  1. Baneful Bunker is amazing. Also, I cannot tell you the amount of times Haze has nerfed all the buffs ive made so it is certainly a good mon. That being said, I rarely encountered myself losing due to the opponent buffing, so it might not be worth it. Cant hurt to have it though and you can always re-learn it if you think you need it for a specific fight.
  2. Also the desert works well, Or the Once Upon a Somewhere (i think thats what it is called) before Titania's Gym. You can usually find a good mix of 60s through 90 there!
  3. Hey! So I love the team, glad to see you are putting that Naganadel to good use! I certainly think your team is solid! The only thing that slightly concerns me with the team is the doubling up on bug type between Heracross and Scizor. Both are amazing mons, but too much of one type can make things challenging. Then again, this is reborn, and sometimes you need to have a couple of the same type to take on an enemy lol I definitely think the steel type is kind of necessary for this game too.. Personally, I've been using my Magnezone since it was a wee Magnemite from Shades gym. Magnezone is a tank and with Study is perfect for getting that paralysis, lowering spc defense with metal sound, or tanking a hit and using magnet rise then healing up to sweep against anything that would use earthquake. Overall has been a literal beast on my team. That being said, you do you dude. You mentioned Aegislash too though and let me tell ya that thing is an absolute monster! You can swords dance and then shadow sneak for that priority move if that is something you like about Scizors Bullet punch. Plus that knights shield move is such a nerf to the enemy. I certainly think one would add to your team immensely and provide a bit more coverage for you when needed!
  4. OH another very good fighting type is Scrafty, the Dark/Fighting Type. It gets access to great moves like High Jump Kick and can have the moxie ability to boost its attack each time you defeat a pokemon with it. In addition, if you want to take the time to breed it, you can get that thing with Drain Punch and even Dragon Dance!
  5. Ohhh I forgot that was the event Dratini. You could go for a Aqua Jet then for the priority move if you care that much. Also, Fire Punch could be useful for taking out Ice Types that could give it issues OR Steel Wing for Handling Fairies. Up to you! Also, I dont have spare Dratini's as I have yet to go catch one, but it sounds like the N1Dude has ya covered!
  6. I usually go for: Dragon Dance Dragon Claw (In case the opponent has fairies, you dont get locked into using Outrage again, which would cause your confusion and free attacks against you) Fly Extreme Speed (Priority move just incase you worry about the opponent having a priority attack against you You can always give your tank some leftovers so it will continue to heal, or sitrus berries if you have a common amount of them!
  7. The movesets are alright, the only thing that stands out though is that you have no buff/debuff moves which can be critical for this game. For example, Metal Sound, which can be learned by Magnezone, harshly decreases the special defense of a pokemon making it much much easier to kill. Or Dragon Dance buffs attack and speed by one full stage making it much more of a threat on the battlefield. Things like that can be game changing. Even something as little as smokescreen can really mess up the enemies you'll face. That being said, the attacking moves you have for the most part seem alright. Magnet Rise is also good for Magnezone so you can avoid Earthquakes, but its not necessary. On your Heatmor, you probably dont need ALL those fire moves. Having one or two is fine, but you're limiting yourself with moves that he could learn to be more devastating to other opponents. One example of this is the move Stockpile that it can learn. This buffs all of its defenses. You could make your Heatmor incredibly hard to kill by stockpiling to make him a wall. Also, look at Swalot. It can learn some other types of moves, like body slam that can paralyze the target, but you have it pretty limited to only poison type moves. Feraligatr also should probably have an Ice Punch. It really helps deal with dragons, ground, flying, and grass types. Maybe in place of Hydro Pump as surf is also a practical move. When it comes to abilities, I'll break it down. Swalot is best to use either Sticky Hold or Gluttony Feraligatr should really be used with Sheer Force. It gets rid of added effects to the opponent, so no flinching etc. , but it increases the overall damage of the moves. Swoobat is best with Simple, as you can buff yourself for twice as much per move with that ability. The others are good. Lucario would be good, but you would be doubling up on steel type with your magnezone. Superpower is a great move on Ferligatr but at the same time it weakens it pretty brutally. Hawlucha is great too but then youd have multiple flying pokemon. You could always go for Machamp too if youre skeptical of Heracross, but let me tell you that Heracross is a force to be reckoned with.
  8. So Honchkrow with Superluck can be fantastic. You’ll get hella-crits. Plus the psychic immunity is nice to have and it can put a hurting on a couple of the upcoming gyms. I honestly would avoid utilizing Ribombee, it’s decent mid game, but once you reach agate circus it’s shelf life is over and it’s not really worth anything. If you’re looking for a steel type, Alolan Sandslash is pretty OP. With the right ability, after you pull off Hail, you will outspeed pretty much anything-even if they’ve buffed their speed. He also gets access to good steel and ice moves making him very versatile. Plus he will wreck a good amount of the upcoming leaders that you’ll face with the right move set. I agree that Dragalge can be a great Pokémon, but it’s very slow, perhaps consider a part member with Trick Room to offset this? Zebstrika is also pretty great given its high speed which makes it great for taking on Ciel and her flying gym, as well as Amaria and her water gym.
