  1. The Chrysolia Forest puzzle is gone as soon as you defeat PULSE Abra, I think. But it's definitely gone sometime after Noel. That aside, I doubt those videos were up to date, so let me offer some (hopefully helpful) advice: First, all of his Psychic attacks and Strength have Rock-typing (because psychically flinging chess pieces from the field), so Rapidash is going to get destroyed real quick. Yanmega is, too, although that at least has STAB Bug attacks to deal some damage, and you're gonna want Bug moves for a couple of his Pokemon. Second of all, he runs Trick Room, so if you let him get it set up, you're gonna have a bad day. His Reuniclus and Slowking are the only things of his I've seen use it, and he opens with the former. Meaning, take it out and take it out fast. And finally, yes, he has Fairy moves. Actually, his signature is Fairy-type, so... yeah. I'd bring a Steel or a Poison-type to handle her, since she's not easy to take down otherwise, 'specially with the level advantage. People have said he's easy now though, so... idek. Why did you hashtag Radomus this isn't Tumblr #much confuse #very reborn #wow
  2. Y'all are hella talented and all of those are awesome. That Fern comic totally didn't have me in stitches for a better part of the afternoon yesterday However... I was kinda under the impression that Shade had named his Gengar Corey because... it was Corey's Haunter. He did release it, so it's perfectly possible that it's under new ownership. And since Shade likes reminding the player not to let... "dying souls suffer to the poison in vain", it seems very fitting for him to do that. This theory is cooler, admittedly, but I'm not sure how much stock I'd put into it.
  3. Welcome to the insanity that is Reborn. Similarly, if you're unfortunate enough to have any small inkling of your sanity intact, I'd advise you do away with it before it is dragged away from you kicking and screaming post-haste. Also hide your hat(s) from me, if you have any. If you intend on wearing them, then you'd best hang onto them, because you're in for a wild ride. P.S. I'll be ninja'd, but anyway: At the sidebar to the left there, click on your name, then go to Edit my Profile, up in the top right-hand corner. Click on Signature. Should be easy enough to figure out from there~
  4. If you can't concentrate on reading because of someone talking nearby, it must not be a very good book. Jussayin'.

The question is, do they expect you to actually listen to what they are saying.

  5. Julia's... everything ever using Electric moves on my Lightningrod Electrike. I would've excused just once, but this was multiple times with different Pokemon. Noel U-Turning to Girafarig on my Houndoom, and later doing so again, only it was to Clefable against my Drapion. With Staraptor, mind you, so it's not like it was at a disadvantage. Aaaaand way back in Episode 10, Radomus' Starmie using Surf on my Roserade. Which I have never forgotten and I still make jokes about. (It might not have had a Psychic move, though, so maybe excusable. No idea what its full moveset was.) The AI is just really, really dumb sometimes. Usually it isn't, but every once in a while... I don't know how I feel about improvements for Episode 13- on the one hand, it'll cause me less facepalms. On the other, the AI's "mercy" is the only thing that's gotten me through some battles... I shudder to think what would've happened had ZEL's Umbreon decided it wanted to spam Dark moves in the ZEL/Taka double battle... my poor all Psychic-type team...
  6. Have a Gothita. I'm assuming you know where to get it? In the house where Ralts was before, and you still need Pokesnax. Your best Pokemon is likely to be your starter, assuming you pick one up... this should be interesting.
  7. ...Okay, at least it's not level 100 anym- damnit it still knows Hyper Beam. Why?

It nukes half your team with it, but it is true you likely couldn't beat it otherwise...

  8. No, it's still there. In the same place, on a windy night in the Aqua Gang's alleyway. Pretty sure you need Pokesnax, or else it won't even appear. Also it's a bitch to catch so I wish you luck.
  9. You can't breed Ice Punch onto Swampert because it's a move tutor move. Not to mention the fact that Mudkip can't learn it anyway. If you're dead-set on an Ice move, however, the chain you use to get Waterfall onto it can work to get you Ice Beam, since Remoraid gets it via level up.
  10. "...Wait, what? Blue Moon Ice Cream dropped down!" ...Dangit. If only that had been on my main file...

