He thought about looking up for ice cream stands, but then he realized that he had never really stepped into the streets of Aether City. He shoved it back into his pockets. Yours Truly Posted May 20, 2017 Share Posted May 20, 2017 Radovan took out his A-Comm out of his pocket for a moment to check if he was going in the right direction, after receiving the confirmation that he was in fact heading towards the nearest Ice Cream stand, he slowed down his walking pace as he said "Yeah, I just wanted to get away from Gina as fast as possible while also showing Zeta the sights a bit...I checked the A-Comm though, we should be heading the right direction, so relax man we've got this! Well anyways, if they wanted to get some ice cream, the group should head inside through the big glass automated door all the medics were using to flood the area along with families of those rescued. Says Sena, with the nicest way he could, as he wanted to be on Gina good side, no matter how impossible it is since he's not Kalva. he let out a small sighs as he look at his aether ball, he's now thinking about his future team I can't rely on Verna every time. There might be time she'll be fighting at a disadvantageous situation. So having around 2 to 6 pokemon would be a good idea. He wasn't quite used to other people openly bullying him; this was a rather new experience as most people treated him with respect unlike him. However, despite the annoyance he holds in his heart, Frederick decides to simply smile cheerfully at Radovan as he says, "I am pleased at your offer, Radovan. Let us head to the Ice Cream Shop." But he eventually decided that as patience is a virtue that he should teach to his....what is the opposite of the word "Betters"? But either way he slowly but surely walked beside M and led him towards the Ice Cream shop, giving a reassuring "You always want to get an ice cream while waiting for a flight right?" Before boldly striding into the building. He would have commented on Red's brief moment of awkwardness, but that would have been as rude as interrupting the large crowd of people crowding up the room. After a while he led M up to the counter, and ordered his favorite kinds of ice cream "Three scoops of ice cream please, One scoop of Dark chocolate, one scoop of GMOran berry surprise" he glanced at M for a moment to whisper in a conspirational tone of voice "The surprise is that it tastes nothing like GMOran berries" before turning back to the ice cream salesman and saying "And one scoop of Peanut butter ice cream. Waffles if you have them, and thank you in advance but I'd like it to be on a plate with a spoon and fork, and not a cone". Like there is nothing in the heavens above but Clear Blue Skies~, and all you need to do is soar!" He then turned to the ice cream salesman with the smile still on his face, and he said "One scoop of Blue sky ice cream please, with the softest waffle you have on it's side....unless you want it on a cone Emmanuel~". A few moments later he would say "No problem man, It's just common courtesy, and you look like you could have used some almost as much as Zeta". She slid beside Shelly, already at the front, putting her left elbow onto the table. “We gotta get her the best ice cream on the menu. We want her to realize how amazing ice cream is.” Kai spun around on her right foot before jumping up and facing the menus as she landed. “We want the best thing you got to offer, money’s no obstacle.” The girl flashed her A-Comm, the screen showing the front of what looked like a debit card. “Two Mega Chocolate Syrup Nanab Splits with one- no, two- actually, three scoops of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry with extra sprinkles and crunchy chocolate bits!” Kai made small jumps up and down, her excitement very much visible for everyone. “You want one, Shelly? He decides to check out the menu first before ordering and find out what kind of Ice Cream is suited for his tastes. As he does this, he also observes what the other cadets have ordered, noticing that each has chosen different flavors of Ice Cream. After a bit of scanning the menu, he finally moves to the Ice Cream vendor and prepares to gives his order. "I would like two Special Vanilluxe Ice Cream Cones, please. One of which will be the standard Vanilla Flavor while the other one will be the White Chocolate Flavor. As for the toppings, I would like Chocolate Sprinkles and Marshmallows on both of them." He takes out his wallet and pays the Ice Cream vendor using the allowance money given by his foster father. Before the Ice Cream he ordered arrives, he releases Theodore from his Aether Ball, so as to not have difficulties later. When it does arrive, he joins the rest of the group in their table, giving the standard Vanilla Flavor Special Vanilluxe Ice Cream to Theodore. Music: The world Jenny lives in The lady behind the ice cream stand smiles at you, holding her A-Comm up. She takes all of your orders one by one. The ice creams are laid out before you and she swiftly handles them. You each receive what you want and she gladly accepts payment from Kai and Radovan. When Shelly asks for the menu, she nods. "Right, if you want to have a very super special flavourful experience, you might wanna try our special Nanu Cocoa ice cream. Based around the legend of the man who saved the Wailuda Triangle from destructions with the help of the Kokos, or the island guardians. It is a great blend of sweet and bitter made up only from the finest and freshest dark chocolate and our very own Maranga berries, all blend together with the softness of a tiny little bit of Colbur to give it that purple taste!" She says, looking at Shelly expectantly. "Oh, and feel free to sit with your Pokemon! Thank you for uhm...waiting for me to clear that up before bringing a big Gabite and a Murkrow here...and a Meditite and a Stufful and oh boy...they're all over the tables..." Zeta shily walks over to the group and climbs on one of the chairs. Meggie and Murki follow her, utterly confused at the whole buzzing world around them with so many people and such odd things to see. You're sure Zeta feels the same, but your presence alone must be easing for the young girl. "O-oh, okay!" She shouts as she gets her ice cream, but then stops and looks at it in confusion. "W-what now..?" She asks, poking it with a finger and then quickly pulling it back when it got all cold! "W-wow, it really is cold! And it smells funny! D-do you cover yourself with it? Shelly stared agape at Kai, for a moment, believing the blond girl to be a stranger phenomenon than Zeta. Shelly was brought back to reality by Jenny's recommendation. "I'll take on of those, thank you!" Shelly payed for her treat, and made her way over where the rest of her group was sitting. She thought for a moment, then pulled out the pokeball, and released Axew in a burst of light. It would be cruel to keep her out of the fun. You can't die happy without having one." Though, she'd probably die from having one in the first place. Kai let out a laugh as she saw Zeta poke the delicious treat, stopping herself from falling off her chair. “You don’t cover yourself with it, you eat it.” Kai left three spoons, one for Zeta and her friends each. Kai took out her own, scooping a piece of the vanilla from the dessert and having a taste of it. “Ah, maybe I'll pass out and have a dream with even more sugary treats!