CHAPTER 15: Snow White and and antivirus system installation. LONG CHAPTER WARNING! GET YOUR POPCORN AND ENJOY! Each and every single one of the people who know me, understand just how painful it was for me to write this chapter. Why? Because it is the Terra chapter and I will lose about 95% of my brain cells while mentioning her. So, we will refer to her as "the annoying hammergirl". "Annoying" is quite a mild word to describe what "it" (not she) really is, but oh well! Lack of creativity? Probably my cells are at a low enough level to get writer's block already! Anyways, after getting a tan defeating Charlotte, our goal was to go to Ametrine. With Shelly. To get there, we cleared firstly the PULSE Avalugg. Then, we got there easily. By climbing another snowy path. As soon as we got there, we defeated a virus and collected a Sticker, taking a first taste of Gen I, before having to face the annoying hammergirl. Oh, we also unveiled the backstory of ZEL. Quite an interesting backstory that we aren't allowed to read again, because the diary is supposedly locked with a magical force, so when you try to interact with it again, it does nothing. Which is a bit inconvenient, because in my first run I had to soft reset 3 times to get the grasp of the story, since it was the only way to hear it again. VS PULSE Avalugg The mystery of the mysterious benefactor (AKA Heather) was unfolded before us soon. Blake, Heather's guardian (?) hid all the city's food, and Heather was secretely feeding the citizens under his nose. He found out and, as a good Meteor Guardian, locked Heather in. Like what Corey did, but in a more brutal way. I begin to see a pattern with Heather's "dads" or "guardians". In the process of saving her, we find Blake's porn magazines Cal, who reconciles with Shelly and offers useful information about his arrogant, also annoying brother. Blake must be the annoying hammergirl's boyfriend. The speak like they come straight out of Elohell. Bronze 5 would be my guess. Unless they created Tinfoil division. They'd be stars in that one. Ahem, I keep getting sidetracked by idiots! So hard to focus on actual facts now! So, after solving Blake's house's puzzle (he was stupid enough to need hints hidden to remember the password. Not surprising for an idiot of Blake's calibre) we went ahead with Shelly and rescued Heather! Who became a truly nice girl, and even acknowledged my help, after reconciling with her best friend, in a very touching moment! At last, we have another ally! By the way Heather, the answer is "No". Not everyone would endanger themselves to feed an entire city of strangers secretely. Only a good person would. With this done, Heather and Shelly go on riding the latter's Salamence and I rejoin Cal. And have a nice goose-chase vs Blake. Who keeps acting like his true self. Fern reloaded. A jerk. We smack some Meteors (relatively) easily (not very easily though) and, after some point Cal rides his Charizard to help our aerial unit (AKA Heathermence) and I join Shelly and keep double battling vs all of Team Meteor! By the way... Come on Shelly, why isn't your Venomoth named after me? Or your Scolipede... Please make it a thing Ame, she even hugged me in Calcenon! I'M HER FAVOURITE! Gotta say, I love Shelly's determination. I'M RIGHT BEHIND YOU, GIRL! Wait, whaaaa? I'm not? ASTER?! Yes, I will battle you, I need TMX Waterfall, and thank you for your change of heart and help after Eclipse's incident. It shocked me too. But we have to, like HAVE TO do it now? In the middle of a chase? And Jesus Christ, do you have to be THAT strong? Seriously, why Aster isn't Reborn's champion already? Also, do I have to get destroyed by everyone after destroying Samson? Is it divine retribution for abusing Big Top Arena with Acrobatics? *Sigh*... Anyways, enjoy watching myself struggling vs Aster. I defeated him twice, but first win was about 70% luck, so I decided to F12 it. Then I realised that my program wasn't recording, so fuck that. And I recorded it again. Still, his extreme luck found like 10 thousand ways to screw me up. Crits, Freeze hacks, it's all there. By the way, Magmortar and Electivire are super ugly and have stupid coverage moves. Ice Punch and HP Ice? In an Icy Cave? Seriously? Heat Wave that melts Ice and makes Water conduct electricity of Thunderbolts and Thunder Punch? Can I fight the annoying hammergirl now? Can't be as hard as this one was. VS ASTER So, I get TMX Waterfall in this pleasant (NOT) break from the main story. And I advance, to fight the idiot. The only thing that might be colder than the Ametrine Peak is Blake's jokes. But it makes sense. Ice type ex-Gym leader. But, even though he defeated Shelly, he is easy! I take him down on my second try, quite easily. At last, thank God, an easy victory! I had started to think that everything from now on would be hell. Aster/Eclipse with Aya as teammate, Charlotte, Aster again... VS BLAKE Blake "gets rekt", the flees together with his fleas, Heather takes the Ruby Ring and leaves with Shelly, Cal takes me down to Ametrine City centre (THANK YOU!) and we have the valuable, yet obvious information that the annoying hammergirl lied about the Ametrine sleeping signal. So, we go back to Agate Circus to confront her. We interrogate her with Ciel and Samson and she admits to be a Meteor. Then she flees too. In the Digital void that Gen I was. Aaaand I'm underleveled again. I refuse to get destroyed by her, since that would be a massive blow in my ego and my pride, so I decide to grind first... Finally, when I'm ready, I dive into the digital chaos, feeling the tingle of my body turning into 1s and 0s and search for the annoying hammergirl though stupid NPCs. Oh, a Mewtwo. Get destroyed. Yes, this is your destiny, now STFU and get your purple a$$ out of here, whining Overpowered raidboss. VS T3RR4 The team I decided to use to face the annoying hammergirl was the following one: And, without further ado, behold the computer format I performed/installation of AVAST's latest antimalware/Gen I nightmare I faced. Or the one Terra faced. Yes, I am healed now. I can mention her without having a nervous twitch. YEEEAASS. A Ground type specialist went down on first try by a Poison monorunner. Good job Terra, keep saying yourself you are good. We all need to lie to ourselves sometimes. So, we get our 12th Badge, the Gravity one, the TM for Bulldoze, we enable the TMX Waterfall's outside-of-battle usage, which is great, since we now have to go save Amaria and Titania. Or Team Meteor from that redhead vicious murderer who thinks that is better than them. Yes Titania, you're a better murderer than Team Meteor, good job. Oh, Gravity Badge also gets the Level Cap up to Lv.75. Exactly where it was before. Terra, you're useless even for raising level caps. Ahem, no more rant, no more salt, I'm freeeeeeeeeeeee! I hope all the salt I poured made your popcorn tastier. You know, the one I suggested you got at the very start of this chapter. See, everything happens for a reason! Till the next chapter of this pooooiiisonous run, when we will save Amaria, defend Fiore mansion and get our next Badge vs Ciel! Till then, enjoy everyone!

