  1. In truth, I'd have sided with Hoshido only because my favorite characters (Seen in Prologue, since I had no exposure to the prerelease info of Fates) were on Hoshido's side. Since that was a flimsy reason at best, I sided with Nohr. I'd defend my reasoning (or even state it) but I have no wish to start any arguing war.
  2. Uhhh no. We're the ones saying Dark/Poison/Ice is at the disadvantage. Only reason there was any talk of us being "better" was due to Gengar-M (banned). Note that this is after they've already had two bans (P-don, Geomancy) And the whole "both waste slots" idea only works on a level playing field; if one side's Uber easily neutralizes the other's, in addition to other team members... well, not exactly something you can just burn slots to kill. tbh teambuilding becomes a lot more fluid when Ubers v others is not occuring. Someone just ends up with better choices, and the amount of banning it'd take to level the field would render adding Ubers a moot point.
  3. Lopunny-M. FO, Return. Dead. I'd list others, but that'd be me being a bit helpful.
  4. I'd assume the LC tiers are all in PU, unless indicated as being in another tier, as with NFE. Edit: (In reply to Nick, down below, since I'm too lazy to post again) As much as I like to make the competition tough, I cannot support P-don coming back in. Simply put, within your competition's available Pokemon, there is no viable counter to P-don aside from Toxic. Forcing (most likely) 2-3 slots of a team to counter just P-don is asking quite a lot. If you were against Flying or Dragon, I would think the ban should be lifted. Geomancy... I'm on the edge about. Smeargle having it? Sure; even if BP allowed speed/attack to pass, it takes time, and that is penalty enough. Xerneas... still has viable options (LO, Scarf, Belt). The fact it HAS viable options outside of doubling half of its stats is what's frightening. Not that I ever use Geomancy on it in Ubers. Not reliable enough. The problem with Geomancy Xerneas is the segregated typing restrictions, which effectively tell you whether or not specific counters can exist on any given team. Gengar-M being banned? If the balancing in our favour truly places your nation in such a position that it's... basically the same deal as with P-don, but reversed, then yes, it should be banned. No one Pokemon should force a team to have multiple counters specifically for it. However, if there exists a reliable way to take it out without harming the overall build of the team, it should be left in.
  5. Going through college for Computer Science major, plausibly a minor in Stats. I have ideas on what to do with it, but I cannot act on them for a semester or two yet, and I have no clue how the market will change in that time. Long future: I never think further than a year. My mind cannot create a stable future plan past that point due to the sheer enormity of variables, so all plans end up becoming this collapsed lump. Relationships: I have the peculiar condition of being completely incapable of feeling certain emotions, among them any form of love ("true" or "infatuation"). Because of this, I pay no mind to how I could be perceived as showing either (see: me around my brother), which can lead to... awkward situations (see: lmao parents wtf). Needless to say, long/life-term, close relationships do not mix well with me. Edit: You are the paragon of what every child should aspire to be, Caz.
  6. Happy birthday to one of the best members of the ~ club; may your days give you a modicum of freedom.
  7. When do the post-May-15 people find out their nations?
  8. Fire Emblem: Troubadour solo commence. Yes, that means something that only gets staves is soloing maps

FE4/5 Troubadours got swords, so it is possible. Just not likely and probably not possible outside of those games.

Mine glitch and variants (torch/trap tile) allow the acquisition of monster weapons in The Sacred Stones. Evil Eye just so happens to be - Rank Dark, and can be universally equipped. --/-- uses is a bonus.

