Looking back through everything, I saw it a bit of Reborn during the late E14 era. Still, E15 plays, E15 account, so E15 resident. Whelp, defibrillator on the Eras tread, I guess

Somewhat of a deep question. Why do you play pokemon?
Cobalt996 replied to firewidow's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
The artwork and design of the Pokemon (which I do hear bashed every new generation occasionally). I would get into the TCG if it were cheaper just from the artwork. -
If you could own one Pokemon, what would it be?
Cobalt996 replied to Another Felix's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
Whelp out of all the favourites, I choose... uh... Zorua, I guess. If legends are permitted, then no clue, as Shaymin-S vs. Zorua is a hard decision for me. This is what I had to choose from -
BAHAHAHAHA Just you wait. 21 and 25 are the worst, to the point of 25 ending my Lunatic playthrough. 19 is not AS bad as you say. I mean... Besides, you have yet to know true terror. Contained within are some pretty skills that enemies get soon. Don't look if you don't want to be spoiled!

Happy birthday, Shia! I've talked to you some on the server, and you really are a nice person, so I hope you have just as nice of a day!

If you could take 1 pokemon off of a gym leader's team...
Cobalt996 replied to doombotmecha's topic in Reborn City
Personally, I'd axe Voltorb #2 for something else electric, but still reasonable. Magnemite, Chinchou, and Denenne all come to mind as better replacements, Dedenne would be a more valid choice if it got better STAB choices for that point in the game. Of course, if Ame was cruel bland, Julia would have 5 Aftermath Voltorb with Selfdestruct/Explosion, and four revives (or somesuch) Other than that... Florinia: >Fire starter. I cannot give a good opinion on her. Corey: Crogunk is the only mon that has never taken anything of mine down. Grimer is just as bad, as it served as setup fodder. Shelly: ...I have nothing to say until the day she actually takes more than one try. Everything seems to clash, outside of Rain Dance and Swift Swim, and Yanmega being able to hold its own; as I've seen it, clashing is usually a bad thing in doubles, so... again, I cannot give ONE pokemon that should be replaced/refurbished. Shade: Rotom kills the field (is does switch it back, but...) reliably, and makes tanking much easier. It reliably uses Discharge against basically everything. I forgot he had Duoblade, too, I guess. Kiki: Worked well enough. Only problem is how it can't counter setup effectively. Shame only Poliwrath can do anything, and it costs Haze Aya: Worked well enough. AI could cause her Tentacruel to flub turn one, though. Serra: Let's start with the weakness to her own field. Noel: Whatever he led with. It never really did anything, as far as I remember. Radomus: Reuniclus + Trick Room literally never happened, even after several turns, but that's AI. Luna: No changes, outside of moving Bisharp out of lead position. It's better for cleaning than leading; maybe Tyranitar instead? Samson: Aside from the massive weakness to special attacks, he's good in my book. Charlotte: Am I the only one wondering when Flash Fire is going to be on everything that can have it (Arcanine and Typhlosion, iirc) Terra: AI likes to send out Hippowdon after Excadrill is down. Maybe switching lead role to Hippowdon could make itself look betted, because it just comes out, dies, and nothing uses sandstorm because it's gone before chompy comes out. Ciel: Aside from Talonflame AI (SD over causing OHKO) she seems pretty good. Togekiss might not be the best lead, because outside of T-Wave (which it only usually uses), it's very good setup fodder. Then again, what even is a good lead? Firebirb, in case of rocks? iirc, Charlotte leads with Blaze Typlosion and Sheer Force Darmanitan EDIT: Thanks, Chubb -

Luxray learns Electric Terrain (which overwrites the current terrain) at levels 1 (relearn) and 67, and Guts is decent, especially with Facade. If you aren't shy on spending money of potions and the like, you can do what I did and carry poison on it for a while (I think I did it from Gym 3 to 7). Just be careful if you do this, because once its health is 1 outside of battle, the poisoning will fade (and there's a small, small chance of the game crashing when it fades). Discharge is nice for factory/short circuit field, but then, most electric-types get that.- 6 replies

Pixelmon Thread 2: Electric Boogaloo
Cobalt996 replied to DJ Mewdeon ft Dan Punk's topic in Gaming General
Well, word of advice: Windows 10 miiiight break MC on some weaker computers. The launcher works, but with severe stuttering (literally 50% lag, 50% function), and using the Minecraft launcher with forge freezes upon connecting (also tried adding Optifine and increasing memory). So unless I can allocate more memory in the Pixelmon launcher (and it works), I'm going to have to upgrade back to W8 before I can do anything else on the server. Only mod I can think of that's necessary is Optifine, the client-side QC mod. And since it's client-side, and has no effect on the server functions, it can be used. ...Not that it's helping me. EDIT: Just Windows 10 setting max memory to <1GB. I say W10 since it was at 1400MB default on 8. -