  9. I’m not really understanding the use of Simisear. It’s honestly just not that great of a Pokémon beyond the first gym or so. Couple that with the fact that it has the move acrobatics, but it’s holding an item... It just doesn’t make sense to me to put time and effort into training that. Heatmore is great, so I’d stick to just him. I also noticed there are some types that are beneficial to have on the team that you’re lacking in. Fighting type, for example, is a very useful type to have in this game and comes in handy immensely against Titania and Hardy. Maybe look into some decent fighting type Pokémon? Off the top of my head, Regenerator Meinsheo is pretty amazing. Also Heracross is fantastic with Moxie! It would also provide you with something to take on Dark Pokémon with more ease as you don’t really have anything for that at the moment.
  10. I have Charmander, but once I caught Fletchling, Talonflame will probably be the go to for fire type. I’m not a huge fan of using starter Pokémon in my main teams if I can avoid it.
  11. Well you don’t really have anything with Flying moves, which can honestly sweep Samson (the fighting gym leader of Agate Circus). I’d recommend maybe getting a Vivillon? Vivillon can be terrifyingly powerful with the right move set. With the compound eyes ability and a wide lens she never misses a hurricane. Start off by sleep powdering the opponent, quiver dance a couple times and use hurricane to completely sweep teams. You can also use bug buzz to deal with pesky Psychic and Dark types from Radomas and Luna. When it comes to Silvally I’m not the best to recommend as I’ve never really used it before. Another Pokémon I’d recommend is Magnezone. You can pick up magnemite from Shades Gym and if you have the Yureyu Key (you may have to wait til after agate for that I don’t remember for sure, but either way Magneton is still great) you can evolve magneton in the locked room in the gym. Magneton is great for the dealing with Ciel and her flying type Pokémon. Also his sturdy ability is great for getting off revives, metal sound for added weaknesses, or anything you think may be beneficial. Lastly, aside from Flygon (if it uses dragon dance) your team doesn’t appear to be the quickest. It might be worth looking into Solrock/Lunatone as a Trick Room setter (or another Pokémon that can use it) so that way you can move first against the many speedy Pokémon you’ll be facing.
  12. Hey Everyone, I just started my first ever playthrough of Pokemon Rejuvination! To add a little fun twist to it, I am doing a Mono-Flying run. Let me know any tips as I know nothing about this game! I have beaten Venam at the first gym with ease and am embarking into Route 2. I just got my wallet stolen and am looking for that girl before entering the cave. Keep me updated for any upcoming Flying-mons that I should look out for! My current team is: Noibat, Quirky Lvl 23 Ability: Moves: Gust Supersonic Absorb Screech Vivillon, Bashful Lvl 23 Ability: Compound Eyes Moves: Protect Harden Gust Psybeam Woobat, Brave (yeah I know, I'll change it later), Lvl 23 Ability: Klutz (Once again... I know it's awful and I will change it later) Moves: Confusion Heart Stamp Air Cutter Assurance Fletchinder, Serious, Lvl 20 Ability: Gale Wings Moves: Peck Quick Attack Tackle Ember Since it is so early, everyone on the team is subject to change... Except Vivillon, I will probably keep that one forever. Moving forward and looking ahead to the late game, I am definitely interested in getting Hawlucha, Togekiss, (possibly) Pellipper or Swanna, Aerodactyl, maybe a Honchcrow or Dragonite... We shall see. Thanks!
  13. Wait, which time are you encountering this Garchomp? I seem to recall fighting it a couple of times. There is that one time where they intend for you to lose at the Volcano, but you could technically win with a destiny bond. I know you fight him at least one more time, if not more. The most recent one I remember is in Agate City. I honestly OHKO'd his Garchomp with my Kingdra that time. Kingdra is pretty tanky, so after pulling off one Dragon Dance, I used Outrage (Can be learned from one of the move tutors in the Peridot Ward after reconstruction of Reborn City) and immediately stomped it out of existence.
  14. Your team is actually very balanced! I am not sure personally if I would use a mega stone for Garchomp, since mega evolving reduces his speed. I think Mega Alakazam, Mega Swampert, or even Mega Ampharos would be a better choice. My only thought here though is that you do not have a Flying Type mon on your team. It isnt exactly necessary, however utilizing Fly is insanely useful, plus they tend to make for great sweepers. Honestly, in my opinion, I would swap out Garchomp all together since it makes you double up on the Ground Typing with Swampert. You could add in Salamence/Dragonite in it's place for the Flying Type addition or even Altaria (and could even be mega evolved for that additional Fairy Typing too for more coverage! Also, if you go with a Dragonite that has Multiscale as its ability, you can take the first turn to Dragon Dance and pretty much sweep from there depending on the move set you choose. Up to you, but I personally think Garchomp is the weaker link on your team, even though he is a fantastic mon.
