battles. Now, while a few of these are only available through illegitimate means – such as Tham the Tench Engine and Mr. Meow Mix – and many more are random trainers with no distinguishing features whatsoever, knowing your enemy and knowing yourself can carry you to victory through all of them. About three weeks ago, I decided to start a mono-Bug run, and – inspired by watching Run and Bun videos – wanted to go for as few faints as possible with clear, clean lines. As such, I would need to understand the AI's behavior. However, while the basic information about the AI – it works based off scores for each action it can take – I couldn't find a full document detailing how these scores were calculated anywhere (for good reason), so I (someone with poor reason) decided to make it myself. Anyway, here's a 125 page document detailing the 12676 lines of code that make up the Battle_AI.rb file in the Pokemon Reborn code as of v19.5.26. It's broadly organized into 3 parts: Item AI, switching AI, and move AI, with the vast majority of the doc taken up by move score calculations. I hope it's understandable, please tell me if anything is not, and I damn hope this document helps at least one other person. (Feel free to port this to Google Docs or something, I'm just a "torture myself with Microsoft Office" type of girl). Pokemon Reborn AI.docx4 points

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Hey everyone! This is the last blog post before the release of the game. So for this final blog post I want to talk about some last minute features that got added, well, only 1 really big one. The fast travel. I was unsure if I wanted to add one, and then I was unsure how I wanted to add it, but I think we got a decent way of doing it. As I mentioned previously, after this release, there will be some more patches, bug fixes, pokemon rebalancing, custom shiny sprites, maybe some new additions, from suggestions, to things we put in the back-burner because we didn't find them necessary to add right now. Game is definitely not going to be perfect, but I do want to try to listen to as much feedback as I can (there's a limit to how much Ill listen though lol). This does also mean that I will finally start searching for more people to join the team. Spriters (Trainer and Pokemon), Concept Artists and Coders mostly. But of course theres other roles to fill, it would help a lot. If any of you are interested tell me, though I would prefer you play the game first. Now without further ado, the title of the update! ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ EPISODE 1: AULD LANG SYNE ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ It's your 18th birthday, and you finally have the chance to search for your mother, who's been missing for as long as you can remember. Taking the League Challenge is nothing but an excuse to explore more locations and search far and wide. But you soon find out there are bigger problems starting to ravage the region. You begin to learn of the origin of the Canòrr region as it's known today and the history of its current King and Queen. As the hidden secrets become divulged, the dots to your missing mother connect more and more. A prophecy older than time, ancient inscriptions, a mysterious royal plot, divination, and magic new and old all collide in a clash that shakes everything you have ever known. Join up with new friends and rivals, as you find your way through unprecedented challenges and enemies. Do everything you can to protect the ones you love. Never back down.4 points

I am currently on a testing phase for a 19.5 version. we comb through the game and look for errors and evaluate difficulty of trainer battles. There is still a lot to do though, and since minor reborn updates come out sporadically there is always an uncertainty that it might crash something. 19.5 also has a small event for terapagos, but the currently released version its a Gift Pokemon that just sits around in the Ogerpon Cave (atop Ametrine Mountain), but I am unsure when it's obtainable in terms of postgame progression currently.4 points

Wow, now having finished playing through Case 20, clocking in at about 68 hours of play (about 6 of which were spent on a certain double battle in some certain woods) I can confidently say that this is my new favorite fangame ever. This game gave me so much joy that I feel like I should try to give something back by sharing my thoughts in what turned into a small novel xD There's so much to gush about I hardly know where to start! I'll try to start broad and get narrower. The structure/conceit: I love the case system. While I enjoy how games like Reborn and Rejuv have integrated gyms into the story, having a completely different way to mark progression made this game really stand out from the crowd. I love how it let all the battles and trainers feel more naturalistic--every opponent's team felt like it was something they would put together, and it meant that there could be stretches of battle-lite play where it felt appropriate. Progression felt more tied to story and character development than you proving yourself as a trainer. Also the case system in general was really fun! I'm a sucker for mysteries and puzzle games and despite how limited the medium of this kind of fangame is technically, the system you built captured the vibe of like a Nancy Drew or Sherlock Holmes game. The mysteries were also well constructed--there were only a few instances were I couldn't figure out what to do next or had to brute force the evidence presentation, and they were uncommon enough that they did not diminish my overall enjoyment. Story - General Vibes: The fucking atmosphere of this game...exquisite, effervescent, empyreal. Noir may be my favorite genre/subgenre, so I am already 100% the target audience here, but holy shit you guys nailed it. The moody jazz ost, the hardboiled internal monologue, the smaller scale urban setting... It's so delightfully contrasted with the simple Gen 3 graphics and the general silliness that is kinda built into Pokemon. In that vein, contrast is something this game does incredibly well. The hardboiled, gritty noir is often lightened by humor and some outright goofy sequences, but those add rather than detract from the tone. It keeps it from being a joyless grim slog and then when the game does decide to get real for a bit, the gut punch leaves you reeling (I still haven't recovered from the end of case 19 ;-; ). I was also impressed and pleased with how well Pokemon are actually integrated into the story and world. I feel like in a number of fangames, Pokemon are just sort of the gameplay vehicle and you could remove them without losing much of the story. But this games actually does the thing I always wanted fangames to do: give you a non-negotiable partner so the game can truly integrate them into the story and gameplay. Even as someone who never had particularly strong feelings about the Swinub line, Truffles instantly became my darling, and I love how she both gets to be a character and that her unique snow-pig attributes get to shine in a variety of ways. (Also, it should be stated that now I do have strong feelings about the Swinub line, thanks to this game!) Story - Characters I feel like most people tend to prefer OC/blank slate/self-insert playable characters in pokemon fangames, not because they're inherently a better fit, but because writing a good protagonist is hard. And if a player doesn't click with the protagonist they're playing, they'll probably bounce off the game. Sylvester Lafayette IV is the exception that proves the rule. He is so well drawn as a character and I was so invested in his story. It certainly doesn't help that he is also the kind of character that is absolute crack for my brain: gruff, repressed stoic, trying to shield his soft heart with cynicism and dissociation (and failing), collects strays and is mad about it, unable to walk away from perceived injustice despite it always leading to trouble... Absolute pathetic wet cat of a man, 10/10 no notes, S-tier blorbo material. And everyone else is so good too! I don't know if there are characters I don't feel strongly about. I love most of them, and the ones I don't like, I get to loathe with the strength of 1000 suns, which is just as fun. Even down to the throw-away npcs like the Number Guy. All their relationships are so well drawn and distinct. My favorites are probably (early-mid game spoilers): Gameplay: I already gushed about the case system above, so I'll talk more about the Pokemon aspect of it. I was playing on normal/medium and found that was mostly the perfect difficulty for me. I wanted to make a team of pokemon that seemed fitting for a PI and/or were obtained through story significant events, which means my team was not particularly optimized. The harder encounters sometimes took a few tries and creative approaches to overcome, but only one fight ever left me frustrated to the point I stopped having fun (again, a certain double battle in some certain woods). There was also a satisfying sense of gameplay/story harmony when (mid-game spoilers) Last Thoughts: I'm very grateful that I found this game when I did. Between being in my last semester of law school and the everything happening in the world right now, I've needed something to latch onto to keep my head above water. Especially since I'm in a video game law class right now, and most days I leave that class feeling like the video games industry is doing everything it can to crush the artistic spirit out of this medium. I don't know if it's common knowledge outside IP law spaces, but there's this overriding theory in both the legal system and industry that no one will make art if they can't make money off it. Coming back here, both to Ashen Frost and the pokemon fangame space in general is such a thorough refutation of that mindset. So thank you again for a bit of respite and fun in a difficult time, and I can't wait for the finale!4 points

