  1. ...I accidentally integrated my number and got two cards: 1.75 of Square Clubs, and a quarter of some other card (I don't think it even had symbols on it).
  2. In the main games (which I played extensively since Gen 3, due to not having a life at the time) I caught my first shiny in Black. It was a Pidove, which had 0IV in half of its stats. Made up for it with the only Vulpix seen in X being shiny, but... going through any game with 0IV is painful, especially once you find out. It has since been traded away. First ever was a Bagon by trade in Pearl. First actually used one was Excadrill in Black. In Reborn/Rejuv/Desolation/etc/etc/etc/etc it was, what do you know, at least 4 Woobat and 4 Noibat. Speed EV training breaktime notice, I call them. First used one was... none. I do wish that trading a shiny Stunfisk in Agate gave a shiny Vulpix, but... ;-;
  3. Sigilyph, because Unown doesn't start with an "s"
  4. Well, tested it on a private server a little more than I should have, and it seems (seems, since my output window likes not updating) that the problem stems from the trees not dropping Oak Wood (100% drop) when cut, which probably sends out an error string or twenty. Workaround is not cutting them down, instead opting to dig under them, as that produced the 100% drop 100% of the time. So... no worries on corrupting, if that's the case; just a server crash from too many (unresolved) errors. At least they go away after the crash, rather than lingering, afaik.
  5. Isolated the issue: Don't cut down apricorn trees. Miiiiight have accidentally caused that again figuring it out, though. pls no riot ;-;
  6. Welcome to Reborn! Trust... all of us here, you'll be more active than you think! I think it's been mentioned, but even if you aren't a competitive Pokemon player, check out the Reborn Showdown! server; we mostly just talk.
  7. "Found an error? Report it here!" ~Reborn Bug Reporting Forum Well, it doesn't specify a problem with Reborn the game, so... Two screen-captures; one before pressing "Load more topics," one after, and no clue why it does that.
  8. Desk? I use a loveseat and a laptop. Just be careful of the protruding nail when sitting down, and it's a nice setup.
  9. Congrats, mde! Already saw you in BR enough to wonder about this happening, and it did! Sorry, Dark, nothing other than an overly generic "congrats" for you, since I never really see you anywhere. Maybe it'll change, though. Nevertheless, you two seriously help keep the "order" in... order here, so congrats again on the promotion/position!
  10. Happy birhtday, Sparky! Definitely don't know you well, but I know you're a good man; enjoy your day!
  11. You know what we need? Mega Lando-Incarnate! In all seriousness, though, Zebstrika has good stats and a subpar movepool, but it could work decently with a Mega. To begin with, it's built for physical, with maybe 8 viable physical attacks. It can't take hits but that's normal for electric. Guaranteed ability-based immunity, though. Zebstrika Electric/----- HP- 75 Atk- 100 Def- 63 sAtk- 80 sDef- 63 Spd- 116 Total- 497 Abilities: LightningRod, Motor Drive, Sap Sipper. For a mega, first it'd need access to one move: SuckerPunch please Dark Pulse. As for why... Zebstrika-M Electric/Dark HP- 75 Atk- 100 Def- 88 (+25) sAtk- 140 (+60) sDef- 63 Spd- 131 (+15) Total- 597 Ability: Competitive (yeah couldn't think of much here) It can still use its decent 100 attack, but now its actually-powerful special moves have a chance to deal damage. With LightningRod allowing for a +1 Satk on prediction, or Competitive for +2 after mega, from intimidate or rng downs, it can actually deal threatening damage (that low coverage, though). With 100/140 offensive, it could feasibly used things like Me First for coverage, even, if you felt the harsh reality of its movepool, or just wanted to try something different. Also, it conveniently outspeeds all 130 Speed Pokes, if invested. Additionally, if it got Sucker Punch as well as Dark Pulse, it has a priority STAB off of 100 atk. At least I didn't just give it Rock Head and +85 Attack/+15Speed for Double Edge and Wild Charge, then argue for Head Smash and Flare Blitz
  12. Once you stop lurking, you can never escape... Uh, I mean, " 'Allo, welcome to Reborn, hope you enjoy your time here!" Be sure to check out the Showdown! server, even if you aren't necessarily into competitive Pokemon; we're nice... I think...
  13. Good thing I like being single. Food is the best valentine.
  14. Leafeon/Glaceon, Scoliopede, Raichu. I tend to like Pokemon far more from design than usability, tbh.
  15. 'Allo, welcome to Reborn! Hope you have a good time here, and do check out the Showdown! server, as others have said. Normal mono sounds fun, due to the variety of choices. What Pokemon do you personally like most for it, though?
