  1. The number of times varies. For me it was 5 or 6 oasis before the tower appeared. Just keep looking
  2. Go to the grand hall where the trainers always have the same pokemons, take a team that can destroy them easily (like a powerful electric type against the one with the Blastoise), and use common candies to decrease your level. It's not as fast as selling nuggets sure, but it's infinite. It can also be a good opportunity to train some new pokemons with the xp share, especially if you're struggling against Amaria
  3. Save before the fight then reload your save when you lose maybe ? Else, you can fight the trainers of the grand hall or the clown at agate circus indefinitely and unless this was changed they give money every time. I assume you can also find and sell the various relics lying at the bottom of azurine lake, but this is a one time method so in your case I'd rather go for fighting trainers.
  4. Lilligant with Own Tempo, Sleep Powder, Quiver Dance, Giga Drain and Petal Dance is a real powerhouse. Once set up, not even a Charizard can resist. The counterpart is that if you can't set up then it's very limited. While Roserade is far more versatile. Grassy Terrain is a great way to remove fields you don't want and can be turned into other fields (burning, corrosive) depending on your needs. It also has access to Nature Power to further play with the field effects. You can also use Toxic/Toxic Spikes. Plus good STAB moves. Overall it's more support oriented. The choice depend on your team, for instance if you intend to put Misty Terrain on your Ralts then Grassy Terrain or Toxic Roserade may not be a good option. If instead you'll make it a calm minder, then Lilligant becomes redundant.
  5. If you use your A-Ninetales with Snow Warning, take blizzard, it has perfect accuracy in hail, plus effects on many fields. And Hypnosis is too unreliable with 60% of accuracy (I tried it on my regular Ninetales) while with Aurora Veil up to protect you you can afford a turn to use Nasty plot.
  6. It all depends on how you present it. All these events happen in a way that won't shock. For the volcano for instance team magma speak of extending land on the sea, but you never see a mention of all the people that would die in the eruption. It makes me think of my girlfriend loving Divinity Original Sin 2 and fearing Dragon Age may be too dark for her. Divinity is actually far more dark than Dragon Age, but the gameplay and the bright colors hide it for a part, while in Dragon Age your character is covered in blood after a battle
  7. Cubone's pokedex entry : " Wears the skull of its deceased mother. Its cries echo inside the skull and come out as a sad melody " Banette's : " A doll that became a Pokémon over its grudge from being junked. It seeks the child that disowned it " Many more others are like that. A kids' game indead... Main games are said to be for children yet are full of little things that are not for them. The first generation surely being the worst for that. Plus you have pokemon colosseum, full of misery, thieves, terrorists turning innocent pokemons into killing machines. At least Pokemon Reborn (even though it's a pokemon game) doesn't pretend to be for children. Actually, the immoral ones would rather be the official games with all those dark things they put in games they say for children... RBY versions : murder of Cubone's mother, attack with hostages on SILPH. CO, ruling a casino with cheating machines GSC : cutting Slowpokes' tails to sell them, turning all the pokemons of a lake crazy, attack with hostages on the radio tower RSE : Trying to cause a volcano to explode (same as Pyrous montain in reborn, though for different motives), causing the weather to go mad DPP : Trying to destroy the universe to create a new one (here again similar to Reborn) SM : Vandalism for team Skull mainly, torture on pokemons for Aether (just think on how we get Type: Null in Reborn, well Aether are the original creators) I don't know XY and don't remember BW well enough, but for all you can add stealing pokemons
  8. Are you sure the door is locked ? Maybe you should check again
  9. Aloraichum-Z is near Audinite now
  10. I don't know if the guide will be updated before the end of the spoiler lock but just in case I'll say the TM I've found in E17 since they are useful
  11. It depends what you're looking for. You want pleasure ? Go for fire. Fighting Charlotte with Typhlosion and Darmanitan against her own Typhlosion and Darmanitan and burning her to a crisp was probably my favourite battle in the game. And burning most of the field effects is great. You want challenge ? Go for dragon. Try the hardcore mod with just a Deino as a starter. If you finish this run, you'll be very proud of yourself. Or you'll smash your computer out of frustration against a gym leader. And if you want variety, poison is probably the best. Though looking for variety in a monotype run seems a bit of a contradiction to me.