Reuploaded Spork Updates: -new custom shiny Leafeon -new custom shiny Sewaddle line -Gina's Sableye has been changed to Haunter (Gym battle)/Mega Gengar (postgame rematch) -Kayla's Leafeon is now shiny Fixes: -the Temple of Time no longer has a battle replay for the battle with Drew at Celium Park that was part of an event that was removed last year, so Dialga should now be obtainable -the legendarysidequests notepad file's information on Dialga is now up to date -interacting with Kelani's battle replay at the Temple of Time no longer gives an option for the Sea Star tournament battle if you haven't gotten to that battle yet This is an early reupload to fix an issue where Dialga was unobtainable due to a removed battle still having been a requirement to obtain it. Shiny Leafeon is autumn-themed, and the shiny Sewaddle line resemble cherry blossoms! An autumn-themed shiny Sewaddle line was originally planned for last reupload, but then I saw that Reborn already did that, so the idea changed to cherry blossoms. I was still able to do an autumn shiny with Leafeon though! Steffi posted the similarity between regular and shiny canon Leafeon and suggested autumn for it! Kayla's Leafeon was made shiny because it matches the colors of her hair and outfit and because she's from Ecruteak City which has autumn-colored trees. Gina originally had Haunter/Gengar, but I swapped it out a few years ago because I thought it had the least connection to her tarot card nickname theme (its name was/is Tower, because they live in the Pokemon Tower in Kanto), but thinking on it now, they're a perfect fit for her as a character. Gina licks peoples' faces, something the Gastly line is also known to do. Gina's Badge is called the Mischief Badge, and the Gastly line are like the archetypal mischief-causing kind of ghosts. I also don't know why I thought the nickname connection was a stretch, but I think if it's a choice between what fits the character and what fits the nickname theme, I should prioritize what fits the character anyway, and the nickname theme can be adjusted if need be. Speaking of autumn, that's the current season, so happy autumn!4 points

Concerning the Future of More Regional Forms Hello everybody, a bit of an anticlimactic way of introducing this post, but after almost a year of v13.5's release, I figured it's time to make an official update notice regarding the status of MRF. First off, let me explain what I've been doing over the last year: When v13.5 released, I wanted to complete a full run of the game first before beginning development on a proper v13.5 MRF update. As of the current date, I have not even completed this recent release yet on either route. Though, I did want to push out a couple of mods at first when after the game got updated, which is why I quickly updated my Battle Music Pack mod (which I am currently still working on an update for) and then pushed out 2 other mods (Battle Bond (with help from Karvanha) and Gen 9 Starters) so that I could get a feel for how working with the new codebase would be. With how quickly I was able to release those mods, I figured I could get MRF updated just as fast, but I wanted to have a big update initially for it and thus joined the Gen 9 Mod team to help develop a base for other modders build their mods off of. I wanted to help build that template and then update MRF onto it, but I didn't expect it to take longer than the beginning of 2024 to complete it. Around said early 2024, I started studying for the MCAT, but also contributed to the Gen 9 Mod when I could. As a result, it left no time to actually work on updating MRF, and wasn't until halfway through the year that we completed the Gen 9 Mod template, which was when I thought about updating MRF again. By this point, there were already 2 large-scale mods in development for Rejuvenation v13.5: Overseer Files and LAWDS. I was very impressed with their work overall, but a part of me realized something after seeing them: I had no clear direction for MRF at all. At first, this mod was made to build up on the Alternate Forms Mod made by Jeb, as well as bring in the Hisuian Forms and Battle Bond into Rejuv v13.0.5 during a time where the game nor Rejuv Modding Community had either. However, over time I just started adding things into this mod that I liked, not really focusing on the goals I had initially set for myself. v13.5 added Hisuian Forms, and v14 is planning on adding Gen 9, so there's not much else for me to add into MRF other than the Delta Forms from Insurgence and Epoch Forms from Soulstones. However, over the last year someone contacted me that they were planning on making a Soulstones Mod themselves, and I figured there's no point in making 2 Mods that have all these forms in them, so I didn't feel like I wanted to add them anymore myself either. As of the current, I am still doing my studies, and thus any time I'd put towards developing this mod any further would be astoundingly slow. So, where does that leave MRF? Well, given the contents of this post so far, or if you just wanted to see a quick bolded TL;DR version of this message, MRF has ceased all of its future development and will not have an updated release for any future versions of Rejuvenation. I deeply apologize for anyone that was a fan of MRF and was awaiting its v13.5 release, but unfortunately I am not satisfied with the direction that this mod took. I don't like the way it turned out, and there's other mods that accomplish my objective but simply do it... better. I've always said I'm not a good coder, and quite frankly I'm still not. That's why trying to pile on so many ambitious goals for myself made me realize that I can't feasibly do all of this by myself. All-in-all, it killed my motivation to update this mod for future versions. So, once more, I am very sorry for anyone awaiting MRF's continuation, but this is where it ends. Now onto bigger news... Despite MRF ceasing development, that doesn't mean I've stopped modding in general. Even though I no longer want to add in the Epoch Forms from Soulstones, they weren't the only forms I was interested in. I've been working together with Sapphiada on a project that we're hoping many will be excited to hear about. The contents of this new mod were, of course, a part of MRF, but now full focus has been put on it. We have recently gathered artists who have volunteered to create sprites for us that will surely bring these old forms into a new light, and bring interest back into a true classic of the Pokémon Fangame community. One might call it... an Insurgence? Well, we'd rather like to call it a Resurgence. (Credits to 6'Rat on Discord for this beautiful back sprite) Any questions regarding the development of this new mod will be answered by either Sapphiada or me on Discord. I deeply appreciate everyone's support and love towards MRF, and hopefully we'll be able to continue giving much joy to all fans of Rejuvenation and the Rebornverse games as a whole! We hope you all have a wonderful day!4 points

