Mini FMW update- It seems Ekki Shiki isn't a fan of RNG chance either, since she'll find a way to hit you no matter what.........Hard-standard ramps up her Personal Skill's effect to obscene levels, with her casting the Strike (100% accuracy) spirit if there is any doubt she won't hit.

Apparently there was a RWBY AMA a few days ago; just found out. Here is list of the relevant reveals (with links to the tweets), in case you haven't seen it. Kind of disappointed they nixed one popular theory outright, but they did give a name for Qrow's weapon. Also, @Alistair

FMW Stage 61 complete. The last spit up stage, featuring the most adorable umbrella to ever exist as the boss.
SpoilerI actually tried to do this stage on Hard-challenger mode (basically a bit below Lunatic difficulty) and couldn't keep one my more fragile units alive for more than 1 turn, while half of my units could barely hit the most generic of mooks..........had to switch back to Hard-standard.
Kogasa actually keeps a certain 'ability' she has in canon: leaning heavily on the Forth Wall. All three of her danmaku fields had some something to surprise the player:
-first was just her spelling out her catch phrase with the field;
- second was a field that boosts her accuracy by 100,000% to surprise the player (it actually did, though it was moot on Hard-standard where she casts Strike [100% accuracy] every turn)
-third created this:

SpoilerThe younger Aki Sister's blocking sprite. How am I just seeing this now? Never expected to find so much humor in a giant sweet potato
SpoilerAlso, the three Fairies of Light unlocked their last attack. Aside from being adorable (and being my avatar), it also patches up their biggest weakness (lack of a good Post-movement attack). @Wolfox

FMW 4 update: Stage 60 (Reimu path) clear. Like the last one of these split off stages, it was fairly easy--mostly just a way to level up some lagging units before the difficulty spikes again.
Nue herself proved to be fairly annoying, since her S rank in night made Sky terrain rank go up to S as well.........on top of her high mobility, skills and danmaku field effects, she became a very agile real type (hard to hit with high accuracy) that could hit like a truck at point blank thanks to her Shotgunning skill (range one attacks get a 20% damage boost).
I would say I was going to miss her boss theme (first spoiler) if I wasn't already going to change it. Her player theme (second) isn't bad, but I like the Heian Alien remix better. Hell, her whole shtick this stage was that she wasn't changing her act, so her keeping this theme makes sense thematically. @Yonomori Benio: it's a basic remix of it, but I think I saw you liked Heian Alien

Well, FMW 4 certainly pulled off something interesting. Instead of doing the same 'route split based on Main Character' thing from the past three games (and SRW games in general), these three missions are all mandatory, but we choose what order we do them in. The roster is split up between the three, but the first stage was fairly simple......if frustrating because the terrain provided a 15% evasion bonus
SpoilerThe teams
The main boss of this stage was Medicine Melancholy, a doll(?) yokai. Even if she's a bit creepy, her theme sure is good---someone on Youtube commented it reminded them of a Kirby level theme.

SpoilerYuuka appears for the third time as an optional boss of the series. Still OP as all hell and near impossible to kill on any Hard difficulty or higher (especially since you only have 1/3 of your roster), though she does give good money if you succeed. With both sword and shield defense along with bunshin skill (auto-dodge) all at 65% activation rates, 2200 armor backing up who knows how much HP, and the terrains 15% evasion bonus, killing her would probably completely exhaust your resources (or your patience/sanity) before you beat her. I really dread when we are forced to fight Yukka. So much pain will probably be had, all of it mine.
Sidenote to above: Has anyone else noticed quite a few killer character (not necessarily psychotic, but possibly) use parasols as (melee) weapons. Aside from Yuuka as an older example (I think she used it all the way back in TH 4), we have more recent examples from animation such as Harime Nue (Kill la Kill) and Neopolitan (RWBY). Anyone have any other examples? @Wolfox

Finally played FMW 4 again, after a week long break
where most of my free time was spent reading/catching up on 2 long RWBY fanfics.Apparently morale lowing/limiting is going to be the gimmick of a certain group of enemies for the rest of the game..........what joy. Two very annoying stages back to back. I was going to do a more detailed stage breakdown
complaintbut I don't feel too much like it, since it was just struggling to keep morale up all stage (and then beating the boss---who retreats at 30% HP-----which is the skill skill point). And one of the only two original characters makes her formal debut (after spending the last three games as a furball). VERY cute character and final attack---for now. I recommend watching
SpoilerAlso, very well done theme music, fitting of the character
