  1. Well, if you really want to make Arceus Raycraycray 9.0, but not break any rules (go off what we have, +100 ME boost, etc) HP120 AT130/140 DF140 SA150/140 SD140 SP140 With Judgement acting in as Dragon Ascent. ME ability is a bit more fun, though, since the weather trio gets revamped versions of their old abilities. Thus: Multiguard- This Pokemon takes reduced (25%/33% less) damage from all types not matching its held plate. (Plate does not change Arceus' type from Normal) This shares Multitype's Plate Knock-Off and Ability Overwrite immunities. Multiscale meets Multitype in a dually nerfed scenario that is still too strong, but also beatable. Hope you know your Arceus sprites well, because you'll only see it for a second before turning into the mega sprite, which is the same for all plates. Toxic and Magic Guard. Just use Scarfed Infiltrator Gastro Acid after Sticky Web on Arceus. Seviper OP, ban to AG.
  2. Hmm... this Ikaru... it is a fascinating specimen indeed. Especially with how it seems to be burning from the small amount of sunlight in this room. Intentional redefining aside, I know almost nothing of you, except that you exist, and are on Showdown some. Awesome guy, you're appreciated! Now go back in the cellar
  3. Ignis: This needs to be put on something that gets a bonus from it, but not too much. Something with high mixing potential (or just high A/Sa) [i-Ape, Mence, T-tar, Zoroark, etc] would be a HORRIBLE choice due the severe buff. Frame of reference: Zoroark has 115 base speed for a ~28% chance of adding half of its base 105 attack to its base 120 Satk. NOPE Similarly, it can't be put on something that is ill-portioned in the three key stats (=<100 in main attack, 50-80 in off attack, 40-80 speed, preferred) as it loses its niche if it never activates, or just doesn't do anything worthwhile. By (mostly) just base stats (and access to the usual OP stat-raisers), I can recommend: Stats, and some thematics: Final thoughts: Mightyena, Dusknoir, and Rotom seem like the best fits in my opinion. If only one is getting Ignis, Mightyena, unless it already is getting something else. Might look at the others another time.
  4. I have a feeling that the fresh new mechanic will either be a battle type (aka inverse being more accessible) or a pokemon feature (evolution, friendship, etc), seeing how the latter (gen 2, 4, 6) gains an Eevee evolution as a shiny label, while the other (gen 3, 5) becomes a new feature for competitive. Competitively, GSC split special in two and added types, RSE brought Doubles, DPPt split attacks, B/W added battle types and gave out shiny new abilities to nearly everything, and X/Y was an effective fetter for the weathermongering of B/W, while adding a new type because people got bored of the same mons over and again and two battle mechanics (Megas and inverse) But I like Doubles the most, so I liked RSE's addition the most. That being said, DPPt is definitely the most monumental change to competitive. Imagine some of the Gen 4-6 mons having type-based P/S STABs. Never played it. Never even knew difficulty was a thing there.
  5. [Counting B2/W2 Gyms separate from B/W Gyms (including overlap)] [Counting Kanto Gyms twice (bar ground) due to reappearing in GSC/HGSS] Types by previous usage (Gym/E4/Champion): 1: Fairy 3: Dark, Normal 4: Flying, Ground, Poison, Steel 5: Bug, Ghost, Grass, Rock 6: Fire, Ice 7: Electric, Fighting, Psychic 8: Dragon, Water Just my thoughts. Personally, I wouldn't mind the lower types getting a bump up on the usage list. Perhaps a gym that allows you to challenge your choice of type, similar to B/W, but not making it "whatever hits your starter the best". EDIT: (tfw 40-minute ninja) Yes. All that. Except weather is really easy to break when it's in-game AI, what with the end of the weather starters' reign of terror in Gen V. And the easy solution TPCi could use is just a difficulty option of "beginner" "experienced" or something else ambiguous and 100% TPCi
  6. 'Allo Alistar (do you mind Ali?), welcome to Reborn! If you want to see people try to talk around occasional mass punning, go to the Reborn showdown server. Also go there to talk to people and stuff; we're nice! Aventurine Forest needs to feel the effect scorched earth should have on the overworld. Badly. Literally just >^>^<>v^ ad infinitum.
  7. I tie them as needed; somehow, I can slip my feet in and out of them at will, but trying to otherwise force them off does nothing. Short laces for life. EDIT: Pretty sure someone'd get banned for 3 pages of double-posts, Flux. Might need to remove Option 5. Watch staff put it 40+ post just because
  8. I only got to do the second due to Showdown and illness respectively, but it was fun. Getting to fight Leo well before hitting B5 was nice, too, even if I got wrecked so very hard by TR doubles. Move-swap token looks very pretty right about now.