DDDL: -added VS sprites for Delicia and Crolea -added item Jubilife Muffin (available at Olidroll Sweets Shop) -Frustration TM changed to Secret Power -fainting and herbs no longer lower a Pokemon's happiness Spork Updates: -added VS sprites for human player characters, rivals, Gym Leaders, Elite Four + Agne, Team Portal, and Smoothie; made by Palletite -new custom shiny Throh and Sawk; made by Steffi and based on Bert and Ernie from Sesame Street -added a way to keep track of guests you've already talked to at Crolea's birthday party -added item Jubilife Muffin (available at Olidroll Sweets Shop) -in some conversations, Raymond will now have dialogue acknowledging if the player has done any police quests -at starter selection, regional variants are now selectable both in the original form's region and in the region they're a variant in (ex: Alolan Vulpix was already in the Alola room, now it's also selectable through regular Vulpix in the Kanto room, etc.) -added a line of dialogue for Litwick at starter selection if you choose Buneary (wondering how it forgot since you and Emily both have one), and Staryu if you're playing as Sierran (referencing Sierran's Staryu hair clip) -added expanded choice menu to the Family Feud and Food Fight battle selection in Sushi's dream arena -added female Eevee sprites (made by Vince&Sylveon) -credits have been updated (VS sprites; Headphones Badge credit was missing for Steffi) -added the happiness changes from last reupload to the evomethodsandotherchanges notepad file Spork Fixes: -the Battle Frontier now unlocks when it's intended to; it's been inaccessible since the Serafew and Veyle map revamps because I used the wrong control switch for the door -Grim Neigh and Chilling Neigh now activate after an opponent faints instead of every time you attack -Belinda, Belladonna, and Ryoko's battles in Sushi's dream arena now play (they were still scripted with the Simulation trainer class from before they had their own sprites, and instead of activating the battles the game would ask if you wanted to add them as trainers) -player is no longer layered over the couches at the Ceolis Ranger Base -Feud is no longer misspelled as Fued for the Family Feud battles in Sushi's dream arena and when it's mentioned in the legendarysidequests notepad file -the display location data on the region map for Staryu Cove and Serenity Seaside is now correct (they were in the opposite places) It's exciting to have VS sprites in the public download now! They've been in the works for a while - the first batch was the Gym Leaders, which were started in February. Thanks to Palletite for making them, I really love how they all came out! The VS sprites I showed at the top of the post were a mix of some of my favorites and ones I thought would be fitting to place next to the players. In regards to the shiny Phanpy line I mentioned in the last post, it's still in development and has expanded beyond just shinies. Steffi wanted to do a post of her own when the time comes, so I won't go into many details about it here yet. However, Steffi did make shinies for Throh and Sawk this morning based on Bert and Ernie from Sesame Street! I was surprised to see them when I woke up, and I think it's a cute idea! Rejuvenation used to have Bert and Ernie shinies for Throh and Sawk too, but looking at the current version, it seems they've been changed. I guess we can keep the legacy going! While this is an emergency reupload to allow access to the Battle Frontier after the issue was reported yesterday, there's a ton of updates this time! Phanpy became more ambitious, and there are more VS sprites on the way (Enigma asked for Kelani and Alexander), but this still feels like a great spot to update on! Welcome to Spork Street!3 points

Pokemon Oblivion is a fangame that I have been working on, entirely solo, for about a year. It is loosely a Rebornian-style game, as it features field effects, but there are many new mechanical changes to many areas of Pokemon. There is a new "gimmick mechanic" in this game, similar to z-moves or dynamax, which is the Role system. More info about it in the video linked below. There is currently no released demo. I will be releasing video dev blogs on YouTube, the first of which is linked below. Join the Pokemon Oblivion discord server for updates: https://discord.gg/smC3yMS6re3 points

I am currently working on Conditioner's sister mod, Dollhouse- -where I will be tackling the Overworld sprites!! If you'd like to check my progress, or offer assistance, feel free to jump into the Thread on the Discord, in #reborn-mods _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Remember back during Ep19's Development reading the quip about shampooing the character's hair? I stole the joke, and now it's mine. In exchange I give you fixed backsprites for all the characters, as well as several touched up Frontsprites. Essentially all of them. This is (Essentially) a complete graphical overhaul for the Characters of Reborn, excluding their Overworld Sprites (also excluding Gardevoir because she was too tall and looked awkward.) Finished: -Animate the Player Character Backsprites (v2) -Finish all of the backsprites as single images (v3) -Tweak all VS Transitions (v4) -Tweak all Named Character Frontsprites (v4) -Tweak Non-Named Character Frontsprites (v5) -Literally two changes!!!! but it also "works for the new version" (v6) Download is unavailable unless you're logged into the forum :) NEW Download!!! (6.0) - 4/27/24+ | V19.5+ \/ Conditioner v6.zip <---- Most Recent Version /\ | Instructions in Zip are incorrect, updated Instructions are below: Rather than overwriting the Base Game files, open the 'Patch' folder in Reborn's folder- make a new folder inside named 'Graphics', then throw the 'Characters', 'Pictures', and 'Transitions' folders into 'Patch>Graphics' folder. Old Download!!! (5.0) - Pre 4/27/24 | V19-v19.16 \/ Conditioner.zip3 points

Hey hey, it's my first time using this forum so idk if it is the right place to post this kind of stuff or not. After few weeks on total of working on this project, it's finally done and I'm sharing it now ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ Before this, please keep in mind some of this stuff: The character obviously doesn't belong to me, so credit for the respective owner from reborn's developer Remember that this is a fan work, so don't expect it to be as good as the official one Might contain spoiler for Reborn This sprite takes so long to be made, idek how the developers manage to create thousands of sprites for the game (no wonder it takes years to be updated) so remember to appreciate our developer y'all ヽ(•‿•)ノ Phew that's all, here's a link from google drive so it'll be easier to access the sprite (I hope): click here! If you actually read all of my commentary and yapping, wow...thanks so much, I appreciate your attention a lot <3<3 much much love!! If V14 onward release new sprite for the protag, I would really love to provide update for this sprite as well, but I doubt that I'll even have free time from this point further. Sadly, it'll going to take much much longer to be updated :( If any of you discovered some weird stuff or problem, even as minor as a random dot or white bg or anything weird, please let me know so I can fix em in my drive ASAP (except the gearen news art, can't fix that). Also, feedback is welcomed! That's concluded my topic, have a great day and have fun playing with Lin! ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ3 points