True, I hadn't considered the type change of Explosion due to the Electric Terrain. You can, if you find him an appartment. But only after Julia. Same as the Numel quest.

Yes, exactly. Plus, Grotle can easily set-up Curses vs Helioptile while healing up the Paralysis with Parlyz Heal. Then, it will be easy to sweep. Only thing to be afraid of is Sonicboom, but can get 2 Super Potions pre-Julia, so there won't be any problem. Also, Mudkip has Damp ability. Which prevents Explosions. Another nice thing to have vs Julia. So, I think that, with either Grotle/Marshtomp and Wormadam it's winnable. Hell, @Gentleman Jaggi did it with Swampert alone!

Can always heal up with a Super Potion I haven't found her to be abusing Sonic Boom that much in my last run... Don't know why. Didn't say it would be easy, but it isn't supposed to be overly easy. Having 3-4 Ground types vs Julia would've been a walk at the park.

Especially if you set up Curses with Grotle, it's gonna be super easy. Plus, Electric is weak to Ground. I don't get why people vote that it would be tough to defeat Julia with only 2 mons

I honestly expected the Moxie Mightyena Sucker Punching sweep to be honest! That's what I had done in my original run

I have to admit that I loved this fight. I bred Flame Burst on my Skuntank (in my Poison monorun) in order to beat Shelly by combusting the field, but then when I searched in Bulbapedia I found out that no Poison types learn Fake Out, apart from Croagunk, which is unavailable until we get Rock Smash, and Salandit, which is unavailable in general till E17 is released xD. So, my plan was ruined and never revealed. That's why I love seeing someone thinking EXACTLY the same thing I never managed to do! Congrats @St0mpa for the great strategy and the amusing battle! It's always great to stomp your weaknesses with a great plan like that! Thank you @St0mpa Yes, it was tilting beyond belief! I'd rather climb back to Gold from Bronze II in LoL, than do it again. I reckon that Bennett is indeed a terror for Dark types, with his Field-enhanced Signal Beams... Field-boosted Signal Beams are annoying anyways though... And Bennett is even more annoying, being as naive and easily manipulated as he is.

Indeed, I was furious at the ridiculousness of it at first. I thought "OK, there's no chance I'm defeating her". And the fact that my previous fight vs Aster and Eclipse and Aya's (not) help had already pushed me to the verge of tilt didn't make it any better. Yeah, I was way too underlevelled. This was mostly because Crobat solo-swept Samson with a tiny bit of help from Nidoqueen, so I didn't have to train up my 'mons. And I also forgot (like the airhead I am) to take advantage of the teaming up with Aya to grind up to a regular level to face Charlotte. But I think I planned the battle well after the initial destruction and my strategy worked (nearly) to perfection in the end!

