    Ugh just one bad person can ruin a lot of good lives. Some of my friends' high school teacher was one of the wounded in the vegas shooting...his wife who was also there is in critical condition :[

      Evil is necessary. Without it, we'd not be able to appreciate, or even understand and define good.

      Everything is defined through it's opposite. So, yes, evil exists. But in my eyes, it's only purpose is to lead us towards good.

    Yeah I admittedly wasn't a fan of the music change in E16 in regards to meteor regular theme(I get why though due to that weird freeze bug with it) or the gym leader theme. It was just so perfect before(shade's new theme is no bueno). Personally I can't wait to start a new game. I'll probably choose Litten because Incineroar is boss and fire gets the best field benefits early on. Plus it feels the most Reborny of the 3 alola starters. Also I feel amaria or adrienne should get Primarina. But adrienne's must be male.

    Definitely. There's the also angle of how they work within the context of pokemon's world, with trubbish help keeping Unova clean by devouring trash as its main food source. This is an important thing to consider when designing fakemon too. You can't just look at it from a gameplay perspective but a worldbuilding one too. Though one could argue that GF sometimes emphasizes the latter too much. It's really silly how some evolutions don't get a stone retcon because GF doesn't want to mess up their eyes of what's "canon" or something. There's no good reason leafeon and now Glaceon can't evolve with a leaf/ice stone. It's just GF being stubborn.

    Of course they are. Treat your fakemon as if you were actually designing a pokemon for Gamefreak. Though admittedly I don't even think most fans of the actual games take enough time to actually understand many pokemon designs anyway, writing them off at first glance without attempting to examine the finer details and direction of the pokemon. Case and point elemental monkeys who get unfairly called lazy. I get if you think they're ugly but they're not as lazy as their critics claim them to be.

    Saw Kingsman: The Golden Circle. Really enjoyed, most fun I've had with a movie in a long time.

    lol whoa you must really not like Nick. Though...he was the least popular leader in the polls, and his win/lose ratio was the worst too, no? Hmmm...kind of surprised he's still around tbh. Like you think they'd at least change his character if not the person playing him.

    GARUMPH @rayyanI have a few things to say about shiftry, good sir. First of all its line are based off tengu, a sort of mythical creature in Japanese mythology. If you've played Megaman you'd know of Tenguman, or the Dead or Alive series which has bankutso-bo(simply called Tengu). Shiftry is well done take on the tengu and one of the cooler interpretations IMO. The dark typing fits the tengu's original mythos as being destructive and warlike deities, with the grass typing fitting their later interpretations as forest protecters and guardians, although still violent somewhat. The white hair brings to mind their age and fits the general portryal of tengu in Japanese artworks, and the leaf hands(which are brilliant) which are styled after the fans tengu carried which let them conjure up wind storms(hence shiftry learning leaf tornado and hurricane, as well as Megaman's tenguman giving you tornado hold). the long nose is a defining characteristic of tengu which is apparent on shiftry, and the single heedled geta sandals worn by them resemble shiftry's feet. Hopefully this gets you to understand shiftry and maybe you can appreciate it more now.

    @nagisa_Hideyoshi: Nidoking doesn't resist giga drain, it's neutral towards it. Combined with roserade's high special attack and nidoking's rather average special defense, it's pretty apparent why Roserade would give it trouble. Not to mention nidoking's special attack is only 85 while roserade has well above average special defense of 105. Even with sheer force Nioking isn't oneshotting it easily. Also guys aromatisse isn't a hooker, not sure how you even get that from her design. She's like a flashy line dancer, think something from a Vegas show(which funnily enough has a famous hotel called the Flamingo, the animal her line draws from physically).

    The constant rotating of the pyschic leaders is pretty funny. They're the "defense against the dark arts teachers" of Redemption I don't remember Jasper really, I just remember dexter and then him as some other persona in season 2 before quitting.

    New UBs? No one expected that! Finally some legit hype for this game? However it's confirmed that this game isn't a BW2 type sequel, as there's images of GET BACK IN DA BAG NEBBY! at melemele meadow showing it's the same basic storyline but with some twists. Kind of a bummer but hopefully the new content makes up for it.

    Hardy's one of my favorite leaders actually. He's the nicest and most down to earth dude in the game. His hair is nice too. Much more likable than his sister imo.

    Had to put gen 5-er excuse me UNOVA here because I couldn't edit images into my previous post for some reason. This was my favorite gen and I always felt the quantity over quality complaint from its critics was silly since you get quality pokemon regardless of quantity.