Pokémon Resurgence Introducing Pokémon Resurgence! A mod focused on bringing Insurgence's content into Pokémon Rejuvenation! Most features and story content will be featured in this mod, attempting to connect the two games in the best way possible. Revisit Rejuvenation with a breath of fresh air or possibly feel the nostalgia of Insurgence! DISCLAIMER: This mod and its developers are NOT connected directly with the development of Pokémon Insurgence or Rejuvenation or either of their teams whatsoever. This is a fanmade project and is not related to the canon of either of these games. Do not message the Insurgence or Rejuvenation teams regarding any questions or concerns with this mod. Features: - Most Delta Forms and custom Mega Forms from Pokémon Insurgence! - Most custom Insurgence abilities, moves, and items! - Crests for some of the Delta Forms! - Mild rebalancing of some Delta species to make them fit Rejuvenation's balance better. - New quests and puzzles to obtain the Delta Forms scattered throughout the Aevium Region! - Returning characters from Insurgence's storyline integrated into Rejuvenation's plot! - Battle Bond Forms for Greninja, Delphox, and Chesnaught! - Partner Pikachu and Eevee obtainable in-game (along with Mega Forms for the both of them!) - Trainer adjustments to feature the custom forms from Insurgence! - New mega Evolution forms for most of the Aevian Forms, Delta Aggron, and Shadow Mewtwo! - The Frostbite status from PLA replacing the Frozen status, as well as new items, moves, and abilities surrounding the Frostbite mechanic! - A spreadsheet will be included listing out all of the new encounters, quests, puzzles, and item locations. Side Note: The Demo version does not have full implementation of all content yet. Lots of story still needs to still be rewritten and many assets still need to be made. For the most part, this is just meant to give people access to the Delta Forms that have been fully ported over into Rejuvenation. The Delta Starters are obtainable at the start of the game as a choice for your first starter. Go to the door to the back of the starter room and you will have access to them. Also, all the Battle Bond Gen 6 starters are available when you fully evolve them. At the final stage of their evolutionary lines, use an ability capsule on them to switch their ability to Battle Bond. Note for how Noctem, Shadow Sky, and Shadow Dance work: Due to Darkness not being a vanilla weather effect, we had to make a suitable one for Noctem and Shadow Dance. We were too lazy to have to make a new weather, however, and simply decided to use an existing one in Rejuvenation that is mostly unused: Shadow Sky. Currently, Shadow Sky is a weather effect that simply boosts Shadow Pokemon and damages everything else, and it can only be summoned with the Storm-9 ability. So, I decided to use Shadow Sky as the weather to be summoned by Noctem and Shadow Prayer (a new move that's replacing New Moon) instead, but I edited it to be in line a bit more with how Insurgence's Darkness works. Shadow Sky: Increases the power of Shadow, Ghost, and Dark-type moves by 35%. Decreases the power of Fairy-type moves by 25%. Damages all non-Shadow, Ghost, and Dark-type Pokemon by 1/16 of their HP every turn. Lunar Cannon becomes instantly charged under this weather. Pokemon with the Shadow Dance ability increases their Speed by 50%. Additionally, Shadow Dance's ability activates under a Dark Crystal Cavern. Shadow Sky will turn a Crystal Cavern into a Dark Crystal Cavern. Terminates the Rainbow field effect. Synthesis and Morning Sun all have decreased healing under this weather. Moonlight has increased healing under this weather. Solar Beam and Growth fail under this weather. Additionally, Lunar Cannon fails when it's Sunny. Hone Claws' boosts are doubled. Flash's accuracy drop is doubled, Illuminate's Evasion is increased. Geomancy's boosts are halved. Fairy Aura does not boost any attacks. Dark Aura boosts are increased. Phantom Force takes only 1 turn. Reflect and Light Screen have their effects boosted. Nightmare and Bad Dreams have their damage boosted. Download Link: Mirror 1 (MEGA) Mirror 2 (Google Drive) Installation: This mod uses its own customized version of Rejuvenation. You do not need to download Rejuvenation nor merge anything with vanilla Rejuvenation in order to play this mod. Simply download the .zip file from either one of the mirrors above, extract it anywhere you'd like, and run the updater.exe and then you can start the Game.exe. The mod uses a separate save folder from vanilla Rejuvenation, so if you want to port over an existing save you will need to copy your save data from where vanilla Rejuvenation's saves are stored and place it in Resurgence's save location. Updating: This mod comes with its own custom updater that will receive patches through our Github. We will announce whenever a patch is released for players to run their updaters. Guide for Resurgence Content: Link to Guide Things to do: Finish adding documentation for all of the changes made both to some vanilla Pokémon Abilities and Delta Form Abilities, as well as moveset and TM compatibility changes. Finish the Resurgence Discord for people to join and discuss Resurgence's development. Finish up the rest of the back sprites for Insurgence's Custom Forms and incorporate the rest of the forms into Rejuvenation. Make an NPC that allows you to change Delta Muk's form whenever the player wants. Balancing tweaks (if necessary) Animations for moves I'm not the best at pixel art and I'm even worse at animating. This might not come for a while, and I don't like acting like I'm begging for free help here but if there's anyone who can help me with animating moves I'd really appreciate it. Adding more Delta Forms into the mod if possible! Mod Compatibility: (Note: We have not had the chance to test every other Rejuvenation mod with Resurgence. If there is anything that is compatible or non-compatible, please reach out to AsN and he will update this list accordingly.) Compatible Most mods from the QoL Modpack A list of all of the incompatible mods will be listed in the Non-Compatible section. Haru's GBA Cheats Non-Compatible Any large-scale overhaul mods such as: LAWDS Overseer Files Rejuvenation Extreme Gen 9 Encounters Mod Anything non-modular. If it has to replace any of the actual game's files (Scripts, Data, etc.), it's mostly likely not compatible. List of QoL modpack mods that are not compatible: AEC - Mining Overhaul* Universal Accuracy x1.2 Battle_SpeedUp** ShowEnemyStatsOnInspect** *This is already incorporated into Resurgence's base game. **I've made these mods compatible but do not plan on releasing them publicly on this forum. Please visit the Reborn Discord and find them in the 'Resurgence Mod Discussion Thread' if you'd like the compatible versions. Credits: Will be included in a text document within the game's files. Reuploaded Spork: -new custom shiny Flygon line; Trapinch made by me, Vibrava made by Steffi, and Flygon made by Palletite -on Orange's team, changed Hariyama to Pawmot (nickname Kiriko) -changed Carol's birthplace from Cianosa City to Ballonlea, Galar -expanded the conversation where Emily meets Crolea for the first time in Ocean Coast -added a few NPCs A shiny Flygon line with trans flag colors was Steffi's idea! Each of us worked on a different stage of the line, and had different references and inspirations for the shades. I'm not sure what Palletite's references were for Flygon, but for Trapinch, I used shades from an image I saw of a keyboard with trans colors that I thought looked cool, and Steffi's Vibrava was partly based on the Transpinch colors and also directly from the trans flag. I'm happy we were able to finish it for Pride Month! Aside from the new shiny line, there isn't as much content in this reupload because it comes between two short periods where I was/will be away (I got back on June 6, and I'll be away for around a week or two again starting July 3), and was also playing Deltarune. The change on Orange's team is because I suddenly started wondering if there are any orange Pokemon in Gen 9 that could fit Orange, and Pawmot seemed perfect with its friendly expression and Revival Blessing (although I wasn't able to add it to Spork) while Orange likes to help people. The nickname isn't a perfect match because Kiriko is a more sinister doctor, but I wasn't able to find much in the way of 100% Orange Juice characters with electric attacks, and Kiriko seemed the closest match to Pawmot with the doctor/Revival Blessing connection (maybe Double Shock could also be seen as a defibrillator?). Happy Pride Month!3 points

Reuploaded DDDL and Spork DDDL: -second half of Colorful Reupload Spork Updates: -second half of Colorful Reupload -added a nurse and Fly spot to Giggly Grove -did a rewrite of the BCC. Before, Quinn said that the BCC only returned what they had no use for, and that donations were made to undercover Team Portal agents. Now, the returns and donations were genuine. While the main purpose of the BCC was still to find the bottle, the volunteer work they did was now 100% real -added Eeveelution Zodiac signs to character section in Data Vault, in the stats/demographics part -the eeveelutionzodiacguide notepad file now mentions that the Espeon Sign automatically solves Angela's Gym puzzle -when speaking to Triston at the Underwater Hotel after it reopens, he now gives you a Room Service after he mentions the room service on the 4th floor room -added regional dialogue for Hoenn, Unova, Alola, Galar, and Paldea when the player meets up with Emily and Crolea at the entrance to Dyserean Desert; Emily mentions the deserts in those regions -added several NPCs Spork Fixes: -Belinda and Belladonna are no longer still in the Olidroll Department Store after Crolea's birthday party -can no longer walk through a plant in the back room of the Ceolis Ranger Base -can no longer walk up the Rap Battle House doors after exiting the building -fixed typo when Tomas gives you the Toxic TM after the Gym battle: "additon" -> addition -fixed typo when given the option for Wendy's postgame rematch: "(Postgame rematches?)" -> "(Postgame rematch?)" -fixed some incorrect and outdated information in the obtainablepokemon notepad file: the file said that Great Tusk is found in the Alumia's Appliances Temple of Time portal instead of the Mudslinger Pavilion portal the Paradox Pokemon found at the Mudslinger Pavilion portal still said the Marvelous Marsh portal, from before the Gym moved after the revamps I've mentioned the Colorful Reupload a couple times before. In 2021, I brought it up as a future plan where some regular trainer classes and NPCs would be getting new outfit and hair colors, and the first half was in a 2023 reupload. Now the Colorful Reupload is complete thanks to Palletite! Here are the trainers whose sprites got updated this time: Pokemon Ranger: their outfits are now different shades of green, green being a color associated with nature and matching Seamus's Grass-type specialization. Their hair colors also represent a different aspect of nature, with green (plants), brown (logs, trees, sand, and mud), pink (cherry blossoms), and blue (water) Lady: they have red hair for because they're rappers, and some of them have black dresses which I just thought looked cool with the red hair Maid: they have now the black and white colors usually associated with maid uniforms, and their hair is mint. I don't know if this was intended, but the hair color kind of reminds me of feather dusters which is fitting! Martial Artist: their uniforms are red and black Beauty: outfit and hair colors are based on Volcarona and Frosmoth Starting Wednesday May 28, I'll be away for an unknown amount of time. My understanding is that it seems like it'll be more than a week, but less than a month. And then I'll be away for some time at the start of July too. But it's possible for details to change. I only knew about this as of 2 days ago. During that time, I won't be able to be on as much to check if anyone needs help, and won't be able to do anything like fixing save files. I'm glad I was able to reupload before then. Thanks again to Palletite for the Colorful Reupload sprites, and I'll see you all again for the next reupload whenever I'm able!3 points

