Fates and Awakening based the ending certain characters got based on their S rank. However, in 3h the highest you can get is A(a+) so instead it's based on who fight next to each other more often. Meaning if you wanna "hook up" some of them you gotta base your tactics around that...

Ooh wee. It was more simple back then. Though I like the idea of it now being based on realism. The more you fight with each other the more you bond too. It’s like a shonen manga lol.

I get that, but it kinda rubs me wrong as it messed with a few of my endings 

but Explorers of Sky's birthday was like 2 weeks ago...

Emerald was the first Pokemon game I had, and Hoenn is still my favorite region even today!

Red, Blue and especially Green on the game (with there manga design) has me so pumped up I have to give it to them. It’s literally kanto again but it’s still a new pokemon game. Still something to look forward too!

Aren’t we all Gen 8 will change Pokemon entirely since Masuda may not be directing it anymore. If it doesn’t, they can just keep it. We need (and deserve) change.

Amethyst too, probably! Since the Gym's theme is a version of Sky Tower's theme on steroid and Rhodochrine Jungle's soundtrack is a remix of Primal Dialga's theme, maybe the same could be said of her ^^

Wow. Judging from your guys' experiences, I really missed out a lot on this series huh. I didn't fully appreciate these games as much as I did when I was a child, this time will be different I suppose.

Oh lovely! Minecraft is such a fun game for me as well, despite not having as much to do as the average AAA game, the very process of digging around and exploring overland is really fun, even before you get into the real "meat" of mining, fighting, and crafting.

Just dumb fun is what you'll probably get from it, but that's quite worth 

Update: Getting the hang of it now. I'm starting to see the real appeal of this game now

At this point, it's either going to be some completely random giveaway or until they find a reason to have AZ randomly appear in another game or something.   I was going to say 'until the Gen 6 remakes' but that just reminds me of GF abandoning the chance for an expanded Kalos or something by choosing not to make Z.

Eternal Floette seems better for Anna, imo. Mostly because she would treat this precious little flower better~

USUM  Lusamine.... 

You know I would have really loved USUM if SM didn’t exist. These are the two specific things that made me not want to remember it at all: 

1. Lake of the Moone - so many things could have been done with this area, certainly for an alternate universe. Instead we get absolutely nothing.
2. Ryuki - wasted character. They gave no background to him whatsoever. 

True, those are two pretty big holes that are left unfilled 

Ehh I feel those two things alone aren't major enough to condemn the whole game , which did improve over SM  in other areas. Ryuki exists simply so there could be a dragon specialist. And he does have background, just not a very deep one.

as for lake of the moon it was pretty underutilized., I agree.

though im totally on board for that hard mode you mentioned. it was one of the best features bw2 added, and subsequently got axed for ??? reason.

The problem with Gen II is that the level curve basically becomes a flat line once you reach Ecruteak City because you can go basically anywhere from there.

Even then Claire is still a legit threat though even if in part due to Dragons still being rather hard to deal with at the time.

@Skull Servant HG/SS maybe were the easiest, but the same doesn’t qualify for GSC. Those games were entirely different from their remakes because the Physical/Special split weren’t implemented yet. Plus the non existence of certain items and TMs.

I do agree that our experience with the games have made us basically experts already. I just believe that GF can still pull a Reborn on the games, even without the field effects and everything.

@Gentleman Jaggi Claire, Whitney, Morty and even Jasmine were really hard to deal with atleast on the first or three times. I also had to level all my mons to 50 before I challenged the league. I generally don’t miss the grinding of it all, but the sense of preparing yourself for the battle is something that is now profoundly lost with the recent games I must say.