  9. (since the thread said 2 weeks, and 8 + 14 = 22, with today being 18...) Forum Name: Cobalt996 Why is this a question, again? It's literally right above the post. 10. Okay, so another thing I can strap to my klefkichain. An eight-legged spider is a nice change from the canon. So Quiksilk removed Wormadam-Sand from time. Interesting. It forgot Grass cloak though.
  11. Thomas, it's too contagious... you know what you must do. Give in and spread it further Channel thine powers, and focus your will to regain momentary lucidity and lock the thread, lest this take over Reborn. ...Or just don't care and give in. That works, too, I guess. Ps. @every image. I don't get it.
  12. tfw you sign up for Calculus II, but the registration site shows you in Calculus III; drop out, re-enroll in Calc II, and it does it again because the button is completely borked. Meanwhile, the class site says you're registered in Calc II. Edit: tfw I thought Calc II ran until August, but it ends before July
  13. 'Allo Lacey. If AR has told you anything about Reborn, it's that it is at least 50000x worse than he is, and should be avoided at all costs, right? ...Well, you're here regardless, so... have a good time, I suppose.
  14. 'Allo Zero. Haven't seen you at all due to life, but I'll be sure to stop by sometime. Maybe you can give advice on Nuzlocking? Generic "Don't forget to check out Reborn's Showdown" that is quite irrelevant.
  15. Mega's working on my end, so, assuming you still have issues, it's region-specific. Otherwise, they've fixed whatever issues were going on when you tried.
  16. Type: Dark. Puzzle: Obviously, the room is Dark. Brawly had a dark room with a maze. Now let's make it a tad harder, with mandatory fights, instead of optional. And a fun little mechanic for those who just save riiiiiiiiiiight in the face of the gym leader. You know, the kind that makes them load outside the gym and resets the puzzle. Badge: Dazzle Badge (pretty sure you're going to be blind when I turn the lights on) TM: "Take Dark Pulse, too! I really like it, personally." "You received TM60!" "Not to your liking? Take this, as well, then." "You received TM63!" Team: (Levels are based off highest-leveled pokemon you have) Absol (Mega, Lead) Mightyena Skuntank Zoroark (Ace) Drapion Tyranitar (Locked last)
  17. Kana will be Kana, and a good piece, too! Looks like Scarlet by the hair.
  18. I like good graphics if the rest of the game is still remembered. A game can be beautiful, but if the maker disregards the other key components (plot, mechanics, etc), the graphics don't just make the game "good," leading to greater initial sales, but a small long-term value. On the contrary, a game with good mechanics and plot won't advertise or initially sell as well, but once word gets out that it's just ugly, the sales rise. Obviously, this pertains to games that actually have a need for plot or mechanics (eg, most fighting games do not have a detailed plot, but has a larger need for smooth mechanics). Better to make it pretty if you think it'll bomb; if you plan for it to have time put into it, hash out everything else before the graphics—most people don't like the feeling that they are playing a broken or incomplete game. Yes, I blatantly ignored the context of this being a "Reborn fan mod for graphics." Sue me for being more practical. Actually please don't. Another thing to keep in mind is how various components stress the system they run on. Essentials itself slows down RGSS Player a bit just from its size; adding further mechanics (field effects, excessive eventing, w/e else) or enhancing the graphics (say Gen3 to Gen5) makes it run slower on computers that aren't really dedicated to making things like that run. And, of course, too much just makes RGSS player run slower, without much possible fixing clientside. Just keep in mind the "average" system specs before bloating the game too much (maybe even test it on weaker computers to be certain).
  19. Can confirm, Roobber and Lifoam are not meant to solo Mary. (especially since perfectly obedient lv19 high-IV Rooder got stomped almost immediately). Dark doesn't need luck on Mary, though, since Sinisect kinda beats her without issues, especially if you manage to get a Fell Stinger boost. Except HP Fire Haunteon. That can just... go. Makes me sad that Fire's going to be a beast to mono EDIT: Typo, or confirmed Steam Eruption tutor for Mouroot. I advocate for the latter.
  20. No. Better never than late, so we never realize that you are late. What. I mean... uh... 'Allo! Posthumous welcome from someone who's been here less? Something like that? Nothing about lateness, for sure. Oh, yeah. Showdown, too, I guess. That.
  21. 'Allo, welcome to Reborn. Looking forward to seeing you in Showdown
  22. I forwent the usage of it. I generally use pokemon I like the design of exclusively, and those... no. BW was actually difficult with my final team from that. Still swept the first gym with ease, because the monkeys are still weak opponents.
  23. 75 = 35 Just put an asterisk in between them.
  24. Bibs' current avatar. Do it. Make it a Pokemon. Cetaceans (other than Kyogre and Wailord), more cute bugs (Scolipede cute, not butterfly cute), an actual wolf (Zoroark is a lycanthrope/kitsune, Mightyena more of a hyena, although Zygarde is based off Fenrir), a pegasus, maybe a new spin on a jackal, and something, ANYTHING, so we can say Luvdisc and Unown are not the worst final-form pokemon. Something that is so bad, there are legends about it. Yes, I actually want a legendary pokemon that is only legendary for being that bad (Unown sadly does not count here). No design, but the contrary concept is a nice counterbalance to the emphasis of "legend strong" EDIT: Arguably, Absol is based off a cougar. It just has added bits, rather than simply being a cougar.
