Heracross is available in the South Aventurine Woods, the place with all the spider webs and logs South of Route 1. You have to use Honey on the trees to get Heracross and Pinsir to clear all the logs for you (some have to be cleared by Bouffalant as well, and in places you need to ride Tautos down into the woods) and then when you go all the way to the back, you will see the last pair of Heracross and Pinsir fighting. Kill Pinsir to get Heracross. A video of it is available in the Pokémon location guide, I am sure, or on Google if you sear h for it. If I remember aright, Heracross is at the high level 40s or maybe higher.

It's fine it's good to be numb sometimes. I honestly don't expect anything from Zygarde in the games now. Maybe there'll be some sneaking of it if XY sequels or post-game on some gen 7 plot do show up, but I doubt it.

Confirming that Heracross can be obtained before Radomus. Leavanny as well, but you have to catch a sewaddle in Beryl and nearby forests and evolve it, and even then leavannybas is a bad Mon that late into the game. Unlike Heracross, it will also be susceptible to Rock attacks.

This does merit its own thread. See you tomorrow in the Philosophy Club in the Trainer's Journal! And for now, goodnight. I defer answering your question for the present, and instead ask you this: how are you today?

By being here more and getting her off my back. Like now. This is a good time to appear, Dhan.

You didn't seriously expect me to know what these things mean, do you XD? And you must also not have expected me to click that video and watch it. Because I didn't! Hahahahahahaha! Still i'd say 6/10 and be honest.

Heracross, despite the Fighting type, helps a lot, because it is faster than his TR team (without TR, of course, kill the setters first) and can spam Megahorn easily. A dark type which is fast also helps; try Sharpedo, Krookodile, Honchkrow or Houndoom?

How about Zygarde appears as the ancient post-game vacationeer to Alola, and makes the volcano erupt when he doesn't get a complimentary straw umbrella with his fruit punch? We have to use moon bat/Mega Pyroar to plug the volcano's crater with a torrent of Lunatones in Moon and Solrocks in Sun, and we save the day by giving perfect CEL Zygarde a big watermelon, which pacifies him and let's us catch him and name him Winkles. I seem to be inebriated today, despite by avoidance of alcohol. It might be on account of too much ice cream numbing my brain.

Shonen/10. That's the best retort I have.

Praise The Sun... and Moon - Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon
Ironbound replied to Godot's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
It's the snazziest bird since Piplup. Watch it end up wearing a lady tuxedo. Also I am just waiting for what this gen's electric rodent will be. As in, I am totally NOT interested. -
How bout you threaten Dialga? Only time will tell, so we gotta make it talk. Also, I am looking forward to the clean waters (and Starmie) and how the new spruced-up city and other regions look. I doubt the 'natural' places, and the otherwise clean locations outside of Reborn, like Apophyll and Ametrine and so on, will change much though? I still must ask about the Wasteland. Also, I wonder if the Subrailnet and 7th Street change to look cleaner? And what of Yureyu HQ? I shudder with anticipation like a Hidden Ability Ferrothorn. (Speaking of Ferrothorn...)

It's simple. Everyone loves the bowtie. Can't go wrong with bowties. I bet if garbodor or klefki wore a bowtie, they'd be hailed as great designs too. Therefore the final form of Rowlet will wear a tuxedo. And it will be the snazziest bird since Empoleon.

7/10 nice. Bleach is one of the few things in the world of anime that I recognise. ALSO IT IS A REINDEER NOT AN ELK YOU HEATHEN.

If you could make your own mega evolution...
Ironbound replied to Lord Chespin's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
Dabgnabbit I was saving Mega Skarm. You turned it into a literal Stymphalean Bird. I wanted one like this: MEGA SKARMORY Type: Steel/Flying Ability: Filter (BALK) HP: 65 Atk: 120 (+40) Def: 180 (+40) SpAtk: 40 Spdef: 100 (+30) Speed: 60 (-10) Why not just make it the fattest thing alive. Because it would do well in OU by current indications then, giving Quag and Alo and Chansey and Cress some company as they mindlessly blob around everywhere (disgusting stall I hate it so much...) Anyways, this thing is a nightmare to take down, because Roost and Filter and bulk that is insanely high. Loses a bit of speed, but gains a respectable 120 attack stat so it might even pull off an unassailable SD set with Iron Head, Brave Bird and Roost. As a hazard setter or defogger, this thing will be even more ungodly than its base form too. -
Mmh. IC how it is. Viri amusing. I guess the ship sails SW?

Well, surprise. I'm here two hours ahead. I'm glad about the greater scientific orientation of thought, but I rather regret the loss of spirituality across the world, even here. Mind you, there is a wide difference between what the world loosely calls religion (and which is more properly referred to as dogma) and what is spirituality; the same confusion which people associate with the distinction between mythology and philosophy. To believe in a greater force is logical and beneficial, if only to tone down our egos and deflate our opinions of ourselves as sentient masters of the world who can do as they please with no consequence, but to believe that one must do -this- or kill -them- in order to pay obeisance to such entity is barbaric and backward in today's world. It is important to know that while the world today is geared towards the pursuit of knowledge, it is not geared towards the quest of enlightenment. That is to be lamented, in my view. To answer your question: Trump is alive, and no one is doing a thing about it. That's enough positive thought, and as for the normative, well, rhetorical, isn't it? Opinions are just that: opinions. We are bound to disagree, but as long as one is civil, as I believe, any debate can remain so as well. Perhaps this merits a thread of its own...I do like this kind of discussion. I don't want to sound like I'm 85, so here is a simpler question: why did we let this thread which talked about food and anime turn into weighty world deliberations? Or rather, why did you let ME do it, since I am responsible for this turn in the talk, at least in part.

