  1. What are the all things Shade wants again, besides not fighting Taka, punching Solaris at Pyrous Mountain and exposing Corey?
  2. Plot twist: his game is actually rigged for the AI to suck on certain fights Aya was the first time the game really had me, I had to switch two members (and both of new two had defensive setup shit) instead of just one (to be fair it's a Double Battle). Talonflame is a cool birb that can yeet through most of Kiki's team with Acrobatics, Persian helped with Shelly, and the first three Gym Leaders aren't too hard with a full team (assuming it's not some gimmick team like 6 first stage Pokemon but you get what I mean)
  3. meanwhile I am just waiting for this big brain to finish Undertale he so blind he was like "welp that's the end" when the game yeeted him out this is the first person I've seen do that
  4. Steelix can be cheesed with some luck and setup if you have appropiate team, cause it's pretty slow, but Abra is fast and strong, spamming Hyper Beam left and right (also has Dark Pulse if you thought that Ghost-types were smart idea - Normal/Dark is resisted by Tyranitar, Mawile, Lucario, Pawniard, Bisharp, Cobalion, Terrakion, Carbink, Klefki, Diance and Magearna; this early the only two options are Mawile which is a 5% encounter rate and Mystery Egg Pawniard).
  5. What does the part refer to, the Episode things that Reborn does? E17 was the only one to add two Gym Leader fights instead of just one, IIRC. Also, will the ratings ever dip into negative numbers, for certain individuals?
  6. Has anyone told him about the bike? It's pretty easy to miss.
  7. Favorite: Out of the ones that are out, probably the Factory/Short-circuit pairing, cause you can easily keep switching between it. There are also few others where I like the aesthetic, though effects not so much. Least: Every field that more or less doesn't exist outside of Gym Leader battles. I could be misremembering, but I am pretty sure three of them aren't used at all outside of these? The ones for Serra, Radomus and the circus squad, I don't remember seeing them outside of the gym fights. Some are slightly better: Fairy Tale, Wasteland and Ashen Beach are used in one place outside of Gym Leaders (the weird forest before Titania, Apophyll Beach and the damn wasteland outside of city). There are some others that are hard to find outside of Gym Battles, but you can force them yourself with certain moves, like Corrosive Mist or Glitch.
  8. Just Wonder Guard? That sounds like a job for Prankster Perish Song. Prolly going to have Soundproof with backup getting around other shit, or worse - a weird chimera/frankenstein of an Ability (think Arceus in Conquest but worse).
  9. You're talking to a guy who has reached The Gauntlet with minimal team (Greninja, Camerupt, Mightyena, Roserade, Ursaring and Meowstic ♂; might have switched a differnet Pokemon once or twice into normal team, don't remember, but I remember trying to be minimalistic). This is as painful as it sounds, even with Revive and healing items. Somehow, I managed to persist. Some gyms easier than others (Titania was hell but Amaria was a joke, Roserade killed most of her team no problem). The gauntlet though, might be too much to handle without resorting to X items. Three boss battles back to back, with second heal being only partial? No thanks. It's not the hardest thing that has been in RPGs (looking at you Demifiend) but it definitely is up there, especially considering it's mandatory. And let's not forget the few things we know about E19: Team Meteor hacking their Pokemon to have max EVs on every stat, or PULSE Mr. Mime which made one of the testers, in their own words, s u f f e r. Anyway, if Thamill somehow manages to survive long enough, PULSE Abra will be basically a "pick who lives and who dies" episode. With its stat spreads, it outspeeds 99% of the National Dex (and the few of 1% you can have will probably get outspeed anyway due to level difference; Prankster or other similar stuff might help minimalize losses), and iring a Hyper Beam (or Dark Pulse if you thought Ghost-type can get a free pass) off that monstrous attacking stat is guaranteed to OHKO probably everything bar the most dedicated tanks. Defense-wise, it's less ridiculous Shuckle.
  10. I've been in a normal playthrough and had to change a Pokemon twice so far; for Shelly and for Kiki (in that case, Talonflame sweeped 4/6 of her team with Acrobatics). Currently stuck on Aya, might need to change team again. (Just FYI, it's Venusaur, Talonflame, Swalot, Arcanine, Ampharos and Persian; yeah great variety I know)
  11. Ame: thamill the rain will stop the field from doing things field notes (which he fails to read): thamill the rain will stop burning field real life logic: thamill the rain will stop a forest's fire thamill: let me burn this field WHY IS IT NOT WORKING I swear, this guy has a galaxy brain.
  12. Shofu actually played the newer ones? I thought he stopped after like WTC.
  13. Place your bets: if Shelly doesn't get him in, who will? I remember Serra's field being a dumpster fire, but maybe they nerfed her since?
  14. I assume that means he's fighting the Police in Corey's gym, or is he getting the other version?
  15. The quiz seems to use NidoranF and NidoranM, which is technically correct, if not exactly obvious.
  16. No offense but the 151 Pokemon quiz is easy mode as it shows you the Pokemon you are trying to name. It took me less than 7 minutes to name all 151. Psypokes' version is harder as you don't have images and instead you have to rely on memory of that Pokemon existing in the first place, which is something I found challenging. (I tried their 'all Pokemon up to G6' version. 40 minutes to name all 721, I named maybe like 600-630 because. If it had images I'd probably name all of them.)
  17. For reference: Shadow Hold is a move. It's like Mean Look, but I think it hits adjacent opponents rather than just one Pokemon? Not that it matters as double battles are rare here. Either way, Shadow Pokemon always have random Ability as I am fairly sure that, except of few differences, they're generated probably like wild Pokemon (hell, in Colosseum you could end up with a Shiny Shadow Pokemon... though you would need to luck out another 1/8192 roll if you wanted it to stay Shiny, as it will roll again for your ID when you snag it. On the other hand, the opposite is also true - it might suddenly turn Shiny after you snag it). Also, I think you've overwritten some details on Marianette's Pokemon (like Sitrus Berry on Cinccino or Dry Skin on Heliolisk).
  18. So, I am finally done with it. Here's my comment on all the important battles.
