Prankster Rain Dance from Meowstic killed the field + Skill Link Cinccino using Rock Blast. Much more effective than I thought it'd be, but it worked. She would've been extremely difficult if I had lacked one of those two things, though, and I know this very well.

Yes, Koffing is in the alleyway in Obsidia Ward. You can also find them (and Weezing) in the Byxbysion Wasteland, but I'm going to assume you want one earlier than that.

It's because they don't pass down in Gen VI anymore- just a consistency thing. You could think of it as her making things harder too, I suppose, since it most certainly will.

Depends entirely on what Pokemon it is... although usually, mine are either dorky or not terribly inventive. They're usually any combination of: normal names, ones named after characters (including Reborn ones as of late), nicknames derived from the Pokemon's name in another language, those named after the titles of songs, and finally, ones that I just think suit them. Chester the Meganium, Madara the Arcanine, Irrlicht the Gourgeist, Echoes the Noivern, and Fiasco the Absol, for examples of each of those, respectively. I nickname everything I catch (that I intend to use, if I can think of a nickname anyway) so if I tried to list examples of all of them this would be a very long wall of text.

I did it with Grass-types. Was... fun. But yeah, the Chatot really only gives a lot of grief in that first battle with Taka in Malchous Forest. In the second one, you can have a 2-vs-1 situation (that's assuming you've taken down ZEL's Eeveelutions first) which makes it a bit easier, and by Azurine Island, you'll have a fully evolved team that likely will have better stats than it does. Now, if it had Boomburst... and maybe retained Nasty Plot for good measure...

There is one in the room with the Aron, but it's blocked off in E12. The only other one is in Iolia Valley, sadly. I think the one in the room with the Aron will be accessible in E13, though.

You can also get Blue Moon Ice Cream while buying any other flavour from the vending machine in Spinel Town- it'll rarely drop down instead of what you bought (meaning that this is the only way for you to get one without burning 20k$ on it... or from Pickup, I suppose).

Spheal's line really is in E13? Was wondering why they weren't- they were a stickler for an icy mountain. Walrein is pretty cool though- served me faithfully in a more recent playthrough of Emerald. Plus his name was Frostpelt and I just really love that nickname for some reason Now the only baffling point is why we can't catch Christmas trees on an icy mountain... or perhaps we can, just not in a part that's accessible yet. Incidentally, the addition of Cottonee means that only Magikarp and Togepi haven't returned from being punted into the abyss that is removal.

I'd maybe change Gourgeist's nature? I don't like sacrificing one defensive stat for the other, even if the one sacrificed isn't all that great. You're not using any special moves, so you might benefit more from Impish if you want +Defense? I'd say the same for Swampert (only it's sacrificing Special Defense for Attack), but it's running mixed, so there's not much I can offer in terms of help there. I think everything else I would've changed has been covered.

As of Episode 12, they have been removed. You'll have to make do with Nest Balls. (...If I'm assuming you can get those, anyway.) Why were they removed? I couldn't tell you.

Togekiss is kinda not obtainable in Reborn (...anymore) so I don't think it can be taken into the equation here. Depends on whether you want a physical attacker or a special one, really. Physical, Azumarill is probably the best you'll get, but Mawile has good typing (and Sheer Force) and Granbull has Intimidate, which is nice. Specially... there are a lot. Gardevoir is likely the best out of those (might be my bias speaking), but Sylveon, Florges and Clefable are all pretty good, too.

*takes one glance at the Short-circuit field* Shadow Ball, Shadow Claw, Shadow Sneak, and Shadow Punch buffs? Nifty field you're gonna have there... Shade. Works very well with the "abandoned" power plant, too. Solrock and Lunatone seem to be hinting at Team Meteor as well, and they do have like... fifteen factories or something. I think Titania is getting a different one, though- it wouldn't suit her very well, even if it buffs moves of her type.

Woe is me for having to use an HM slave for Surf in my Psychic mono because we still have no Water/Psychics. ;A; (I might use Kangaskhan for the role just to have an excuse to use her because she's awesome and I feel guilty for not noticing she was there at first.) I hope Mienfoo stays this time, on another note. I'm not going to bother getting excited for it this time, on account of last time... but I have high hopes.

Everyone uses Dragons because Dragons are badass. ...That or we're all secretly closet Elder Scrolls fans. Out of the choices currently in-game? Flygon is good if you have the patience to get it Earthquake, otherwise, you'd be better off with either Noivern or Tyrantrum, depending if you want to go special or physical. No one mentions Altaria because the poor thing just can't live up to the high standards set by other Dragons... (It might be saved by its Mega evo just a little, though. Maybe. Not in Reborn, sadly, since Mega evos won't be going to the player until after the Elite Four. Probably.)