This a small script which repurposes an old essentials function which let you take pixel perfect screenshots. I modified it to change the keybind tthe 'P' key when ingame. The screenshots are stored in the game's root directory in the Screenshots folder. To use, put this file into patch/Mods (create the folder if it doesn't already exist and run the game. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Welcome one and all! I am pleased to announce I'll be opening up positions for beta testing the game before it's release. As you can see below, it's done. the Shinys aren't completed but that was never a focus, they will be done one day. The game goes up to the second gym, and then there's a bit of story afterwards. It's not super long, but I think that there's a decent amount of content to play through! If you're interested in beta testing, you can DM me here on Rebornevo, EeveeExpo or even on discord! I am also on the RebornEvo discord, I talk often in the #pokemon-fangames, #game-development or #anime chats. I don't know how many people I will want to play test, but for now, its a free for all and I'll accept any number. I'll start adding people to the beta testing server from next week onwards, but you're free to contact me beforehand! ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Now. I need to talk about what will happen after this releases, there will be of course a few bug fix patches, these bug fixes will contain the usual bug and typo corrections, but also Pokémon Rebalancing (I haven't finished doing that), Difficulty Tweaks and also one more side quest that I was too lazy to add. Afterwards it'll be just normal big updates etc. : )3 points

04-02-2025 Dev Blog Don't worry, there was no Rick Roll this year for April Fools. Instead we had a hostile takeover of power, and sheer chaos. Fun times! We've got a few things to tease for this post, some new items, and contest winners for an Aevian event that was on-going in the Discord! Starting with some silly story snippets. Make the right choice, you know what has to be done. You'll stumble upon this peculiar Umbreon a few times throughout the events of Overseer. What could it mean? I guess you'll just have to wait and see. She is in fact, still armed. The grudge between these two expands back far further than it would seem. Your options will determine what happens next. Make the right choice... or don't! New Crests! I feel these crests are deeply sought after by the community in general. Especially with some other evolutions receiving the same treatment, so, without further ado. Vaporeon Crest "Gains Fire-type STAB. Normal-type moves become Fire-type. Heals 1/16th of its HP each turn." Jolteon Crest "Gains Water-type STAB. Normal-type moves become Water-type. Attack scales with Special Attack." Flareon Crest "Gains Electric-type STAB. Normal-type moves become Electric-type. Speed boosted by 40%." These crests will be exclusive to the Pinnacle, and can be obtained through a lore-relevant sidequest! Event Winners / New Aevian Form In our public Discord server, we put out an announcement last week for a new community event! That event was filling in a sketch for one of our new Aevian Forms. Whoever had the closest color-palate to the original would win. Now, to be quite honest, no one was that close. There were a lot of submissions for some crazy color combos, and some other unique looking designs. The winners were based on who had the closest color to one of the genders/the closest shade of color. Do also keep in mind that this design has never been shown outside of the developer server. The winners for the Male form are: Minbo & Seren (Both had close aspects to the original, so we decided both would win) The winners for the Female form are: Ronin And finally, the Aevian forms Aevian Buizel / Floatzel Design & Art by Moonpaw Normal, Ghost/Normal Type Buizel: Aevian Buizel descend from Buizel who were born without a flotation sac. After being shunned and driven away, it uses wisps as a suitable replacement for its missing collar. Floatzel: It has collected enough wisps to mimic the flotation sacs that its Sinnohan brethren have. They are very proud of their collection, and will often preserve their wisps at all costs. Additionally, have some undocumented information, provided by the Research Division No further information can be provided at this time. And that's all for this post. We'll be back soon with more updates on development as we continue! Congratulations to the winners of the event, and please reach out to an Overseer for your reward Overseer Files Discord3 points

Reuploaded DDDL and Spork DDDL: -changed Crolea's Inkay to Blipbug (nickname Saucer) Spork: -changed two Pokemon on Crolea's team: Inkay/Malamar and Onix/(Mega) Steelix are now Minior (nickname Meteor) and Dottler/(Mega) Orbeetle (nickname Saucer) -changed Ivan's Slowking to Palafin (nickname Paladin) -changed the Poke Ball starter item gift with Nincada to a Dusk Stone, since that's how it evolves into Shedinja as of last year after it was reported that the canon evo method wasn't working -Steelixite is now located at Olidroll Underground -Bolaii Bar is now a soda parlor where you can buy Soda Pop -after finishing the Cleanup Collaboration ranger quest, the NPC behind the counter at the Soda Parlor will be in front of the building and give you a Soda Pop as thanks -following last reupload, I've finished expanding the choice menus for when you have more than four answer options Specifically, the following menus will now show all answer options at once: move tutors, Sea Star Society vendors at the Shopping and Food sections, choosing your home region at the Tourist Info Center, helping Portal Agent Terrence decide what to order at the Battle Factory restaurant, prize vendors at the Battle Frontier, and the character simulations at Planet Spork. I was going to do the Battle Factory rental lists too, but there are so many Pokemon that they don't all fit in one text command, even with extendtext. I'd been thinking about Crolea's team changes for a while. Earlier this year, I started questioning the connection between Steelix and space. Apparently they can burrow close to the planet's core, which I'm guessing was my thought process there because its nickname was Core, but that sounds more closely related to geology than space. Orbeetle seemed like a great candidate for a space-related mega, since it looks like a UFO! As for Minior, I thought Crolea would really like them, the Violet Core Minior goes well with Crolea's dress, and Crolea gets a Comet Shard birthday present. Malamar fit the team theme perfectly fine and it was a tough decision to switch it out, but Isabelle and Peach still have one! Plus its nickname was Alien, and there's still Celesteela on Crolea's team! Ivan's was a sudden realization that Palafin would work well with his team theme, and since having a King and an Emperor might be repetitive, I switched out Slowking since I think Empoleon's more serious nature fits Ivan better. 2024 felt like a weird year in terms of reupload times. I was going to say that sometimes there were larger gaps than usual between reuploads, but looking back at timestamps from older posts, it doesn't seem like it's all that different to past years. It still feels different to me for some reason though. Maybe I feel like I fumbled a bit towards the end of the year with the Serenity Seaside house stuff, which led to a few reuploads having a lot less updates than originally planned. And the past couple weeks have basically been one reupload split into three, since I needed to reupload early twice due to major bugs. I've still enjoyed working on Spork though, and I'm excited to continue making updates! Happy Holidays!3 points

