    Route 3's pretty interesting, as it's actually two maps. The green part has Butterfree, Pidgeotto, Doduo, Pansage, Pansear and Venipede in the grass. If you fish, you can get Wooper (Old Rod), Quagsire (Good Rod) or Finneon (both Rods). The golden part has Buterfree, Pidgey, Dodu, Slakoth (very rarely, though; good fucking luck getting it for Advanced Dex), Chingling, Pansear and Venipede. Corta Forest has Oddish, Weepinbell, Bibarel, Kricketot, Budew (very rarely) and Tranquil. Fishing gives you Goldeen and Finneon.

    Pokemon in Purity Forest are nothing too special. Well, maybe other than Volbeat and its Tail Glow (+3 Sp. Atk) and free Flash for the Zubat event. The mons are: Oddish, Paras, Bellsprout, Zigzagoon, Volbeat, Illumise. With the fishing rod, Goldeen. Anyway, here's Keta teams. I suggest putting a big, flashy neon sign that says "REBORN STYLE WALKTHROUGH" or something. Because Keta's difficulty changes are more noticeable than Venam's. (On Casual, Venam just dropped 2 mons and had their levels lowered; while on Intense she swapped 3 of her mons for new ones. Keta's a bit more complicated on Casual and somewhat different on Intense.)

    Ampharos gets Thunder Punch if you evolve him as early as you can. Fire Punch unfortunately is Magby line only without Heart Scales, as Hitmons line was axed in V8, and Darumaka line was not made available as far as I know.

    Fun fact: If you do help the mad scientist, he gives you a Thunder Stone. You won't be getting any more Thunder Stones for a while.

    I don't remember Seedot being a wild Pokemon... or being available at all outside of breeding. Nuzleaf isn't available until you deal with Carotos shenanigans, and Pidgey's definitely not in Sheridan Village.

    Not only is that on the Wall O' Bugs already, it is fixed in V8.1. At least, it should be?

    Nope. You can EV train pretty quickly with something in Wispy Ruins, though. They have special items you need for it (Remember those rooms in Gearen Lab that are locked? Yeah, they do something!), which you will be able to access as you progress through storyline (the last item is available only at the end of V8, not sure when the first one is as they were first introduced in V7 when I could get all available in one swoop).

    Spiritomb got moved to Darchlight Woods. I am not sure how/if you can get enough people there, though.

    Tyrogue was axed in V8 as far as I know. Pokédex shows Area Unknown.

    I think you gave Venam's Tentacool an illegal move... Venam pls turn off these AR codes. Considering it is Qwilfish replacement on Intense Mode, which can learn Fell Stinger, I think this has slipped by your attention. How about changing Fell Stinger for Infestation or other legal move can hit Psychic-types for SE? It has better Sp. Atk, anyway. don't ask how long it took me for it to use that move so i could screencap it. just don't.

    PBS files? well I had a different thing in mind. This guide is not exactly mistake-proof, as I have no idea how V8 Terajuma Shore progresses. Also, you apparently can do Valor Mountain in two different ways? Or something. It should provide some help, though? you said you are going into sidequests blindly... I can assume one thing: you do not know about the thing I am going to talk about. An important tip that will make you not slap yourself in the face. "What’s the TV Trope for something like this?" I don't know, even though that site likes to consume my precious time as a breakfast. And lunch. And dessert. And dinner. Also, Venam's team is different on Intense, as I've just recalled. Some "research" later: yes this is a big post because i have no life i feel like it.

    I managed to do that all fine on Reborn Style. Well, except Amber where I had to resort to Rain Dance abuse. Also, I was fighting Valarie pre-V7 nerf so I've hit a wall there for a while.

    There's one hidden at the end of Odd Pass. You could also possibly get another one if you do a good deed during Valor Mountain arc. The earliest you can get is Amethyst Cave, available just right before you fight Zetta (hidden in a rock).