  11. The Garchomp isn't a requirement, don't listen to these crazies. If you don't defeat Ditto-ceus there's gonna be problems, though Defeat them if you've got a game plan for it. Otherwise, don't worry about losin'- they're scripted loss battles after all, you're supposed to. Here's hoping you're lucky enough to get a good starter from that poll, and you don't get luck-sacked too frequently. That can make or break you in Reborn, as I'm sure you know. Edit: Aaaaand... ninja'd! But my last point still stands.
  12. The next badge will (logically) raise the cap, since if you're about where you want to be, and not horribly underleveled, you're gonna want the cap at 75. That being said, neither Amaria nor Titania have to be the next leader... and judging from the teaser? Neither will be in any condition to battle you.
  13. I've had quite a few different usernames over the years... my last one had 420 in it and I got quite a few unfortunate jokes about that. Twas a number with relevance to one of my OCs, but nothing to do with drugs, if you were curious. Anyway, Lost Lore is something I've taken on in its place. Lost is a moniker I use a lot lately, and I do feel somewhat... lost at times, wandering the path of life and trying to find a way forward through the ever-shifting mists of time. And while history really isn't my favourite subject (that would be math, if we're talking school), I do quite like learning the history behind certain franchises... Pokemon being one of those. Hence, I became Lost Lore. I quite like the sound of it, and apparently, other people do too.
  14. Y'all are nuts, Totodile's level up learnset is lousy. I love the thing and all, but motherfucking Water Gun until level 62. Gen V love would be nice, so I'm gonna vote Oshawott. Totally not biased because Samurott is my favourite starter Good luck~
  15. Okay, posting to say that: I was very wrong, it is not Roost that is in Aventurine Cave. I have no idea where Roost is, but it was obtainable at some point or another, because I have it in my main file. This is something that should be looked into. I'd do it, but I have no idea where to begin looking, honestly... More detailed information on a couple TMs: TM56 Fling - This is in Aventurine Cave. Flash is not required (is it ever?), but is a wise idea to bring. Clear out the webs and logs in the northwest part of North Aventurine Woods and you'll end up at a cave. Then head due north once you've gotten inside, and go down to the second floor. Have a picture: TM41 Torment - On the lower floor of Apophyll Cave, it's off to a northward path near the Strength rock, but not past it. TM70 Flash - You have to connect the tracks to the west part of the Railnet, where the Aron are. Head down the stairs, and there's a dark spot on the wall, near where the X door is (there's a train there, too). You need Rock Smash. Here's the specific spot: TM87 Swagger - It's the High Striker game you get it from. I believe that's what it's called, anyway. ...No idea if I'm detailing them well enough so I'm sorry about that. >_<
  16. I'll use whatever is available to me. That's why they're there, after all. There are some of us that want EXTREME CHALLENGE MODE and do things like that, but I'm happy with the difficulty as-is. Because I suck. As for Samson, I'm going to be honest- I know what I want to use against him, and I'm a bit worried about him, but considering the fact that Kiki didn't give me nearly as much trouble as I thought, I don't think he's going to smash me into bits. I'll see about doing some grinding tonight after I'm done being an idiot up in Aventurine Woods. (Someone should've told me you need Flash for Aventurine Cave now... OTL)
  17. It depends. Usually I'll only keep an eye on the EVs to keep them from taking up space in stats I don't use (usually the other attacking stat) which results in everything being well-rounded, but weaker than they would have been in certain spots, had I EV trained them properly. Sometimes though, I'll dump 252 EVs into a stat I use (for example, I did that with Meowstic's HP, to help him last longer and set up dual screens) and very rarely, I'll do a full spread. I think I've only done so with two Pokemon, actually- my Aurorus and Metagross.
  18. I want to be mad at having to clear out all those webs and logs again, but I can't because of how much I love Aventurine Woods.

  19. It's not really a fair trade-off, since Nature Power joins Sludge Wave and Frost Breath in the lousy distribution club, and Grass Knot is very good. I wouldn't bother worrying about it, were I you. This is probably going to be similar to the Trick Room/Calm Mind situation in the future, where if you have Nature Power already, when you get to the point the TM is at, you'll get Grass Knot, and vice-versa. Or so I'd assume, anyway.
  20. I haven't played Gates to Infinity, but the major downside I can see coming from it is the lack of Pokemon. The starter choices are horribly limited and even the overall amount of Pokemon you can recruit is small. The transition to 3D doesn't make up for that at all, even if what little I've seen of the game is pretty. But I really enjoyed Red Rescue Team and all of the Explorers ones (Sky being my favourite, if only because of the new dungeons + the Special Episodes), so I'd be all for another installment in the series. What needs to be done is a similar storyline style to Rescue Team/Explorers + all of the Pokemon, not just a select few, with the graphics that Gates to Infinity is known for. Oh, and please leave the ability to choose your starter's gender alone. That was a rather silly thing to do away with...
  21. It was a bit of a stall battle, and Garchomp was out of PP by the very end of it, but it's certainly not impossible: I started by switching between Mightyena and Scrafty to get its Attack to -6 (Intimidate). Then I used Liepard to get its accuracy down to -6 as well (this required Cotton Candy, as I'm sure you can guess). Finally, I sent Drapion in, set up Hone Claws to get Attack (and accuracy) to +6, and then proceeded to demolish it with Ice Fang. Burned through all of his Full Restores very quick, and was KO'd after trying to Struggle (it missed). All you really need to do to defeat it is have a strategy in mind, like with pretty much any major battle in Reborn. Edit: And, incidentally, since I was quite proud of this achievement, as it was my first time beating it:
  22. I have both my saves (and Reborn, as it stands, although that hasn't left much room for anything else) on my flash drive, so I can take them with me. Ergo I can still make updates, if I really want to. Actually I really do, but I'll get to that momentarily. I'm not the one to ask for help with mono-types, but I guess I can give one piece of advice: Cover your weaknesses. In the case of Poison, you'll want either of the Poison/Darks or the Gastly line for Psychic-types, and a Grass/Poison (there aren't any Water/Poisons available, so) for Ground. I use a Dark/Psychic, a Dark/Flying and a Poison/Dark to cover my weaknesses to Fighting, Bug and Fairy, respectively, as an example. That aside, have an update, since I'm here: I've actually completed the Route 2 puzzle on the south side and gotten the Battle Pass- Fury. I'm just being lazy about grinding, which is stopping me from making any progress. That, the fact that I'm also doing a Psychic mono-type (which I never bothered to make a topic for, and don't intend to- no forum clogging from me), and computer problems are what's taking so long. Now that I've been reminded, though? That'll speed things along.
  23. ...I'm not? I must be an illusion then... Hunter I told you to quit fucking with people It hasn't been updated since I didn't do so after Luna (due to no team changes), so there were no updates to make besides that. But I figured I would update it after defeating Samson- I just haven't yet. Defeated Samson, I mean. As it's still linked in my signature, though, I'd imagine I have the intention of updating it, wouldn't you? Or that I would have said to lock it myself, had I wanted it locked. I really do need to get on the ball with updating it, though, so this should spur me to do so. Edit: Tacos is trying to do my job for me. I appreciate that, actually~
