  1. Probably one of the best episodes. Haxorus zipping through the air is such a GIF moment.
  2. Dat. New. Generations. Episode. MYLORD that ANIMATION!

  3. Lillie's theme is so nice

I've got to say, GlaDIOn's theme is one of my favorites of all time.

  4. Let's disagree there actually. I'll give you dark but ghost I thought was just alright. I like Shattered Psyche more. One thing about these Z moves is that the anime is going to make them look incredible. Gigavolt Havoc and Inferno Overdrive already looked super cool when they were shown. Though I can see a lot of recycled frames being used later on lol. After beating the main story, gotta say, SM is probably my favorite pokemon game. Ending was lovely, I was getting a bit teary eyed. My god has GF evolved since gen 1. Loving this game so much.
  5. Finally someone else who appreciates arbok. I sued him in my poison/electric run and he was useful all the way up till Terra. Dude is massively underrated IMO in that what he lacks in power makes up for his ability in debuffing opponents.
  6. Bug and grass seem like they'd get walled really hard by charlotte. I don't think rock is that good and ground honestly has problems in doubles due to friendly fire.
  7. Mist. It shuts down Shade pretty hard as it weakens his hard hitting shadow balls and stops his pokemon from getting field bonuses off their attacks. Bonus points if you chose Delphox as mystical fire gets buffed off it. In fact, mist is a huge reason why I kept Pelipper far longer than i would have otherwise on my flying monorun. Any field-changing move is a godsend in Reborn.
  8. Sun moon anime isn't that bad actually. Dare I say I enjoyed it? The animation is excellent even if Ash himself looks gross.

  9. Yeah know that thing about edginess? While I dislike calling something too edgy...this sort of fits into that very well. "Face sunken like that of a heroin addict" is a terrible simile too, as it totally breaks immersion and sounds more comical than anything.
  10. ^^That's plenty of Z moves though and unlike megas majority of them aren't locked to certain pokemon. Seems rather greedy to say there's not enough z-moves. On another note, Rotom dex is brilliant and legitimately one of the most likable characters in the game.
  11. The acting was a bit weird at times but this was actually pretty awesome. Brycen doesn't need pokemon to beat you down. Unova proving why it has the best leaders.
  12. Okay today's generations was pretty awesome. Man what a Friday

  13. 9 attempts FINALLY female!

Um why? Its typing and stats are bad. ><

  15. glitchXcity with the team skull battle remix!

  16. Beldum is not a necessity and I find all the work to get it tiresome. No medicham?
  17. Chatter is the dumbest move in the entire game. Confusion is already annoying as hell but a fully accurate special move that inflicts confusion always? GTFO. Screw Taka TBH.

Nuzzle is just a physical thunder wave for pikaclones. the damage is miniscule unlike chatter(which hurts early on)and it also triggers contact abilities. Also confusion is more frustrating than paralysis IMO. Not as consistent but it can end up really harmful.

There's also No Guard Dynamic Punch.

But it relies on an ability to work reliably. I kinda agree with Mono, Chatter is one helluva busted move

  18. But that begs the question: is it better to have a starter that'll be solid entire game, or one that's a monster late game but less impressive early on? I think contrary serperior is being overrated a little myself.
  19. I've done runs with poison/electric(which was fun), ice/psychic(also fun) and ground/steel(not fun, didn't even finish this one). I also started normal but got bored with it really early on and never finished grass due to my laptop dying, though it was fun if challenging(let me tell you about flobot's ferroseed).. I did finish a flying monorun which was a blast and has plenty of good options. to me the best types to monorun are the ones that make good use out of the field system. Electric, fire and Poison are all good at this to some degree. I really liked using poison since you get a wide variety of pokemon entire game and thematically they fit Reborn kind of well I think. It's also one of my favorite types. So yeah, poison.
  20. Tfw when your whismur takes out Julia's electrode with just one HP remaining.

  21. I wouldn't say it falls off that much if you get Charizard heat wave via move tutor. Heat wave is excellent in Reborn due to its field triggering effects. He was quite useful against Blake due to it in my flying run. It was still my MvP much of the time even once it evolved.
  22. I remember doing a grass monorun(though I never finished due to my laptop dying) and actually regret choosing contrary snivy instead of regular. Contrary snivy is arguably weaker early game against gym leaders since it has no way of boosting itself and is reliant on opponents using debuffs, which don't usually happen with tougher opponents. With grass runs the sunny day/growth combo is very useful at least early on and growth on contrary snivy is totally useless, For snivy I'd suggest getting overgrow and changing over to contrary later on with an ability capsule when it can better utilize its ability.
  23. Greninja is definitely A tier, and probably the best water starter. Fire has the easiest time in this game generally speaking but it'll probably struggle on the last gyms since we have sapphira, amaria, and hardy to go. Typhlosion, blaziken, Infernape are the 3 best fire starters IMO. Delphox and Charizard are not bad by any means either, and i never tried emboar. One thing about Reborn is that certain factors(fields, multi hitting moves) change the effectiveness of certain starters. Like Infernape strong as he is is actually inferior to Charizard's line early on due the the inability to utilize fields to his advantage as well, plus Charmeleon having dragon rage makes early game much easier. Come to think of it Charizard might actually be better than Infernape, depending on how your team is built. Charizard was very good in my flying monorun, that's for sure. But at the same time Infernape' s damage output is better and he's affected by field bonuses unlike Charizard who isn't, though that's not always a good thing lol. Typhlosion is straight up beastly once you give him eruption via heart scale(because screw waiting till level 70 or whatever) and is a godsend in double battles, especially with sun support.