Can't for the life of me tell what that is/10 Seriously, what is it? A deformed hairless dog-foetus that was [REDACTED] before it could fully develop? And I have no clue what that shiny metal thing near its...appendage(?) is. A key? A Captain Hook-hook? The only recognizable thing is the word 'stats' written across the top left, which appeals to the economist in me.

I'm not giving you 15 minutes. Time is invaluable. Just kidding! But, in response to your response to my response to your first response to my initial statement, relax. I'm not offended, and you need not treat me like fine china. I'm merely clarifying a point, since it seemingly seemed as if I seemed to have unseemly sentiments, or lack thereof. That, and I'm blatantly trolling now. In all seriousness, you're probably familiar with the part if me that likes to make puns and taunt people, and the part of me that is detached from emotional considerations when expressing dispassionate views or making pragmatic decisions. Let's label them, because we all love labeling things, in Pokemon terms as Prankster Viri and Analytic Viri, eh? I've not had occasion to publicly display emotions much in life, being rather a cut-and-dry sort of fellow, but that does not imply a lack of sentimentality, and especially not a lack of morals, but rather the reverse. In fact I'm very rigid with those; not mere ethical conduct, mind you, but morality: principles of right and wrong and everything in between. That's what my Steel-type preference should have conveyed: rigidity of moral fibre, not coldness or apathy. I may joke or talk about breeding and Mewtwo scientists and stuff, but that's in a completely different context. To answer your fresh question, democracy is the only concept for any form of leadership to run on, if it hopes to function long-term. It sucks in some places because of the screwed up ways in which it is conducted and corrupted, but there's no way in which a nation can be run by one all-powerful entity, at least not anymore in today's world. I won't express a stronger view. My question: What is your view on cloning? EDIT: I won't check this again for at least four hours. Expect no response until then.

Yes. Also now coffee break, but soon enough back to work anyhow. I don't see him, but Dhan should be around somewhere.

It's me. I'm waiting for you to answer a few questions, weenie. Weenie?

The Pokémon Version you are meant to play
Ironbound replied to Narckarth's topic in Pokémon Fan Club
I don't think one is 'meant' to play any specific one of the paired games. That's the point. You simply pick whichever one appeals more to you, whatever your motivations (competitive availability of exclusive Pokemon, the coolness of the boxart legends, or merely a random whim) and enjoy that parralel version of it. The combined game usually has a comprehensive story that includes both pairs, excepting BW2 which empgasized the split of opinion between Reshiram and Zekrom all the more, breaking the mould. I respect this as your opinion, though I cannot bring myself to agree with it in any objective respect. For instance, Dialga makes as much sense as Palkia, because Cyrus in Diamond has a slightly different idea of controlling the universe than Cyrus in Pearl or in Platinum. I could also make a case of N fighting for truth as much as for ideals, since truth is most often a prevarication that is subjective to the believer. N being a child who was raised by Ghetsis only to believe that people are evil to Pokemon, is true in his belief, even though his knowledge is blinkered. It is the power of innocence that makes his ideals his truth, and his truth his ideals, so to speak. The two are not opposites. He is made aware of a greater truth and is shown a stronger ideal, in both games and not in any one. So once again, the question is not "which version is meant to be played?" but rather, "which version are YOU meant to play?"- 9 replies

TIL about how a 22 year old girl cleared my country's Civil Services exam and interview with the highest percentage of marks in recent history. She'll go on to have a long career, and with her obvious skills has a good chance of ending up as Cabinet Secretary by the time she retires. May she and her disciplined perseverance be a motivation to us all, regardless of where we are and what our goals may be.

I enjoy eight hours of peaceful sleep since I asked my last question about children, went to a good day's study, had a nice lunch, check Reborn and see this -pardon the unusually strong expression- cluster**** of chatter. What on ea-- never mind. *deep sigh* I suppose it is better then that those who do not like or are hesitant to be parents, remain that way; it is cruel to imagine bringing up a soul when one is not devoted to another person more than oneself, for such is the nature of a true parent. Also *squints at weenie* what does this mean? Are you implying that I would mercilessly reject kids, or endorse the customization of their genetics as if they were Barbie dolls, because they didn't have the correct IVs or nature, until I get the 'perfect' one? That's all very well with Magnemites and other pixelated bits of statistical data, not in real life. There is a line between eugenical research and modding kids for our pleasure which we as a responsible generation should not cross. I cannot overstate the enormity of bringing a soul into this world. As for your question about IQ, which I also like enough to answer, we are quite arrogant as well as naive, I think, to believe that one can quantify intelligence in such a simple manner. IQ tests only record a particular kind of aptitude, and while it is an indicator of specific proficiency, it does not give a simple answer of who is smarter or dumber; that stems from man's abominable desire to pride himself over what his neighbour lacks. I can make a case about Octopus intelligence as an analogy to different kinds of aptitude in different spheres of life, that do not conform to our paltry quantifications. It is not often to hear an accountant rail against quantifying things, but brain is one topic where everyone has equal potential, just wired differently and capable of achieving different wpitomes with differing ease or difficulty. And as for you "type" of character, I want a more specific question. My, I'm quite riled up today. I need a bar of chocolate. While I fwtch one and finish my day at work, I'll ask the next person what they think about the state of humanity as of today, with reference to our generation and the one of the people who currently run things. *stalks off in a fine temper*

I will go for whatever is most competitively viable. But since you said based only on first impressions... It had a leaf bowtie. Fancy points give it the win. Though the cat will probably be a beast competitively, BC it will likely be a Dark Tiger. I still like BWARK, though! Aaargh, I am not usually indecisive, but they all have their merits!