  9. Your guess is as good as mine, then; I had Conquest Lunatic 17 attempts with Keaton getting a level up on turn 2 to a variety of causes, and I've pushed him getting the level until near the end (by the boss) but still got the same growth for lv19. Sample size is likely around 30 or 40, due to forcing low% occurrence in the first few turns. Might just be a chance of getting a roll instead of fixed growths, or somesuch. Either way, it's fairly reliable, and has saved me before, which is why I noted it. (Def growth attacking an enemy who juuust 2HKOs you) Gotta use the knowledge somehow.
  10. ...I was almost expecting an ability that dealt aftermath damage after each priority attack the opponent did. Then again, no Simple/Tail Glow, so not really thinking that hard diamond storm is not a thing nope. not rock, not defense.
  11. Just going to put thoughts of Revelation Lunatic here, since that's done. Just putting it here, though. Don't look in there if you don't want spoilers. I didn't say a thing about the plot, but... the maps EDIT: Also putting in Birthrights:
  12. Edit: Since it apparently has not been said... coughfixedgrowthscough Just putting it out there for people who are entirely opposed to DLC/Wireless-aided playthroughs: Ch5's objective is defeat boss. If you've played any FE6-10 title prior to this, well... Seize is better, but stationary bosses work for Dance/Sing grinding. Wait with Avatar. Sing with Azura. End turn. Make sure auto-cursor in enabled, too. Azura can reach level 18 before she starts gaining 1 xp per dance (only falling below 10 after level 15). Fifteen is the key level, however, since that nets you Inspiring Song, which definitely helps out early on, since you can actually reliably follow-up (or avoid, tbh). Don't be afraid to reclass Azura out of Singer in favour of her flying classes (just try to minimize cost by waiting until lv21), since she has enough speed and strength to be decently threatening. Adding "Dragon" to the recommended classes for Malig Knight, which gives two skills that help out with late-game Lunatic crowd control, alongside its mixed attacking options, and Wyvern Lord's Swordbreaker/RallyDefense contribution. Shame it's weak to bows, though. Be aware of what classes you have in use, though. Pairing up correctly can make the difference between winning and losing; you might only be able to use one of the pair-up bonuses, but unless you have incredible bulk and avoid solo, you aren't taking out hoards of swarming enemies without a supporter. Especially when Lunatic AI really likes to spam dual attacks (even when they can't activate, or contribute in any way to the combat). Finally, if you decide everything in this post is useless at least take this one line. If you are on conquest-L, get Shurikenbreaker, and tentatively use Dread Fighter's Lv35 skill. Both at the very least are helpful throughout the second half of the game (which coincidentally is where everything starts mattering)
  13. If that ends up anything like Revelations-L has been compared to Conquest... well, looking forward to your analysis of Endgame pretty soon.
  14. RS because why not . Either that or DPPt. .(am I the only one who found BW painful)
  15. 'Allo Shiny, welcome to Reborn! Hope you enjoy your time here!
  16. 3 people were on at the same time today with no issues, and we've had upwards of 7 before without incident (though that was a while ago) 4GB memory total, including system-reserved memory. Yeeeeeeeah. Kinda working on it in a "hopefully" fashion. But it works, so I can't complain ...I have a lot of coloured wool / dye
  17. Is it just me, or is it reminiscent of arachnids with its two irises? That'd actually be pretty cool, though I'm guessing I'm just looking at it wrong.
  18. I'll be there for certain... whenever "there" occurs. Spring Break 2 weeks ago for college so rip understanding.
  19. Calamity Bringer and One Heart from FE7 (Blazing Sword), especially since they can be heard throughout most of the other tracks, as a form of fighting within the music itself. Additionally, Into the Shadow of Triumph. Obviously, they aren't all meant to be listened to extensively, but they are definitely my favourites from FE7. I'd mention the tracks in FE8, but it's been too long to recall them, so experiment with them
  20. Was the runt of the Prayer hosting clan in Runescape, and before then I helped with editing... well, whatever, just as long as it's words. I guess I could still do that That was two years ago, because two years ago... College began. And then I fell off the face of the internet outside of email. A year, a new global username, six more months, and bam. Here. Best thing I've gotten out of college thus far.
  21. 'Allo, welcome to Reborn, hope you enjoy your time here and PLEASE GET YOUR HANDS OUT OF THOSE FANS! ...Anyways, Reborn the game is fun if you enter it with an open mind, since (as you've probably noticed) it isn't quite a cut-and-dry Pokemon game.
  22. What if. Magearna. Is actually.
  23. 'Allo Solarus, welcome to Reborn! Not good memory? I'll trade you mine, though I'm not sure who'll get the better deal Viri already said it, but be sure to check out the Reborn Showdown! server; we don't bite, or sting. Well... I haven't been on in a while, so... I guess I can't quiiiite make promises.
  24. 'Allo speedbyte! Welcome to Reborn! Hope you enjoy your time here and find the game itself to be an adequate chall- ...Well. There's always Reborn Hardcore for that, I guess. Regardless, have a good time here, and be sure to check out the Showdown! server; we're all mostly nice there! Just saying I support those three bolded italicized underlined words.
