so i was wondering -- i know there are mechanics in place to make this relatively unlikely, but what happens if someone dies?

does the player have to auto-leave the rp or make a new character or what?

They'd have to submit a new character, although there's no guarantee that that character will make it in at that time, or even at all.

The Aum Staff exists as well - but it's unlikely that you'll have access to it. At least not for a really long time.

Yeah you won't be able to use an Aum staff for a very long time, provided we ever gave you one. At best, you may get 1 throughout the entire game maybe.

Generally better to not plan on it being around just in case.

And if Emilee is the only one with staff levels to use it, she is gonna save it for someone who matters. Like let's be honest here, sure you'd want to save your team mates. But wouldn't you rather save your fated prince? Surely a staff that can make sure fairy tale tragedies don't happen to you is invaluable and too dangerous to waste in the battlefield!

If your healer is fully dead, I think there are bigger problems than just the fate of the Aum staff tbh.

She'll heal you, just if you're entirely dead she'd not bring you back. Seems entirely reasonable to me.

Indeed. But uh...yeah, there was a point where the boss had a stupid base damage so some stuff had to get changed.

Yeah...class bases for that class are quite powerful. Autoleveling didn't help lol