Hello everyone! I apologize for the long hibernation, a lot of RL stuff (still a lot to do so less time), but I will slowly begin to work back on the mod. First of all, since other developers mentioned and suggested to wait while a Gen 9 Support is being worked on, AND the newest Update getting Patches almost every wekk, I will focus on the current version (19.17) This also lightens the work to transfer and rewrite all scripts for the new version since there will be scripts available (and probably more cleaned up than my homebrew scripts lol) I will concentrate on bug fixes and probably postgame content until then and meanwhile slowly accustom to the new codewriting of 19.5. Since i had a long pause, I will also need some time to get back to map editing and coding in general, so I expect it to take some time for the first update to come out.3 points

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Hello everyone, it has been a few months. Progress *is* still being made, so let's get the graph out of the way again: So the general Total % didn't move, but Eventing and Sidequests did, Mapping is missing 1 big map. Graphics wise, 90% might no longer be correct, since we need to redo the Cave and Forest Field BGs, but I already have someone on the case (Aboodie). ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I guess what I want to talk about this time is the games story. I don't think I ever really talked about it here, on the games thread the synopsis is this: The premise is still the same, but I'm gonna re-iterate it here in a less 'poetic' and 'mysterious' way, it was written that way in the thread because it was appealing. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The game starts on the Players 18th birthday, and you and your BFF both decide on your own to join the Pokémon League Challenge, it's a championship/competition around the region where everyone can participate as long as they register on time online. Participating in this competition gives you a few perks, prices in items on PokéMarts are cheaper, and there's certain locations around the region that you're allowed to visit without having otherwise, the authorization or warrant to go in them (Participating in the championship basically acts as a free-entry on locked areas), these locations can be certain routes, or abandoned buildings etc... The Players goal is simple, find out where their mom is, they were abandoned when they were a really young child and left with their father, who took care of them ever since. The only thing they have from their mom is a keepsake she left behind, a broken Ultra-Ball, their goal is to fix them, and interact with people around the region that know about their mom, to learn more about her and maybe eventually learn of her whereabouts. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The basic premise is exactly that, of course it gets complicated and doesn't focus purely around just finding out your mom, your rivals and friends will also have their own goals and you will be able to help them and they will help you. I wanted to give the player their own goal, well, at least the Player Character in-world, if you the player actually cares or likes it is a different story that I can't do much about, but hopefully the gameplay can at least make you interested in continuing then. There will be villains, and there will be danger. The start of the game directly mentions that some people escaped prison. There will be minor villains to beat once in a while (I'm a sucker for these), and also overarching narrative villains that will re-appear every so often (I'm a sucker for these). I think I need to say this: I KNOW where the majority of the characters end. I KNOW where the story goes at the end. NOT every character will get a character arc and change (some personalities are just too fun for me to change them) I also do have a list of plot-points that will happen, but I will admit that I don't have the proper order for all of them, there are still two or three characters I worry about, but hopefully as I write them I will have a proper idea of how best utilize them. Anyway I'm gonna introduce some friends and rivals now, because I don't remember if I ever did. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Rivals: Emily Willing (18 Years Old) She is the players BFF, she was born on the same exact date as the player, at the same hour, in the same hospital, 29th October 2001. She has an unusual attachment to the player, likes the same thing they do, does more or less the same thing they do, and enjoys spending time with them. She does have her own personal likes, dislikes and desires, but most of the time they are overshadowed by what she knows the player likes and dislikes more. She starts the story with no real goal other than tagging along, but that quickly changes... Synea Reid (23 Years Old) She is the last of the rivals the player meets, she is good at discovering information, but bad at using it. She can be impulsive and short-tempered, even hostile and agressive against those she deems criminals or bad people. Maybe a bit of a hero complex, who knows. Her goal is to become a detective, much like her father... Keren Galbraith (21 Years Old) He is a lot more calm, and keeps to himself most of the time, but eventually opens more to the player. He is Wills older brother, and is mostly just following him around the region and going where his brother wants to go. He is also the most competent in battle out of all the rivals. He doesn't know what he wants in life, but knows what he doesn't. Will Galbraith (10 Years Old) He is a respectful kid that only wants to do good. He always uses honorifics when talking to people (Mr. Miss. Ma'am etc...), Keren is the exception. He is partaking in the league challenge and looks at you and his brother with admiration and desire to be as strong as you two. Quickly takes a liking to you after seeing how quickly and effectively you defeated the first gym, something that he struggles with. He is the weakest of your rivals, but is also the one with the most growth potential. You'll partner up with this kid quite often. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Starters: I don't think I have talked about the starters for Divulgence either, so I'll also do that here: I don't think I need to explain why these. If you're reading this you're smart enough to figure it out yourself. While I'm at it I'll also tell you what Pokémon the rivals got as their starter: Emily is Skitty Synea is Shinx Keren is Deino Will is Sentret ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ How the game plays... First I want to drop this here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wusCE20z5MjU2fNi0rpcR1YS8UEVXPfF/view This link allows you to play the original 2020 tech demo, it is very bare-bones, you can't even play as a girl in this despite having the choice (you will literally be invisible and might even crash) But back then I needed to put something out, I needed to know if people would enjoy it at least a bit, people did. Give it a try if you haven't, but do remember the save will not be converted to the next update, as the game was remade from the ground up. I would love to see what you think of this tech demo compared to the next update. ANYWAY, about the next update. So, this is more of a warning, but there will be a lot, and I mean A LOT, of side events that you can skip. Just for the next update, I would say half the runtime is skippable content that you *can* miss if you don't do it. A lot of this content is hanging out with your rivals and friends, doing things with them, knowing more about them, battling them. I will of couse still have the main story play out and be forced to do, but I can't stress out enough how much content can be missed, and can be skipped, so please do explore. I will say this again when the update comes out, hopefully by the end of the year but based on how much of a bitch I am it will probably be January, kinda sucks because I actually wanted it to come out the 29th October originally to fit in with the players birth-date. I'm sorry. https://imgur.com/nwR9MW2 oh my god i cant figure out how to make gifs work here so fuck it, you can click the link im losing my mind ( got you boi ;') )3 points