“ Kai put her hand to her cheek as a big grin came onto her face. Kai threw her Aether Ball upwards, Anté falling right back onto her head. Taking another spoon, she took another scoop for the blue creature to have a taste of. The Shinx had a delighted look on his face as he had some of the delicious Rawst Berry treat. “Here, lemme help ya.” Kai took one of the spoons before taking a scoop of chocolate and putting it in front of Zeta’s face. “Say ‘Ahhh’.” The girl prepared herself, waiting for Zeta to open her mouth. Which is why he took a chunk out of the peanut butter and dark chocolate Ice cream and put it on his spoon before moving it towards EM's mouth while making Nexus Drill noises "Say aaaahhh". "I may be younger than you, but I can still do these kinds of things myself," he ate the ice cream. The peanut butter and the dark chocolate mixed together in a splendid fashion, with the sweetness and the bitterness alternating rapidly, like Xerneas and Yveltal's mythical cycle, before eventually grinding to a halt. However, the sweetness and the bitterness did not fade away, they simply coexisted, like Pokemon and humans."That was... great!" he smiled from the bottom of his heart, "to tell the truth, I never knew that such delicacy is right around the corner. Well, now that I know, thanks!" He put the spoon back to Radovan's plate, before finally starting to lick his Blue Sky ice cream. The dreamy sweetness released from the cream was like heaven, putting Emmanuel in a solid minute of painlessness and ecstasy. As the taste faded, a light guilt resurfaced. He looked at the remaining bits of ice cream on his plate and sighed, but he tried to muster another smile to Radovan."I'll make it up for you somehow, okay?" It was really hectic with all that's happened so people kinda maybe probably didn't have the will to eat ice cream. She had to wonder though, where did these kids come from? "Excuse me..?" She shily walks out from behind the ice cream stand and towards the crowd. She approaches Shelly as she was the one she'd interacted with the most, as sad as that sounded. "A-are you Cadets? I see you've come from the Nexus Drills. Did the rescue mission you were in charge of go that well that you had to celebrate with some ice cream?" She asks with a grin. Meanwhile, Zeta looks confusedly at Kai but then smiles and opens her mouth as wide as she could, waiting for the girl to do her thing. "Ahhh-" [Emmanuel can proceed to join with Kalva and Sena if he's done eating the ice cream, if he does so, he will be included in the following event there] RENDEZVOUS POINT **NPCs at the scene: Gina, ???** Gina sighs. "Where the heck is out escort? Useless Sei, he always fucks everything up." She mumbles, however, her A-Comm suddenly buzzes and, before she could react, a voice message pops up... Music: Not only roses have thorns, you know!? "You....bitch!" The female voice screams angrily and Gina immediately frowns. "Not her..." "What did you just say!? Come say that to my face if you dare, because right now, I don't think I give a crap about anything you think. You know what, I care so little, I'm gonna do something. I just wanted to let you know. Maybe you should watch your back." The message shuts down and Gina is on immediate alert. The crowd around you has calmed down a bit. A bit too much. Could this be the coming of a storm? Whoever the girl calling Gina was, she threatened her. And Gina took it seriously. There is definite cause for concern here. -BATTLE START- //Unknown Enemy// cannot calculate stats [Without a way to know where the attacks would be coming from, the best course of action is for both Kalva and Sena to assume a defensive position. Gina is already on high alert and she'd summoned Sal over to her side.] "Our enemy fights by taking advantage of her surroundings. She will burst at us without us seeing it...her battle tactics are cowardly, but efficient...She also uses a Steenee, so all you need to do is provide a chance for Sal and me to fire. "What do you want to do in the future?" "How many scoops of ice cream can you put in your mouth?". After a while he turned to face the Ice cream vendor and with a rather cocky grin said "No actually, the graduation ceremony went so badly that we accidentally travelled to a different Nexus and almost died horribly. But do you know what was even worse?". After the officer made a cursory attempt at answering that rhetorical question he would point at Zeta and say in a tone that implies shock and horror "SHE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT ICE CREAM WAS UNTIL TODAY!". After a bit of time to let that little piece of information soak into her brain for a moment he would put on a rather questioning tone and say "So....may I ask for your name? And also how long can I keep those Nanu Cocoa ice cream out of a well refrigerated area without them melting? I'd like to order one scoop on a waffle cone and a scoop of the most dark purple colored ice cream you have on top of a scoop of something that would go well with anything....like Milk and Cookies, also on a waffle cone." After receiving and paying for his order he would follow Emmanuel as he walked back towards the rendezvous point with his confectionery delights in his own two hands. She jumps down in front of Kalva, and readies her Confusion if someone was to attack the party. In turn Kalva puts his arms up defensively, searching the crowd for any hostile movement. They take positions behind Gina and watches the party's six. Kalva and Quina both knew they didn't want to fight. Especially if the pokemon in the team was unwilling to fight, but the humans were. Kalva was visibly anxious about the upcoming battle, biting his lower lip. But with Gina so serious...there was bound to be something terrible here. He then looks over to Sena. Hopefully...
