Honestly, I'm not surprised by this as I've seen a few instances of this happening already and it's going to keep happening. I don't honestly care either way what happens to online since I don't really use it. I get why people like it as it's technically more genuine, but with the whole "OMG it's so cool to hack Pokemon in" stuff going around it's not like much besides online battling will be lost. Do what you gotta do to not make this stressful Marc.

@Wolfox If the server is taken down, that means all online functions will cease including battling and not just trading. Also, I doubt it's just one person doing it, but it does only take one to ruin something.

the main reason I only mentioned trading is that, to my knowledge, that is the online feature used most and would, from my point of view, be the bigger loss as Showdown is still a thing.

Unless you can somehow prevent unobtainable pokemon to enter the trade, you're not going to prevent shit. Game is free for everyone and not just forum users. No threat about the offline server is going to stop someone who is not even here to read it (who says he or she even cares?).

Who the hell wants unobtainables and legendaries anyway? Isn't that the whole point of this game, to play with the best thing you can get? Besides everything will be but in eventually anyway.

I'm completely with you Marcello. I loved the 13 games as well and do have lightning returns on steam myself.

I don't remember how expensive the DLC is on PS3, but if it hits a sale, getting LR on Steam will probably be cheaper than finally buying all the DLC for my PS3 copy so... Almost certainly worth. It helps that I love the hell out of the games.

Have you played LR yet? I have it on my xbox 360 but my xbox hard drive froze and died during my playthrough of it so I got it on steam to play and beat it but I haven't gotten the chance to with playing Fates in my free time. I do believe you should get LR from Steam though. FF13 love for the win.

At least in most other FE games, the characters you got at the end had much higher grows than those early on to compensate for having less time to level them?

Perhaps for some of them, particularly in the case of say FE6 were the last chars have insane growths, but shrug. Not so much the case in 4, just a fun and different take on the game.

I mean, yes, it uses shounen cliches a lot, but it uses them well. And it has some really good characters as well.

I hated a bunch of the main characters in the first season, but season 2 was a lot more fun.