Well, it's possible that adding "just one or two mods" could escalate into the (eventual) lag hell known only as 100+ mods. At least, that's my take. Better to keep it "bland" and reasonable, then to lock people out due to their system not being beefy enough. EDIT: As for nobody on... I'm on daily, except the past few days due to computer issues. EDITEDIT: Is there any possibility of a server map, similar to the vanilla one? -

Daycare Centre --> Obsidia Garden House --> Coral Ward Warehouses --> Daycare Centre --> Wander --> Daycare Man --> Beryl Ward Police Station Bring 2 unfainted pokemon for the first step, or the game will crash, Bottom of two leftmost warehouses in step 3. Just in case the Growlithe can be male (although I am 100% certain it cannot be Ame's not cruel) Ditto is in the factory you help Amaria in. Teleporting Makuhita below Ditto's cage, then examining, will make Ditto use CloseCombat on the cage and escape, joining you. Ditto goes to 7th Street if you clear the factory before grabbing it.

Team name: The People Adrienn Hired to Rennovated Reborn City (Henceforth T.Pahrrc) Trainer Classes: (T.Pahrrc) CEO, Foreman, Engineer, Trainee My rank: Foreman (Water/Fire/Flying/Steel) Goal: Revenge on Adrienn, Julia, and whoever else had them spend over 9 months rebuilding an entire city, while making sure the people in said city lived completely uninterrupted lives. Friend/Foe: Depends on whether or not you defend the unjust actions of several months of mandatory unpaid overtime. Type exclusion (each member must have at least one type from each pair): Water/Grass, Fire/Electric, Fighting/Flying, Steel/Rock They sound the most useful for mass building/demolition, if you're asking. Besides, only 16 members currently, so everyone is different.

Heyo, Zebstrika. What are the chances? 1 in 720, you dolt. Got turned into my favourite electric type, and I have no clue what I'd do as it. No hands, no speech, complete diet shift... yeah, no clue. For starters, waking up on my side when my body is more accustomed to standing, learning a quadrupedal gait, Managing stairs, etc. until outside. ...It seems the generator likes me, though, as it gave Absol and Eevee on second and third generations.
-
Electric type love, I guess. But with auto-correct, because too lag to stop it. I'll edit it correctly later Deeanne (or at least Fairy attacks) Gallivant Heliopolis Lantern Luxury Taichung (Thunder Mouse stage 3) Motor Strikebreaker (Thunder Horse)

There's a house with Pokesnax itemball in it, though as I recall, you need to fight one of three trainers to reach it. It's a little north-east (up-right) of the train station. Going up to the gym, all the way left, all the way down, and then right will cause one battle (one opposing pokemon, iirc) and put you right outside the house.

Praise The Sun... and Moon - Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon
Cobalt996 replied to Godot's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
Just going to point out that if we saw ORAS Resort area exclusively, without any indication of it being a remake of RS, there'd prolly have been speculation similar to that. One town doesn't say a whole lot, since if you only saw a city with a similar design to Snowpoint City, you could either draw the conclusion of Gen 4 remake, or a tundra-based region (or just be logical and discard both options, accepting it as a possible city in the finalized game features) -

Your hair is now that of a Reborn character. But whose?
Cobalt996 replied to Spineblade's topic in Reborn City
Not Cal, since I'd just need to dye my hair to get that. Prolly Adrienn; the style wouldn't get in the way, and the colour's nice. -

Well, it's been three years, so Flygon is probably going to happen, at the least. Even though they had intended a Flygon-M, Sugimori had a case of artisst's block, so it was (presumably) postponed. Then again, I know people who go through the longest artist's block on stuff they want to finish. Also, we have two whales and an orca (okay, three whales). When's a dolphin? -
Whelp. Easiest is going to be the easiest one that actually has a puzzle. Kanto (Y/FRLG) [No RBG] E: Koga, by far. Quiz hall host Blaine gets some mention. H: Waste basket paradise. Also, the locks reset. AGAIN. Johto (HG/SS) [No GS] [No C] ...Not that I remember any of the puzzles from there. Hoenn (RS)(ORAS) [No E] E: All of them. H: Uh... is "none" a valid answer? E: Wallace's got even easier, while Liza/Tate lost their status of having a puzzle (as well as mandatory trainers) H: Sticking with none. Sinnoh (DP)(Pt) E: Fantina's quiz hall, with all but two as runner-ups. H: I guess you can miss the switch in Wake's, and Candice if you miscount your steps. E: Well, at least Fantina's gym isn't quizzes anymore. Maylene's got a slight bit harder, but still is a runner-up. H: Don't remember. Unova (BW) [No BW2] E: All of them. H: None of them. Kalos E: All of them. H: Remembering to revisit Grant for the stone in his gym. Oh, wait, that's post-E4, as I recall.