10/08/2024 Dev Blog Today is a pretty big day for the mod, as we recently hit 1,000 members in the Discord server, a huge milestone for something that is just a mod for Rejuvenation, at least to me anyways. Because of this, we are hosting a bunch of community events, and revealing some new content for the mod. Community Events Starting off with the events, we are hosting 3 of them. The first being "The Pinnagame", a RNG based/raffle event, where members with cNPCs can submit their character into a raffle, and if selected, go at it in the Hunger Games, with the first three winners getting an Aevian form on their team! You can submit your cNPC into the raffle here: https://forms.gle/sgfDHYQy3h3b7oZaA The second event is a Trivia, where we will be doing a Kahoot quiz based on the mod, the story lore, and some other mod related questions. The top 3 highest scoring participants will win an Aevian form for their team, where the participant that comes in first place will also win a trainer effect for their team. The trivia will be taking place TONIGHT, at 7 PM EST, check the server events, or join the stage channel to participate. This will be taking place in the Discord. And finally, we will be updating the Aevian Form demo with 4 new forms, those forms being Aevian Noivern Aevian Flygon Aevian Vivillon and a community chosen form to be added to the pack. You can vote for the new form here: https://forms.gle/u82J8yM1Y7xWa4Wv5 Duskmire Bayou Duskmire Bayou is the final main location in the Pinnacle to be revealed. Located south to Silverlein Highlands, Duskmire is a overgrown toxic swamp, and is the least populated location in the Pinnacle, with the primary residence being Outcasts, who are either seeking an escape from the main Pinnacle locations, or those who are in tune with nature. The poison type Pokemon alone are a main deterrent for new residents, but on top of that, the land itself is suspended above the toxic waters by thick vines, and frequently shifts without warning, making it extremely difficult to construct homes, or any other kind of residence in this location. The waters are home to Aevian Dragalge, they're extremely territorial, and will typically attack anyone who attempts to disrupt their home, making it highly difficult to urbanize the Bayou. This however does give homes to a plethora of Poison type Pokemon. RemeSpin.mp4 New Forms These next forms are pretty special compared to the rest. As mentioned in the Aevian Demo update, Aevian Vivillon is now real, but we have two other forms to showcase along side it. The Void The Void is a desolate landscape, No important information is known about it. Any history on this location, or how it came to be is unknown, and there are no known Interceptors that reside there. You are not meant to be here. The Void is watched by a highly aggressive Pokemon. Please see the found footage below. StompyReveal.mp4 A single image has been captured of this creature, and is assumed to be a new variant of Silvally. No other information is available at this time. That's all for this post. Thank you all again for 1,000 members! Make sure to check out the Discord for the on-going events, and future updates. Overseer Files Discord3 points

09/11/2024 Dev Blog This weeks post is going to be a little shorter than normal. This isn't due to lack of progress to show, but rather it's quite a big announcement, and I don't really want to bloat this post. Over all development has been going well. As mentioned in the Discord server, there are only 2 main maps left to design and add, and 1 other that needs to be overhauled, once that's done, it's on to interiors, and other smaller maps, then eventing and finishing up writing, and sorting out anything left over. Hopefully we can get this done in a reasonable timeframe! Speaking of map overhauls, I have a map overhaul to show. I've teased and shown the Highlands before, but to be honest, it wasn't that great, the map itself was somewhere around 150 x 180 in size, which, is a little bit too big. I also didn't really utilize that space very well, and it felt very flat and boring, so, I went ahead and redid it entirely. Here is the old map teaser for example: I'll be honest, I didn't really know what I was doing when I made that map. It was the first tileset I had made, as well as the first giant mountain map too, so of course, it wasn't great. With that beside us however, the overhauled map, in my opinion at least, looks a lot better. So, introducing Silverlein Highlands The original idea of this map is still there; it's a big mountain range that has you traversing through caves and windy pathing to reach a destination, this time it's not just a straight path though! Silverlein is the main location for Renegades, Outcasts, and sometimes even Exiles, with the village being located to the north of the main location. From here, you will be able to traverse to the Silverlein Swamps, or hike up to the Silverlein Summit. Who knows what's all the way up there... I managed to get this one done is a reasonable amount of time, which is surprising, since the original map took almost 3 weeks to finish, so that's a plus. Mapping hell is almost over! Additionally, we finished clearing up the inactive teams, which opened 4 new slots, all of which have already been filled with some great new members. So, all of the slots are full, right? Well... for now, maybe, this might change with what's coming next. Ayrien Ralts, and its evolutions come from the Ayrei region, and is the signature Pokemon of Nephele. Both Gardevoir and Gallade are Flying types. Gardevoirs Abilities: Gale Wings, Lightning Rod, Telepathy Gallades Abilities: Gale Wings, Sharpness, Justified As for Vanguard, in version 4.0, you will be able to find and obtain 4 of our Aevian forms! Aevian Scolipede, Sawsbuck, Gogoat, and Pyroar Movesets and Abilities are subject to change per Vanguard balancing standards obviously. Depending on how this collaboration goes, we may end up opening a 4th slot for each field. We will monitor activity and demand, and if its deemed necessary, we will do so. So stay tuned! That's it for this post, I'm sorry it was a short one, but hopefully the announcement justifies it! We will continue to work hard, and feature more exciting content down the line! Check out Project Vanguards Discord server as well! Overseer Files Project Vanguard3 points

Fixed another Google Drive link issue where it wasn't updating. When Steffi hosted the link, it would keep the same URL with every reupload, but it seems like that hasn't been the case since the link was remade, so the Google Drive link in the first post was out of date. It should be up to date now. Sorry for the growing pains with Google Drive, this is my first time hosting the Spork link.2 points

Reuploaded Spork with some updates and fixes on the new maps Updates: -For Angela's Aviary, Butterfree previously showed the invisible pathways again when you went down a floor and came back up. Now it also does so if you go up and come back down, as well as for ones you've cleared before if you fall down from more than one floor -For the 2v2 Angela Gym battle, replaced Ice Beam on Emily's Frosmoth with Blizzard so that it can take advantage of Blizzard's accuracy boost in the snow -updated Dialga's dialogue at the Temple of Time's main office to mention the portal quick travel (previously, it still had the old dialogue saying there wasn't much to do there, which is no longer true) -Waterfall is now like Cut, Surf, Strength, and Dive where you can use the move as long as you have the HM in your inventory without needing to teach it to a Pokemon Fixes: -can no longer bypass Crolea by walking above or below her into the Serafew - Marvelous Marsh gatehouse. Walking above or below Crolea will now activate the conversation with her just as speaking to her would -added Leafeon Sign autoheal to the underwater Marvelous Marsh map and the one with the portal to the Temple of Time main office -added debug-enabling tree to Serafew's Pokemon Center -can no longer walk off the top of the tree trunk in Marvelous Marsh where Bloodmoon Ursaluna appears2 points

This is intended to be used with the Conditioner Mod I made last year: It works fine on its own though, so if you're just looking for the Overworld sprites only you're in the correct place. ____________________________________________________________________ Remember last year when I was in the kitchen slaving over a hot stove of hair products and clothing dye? Girlie's back and dinner is served* ( * The mod's not 100% done yet, closer to ~75% finished but still usable) This is (Intended) to be a complete overhaul of Reborn's Character Overworld Sprites, since I've already done the Battle Sprites previously. Finished: V2: - All of the Protagonist Sprites that aren't Tauros, Fishing, or Minecarts (I'm a busy lady and it's been half a year ;p) - Several more Women - Some Animations (egads!) - Redid Bennett (THANK GOD) - Still working on the rest. V1: - Two of Six Protagonists (technically 1.7 since Lucia needs her Fishing sprites still) being Alice and Lucia. - Various Women - Fireboy and Watergirl - Many More (But not all of them yet) Download: (Most Recent) [The Download reads as 'Unavailable' if you aren't logged in :> ] Dollhouse v2.zip (If version 19.5.21 breaks anything let me know and I can do a hotfix but I severely doubt it will break anything.) There's a thread in Reborn's 'Reborn-Mods' channel if you're interested in commenting/weighing in on the sprites Intended Progress Pipeline: V1: Initial Version, cleaning the Sprites for the characters I viewed as needing them the most (also Radomus) V2: Second Version, Finishing the Protagonists and Named Characters Did most of the Named Characters, still a few more and some inbetween sprites <-- YOU ARE HERE V3: Third Version, Rest of Named Cast, NPC Trainers and others. V4+???: whatever im missing ig i unno2 points