  15. Hey Everyone, Another question for you all... Has anyone else run across the book in the downstairs of the Grand Hall mentioning a list of Gym Leaders? It says that many of the names seem familiar, however one you do not recognize: "Euphie." Any ideas as to who this may be? Has the character been seen at all yet or is there a quest with this individual? It really sparked my interest and I am assuming this is probably teasing something in Episode 19, but I figured I would reach out in case it was something important that I completely missed. Let me know! Thanks!
  16. The unfortunate part is that there are more fights after that battle as well, without the chance to save in between. That being said, definitely stock up on revives (I prefer revival herbs as they are cheaper than Cotton Candy, yet fully heal). I know for me, utilizing Rock Slide pretty much carried me through that entire chain of battles. Another decent thing that I did was Hippowdon for Sandstorm and setting up stealth rocks, then I used Magnezone and just Discharged since Hippo is immune. This wiped out the majority of Shelly. What team are you currently running with? Maybe some of us could spot some holes or even develop strategies around your team for the fight(s) ahead. ALSO, if you have yet to get the Mega/Z Ring, I would HIGHLY encourage it. I was stuck on this fight for a bit, but once I got Aerodactylite and the Mega Ring, I was able to pretty much sweep with Aerodactyl, save for a few times of swapping out to heal. There is a bit of an annoying/lengthy quest depending on if you have bought out the Pokemon on 7th St. or not, but in the end, the reward is well worth it. If your team has Mega Evolution potential, utilize it. It can be the thing that saves you.
  17. Hey Everyone, I am about pretty much done with Episode 18 and I was curious what you all thought of my team! Moving forward with speculation for Episode 19, let me know what you think of my team as well as any recommendations or tips you may have. Thanks! Aerodactyl: Lvl 90, Jolly Ability: Pressure Holding: Aerodactylite Rock Slide Fly Iron Head Thunder Fang Kingdra: Lvl 90, Bashful Ability: Swift Swim/Sniper (Depends on what's needed) Holding: Leftovers Dragon Dance Outrage Waterfall Surf Magnezone: Lvl 89, Bold Ability: Sturdy Holding: Metal Coat Flash Cannon Metal Sound Magnet Rise Discharge Hippowdon: Lvl 88, Hardy Ability: Sand Stream Holding: Smooth Rock Stealth Rock Earthquake Fissure (Plan on removing, just don't know what move to use) Crunch Salazzle: Lvl 86, Modest Ability: Corrosion Holding: Black Sludge Sludge Wave Flame Thrower Nasty Plot Dragon Pulse Weavile: Lvl 83, Adamant Ability: Pressure Holding: Expert Belt Ice Punch Night Slash Brick Break Icicle Crash (Swapping, just haven't landed on what move I want yet.) As I said, any tips/recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I have other Pokemon in rotation as well: Vivillon, Galvantula, Escavalier, Heracross, Rapidash, Roserade, Rhyperior, Solrock, Altaria, and Aromatisse to name a few. I just did not think it necessary to add all of the descriptions for them as I have my main team. Thanks again!
  18. Gotcha, I haven't done any trading with my play throughs either, not that I am opposed to do so, but I only recently updated the game. That being said, the pokemon I referenced can certainly be caught and added to the team later on and I definitely think you should keep them in mind moving forward. Harvest is an insanely useful ability in this game as berries are not the most common thing early on. I personally love Tropius, the typing is useful and his defenses are spread fairly balanced. Also, you will be coming up to an area where a flying type pokemon will be quite useful with combating fighting types... The museum honestly is not terribly far away! You are actually quite close now that you have beaten the orphanage. It is still a little bit away but honestly, you will make it there soon so Lileep/Cradily can definitely be added in soon. Of the pokemon you mentioned in rotation, Ludicolo is the one I would recommend always keeping on your main team. Pulling off a rain dance with a Swift Swim Ludicolo will guarantee him to outspeed his opponent. Having a solid water type on the team is a necessity and it will come in handy pretty much throughout the entirety of the game. You could also run Rain Dish as the ability for added healing factor if the speed isnt that important to you, but I think Swift Swim is more helpful. Also something to consider here, but if you breed your Ludicolo and get yourself a Lotad, then train it to lvl 36 without evolving it, it will learn Energy Ball which is one of the best special grass type moves, although I am sure you have that covered on your team haha.
  19. I do have some recommendations for you for pokemon! If you can get one through trading, I'd recommend a Snover which will help immensely against those pesky bug types, but also double so against flying types which can help later on with Ciel (the bane of my existence). Shiinotic is an interesting pokemon with the fairy typing! Another great grass that could help with bug type is Cradily for the rock typing. That will help against fire, flying, ice, and bug! Ferrothorn is great for being a wall and setting up leech seeds. The last pokemon that I think could be useful would be a Poison Healing Breloom with Spore!
  20. I noticed you don't have a solid ground type pokemon which will be extremely useful during the playthrough.. Maybe try to get your hands on a Seismetoad or Swampert? The ground typing is nice for electric immunity plus earthquake is a thing.
  21. I love chatting about Reborn. Big into strategies and discussing team builds! Let me know some of your favorite stories of the game!

