  1. Personally, I would swap out Espeon and Umbreon. I love them both, but I am not convinced they add much to your team as a whole. You have Weavile already for your Dark Typing already so no need to double up. Perhaps, go for something that can still handle its role with different typing? Maybe a superluck Togekiss? You can still get that wish and protect, plus Air Slash flinches for days. Its also quite a tank and the fairy flying could help cover some of that Fighting weakness your team has. Regarding Espeon, I just feel like there may be something more beneficial here. Maybe if you're not feeling Togekiss, consider adding Gardevoire? That will give you the Fairy and Psychic typing which is always good, plus Gardevoire is a beast. Additionally you could try out something like Tentacruel for its high Special Defense, Special Attack, and Speed? It gets access to some awesome poison moves, great water moves, and can even learn Ice moves to help with those pesky dragons. That will also help with your teams weakness to Fairy. You could try out Nidoking as well since he is Ground and will give you Electric immunity in addition to being a beefy tank with Fairy killing Poison. Additionally, Breloom and Lucario double up on your fighting. While one overlap of typing isn't bad, I typically try to avoid that on the main team and keep the other same-type mons in rotation.
  2. Get yourself a Shiny Vivillon. Not only is that thing an utter wrecking ball of a mon, the Reborn shiny skin is UNBELIEVABLY COOL
  3. See, while I understand the stats and all that arent great, you can adjust natures and EV train appropriately. I definitely think at least keeping him in rotation would be beneficial as the amount of fighting in snowy fields is far more common than I ever imagined.
  4. Monoflying for the win! The early game can be a little tough. Choosing a starter is tricky too because Rowlet is the only Flying starter but it loses the typing in its final evolution. That being said, Charizard is a flying type so I think its fair to choose Charmander and level him up through. Additionally, early game you can pick up a Hoothoot. Obviously not the best, but it gets the job done. Pick up a scatterbug for Vivillon and utterly wreck any single battle quiver dance/Hurricane for the late game. You can also grab yourself a Pidove. Don't actually use it, instead trade it for Old Amber in the mid game to get yourself and Aerodactyl. Togepi for Togetic (Spritzee for the early game from that event). You can also get yourself a Noibat or Swoobat. (Swoobat is actually really good early game as much as it pains me to say). Additionally you'll get access to Dragonite so theres a beast for you. Not to mention Hawlucha near the circus is a wreckingball with acrobatics. Altaria can be a good tank for you too. All in all its such a versatile type to use with some AMAZING mons.
  5. Do yourself a favor, and use Alolan Sandslash
  6. Hey Everyone, I finished Episode 18 and I was curious what you all thought of my team! Moving forward with speculation for Episode 19, let me know what you think of my team as well as any recommendations or tips you may have. Thanks! Aerodactyl: Lvl 93, Jolly Ability: Pressure Holding: Aerodactylite Rock Slide Fly Iron Head Thunder Fang Kingdra: Lvl 91, Bashful Ability: Swift Swim/Sniper (Depends on what's needed) Holding: Leftovers Dragon Dance Outrage Waterfall/Dive (just depends on the situation and terrain) Surf Magnezone: Lvl 90, Bold Ability: Sturdy Holding: Metal Coat Flash Cannon Metal Sound Magnet Rise Discharge Hippowdon: Lvl 90, Hardy Ability: Sand Stream Holding: Smooth Rock Stealth Rock Earthquake Fissure (Plan on removing, just don't know what I want as of yet) Crunch Salazzle: Lvl 87, Modest- NOTE: This one is kind of a floater on my team. She is awesome in a lot of ways, but definitely doesn't feel like she holds her own as much as the rest of the team. Ability: Corrosion Holding: Black Sludge Sludge Wave Flame Thrower Nasty Plot Dragon Pulse Weavile: Lvl 85, Adamant Ability: Pressure Holding: Expert Belt Ice Punch Night Slash Brick Break Knock Off As I said, any tips/recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I have other Pokemon in rotation as well: Vivillon, Galvantula, Escavalier, Heracross, Rapidash, Roserade, Rhyperior, Solrock, Altaria, Exegguotr, Garchomp, Alakazam, Metagross, and Aromatisse to name a few. I just did not think it necessary to add all of the descriptions for them as I have my main team. Thanks again!
  7. Honestly, get yourself a Multiscale Dragonite for your flyer, then grab yourself Metagross. Lastly, I'd recommend something that can change the weather for you. I used a Hippowdon which came in clutch as a stealth rock setter and immediate weather swap, but you already have yourself a ground type. You could try Abomasnow or Aurorus.
  8. Just going to throw this out there briefly... Excadrill is Ground/Steel. Scizor is Bug/Steel There is a repeated steel type in the first three mons you recommended lol. Powerful combo for sure, but just wanted to make that clear.
  9. Ever consider using Hippowdon? The sandstorm eliminates the Slush Rush of A. Sandslash. Plus you can Earthquake a lot of her team. In addition to Hippowdon, grab yourself a high level Steelix who will also be a bit of a wrecking ball. Sturdy makes him useful too. Hope that helps!