Pick your Mystery Tired of not getting the Pokémon you want from your Mystery Eggs? Don't want to have to resort to using debug to mess with variables and accidentally break your game? Well, allow me to bring those troubles to an end, because now you'll be able to choose the Pokémon you want from your Mystery Eggs! Features: The option to select which Pokémon you get from these Mystery Eggs: Route 2 Mystery Egg* Skiddo Mudbray Galarian Ponyta Goldenwood Forest Mystery Egg from Crawli Sizzlipede Joltik Blipbug Route 3 Mystery Egg Azurill Aron Absol Togepi Sneasel Dhelmise Aevian Litwick Axew Mienfoo Pawniard Trapinch Hippopotas Cottonee Darumaka Hatenna Starly Tyrunt Larvesta Mareanie Stufful Rookidee Kakori Help Center Aevian Mystery Egg from Alexandra Aevian Magikarp Aevian Budew Aevian Wimpod Aevian Shroomish Aevian Larvesta Aevian Bronzor Aevian Feebas Aevian Sigilyph *Also allows you to choose which Egg move they receive as well. Download Link: Mirror 1 (MEGA) Mirror 2 (Google Drive) INSTALLATION: Extract the contents of the folder into the the Data folder of the Game's files and replace when prompted. COMPATABILITY: This mod is compatible with any mod that does not modify any of these specific map files: Map 026 Map 069 Map 199 Map 321 FAQ: Is this compatible with the Gen 9 mod? Yep, since the Gen 9 mod doesn't affect any maps and this mod doesn't change any Scripts other than Mapping-related ones, it's perfectly compatible with it. Isn't this completely removing the whole point of a "Mystery Egg"? Well, yeah, technically this is just cheating to get the Pokémon you want. If you don't want to use it, you don't have to. And if you have not played Rejuv v13.5 yet, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you play through the game completely vanilla before attempting to mod anything. Why do you select the Pokémon you want to have before selecting Phantump for the Route 3 Mystery Egg? There's something weird with how the event scripting works for trades that kept crashing the game if I tried to have Phantump be chosen in the party first before selecting which Egg you wanted to have traded to you. I made a workaround which is why the the choices for the interaction are a little backwards, but it functions properly either way. No indicators that tell you got the Egg after you chose it? I mean, I didn't change much about the dialogue for these events, just the method of choosing your eggs. Even if the dialogue doesn't show which Egg you got, I tested myself that it works properly and the correct Egg gets added to your party. Do you plan on adding new Mystery Eggs anywhere or changing the pool of Pokemon we can get from Mystery Eggs? Nope, this is just a simple mod for people that don't want to have to constantly restart their games or use debug to get the Egg they want from Rejuvenation's Vanilla Mystery Egg Pool. Though I'll probably change it up later on when I eventually release a big mod for Rejuvenation. Do you plan on making this compatible with your other mods that aren't compatible with this one? Yep, I've just been busy irl with stuff. I'll eventually make a modpack containing all of my mods, it's just that this one was easy to make and I've seen a lot of people complain about the Mystery Egg for a while, so I figured I might as well release this for those that want the convenience. Plus, by this point many of you should have done your playthrough of v13.5, so this is a mod that lets you explore other options for your early game encounters for the sake of replayability. How can I contact you for questions or feedback? I'll try to check the forums as much as I can, but it's better to reach me on discord if you need anything. My discord handle is katowoozy, or you can find me in the Reborn discord with the name AsN.2 points

You know, you could've atleast finished the whole game first before stating a really big opinion with how you blow it into proportions, You dropped it early but you didn't know that the Help center has it's own storyline or arc hence why all of the tedious stuff is done. The good things that you list just made it so you won't look like you are bias on reborn even though you are. It's a side quest, it is optional. I agree that the accept and abandon quest is kinda tedious and very flawed but you aren't supposed to do them in the first place. You should do the main quest but you insisted on doing the side quest that are not even important. The only notable ones are Saving Starly cause of Karen Introduction, The Hidden Library and Novaem's quest. BTW, you could've always just save before accepting a quest and then try it if it is on your level or capability but no! you keep on bitching instead of findings ways to not do all the tedious stuff. It's funny cause Reborn was tedious af and even worse, you made it look like they make amazing sidequest when it's horrible and you almost need guide on every single one of them. You also talk and WALK back to the npc on reborn when you are done with the quest, don't bullshit me with cutscenes on reborn even though those are just tiny in portion compare most side quests. You are just nitpicking on the early quest but okay, the Haircut/Sasha was done so that YOU as a quest helper would inform the daughter on what is happening, you aren't just a sick bastard who do stuff on their own will and bust through the mother's free haircut session on the pier, because you are the hero. This also makes you explore the whole city if you didn't because of the main story. The whole haircut quest was to inform the player how harsh it is living while being monitored by the authorities of Gearen and how Karrina handles things. It is deeper further on the story how it went. The loveletter was weird but how stupid you are not knowing who the white hair guy was? he was the only one on the telescope on the side of berry emporium. It was so clear what was needed to do. Imagine not enjoying the story and all the crap the devs made and heart and soul they pour on the side quest, the rewards don't even matter. Side quest are just mostly to pass time or do other stuff if you aren't keen on doing the main quest. Rewards are like bonus, the real thing are the story on the side quest and how they connect on the main game. You are talking about parallel progression when reborn's quest are all over the place and you won't know what the fuck you're doing until something finally happens or you search for guides on it instead of doing it yourself and places riddled with hard puzzles that removes the freedom on doing that quest until you solve tedious puzzles and all that crap. Also, you can do everything on your own pace, what the fuck are you spouting. The only problem that I agree with you was you are lock on that quest if you don't abandon it, but that only applies on HELP CENTER SIDE QUEST not the other side quests which are more free to ignore and continue which you clearly don't know. You keep repeating your nonsense ideology. You can clearly save scum and try other stuff that let's you skip all the boring things for you. besides, that is your fault if you do side quest first instead of dealing with the major plotline, you are bound to be in a pain if you keep insisting on doing help center quest when you clearly aren't forced to. You can clearly train on the rooftop of Hotel before the hotfix but clearly you insist on the only way was the side quest amirite? You can even train a Dustox and sweep Venam, most of the available mons like Butterfree works like a charm too. There are many ways. Grindy? Yes compare to V12 but I myself didn't even grind from side quest just played the main quest and made the level cap before venam fight. Besides, like the Pyroar sidequest, I was underleveled on that one but beat it easily. Imagine hating on something cause you can;t beat it and then blame the system for it. The progress is beautiful if you know what the fuck is happening, you clearly don't care about it by the looks of it. They aren't less organic, you ain't just paying attention. And here we you are comparing reborn again. I love Reborn, I played it like a lot, I mean a lot even more then Rejuv, The choices you make on the Reborn are what matters not really the side quest. The sidequest are more or less just tedious stuff because you don't have anything to do and you obviously looked up on forums on how to solve certain puzzles on sidequest which aren't even worth doing besides the rewards. They don't hold consequences unlike on Rejuv with the connecting side quest and major arcs and storyline which you clearly don't know. I do wish we could do multiple help center quest(Also every help center on a town is different so you can do other side quest on multiple center) though (I remembered back on past versions you can do multiple, like on V10 cause I used to do that but they removed it, I maybe wrong on that cause that was like 4 years ago). Your point on the walking and tedious abandon and accept is flawed, Save and F12 gg2 points