Haha, well, I didn't "have to", but I did so in order to avoid all the grinding I'd have to do! Thanks! Glad you enjoyed this massacre! xD

CHAPTER 14: I hate barbeques. Hello everyone! It's about time I stop being lazy and update my run! Mostly because now I have competition in the Poison type runs which triggers my insecurity. Huh, whaaa, who said that? Voices! Ahem... Anyways, with Samson showing little to no resistance to me and Amaria showing even less resistance to Titania's lies and practising for the 10m platform diving for the next Olympics jumping from the top of Celestinine Cascade, we now had to go up to Ametrine and find TMX Waterfall to help Titania save Amaria. Oh, a voice of a rawring bitch (I won't say her name) also echoed and mumbled about something like Agate's sleep spell emitting from Ametrine. COULD THAT EVER BE A LIE? So, off we went into Ametrine Mountain, with Cain, Aya and Hardy, who were heading to Calcenon. But I end up going with them, cause PULSE Avalugg roadblock and now I need TMX Dive too. So many useless moves to teach. In the process of getting to Calcenon, we climb bridges that collide, boulders nearly hit Cain (calm down PULSE Clawitzer), and I join Aya, as we separate in two parties, which looks like great fun!!! Soon though, I realised that Aya is great fun and a very nice and kind girl to hang out with (I honestly believe that), by he battling skills would be the reason which would give me suicidal thoughts! Observe the reasons behind that! VS ASTER & ECLIPSE However, we emerge victorious, but Sirius' Chandelure also emerges and burns away Eclipse's soul. And nearly turned mine into a flambeed banana (I'm sweet as hell) as well, if it wasn't for Aya, who literally sacrificed herself to save me (proving my point about being a great person). She gets captured and taken as a hostage, which isn't taken lightly by Hardy when I get to Calcenon. We meet again with Saphira, Laura, Charlotte, Anna, Noel and Shelly, who even hugs us! Then, we learn that Laura was removed from Elite 4 position (ty El for bringing Bennett in it, making it easier for me to become a champion). Finally, after a couple of back-and-forth trashtalk and manipulation techniques by both sides (Meteors on Labradorra and us (particularly Charlotte) on Calcenon, through PULSE Mr. Mime's barrier), it is time to battle Charlotte and earn another badge! VS CHARLOTTE This is going to be EASY! What? No? WHAT DO YOU MEAN CHARLOTTE IS GONNA DO TO ME EVERYTHING THAT SIRIUS' CHANDELURE WAS SUPPOSED TO DO RAISED TO THE POWER OF 1000?!!! Kill me. Now. The struggle is real and I'm underlevelled. Clown Indraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Help!!!! WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE IS GOING TO DESTROY ME TOO?!!!! Enjoy the terror, and feel my pain... Alright, fine. I refuse to waste my youth and beauty by grinding all my mons from Lv.~59-60 to Lv.68. So, Angel, a Bug type specialist of non-binary gender (and my alternate persona in my Bug monotype) sent me like a gazillion Rare Candies, because xe has the MONEY to do so! And then, I stormed back into Charlotte's Gym again! Come here, you crazy arsonist (I know it was Sirius' Chandelure and not Charlotte's Vulpix who burnt Belrose Mansion and killed her parents in search for one of the four keys, but honestly, her pre-battling words are creepy enough to make me think that she does need a REAL psychologist/psychiatrist!) and get burnt rained to death! The (awkward) team I used to defeat Charlotte was the following! (After so much struggle with swapping around items and trying different movesets, this worked.) And, eventually, with some combined efforts and after a very close battle (in my 47th try to defeat her in total), victory was achieved! YES! Moral of the story: Poison types are PROPERLY SLOW! Only Crobat could set up Rain for 8 turns with Rain Dance and Damp Rock and she then went down to combined power of Typhlosion and Darmanitan, so I had to win a 5v6 afterwards. Even if Crobat survived, she was carrying Damp Rock to amplify the duration of Rain to 8 turns. So, Acrobatics had a pitiful 55 BP, rendering her useless for the rest of the fight. Also, combining two Surfing Pokemon at the same time vs Charlotte is an awful strategy. Double accuracy debuff per turn due to steam means that in only one turn of Surfs, your 'mons can't see A THING! It's like having practically two Stevie Wonders in battlefield simultaneously. Finally, Delphox is a demon. Psychic/Fire in this field vs Poison team? Kill.me.now! Payapa Berries for the win. Anyways! The 11th Badge (Cinder Badge) is now ours and it means we can use TMX Dive (and go to Ametrine)! Also, we get TM for Flamethrower, which my Nido-royalties appreciate A LOT! And level cap raises to Lv.75. By the way. Charlotte said "Over it. So done." when I defeated her. After 46 straight losses. Then said she is still powerless. POWERLESS. So.much.BM. How much more pain did she want to offer me to feel powerful?! A psychologist in Room 4, please, we have a severe case of a mentally unstable and highly insatiable patient! After that, we have to talk to Shelly and go save Heather up in Ametrine. We also have to stop the hypothetical and highly non-existant sleeping signal that is emitted from there and get TMX Waterfall. And we will do this in the next chapter of this poooiiisonous run!
