  1. Haunting some poor soul somewhere. Maybe I can summon the spirit now?
  2. Iron Beak: Item exclusively for Empoleon. It boosts the attack stat by 50%. BURD OF HONOUR Besides, it can finally use an SD set to good effect.
  3. Hey at least it isn't Fire fighting and Water ground. We haven't had enough of those yet, amirite? EDIT: Daze ninjask'd me.
  4. They're meant to look creepy, unnerving and obscenely fat. The latter of which they certainly are, regardless one's opinion of their appearances. And yeah, I found Amoonguss's pattern ridiculously stupid in the games, having never liked the 'Mon disgued as item bait' trope with Electrode and lately Amoonguss, so I changed it to look more natural, especially to resemble the colour scheme (rwd with white blotches) of the spotted toadstool, a deadly mushroom.
  5. What better way to start than by analyzing Vivekananda? "Life is the struggle of a being to grow and develop mentally, physically and spiritually, under circumstances that often ordain to prevent it from doing so." The most universally accepted definition of life, for those who know it. I have yet to find a more sound and simple meaning to the oft-echoed 'what is life' trope. An encouragement to all to peruse the works of Vivekananda.
  6. Told you Popplio would be an awesome one. Water Fighting lesgo. Eat your heart out, Samurott. BWARK IS BEST Also Litten has an ass defensive typing, but an excellent offensive one. Blitz and Quake, all day long.
  7. Thanks, Frappy! To be honest, I don't really dislike any of these mons that much individually, and the Magnet Lord knows I use Clef frequently enough, but put together in the form of a full stall team, it's revolting to me to see these mons.
  8. IMO run the second beldum, and drop either of Bullet Punch or Agility for Hammer Arm. The coverage is great and you need only one way to circumvent the speed issue; either go for Agility or priority, having both is redundant. You can also try Grass Knot with a naive or naughty nature, but it's rather suboptimal when you can just pair Metagross with a Grass type like Roserade and be done with it. I also approve 100% of your decision to breed for Magnezone. Genderless HP Fire breeding is a nightmare and I warn you about that project, having some, -considerable- experience in that regard.
  9. In the words if someone at the circus, Terra's mere presence is a detriment to sleep. I have two theories: if she is responsible for the PULSE Hypno or whatever that is causing the agate sleep spell (she being a Meteor after all), she could have a device to shield herself from the effects. OR, she's just so batshit Hyper that hypnosis/sleep doesn't affect her.
  10. Imagine if a bunch of Quagsires show up in a swamp background and idly watch a battle of uber legendaries, all the while maintaining their derpy, don't-give-a-damn faces.
  11. 'Tis I. Where is weenie when you need an opinion...
  12. Here's a coloured pencil sketch cartoon I did today. It reflects my opinion on today's competitive battling scene and the recent tier shifts.
  13. Still hoping,eh? Weenie. Don't keep me waiting.
  14. Congratulations, Trevore. Wishing you many more years to enjoy.
  15. I agree with Nick to an extent; this episode was a little low in the sarcasm-for-value meter, and didn't feature anything particularly gruesome or even eventful. I hope you at least take good care of your Rhyperior, and use an ability capsule if you have one to switch its thingymajig to Solid Rock; that way, even if you are foolish enough to send out a Mon with base 55 Spdef versus a 'weak' Bubblebeam or Mega Drain, it has a slim chance to not keel over with a scream. You need a strong Ground type after the Golurk died, anyways.
  16. On an unrelated tangent, I find it slightly amusing when you say there is a greater variety in Ubers. Theoretically, you may be right in that anything at all (save Shenron) can be used there, but practically we all know there's just a handful of viable playstyle, most involving at least one of lava lizard, christmas deer or croissant dragon. I'm with AR here; not touched UU since DPPt, but I'm going to seek a place there until the higher tiers become a little more...fun.
  17. That's fair, to be frank I think we should be focusing on -not- messing up our own home instead of seeking for new places to colonize. Until the fundamental nature of human beings changes, and until we stop exploiting the earth and start behaving responsibly, we are only going to invade and pollute any place we seek out. Stepping back from the theoretical and moral angle, we must all be aware of the project initiated to take volunteers on a one-way trip to Mars, in a bid to start a colony there. I think this will come to pass soon, maybe within our lifetimes, and perhaps even sooner. The theory, of course, is to create biomes there, like giant fishbowls that sustain a controlled atmosphere and plant life for humans to depends on. The idea of dropping nukes on the poles is supposedly to create a 'mini sun' over each pole's atmosphere (since the Sun, as Musk points out, is just one big nuke) which can melt any frozen CO² and create an atmosphere of the greenhouse gas, which can trap heat and induce water vapour from the ice caps on the poles, thereby causing a stable climate change that can potentially result in liquid surface water. As eccentric as that idea may be, I cannot blame people for wanting to go to Mars. Some may do it out of a quest for adventure, some out of scientific curiosity, and some simply because they are fed up of how humanity has botched up earth.
  18. Happy birthday, Mik! Wishing you a great year ahead.
  19. It's ME, VIRI! Ahem, weenie? I'm waiting for you to bash my fragile ego and feed the remnants to the crows, back in the art thread.
  20. Thanks, Spine! And yes, it's quite big. It took me about two hours in all to finish it. Fortunately I had some time to myself today.
  21. Some non-Pokemon stuff for once. A pen sketch, which conveys 'Age' to my mind. Mind you, it's gigantic.
  22. "All good things to those who wait..." Presumably, that's Lin's philosophy as well. *shivers*
  23. You know, there can never be a thing as too much Steel. Bullet Storm Type: Steel Category: Physical Power: 100 PP: 10 (max 16) Accuracy: 90% The user unleashes a hail of sharp metallic fragments that has a 10% chance to make the target Flinch. The move targets all adjacent foes and allies. Does not make contact. Basically a Steel type spread move akin to Earthquake or Sludge Wave with an added affect.