  10. Oh wow! for some reason my screen stopped it at Adrienne ha!
  11. Loving reading through this incredible journey! Hoping you come back to playing as there is still so much to do! Also I love the names that you come up with! Definitely entertaining to follow along! Keep up the good work. I would love to see how you fare against Titania and Hardy!
  12. Personally I agree that switching out Typhlosion would be a good move. I disagree with using Nidoking though. While I love Nidoking, I think that there is a pokemon that would be better suited for your team. As much as it pains me to say, Quagsire is amazing. Its Water/Ground typing is amazing and would help you out with Electric types, fire, rock, steel, poison, and even other ground types. Sure you get double grass weakness with it, but you've already handled Fern AND you have Blaziken and Dragonite that can handle any grass types you come up against.
  13. Just so you are aware, you do realize that you can change the Nature of you mons in 7th street, right? Like it is SUPER helpful!
  14. Sorry I totally missed that lol Whooops
  15. Also, be cautious of fighting type moves. It seems like alot of your team would get pretty manhandled by fighting types. While your mons are great, you have a lot of type overlapping. Piloswine is Ice/Ground, Golem is Ground/Rock, Aggron is Steel/Rock, Magneton is Steel/Electric. Like there is a lot of type overlap here. I would consider, especially if you have been getting stumped on one trainer in particular that you try to cover your weaknesses a little better. For example, do you actually need Golem? You have Aggron for your Rock coverage already and Piloswine for Ground. Both having Golem at that point is kinda beating a dead horse. I would HIGHLY RECCOMMEND that you keep these mons in your rotation, leveling them up along with your main team for support, for instance when you go up against the Fire Gym or Flying Gym where your Rock pokemon would come in handy. It might be good to swap Golem out of the main crew though. Considering where you are in the game alongside that lake, it might be worth catching something around there. Maybe get yourself a good Grass mon considering the Water, Ground, and Rock type gyms are still ahead of you. You can head back into Reborn city too and go to the Jasper Ward to get yourself a Pumpkaboo for a Gourgeist, that ghost typing can help too making you immune to Noel's normal attacks.. You could even get yourself a Shuppet for Bannette if you prefer that one since Mega-evolution is being incorporated. Either way, Gourgeist or Bannette would both offer some much needed Special Attackers for your team. Another great mon is Exeggutor, the Grass/Psychic or even Grass/Dragon depending on what you prefer/obtain is really great. They are both also pretty tanky. I keep an Exeggutor in my rotation and he saved me during the Rock gym. Additionally, you could go and get yourself Smoochum! Jynx is actually a great mon to have due to its high Special Attack and high Speed. It's a decent sweeper and even can be pretty technical as well being able to put the opponent to sleep or even confuse them too! Just a thought there. TBH, if you want a rock pokemon though, I would personally recommend getting a fossil pokemon (This may be something to consider for the future, because I don't remember when you get access to certain fossils/ the reviver at the museum in (I think) Spinel town. Personally, I used an Aerodactyl throughout the game and it utterly destroyed most anything it came into contact with especially once you can get Mega evolution. Tyrunt and Aurorus are great typing and stat wise. Archeops is similar to Aerodactyl- defeatist can make it wreck, but once weakened it starts to become weaker. Additionally, while it isn't a fossil, I know at some point in the game you can get Larvitar. It's always good to have a psuedo-legendary on your team. Also, not to rip apart your team too much, but the doubling up on the Steel type could get you into some trouble too down the line especially with the Ground gym. Magnezone is great, I actually run with one also and it has come in clutch and saved my ass more times that I can count. Magnet Rise and Flash Cannon are so useful. I love Aggron, he is actually one of my favorite pokemon, but for Reborn, I'm not sure he would be too necessary. Given the nature of your team and knowing what challenges lie ahead for you, I think you would also benefit from a Water type. You are right by a lake, try fishing around where you can, or maybe get an event pokemon from the ones available to you at the moment. It'll give you a lot of coverage moving forward. Sorry for the vomiting of information. I just love team building for this game. Lots of challenge throughout and it certainly forces you to expand your horizons and use things you normally wouldn't think to try!
  16. Noel was the normal type gym leader right? Just use that speed boosted blaziken and steam roll her whole team
  17. Okay hold up, how do you have legendary pokemon on your team??
  18. Honestly, I would recommend getting rid of your Seaking. My first playthrough I used one and while its Lightning Rod can be great, its overall stats just dont compare with SO MANY of the gym leaders and Meteor bosses that you face throughout the game. I'd recommend picking up either one of the starter water types if available through events (I know you can get Piplup, Oshawott, Popplio, and I think Mudkip from events, I just don't remember when in the game).