  12. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7randombattle-491237152 Deoxys deserves its place in ubers http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7randombattle-491789824 Xerneas even more
  13. Walking in the new Reborn city feels really good. Not only because we all waited this for a long time now, but also because it's good to see the city most of us spend a lot of time in to be that beautiful now. And it seems I was right about the heart of Reborn. Sadly.
  14. Cosmic Power + Stored Power Clefable. Once you started to set up it's invincible and can take out an entire team alone. Even poison or steel can't get it
  15. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7ou-482064982 A new one with Clefable as the stall god. PP stall is so long, but can be really fun
  16. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7ou-482043982 Some people should really work their type table...
  17. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7ou-481955442 Clefable is so strong, it can solo an entire team. The funniest is, it's only damaging move was Stored Power yet it got rid of an Incineroar. Maybe my best battle ever http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7ou-481991354 Clefable ended the game, but my little Shiinotic proved it deserves a place in my team
  18. This battle should keep the cristal cavern field, it also boosts Judgment. No, I fear this field means team Meteor may at least partially succeed in creating a new world. Or maybe the locked doors lead to an existing "new world" if it's the field for legendaries post game ?
  19. Nope, Skyrim. You could see a forsworn so there's no doubt. This new console seems good. We still have a lot to see about it, but I feel it has potential for a huge success
  20. This thread appears just when I start a new game. It will be my 6th playthrough of Origins I think x) Dragon Age 2 wasn't that bad. Clearly not as good as Origins, but judged independently it's a rather good game. The main problem is that maps are cloned, the only difference between many places are just that one door is opened and another closed. The evolution between Origins and 2 then between 2 and Inquisition reminds me the evolution of the Mass Effect saga (my favorite games, even better than Dragon Age). The first Mass Effect is kind of a introduction, centered on learning to know the galaxy, the different species, exploring. Learning to know the enemy too. Big scale, saving the galaxy, but still just a beginning. As for the crew, they are nobody, still unexperienced. Then Mass Effect 2, much more centered on the crew. Most of the missions are recruiting or helping your crew, and the main plot is of lower scale. Not fighting the Reapers but their minions, not to save the galaxy but a few human colonies, not with the support of the government of half the galaxy but with a secret organisation. Then Mass Effect 3. The war, versus incredibly powerful enemies. No more exploring, no more chatting with your friends. Just saving the galaxy. As the the crew, they are now the elite of their species. The young archeologist is now the shadow broker, the young quarian in pilgrimage is now admiral, etc. It's the same for Dragon Age. In Origins your explore the universe and your party is still unexperienced (the young bard on the run, the witch that never left her swamps, the novice gray warden). Big scale too, but nothing compared to what happens in Inquisition. Then Dragon Age 2, more centered around a family and their friends, with a much lower scale (but still with big consequences in the end), and learning to know the future enemy (Corypheus). Then Inquisition, with the first darkspawn (not sure about the english name) even stronger than the archdemon, trying not just to destroy a country but to become a god. Now your party from Origins grew up. Leliana now acepts she's a bard and leads an army of spies, Morrigan is the counselor of a queen and possibly a loving mother (quite funny that one), Alistair may be king. Pretty similar to the evolution of Mass Effect, and many say Mass Effect 2 was the best. Well, Dragon Age 2 is clearly not the best, but it's still a good game. And with what we see in the DLC trespasser,
  21. This quote is a teaser for the future of the story. A quote from a flashback wouldn't fit this role. But I never doubted it was Lin too. The kind of sadism of the quote seems to fit her well and we know she gonna be involved now. As for the heart, it could be the Grand Hall, the place behind the locked door where we first met Solaris (I doubt it since behind is the power they want, not something they want to fall), or some important character for Reborn, Ame or Adrienn, (but I don't think Lin would have so much pleasure to a simple murder, plus killing them wouldn't change the fact they restored the city). Or they could destroy the entire city, as the heart of the region of Reborn, or because the heart of the city would fall with it. So I expect either an attack on the Grand Hall or a pulse attack on the entire city (new earthquake ?). Since we already know there's a pulse in E16, I would rather say the latter