  16. Since it does not have its own location, but its pre-evo does: Volcarona- Rank C+, B-, or B (no clue how badly the availability should kill it) Availability: Mystery Egg, Evolve Badges 8-13. (slightly better than Beldum, 6% of the time) Type: Fairly good coverage, but a common 4x weakness. Stats: 135/100 Satk/Spd, being a Special Salamance, but... 65 Defense. Viable Movepool: Fiery Dance, Bug Buzz, Hidden Power, Hurricane, Giga Drain Heat Wave, Struggle Bug Quiver Dance, Roost? The issues: Let's be honest. 1/18 chance of being available, and a long egg hatch is you really want to try for good IVs/ability, or even just gender. This Pokemon is the definition of the worst possible availability, rivaling only a select few E13-15 Pokemon. It suffers from a crippling 4x weakness to Rock, which it has to fight in the form of Team Meteor, during the tag-team session. It has good special coverage, but most of those moves are TM/Tutor only. Additionally, it can't help out in any of the solo 'Mon fights, due to type failing, or field effect. So why does it get a B/B- rank, when it sounds like literal garbage The benefits: Quiver Dance, on a Pokemon with already good Special Attack and Speed, which is also buffed by 1/3 of its available gyms. Heat Wave, a STAB attack that hits both opponents in the typical tag-team situations. Bug Buzz, which falls under similar circumstances as QD. Fiery Dance, an another good Fire attack that raises its already good Special Attack 50% of the time. Hidden Power, which provides the much-needed coverage most of the time (...somehow even HP Psychic was good enough). All of that is enough to completely solo... literally every available gym, and cripple most other major fights. Even Ciel, since Togekiss is a special attacker, and Talonflame AI is inconsistent at best. Conclusion: Its greatest failing is the 1/18 chance of obtaining it, followed by not being viable until your level cap hits 60, and the fact that EV training it for a Larvesta is counterproductive. Even so, it is one of the few 'Mons obtainable in E15 that can destroy the last 40% of the game with almost no help (bar Meteor Grunts, and predicted to change for Ciel with AI update in E16) Remember that you can't count on getting it, but praise your fortune if you do.
  17. Ever had snow? Ever had ice? Ever tried breaking said ice with a sledgehammer, while standing on more ice? Let's just say I'm glad my arms lock while I'm falling.
  18. Restart for me. 4mss team lessgo. Same theme and stuff. That would have been a lot easier if HP was cheap and could be changed
  19. 1. More fields than gyms. 2. Big Top Field with Samson and Ciel. It does with EQ/Bulldoze and Cave.
  20. I'm imagining xem coming back back to Peridot, looking at the end result and saying "So... why do none of the buildings have doors?"
  21. Looks like it's time to break out the itemfinder, before rebuilt Reborn covers up all the items. A nice marketplace, and good to know that Titania is now on the "maybe not" list of gym leaders for E16.
  22. I'm the Rat the who drowned the Cat, already know what it says, and it describes me perf... Wait. What is this description? That is not the one I was agreeing with. Look further, and you'll find that the Rat is associated with the element of water, while my birth date lands me as being called a "Fire Rat." The attributes associated with these two elements almost entirely describe my personality; ironic, considering the accuracy of the Rat's description. Furthermore, ironic due to type of choice in Pokemon
  23. Well... It's long, and probably doesn't make any sense, despite being simple. My favorite type of Pokemon is electric (ironic, considering I generally use fire, but whatever), and I wanted to base a username off of that. Batteries are commonly associated with electronics, but Lithium, probably the most widely-known cathode constituent for a battery just... seriously, as a username? No. LiCoO contains Cobalt, however, and that's got a decent ring to it, so I went with that... and promptly found it taken in several places. Now, adding a number to the end of your name is serious business, so I decide to avoid using generic things like birth year, I wanted to keep it to 3 characters, with no sevens so it's three syllables when said individually. Cobalt is element no. 27, whose square root is 3. Adding one to both of them makes them both divisible by four. 1000 - 4 = 996... which lined up with [1]996 anyways. Would have been 1000 - [(27 + 1) / 4 - (3 + 1)], but that contains a seven... so, Cobalt996. Ironically get called "Kobold" by a few people who probably do not know why Cobalt is called Cobalt.