Thanks guys! Right now my favorite moment was learning that Kingdra can solo Amaria's entire gym lol Dragon Dance dive utterly wrecks her

      doombotmecha

Isn't Kingdra on her team too? Lol trust no one, not even yourself.

IT IS!!! But outrage is also available from a move tutor which makes a physical Kingdra wreck like everything!

  22. Hey everyone, So I am attempting to get the Razor Claw to evolve my Sneasel BUT I am missing the last department sticker... I realize that I left for Agate Circus without saving the man down in the railnet and now he is gone... I heard that you can still obtain the sticker with completing the railnet restoration, but I paid it off and checked the lost and found, but there is no sticker. What do I do? Thanks!

    Poliwag???

Ohhh that makes sense as to why I've never seem one. I'll need to adjust my time because I can only play at night!
  24. jbastian1

    Poliwag???

Hey everyone, I was going through my game, just beat Titania, and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a Poliwag? I love Poliwrath and wouldn't mind using one for the dual typing. Let me know! Thanks!!
  25. Honestly, considering you will eventually be facing Ciel, you really do not have much in the way of Flying coverage aside from Ampharos and Mamoswine. Both are great, but she certainly can combat both of those with ease.. Honestly, I would recommend bringing on Solrock/Lunatone and a Rhyperior (Rhydon can be caught just outside of Calcenon before facing Charlotte). If you Trick Room with Solrock/Lunatone, you can pretty much sweep both Charlotte and Ciel with just the Rhyperior. I'd recommend giving the Wide Lense to Rhyperior for higher accuracy with Stone Edge for one shotting or even Earthquake (although that one wont help with Ciel). Lycanrock could be good too, although he isn't quite as tanky... I would also recommend heading to 7th street and getting the Abra. Alakazam is a beast and extremely fast which will help immensely with Samson, the fighting type leader.
