  1. Didn't they already make a Metroid FPS with Metroid Prime Hunters? They also did Metroid Federation force but that shit tanked hard. I personally think Nintendo shouldn't stray too far from their franchises' main formulas. Nowadays when developers try to make spinoffs to their most popular games, they just feel so disconnected from their source material see Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts. Granted, games like Mario Kart and Smash Bros did strike out on their own and really stirred the pot but those games have become pretty well established franchises of their own. I guess if Nintendo does intend to broaden their horizons, they should be very, very careful of what they do.
  2. Yeah that's pretty much how I feel. Before Pocket Camp's launch I was playing Seabeard a ton and it feels vastly superior gameplay wise aside from being a little more stingy when it comes to premium currency. I guess that's the biggest advantage Pocket Camp has over most mobile Animal Crossing ripspin-offs is Nintendo's generosity when it comes to IAPs. We've seen this with Fire Emblem: Heroes. But since all my friends are playing this I may as well stick around for a bit. Here's my ID: 7255 9511 742
  3. Genocidal Organ is what you would get if Hideo Kojima and Neill Blomkamp made an anime movie together.

  4. Having an end goal is great and all but sometimes you feel an experience is so good you never really want it to end. Hence the "endgame" aspect for many games. Grinding for that legendary loot, fighting the additional bosses, or even playing the DLC. Of course, nothing great last forever. And I'd rather not pay for more of the game than I already did.
  5. Getting back into Warframe. Prepping for the big update coming very soon (hopefully).
  6. I appreciate the team's dedication to thoroughly polishing the game. Honestly wish games from triple A developers had the same amount of investment put into them so they come out bug-free. *COUGH* Rainbow Six: Siege *COUGH* UBISOFT *COUGH*
  7. Yeah just get the Switch. I would wait until both of those games actually come out to see how they are. I dunno about you guys but FE Warriors looks kinda... Underwhelming to me.
  8. Again, it totally depends on their use in the game. If they're only for negligible cosmetics, thats fine; integral features/content, you dun fucked up. Lootcrates are the exception. Their sole purpose is to get players to spend more and more to get a specific thing. This is not the same as just purchasing cosmetics because then you actually know what you're getting. It completely fucks with the value of content as somebody can drop tons of cash in hopes of getting a specific item while somebody else can potentially get it randomly for less money. I find it especially unacceptable for singleplayer games to charge for microtransactions.
  9. This game has everything now. Including fancy doggos.
  10. Titanfall 2. Seriously underrated game.
  11. Should definitely give it a shot even though I do agree the character designs are pretty funny with their goddamn spaghetti limbs.
  12. Buy it digitally. It probably still sells for a full 50 bucks for a physical copy that was used. As for emulators the 3DS emulator is still trying to get on its feet. You'll definitely need a capable PC setup to get it running and thats if you can find a reliable download for the game. 3DS and Wii U emulation is far from being as widespread as GBA, GameCube, and N64 emulation.
  13. What is your computer's processor? Most emulators are pretty reliant on CPU rather than GPU. If you have a decent CPU then expect relatively smooth framerates.
  14. Consoles are generally low maintenance but you certainly can do a lot more with a capable PC. With consoles you don't really need to tweak in game settings too much to maximize performance because the default option is typically the only and the most consistent option while on PC there is definitely a lot more trial and error involved in getting games to run good and well as looking nice. Value wise, you can get a fairly decent PC built for less than 800 dollars depending on sales and availability while consoles sell for a lot less but will probably be outdated in a couple of years.
  15. I don't see anything wrong with the new Doctor being a woman as long as her performance doesn't blow rectum like the previous two Doctors.

David Tennant is and always will be the true Doctor in my heart.

  16. I've never dabbled in MOBA games before but I have to say, Battlerite is pretty fun.

Its free on Steam for the weekend only so I thought I'd give it a shot.

not too keen on moba's myself, the comunity of some of them *cough* lol *cough* really turns me off. if I wanna learn a game that's team based I'd rather not be called a moron just because I just started playing. and I think moron would be a compliment compared to other things you'll get hurled at you

Battlerite is great but It's really not a good measure of what a MOBA is like. Especially since the devs and most of the playerbase insist on calling it something else.

If I get the chance this weekend maybe we can play together. I've been many lonely

  17. Phew, managed to place into a higher math class so I'm not set back 4 years at my first year at Uni.

  18. One of the hinges on my glasses squeaks...

A little bit disconcerting even though I really like the style of these frames.

      WD40 always does the job

But make sure not to use too much, because that would really make your glasses too greasy

I think I actually loosened the screw enough to stop the squeaking.

Also yeah I was really hoping to not use WD40 on something that I'll be wearing close to my eyes.

      Oh cool, well done! :D

  19. The campaign looks pretty solid. I absolutely love the concept behind this game. I remember the Deadliest Warrior DLC for Chivalry being complete trash so in a way this is the true Deadliest Warrior experience. However, I cannot, WILL NOT accept the fact that this game's multiplayer utilizes a peer-to-peer connection during matches. Like who's the genius who thought having an easily abusable connection in a reactive and competitive game was a good idea? Absolutely fucking stupid.
  20. Reminder to all: don't binge Junji Itou's work late at night.

You're bound to see some disturbing shit that'll probably keep you up for the rest of the night.

  21. Decided to read Uzumaki by Itou Junji also, WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST READ???

  22. New Castlevania show on Netflix is actually pretty good.

  23. Snake (Big Boss) from the Metal Gear series Handsome Jack from Borderlands 2 Face McShooty from Borderlands 2 Makoto Nijima from Persona 5 Also worth mentioning my least favorite video game character.
  24. If you type in dxdiag in the bottom search bar it'll run a program that tells you the model and specs of your device. I know my old HP Pavilion 17 had some issues with starting up and charging. So what'd I have to do is take the battery pack out and put it back in. If your laptop has a visibly detachable battery pack on the underside I suggest you try taking it out and putting it back in. If it doesn't then don't bother with this idea. As for your internet connection, have you just tried turning your modem of and on again? HP does put out some wonky products. An old HP laptop will definitely start having problems.
  25. Happy b-day America!
