  1. Okay, so, depending on which of them is the bigger threat... you wanna take that one out first. Make it a 2 on 1, because you're gonna want it to be 2 on 1. In my experience, ZEL's Eeveelutions are worse, so I'd usually focus on those guys first. Lileep is annoying spamming Confuse Ray, but it's not very threatening otherwise. I can't offer you much more advice than that, really... open with Combusken (and maybe Azurill, if it has Thick Fat), try to take Glaceon down fast, then Kricketune can pretty easily clean up Espeon and Umbreon by stacking Fury Cutters. I'd have Persim Berries on hand to deal with Confuse Ray, too, but I don't know if you feel like backtracking to buy those. As for Ralts, you won't be able to get it until after your fifth badge. The only hint I'm going to give you to point you in the right direction once you're there is that you need Rock Smash, but it's not rocks you should be trying to smash...
  2. Anything in the field egg group that learns Thunder Wave can pass it on to Meowstic... ...Just a friendly reminder from your local Meowstic enthusiast. Anyway though, Sableye can too, I think, but getting Thunder Wave onto that is a wee bit harder. (Why is it in the Humanshape egg group in the first place? It's not even vaguely human shaped... well maybe if you squint...) Otherwise though, Swagger's really not worth the effort, in my opinion.
  3. On that note, if you're quite dead-set on using Xatu as a dual screener, you can breed Reflect/Light Screen from a Sigilyph onto a Natu. Something to keep in mind, even if you're not one for breeding~
  4. You have Gyarados All suggestions are wasted on you. Okay no in all seriousness, you're going to want counters to the types that Flying is weak against. You've got Rock and Ice covered, so I'm going to suggest a Dragon/Flying type to cover the one for Electric. Noivern is awesome for a speedy special attacker, and Altaria is okay... so long as you'd prefer its bulk over dealing damage. Noibat is a nightmare to train up, though... And yes, switch Butterfree for Yanmega. You could also temp switch it for Vespiquen, if you want something sturdier. Also Honchkrow. Definitely get a Murkrow when it's obtainable- Prankster is nice enough, but Moxie ends lives. Granted you already have that with Gyarados but Gyarados doesn't have priority Sucker Punches. Or Super Luck + Night Slash, if that's your thing.
  5. "Autumn stole the foe Cacnea's Big Root!" I took that the wrong way, someone help me

  6. Nearly blacked out against the Pokemon Gang because my entire team bar Braixen was weak to Dark, fucking yaaaaay.

Ouch, hopefully you have something for Luna by then.

Well, Gallade/Gardevoir are long since available by then, and so is Malamar. I'm not worried about Luna, at least, not right now.

inb4 Luna gets a new team for some random reason.

  7. The soonest you can get to 7th Street is... after Radomus, as you may have feared. That's why you really want to pick up Ditto as soon as it's available. That being said, you look like you're doing okay without Roserade, and that's not really likely to help you against any of the next few Gyms (Serra's... entire setup, Noel's birds), so... ...Forget Water-types, Reborn isn't nice to Grass-types. Not that any game is, really.
  8. Oh lord... I can see the amount of Noel help topics quintupling from here...
  9. Togepi's Peck I still want a Drain Punching Shroomish because that is just brilliant.
  10. Use a Dedenne. Hopefully its cuteness will serve you well~ (You said any Electric-type bar legendaries, so...)
  11. There's this one Strength boulder randomly in the middle of the floor that you have to push down a hole, so Tepig isn't obtainable until after you get Strength. At least, that's how I remember it being, it's been a while since I've done that event...
  12. You can find them on the fifth floor of Obsidia's Department Store, iirc.
  13. Even turning into Arceus won't save him from being curb-stomped by the player.
  14. I am going to punt this Pichu off the roof when I manage to get it to appear over here...

...Don't make the same mistake i did.

      Please.

  15. But Ame's insane puzzles are one of the best parts of the game. Just imagine once we get to Ametrine Mountain, though. Ice puzzles. Oh the ice puzzles.
  16. Thank you for all the birthday wishes, guys~ I feel all warm and fuzzy.

It's never too late. And, thank you~

  17. If I catch you eating all of my cheese, there's gonna be trouble. You have 200 posts already but I'm gonna welcome ya anyway. I don't think I need to tell you any of the usual stuff? Besides to hang onto your hat(s), because if you don't, I will thieve them. Yes, that's the real reason I tell people to hang onto their hats. Dun dun dun. Tired and giggly is the best combination, incidentally. Unfortunately it makes you prone to laughing at the stupidest things ever. I've been there. Your username is a typo? I had no idea... was wondering what Tacps were...
  18. This. In a way, the story of the League being in a game (even with embellishments in places) also helps ensure that those who haven't survived aren't forgotten, and that their legacy lives on. That sounds super corny but I think you get my point
  19. Azumarill is probably the best you can get, but Sharpedo (dat Speed Boost), Crawdaunt (dat Adaptability) and Vaporeon (dat HP + Hydration) are all quality options. Oh, and Swampert- I'm really fond of my Swampert. The Rock/Water fossils are worth mentioning too, if only because Omastar and Carracosta have access to Shell Smash. And no, Ducklett is terrible. It gets some okay moves really early, but that doesn't really save it from being mediocre. Nor does evolving. I'd pick something else until you've settled on a Water-type.
  20. Try buying some Pokesnax and come back? Some events don't want to appear unless you've got Pokesnax in your bag.
  21. Lost Lore

    Focus Sash

This mean that there's at least two currently obtainable in the game? That's cool, even if they're one-use only. (The other one is in Byxbysion Grotto. Surprised me when I found it, too.)
  22. You... are correct. And now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna go fangirl Awassddfdgfasaw MY FAVOURITE WATER TYPE BEFORE SHELLY YES I picked a great day to form a rain team Also Ame might want to change the initial text that says she (Craudburry) can "obtain another one from Johto or Hoenn" because I'm pretty sure Buizel is not native to either of those regions.
  23. Bad idea, because who knows where it would end up? The best idea would be for Amaria to keep it, so she knows it doesn't end up with someone else (and potentially end up in Team Meteor's clutches).
  24. Corey's new field almost threw my strategy out the window... I am so thankful for picking up that Numel right now.