  19. Honestly, I’d say it depends on your team and what you want. I’ve never needed a Luxray and have personally found much better electric type alternatives: Magnezone, Ampharos, Galvantula to name a few. Nidoking/queen can utterly wreck and are pretty awesome throughout the game with their dual typing. Personally I think a Nido is a far better investment even though you can get one later on. You can always come back later and buy Shinx if you’re a dex completionist
  20. I didn’t play Rejuv... but for Reborn this is easy. Easiest: Amaria. My Kingdra solo swept her entire team. Hardest: Without a shred of doubt CIEL
  21. My team changed quite often over the course of my main playthrough. That being said, this is what I ended with: Aerodactyl: Lvl 90, Jolly, Ability: Pressure Holding: Aerodactylite Rock Slide Fly Iron Head Thunder Fang Kingdra: Lvl 90, Bashful, Ability: Swift Swim/Sniper (Depends on what's needed) Holding: Leftovers Dragon Dance Outrage Waterfall Surf Magnezone: Lvl 89, Bold, Ability: Sturdy Holding: Metal Coat Flash Cannon Metal Sound Magnet Rise Discharge Hippowdon: Lvl 88, Hardy, Ability: Sand Stream Holding: Smooth Rock Stealth Rock Earthquake Fissure Crunch Salazzle: Lvl 86, Modest, Ability: Corrosion Holding: Black Sludge Sludge Wave Flamethrower Nasty Plot Dragon Pulse Weavile: Lvl 83, Adamant, Ability: Pressure Holding: Expert Belt Ice Punch Night Slash Brick Break Icicle Crash
  22. All I am saying is that eventually she needs to be reunited with Tyrantrum. She had such a bond with it in the show.
  23. If you aren't set on a Steel Type Pokemon yet, I would HIGHLY recommend Magnezone. His Sturdy ability is a game changer and with his high Special Attack, Flash Cannon is extremely powerful. Not to mention you can use Discharge to paralyze enemy teams. Plus he would combo very well with your Swampert for double battles due to the Electric immunity of Swampert. Also, in regards to the recommendation of a good Ice Type, I think a Weavile would work amazing on your team. It would give you an added edge against the Ground Types you will face later on, also it will help immensely against the Flying Gym. It is one of the fastest Pokemon and has a very high Physical Attack. You can give him Ice Punch from the tutor in Peridot and can also give him Ice Shard for priority just in case you are worried about something out-speeding you (which should rarely happen). Not to mention, Weavile is the ultimate Dragon slayer. One Ice Punch kills pretty much any Dragon Type in one hit... He's a beast. Plus as an added bonus, you get a Dark Type on the team so you can always swap over to avoid a Psychic attack and abuse the immunity! Oh, also on your Staraptor. It might be good to swap out Double Edge with Return. Return would work amazing if its friendship is high enough. It gets STAB and no recoil which could be very helpful since you already will be taking recoil damage from Brave Bird. Honestly though your team is pretty well balanced. The only odd-duck to me is Silvally. I am not too sure how useful it really is in Reborn, especially as a Fighting Memory version. Don't get me wrong, a Fighting Type is SUPER helpful in Reborn, but I feel like a Silvally wouldn't have access to that great of Fighting Type moves to really exploit the typing advantages, even more-so because you don't have any Fighting Type moves on it. In my opinion, it seems like your weakest link. Then again I've never really used Silvally before, so maybe he is great. If you think replacing him could benefit you, there are plenty of fantastic Fighting Pokemon available. Scrafty and Heracross are great because they both can have the Moxie ability. Hawlucha is a boss with Acrobatics and High Jump Kick. Also Meinshao with Regenerator ability and High Jump Kick can be a good sweeper. Lucario is another great choice as it could provide you with the additional Steel Typing. Gallade or Medicham could give you a Mega Evolution and the dual Psychic typing. Conkledurr is a WALL. Toxicroak could give you the Poison Type as well to help out against Fairy Types. Those are the first that popped into my head, but keep in mind the additional typing as you re-evaluate your team so that you do not double up. Good luck as you progress!
  24. What about a monotype challenge. That usually makes things fairly hard, but it certainly is an interesting twist. You could even do a mono-nuzlocke if you're up to it! I personally have always wanted to try a Normal Type mono-run, but I havent gotten around to it!
  25. I voted for Ghost as there is actuallly a decent amount you can get steadily throughout the game, counting Rowlett since he will become Decidueye. Another idea here, but I feel like a Normal Type playthrough could be very challenging but fun too! Normal is an extremely versatile type and there are some unique pokemon multi-typed with normal: Sawsbuck- Normal/Grass, Drampa- Normal/Dragon, Braviary- Normal/Flying, Wigglytuff Normal/Fairy, Diggersby Normal/Ground, Bibarel Normal/Water, Bewear Normal/Fighting, Oranguru Normal/Psychic, Heliolisk Eletric/Normal, Pyroar Fire/Normal. Like you could put together a really unique team with the normal typing that I feel often gets overlooked. The challenge here is that there are A LOT of fighting types that you will encounter, as well as steel/rock which can make a normal playthrough rough early on.
