......... Ren started out ok But his motive to turn is.... It's not very good. For those of you who don't remember Ren joined Xen because the player fulfilled his dream of getting his town to stop being secluded and be more accepting of outsides Except Ren wanted to do that himself and got upset when the player did it for him And apparently the next step from there was for Ren to join Xen ........... Basically Ren's motive for ending up as an antagonist isn't good and he hasn't really done much as one I may be forgetting something, but I'm pretty sure that's why Ren isn't very liked.

Considering how difficult it is to get Poiple in the first place I don't think that it's that big of a deal Also since you only get the one, it's not like you can try for IVs (if that matters to you) Saphira may have a counter, or she may not. But I'm fairly certain that not many people are actually going to bother catching and evolving all the mons that you need for Naganadel. So I don't think it got released too early. If you have it, then you deserve it.

The Z ring could always Mega evolve, something about that the stone used to make the Z ring does the same thing as a Key stone You just didn't get any Mega stones until the Battle Tree Except the one given to you by Dexio or Sina I believe I personally don't really mind not having the Mega Z ring In the main games you got both fairly early since Mega Evolutions and Z moves were the star mechanic of their respective games For fan games, especially Reborn and Rejuv, them being late game items make more sense as they are meant to be the ultimate techniques. But it's up to the devs to decide when we get it.

Yep. During a cut scene if there's no dialogue you can usually the quick save button. I found it very useful in gauntlets and when battles take place after a long stretch of dialogue

Reborn often changes certain mechanics like the field effects being introduced with terrains and seeds which were introduced in Sun and Moon, but those are, in my opinion, improvements on what already exists and they create more challenging and interesting scenarios. But for the most part when the main games introduce a new mechanic it is usually implemented into Reborn as is. There's the thing where badges used to give a stat boost, but was removed from Reborn as it was no longer a thing in the main games, and hasn't been for a while. So the leveling thing is just the devs being as faithful to the mechanics of the main games as they can.
