  1. Try this one. I'd test it in-game to see how it'd look but I don't own a shiny Metagross, so...
  2. I had pizza last night, stop making me want more...

  3. Byxbysion is a weird word that takes time to figure out how to spell, let alone pronounce. I should expect people to butcher it. Incidentally, it's not a pronunciation thing, but I thought Rhodochrine was "Rhondochrine" for a while. Kinda smacked myself in the face when I realized there was no N there. Whoops.
  4. Episode 1: Reborn, the City of Ruin Episode 2: Reap What's Been Sewn Episode 3: Domino Episode 7 is Poison in Vain again, I think. Edit: There it is. Taken from here, if you were curious.
  5. *eyeroll* Keep yo money. I shouldn't be doing this but I have them anyway and I want to
  6. Also, Reborn is pretty nifty because you can easily see IVs/EVs by pressing Z on a Pokemon's stats page, unlike in the main series games~ /inb4 ninja'd 20 billion times on that point
  7. Quite simply, by talking to them when you actually own a Helix Fossil. You can find them through mining, but they're a bit rare.
  8. We've already got them. You can Headbutt Taillow outta trees in the Aventurine Woods. I think we'll get Slowpoke and Relicanth, out of those. Ferroseed seems out of place, Lapras is too good (although appropriate) and iirc Ame said we're not getting Feebas yet.
  9. This. Very much this. Especially for what she may or may not have done on that couch.
  10. A part of me is like "Ooooo, Surf!~" But another part of me is going "Oh lord, bring on the Tentacool".
  11. Sounds like he's got you pretty flustered... No but honestly, I think Terra might be worse, in the little time we've had her appear. Or perhaps it's just that she's much more... let's say "straightforward". Cain with his innuendos directed at literally anyone and everyone is amusing, though. I've much love for him~ Oh, my...
  12. For Servine, was Overgrow active? That'd be a start. But anyway, Reborn is quite fond of taking your hopes and dreams and shitting all over them. Part of the appeal, I think. ...Also this sounds like Fern's doing, so... there's also that. There is a reason everyone hates Fern, and I'm not talking about his shitty attitude.
  13. PULSE Muk can be added to the list of things that give me much rage. /not sure whether she should be furious or embarrassed that the damn thing fainted two thirds of her team before she managed to kill it... and it wasn't even the last Pokemon On the plus side, much to my delight, I've discovered that the Chatot will never give me trouble again. Soundproof is an ability that I'd never thought I'd have such appreciation for.
  14. I don't know about you, but I don't like finding random whales in my ice cream.
  15. Pretty much all of Gengar's coverage comes from currently unobtainable TMs (breeding aside). Although Destiny Bond should definitely be taken into account, as it's... well, Destiny Bond. Most people don't care to win that way, though. Crobat is the better choice, so far as strictly level-up movepool goes.
  16. Chandelure with Flamethrower and Energy Ball is very possible, actually. I have one. The chain is: Growlithe/Vulpix/anything with Flamethrower in the Field egg group -> Snubbull -> Swirlix (level up for Energy Ball) -> Castform -> Litwick Similarly, Torterra with Swords Dance and Body Slam is: Zangoose/Leafeon/something with Swords Dance in the Field egg group -> Seedot -> Tropius (level up for Body Slam) -> Turtwig I'd only recommend these if you don't mind painfully long egg chains, though. Also keep in mind that, if Ame decides to remove TM moves passing down via breeding, these won't be possible anymore. But that goes without saying.
  17. ...So if Slowking gets a Mega, is it going to be the Shellder shell with legs?

    2. The Radiant Aeon

      The Radiant Aeon

Actually I don't exactly remember but I do believe that Shellder injects a toxin in the Slowpoke's brain that makes it all smart and shit. Oddly enough the dumber of the two is the better.

    3. Raindrop Valkyrie

      Raindrop Valkyrie

Well, Slowbro is so dumb he doesn't feel pain. So, maybe that is why he is better than his smarter cousin.

    4. Vinny

      Vinny

Hey, Slowpoke ain't dumb. Slowpoke is omniscient.

Anyway, you gotta love how only the Shellder gets affected by the mega, not Slowpoke. :I

  18. Mega Salamence is a boomerang incarnate. I'm too busy ogling Altaria's fancy new cloud hat to care, though.

    1. FeatherDuster

      FeatherDuster

I think he looks like a frisbee, and don't steal the hat! ><

  19. ...If I'm assuming you mean the one in Coral Ward, then no, you do not- just the Daycare couple. Since I've avoided saving the one particular Pokemon in Coral Ward, as I had no intention of using it. And Ditto has always appeared in that cage for me regardless of that. I could be thinking of the wrong Pokemon because I'm a derp but yeah
  20. I would say 40-ish hours is a reasonable estimate... despite clocking in 170-something hours on the main file on account of how much breeding/messing around/getting lost (and no one ever was surprised) I've done. It will vary from player-to-player, though- depending on how much exploring you do and perhaps how new of a player you are to Reborn, you could take longer than that. The most recent file I've gotten to the end of E12 is sitting at 57 hours, and that's with slight amounts of breeding/not really going after every single sidequest.
  21. The Ditto won't appear unless you've already saved the Daycare couple, if I'm remembering right. As I'm assuming you haven't, you'll have to wait until 7th Street now regardless, methinks. To activate the quest to save them, you simply need to go and keep talking to them in Obsidia Ward... and I'll leave it to you to figure it out from there.
  22. You've missed talking to someone else, then. You're supposed to talk to someone from the Gang you're in (iirc it's Razzy for the Aqua Gang, I don't remember who it is for Magma...), then the junk dealer, then the guy in the white robe, then talk to him. He'll tell you that someone went into the watering hole after that.
  23. It doesn't just type jump from Poison to Water, it also jumps to Electric and Ground. Good luck~ ...Okay but in all seriousness, yeah, this one is a team effort kind of deal. It's not impossible, though, just extremely sturdy. Take advantage of its type jumping to the best of your ability, is my best advice. Physical attacks will also deal more damage to it than special ones, since it has lower Defense than Special Defense. The AI is also sometimes just dumb I mean really type jump to Poison against my Meowstic ZEL pls
  24. Lost Lore

    Dusk stone

There is indeed one in Iolia Valley- you need the last upgrade for the Crystal Plug, and to activate the first purple crystal you run into there (the one nearest to the entrance). Then take the very first highest up cave, and you'll come to a dead end with a Dusk Stone there. ...That's probably not a good enough description, but it's kind of hard to describe when there are literally caves everywhere in Iolia Valley...
  25. I'd say Aqua's is easier, considering Reborn is literally packed with Water-types, leaving you one pretty sizable advantage over the Magma Gang. It depends entirely on what team you're using, though. If you're crazy like me and decide to do a Grass mono-type I'll leave it to you to figure out which is easier.