  22. Maybe it would feel better IG in the place it's supposed to be heard, but I don't like this version much. I feel like other instruments should be used. This electronic sound is good for low-pitched sounds as in black Obsidia and for suits the dark and broken Reborn, but it feels less suited to the reborn Reborn, and the sharper sound is less pleasant. But I know nothing on music so it's just my opinion
  23. Let's have a look at Team Meteors' actions -Caused the earthquake and power shutdown a decade ago, destroying the city and killing A LOT of people -Burned down Fiore Mansion, killing the Belrose parents -Bombed Peridot train station, killing several people -Poisonned Azurine Lake, killing all the non-poison pokemons inside and ruining the health of many people, so probably causing several deaths too -Destroyed Jasper and Beryl wards, killing almost every body there -Tried to destroy Apophyll with an eruption, what would have killed dozen people (NPC, but if you imagine Apophyll was a real big place it would have been hundreds) -Killed Kiki -Put an entire city into sleep, which would normally cause them to die of thirst and starvation -Put an entire city to starvation -Took an entire city as hostages -Bombed a city (no one died only thanks to Sapphira) This was the known and intentional stuff, but you could probably add: -Probably killed the Azurine island scientific team to make their base there -Probably killed the people in charge of the WTC -Accidentally created the mess in Chrysolia and Spinel town, causing at least two deaths (train driver and the man teleported in the sky that crashed before us), and probably more -The trash invasion in Byxbysion may have caused several deaths too -Surely killed several people that accidentally discovered their existence/bases/identities to keep the secret And I surely forgot some. So yes the grunts didn't try to kill Titania herself (though they still tried to let her starve to death at the bottom of the waterfall), yes some are cool guys that just made bad choices sometimes for good reasons, yes maybe despite all the crimes of Team Meteor they don't deserve to die (this alone could start a new debate though), but they HAVE TO die. Each Meteor, admin or simple grunt you leave alive is the death of another bunch of people and a step closer to the destruction of the universe (their ultimate goal). It's hard to notice unless you've done several playthrough, but you always meet the same grunts, several of the admins you face at the top of Ametrine were already trying to stop you in the factory at the very beginning. Meaning had you started to kill them from the start, Team Meteor would not have enough grunts left for their attacks. That means less grunts in Pyrous mountain to slow you down so you could have discovered Cal had sabotaged the pulse before Kiki joined the battle and got killed. That means not enough grunts to take Labradorra as an hostage and bomb Calcenon. That means less grunts to slow you down atop of Ametrine and let Blake escape. That means much less innocent people killed overall. Killing grunts in the WTC wasn't about justice or morals, it was about necessity and survival. Better be a living asshole than a dead idiot And Titania has cold as people think. She lies to Amaria about her feelings not because she's heartless and manipulative as said in the OP, but because she loves Amaria so much she's ready to sacrifice herself to protect her. She slaughtered the grunts not because she's a soulless killer but because she knows how dangerous they are and that they would kill if left alive. Despite that she still took the risk of letting some alive when she learned they took care of Amaria. A real sociopath wouldn't do that I don't like how she treats most people, she's surely not someone warm and friendly. But this is just a protection. As Florinia chose to become the Flobot to protect herself, Titania chose to become an apparently heartless bitch. Because if you can see behind the bloodstained armor, if you look through the cracks that appeared in E15, I'm sure you'll see she's all but heartless Before I really didn't likes her, her way to treat everybody. But looking at how everybody bashed her without understanding her and trying to understand myself, I like her much more now
