  1. No, you can go back to Route 3 to catch the Starly line whenever you want.
  2. Oh you've got some real tough battles coming in the future. Good luck, you're gonna need it

    Swampertite

Nope, sorry. It should become available once Episode 19 eventually comes out.
  4. If you're dead set on keeping special attack, then speed would be the way to go, however I would recommend against special attack since Talonflame's special movepool is awful outside of its Fire STAB and it doesn't get any special Flying moves, making Gale Wings useless.
  5. Honestly if you're using it for your playthrough IVs don't really matter that much. A Pokemon with bad IVs can perform nearly as well as one with perfect IVs, so if you just wanted to use your own shiny you wouldn't be missing out on very much. Also for Alolan Raichu remember to not use a Thunder Stone on it until you get to Apophyll Beach, otherwise it will become Kantonian instead.
  6. At the Mosswater Market in the Peridot Ward, you can buy EV reset discs for each stat to bring them down to 0 in that stat so you can train up both Attack and Speed. You can also buy berries that lower the EVs by 10 points each on the second floor of the Obsidia Department Store as well as raising friendship.

    Starly

Yes you can catch Staravia on Route 3, but you actually gain access to that route a little while after getting your 10th badge (Fighting). You also have a 1/18 chance to get a Starly from the police Growlithe mystery egg.
  8. No problem! Also for future reference you can only catch Nidoran down in the Byxbysion Grotto and not up in the Wasteland itself if you weren't looking there already.
  9. You can buy a Nidoran-M in the Onyx Game Corner for 3,000 coins.

    18.4 Update?

    https://www.rebornevo.com/pr/download/ Here you go
  11. If you mean EVs instead of IVs, you can use the Power items that are purchased in the Obsidia Department Store and then looking up Pokemon that give the EVs you're looking for and farming those. If you do actually mean IVs it's a bit more complicated, but it involves finding Pokemon with perfect IVs and breeding them onto the Pokemon you want using a Destiny Knot (which transfers 5 of the parents' IVs to the child instead of the standard 3) and/or Power items (which transfer the holder's particular stat to its child).
  12. You can farm them from wild Luvdisc using a Pokemon with the ability Frisk and the move Thief. Frisk isn't even fully necessary since half the Luvdisc should hold them and you can pretty much just knock them out with Thief as fast as running away. If you want to optimize it further you can lead with a fainted Pokemon with Compound Eyes since that will increase the wild held item chance from 50% to 60%.
  13. I think the Metal Coat only becomes available after the 7th badge, even though the area that you get it is accessible before the gym battle. When you get the badge, the level cap goes from 55 to 60, so your Pokemon will all probably be level 55 or lower.
  14. The event is triggered in his gym post restoration, but before it you need to go to the rooftop in the Beryl Ward.
  15. He will only appear at night during I think clear weather, so make sure that you have both of those covered when you check for him.

    Resolved.

U-Turn is not an egg move for Flygon's line and although it used to be the case that the father could pass down a compatible TM move to the offspring, that feature was removed in Gen 6, though it wouldn't have worked anyway since Trapinch isn't able to learn U-Turn by TM (or any other way) until it evolves.
  17. Rendolf

    Resolved.

The TM for U-Turn is not available in the game as of Episode 18, so a lot of the Pokemon that should be able to learn it cannot yet, through legitimate means anyway.
  18. "hard mode, maybe" I- I don't even know what to say to that...
  19. Nah there's an event one you can get in the Rhodocrine Jungle via Beryl Cave if the weather is clear (maybe other weathers too, I can't remember) and you do NOT have an Ill-Fated Doll in your bag.
  20. When the city is restored, you'll only lose access to the part of the Grand Stairway that you originally entered from inside the Grand Gates with Cain and Radomus, the part that leads to the Citae d'Astrae. The part that you enter from the Grand Stairway itself that leads down to the sealed door where you first met Solaris is still accessible when you come back. And yes, you're right that the city will be restored the next time you come back. If you haven't already, I would recommend buying all the Pokemon from the vendor down in 7th Street since the reward you get for that is quite helpful, as well as buying all the Power items (and a decent supply of EV reducing berries) from the Department Store since EV training is also really helpful for winning tough fights.
  21. Sorry, but mining is the only way to get the fossils from gens 1, 3, and 4, unless someone trades them to you.
  22. I've seen this scene maybe 3 or 4 times, without it being sped up, and have never seen Luna there. But maybe I'm just blind too, who knows?
  23. For starters, is there a reason why you have Sunny Day on Ninetales instead of just using Drought? They have the same functionality except Drought will automatically set up for you when you switch in, allowing you to save a turn and a move slot. If your Ninetales currently has Flash Fire instead, you can just use an Ability Capsule to swap it over which you can buy for shards at the south of Agate Circus or the north of 7th Street You could replace Sunny Day with an attacking move, like Solar Beam for instance, the TM for which is available in the Beryl Library after you finish the Klefki sidequest. Charizard is mainly a special attacker, so I would recommend switching Brick Break for another special move. If you want to keep it a Fighting move, then I would say that Focus Blast is a great choice, especially since you now have Rock Climb and can get the TM for it outside of Pyrous Mountain. However, if you want to keep Brick Break in order to break through someone's screens, then I would suggest that you give Brick Break to one of your physical attackers instead, namely Beedrill or Metagross. For Beedrill, if you've completed the Mega-Z Ring sidequest, then I would strongly recommend getting the Beedrillite from the area you already should be in if you haven't already, since Mega Beedrill is a ton better than normal Beedrill. As far as moves go, I'd suggest to get rid of one or both of your setup moves in favor of more attacks. Beedrill is a pretty frail Pokemon so spending 2 turns trying to set up, it might get taken down already. Furthermore Mega Beedrill is really fast already so Agility isn't as useful and when it mega evolves it gets Adaptability so Focus Energy wouldn't give you the chance of a Sniper bonus, but if you wanted to keep one of them I would say Agility since it can be better for sweeping. To replace them you could use the aforementioned Brick Break or have a tutor teach something like Drill Run or Knock Off. Drill Run is an especially good choice since Ground is super effective on Poison, Rock, and Steel, three types that Poison Jab is ineffective against. Fell Stinger isn't exceptionally powerful off the bat, but if you can pull of the kill with it then Mega Beedrill would definitely become a force to be reckoned with, especially if you do decide to keep Agility. Manectric is a tough one, since you don't get access to its mega stone until Agate City and it doesn't have a very diverse movepool. The only thing I can really say here is check if it has a useful type for its Hidden Power (you could check Ninetales and Charizard's too, just to see). If the Hidden Power is something good like Ice then you could pretty much switch it in for any of your current moves (one of the Electric attacks, since you have 2 of them, although they do have their own strengths; Flamethrower, since you have 2 Fire types already; Electric Terrain, since it's only really useful sometimes). Sharpedo is your other option for a mega, but it is less crucial since normal Sharpedo is already pretty good, especially compared to Beedrill. However, if you want the mega stone you can get it in the northeast of the North Adventurine Woods, at the end of the Tauros/Heracross/Pinsir puzzle. Something nice in regards to Reborn's HMs, or TMXs as they're called, is that they can be taught and overwritten whenever you want. So that means you can switch out Sharpedo's Surf and Dive and just reteach them over each other as needed. I would at least recommend teaching something besides Surf, like Ice Fang for coverage (if you're going with Mega Sharpedo definitely get Ice Fang since it gets a Strong Jaw boost as well) or Protect to set up Speed Boost (if you don't have Speed Boost on it already definitely get it, same situation with the Ability Capsules as Ninetales). You can teach something instead of Dive as well if you want, but Dive does actually combo kind of well with Speed Boost too now that I think about it. And finally, Metagross. Metagross' mega is really good, but unfortunately it is not available in Reborn as of Episode 18. The only things I can really say about your current moves is that if you still want Brick Break but aren't giving it to Beedrill it wouldn't be a bad idea to swap it for Hammer Arm, since it's more accurate and doesn't drop your speed as well as breaking down screens. Also Bullet Punch can be useful for taking down the last bit of HP of an enemy (maybe over Iron Defense, but your choice). Those were all mainly general tips for your Pokemon and not really about the specific battle, but usually battles are easier the better your team is. Whenever I do this part of the game, I usually struggle on Cain/Shelly for a while and then beat the other two battles with ease, so you should be fine once you're past them. It would also definitely help for you to EV train your party members if you haven't already, but you're close to being done so it might not be worth it at this point. Sorry this went on so long, I guess I got carried away. Anyway, good luck!

    PickUp Teams

If you headbutt trees in the Beryl Ward you have a 5% chance of finding an Ambipom that can range from level 45 all the way up to 90. If you spend enough time doing it you should eventually be able to get 6 high level ones, and if they don't have Pickup off the bat you can use Ability Capsules to change them or just look for more.
