  1. Ralts is actually obtainable after the fifth Gym, if you have the Magnet Powder from Blacksteam Factory. You're not even to the Factory yet, so you're out of luck for now.
  2. You can, actually, get rid of the Corrupted field. Since Castform is obtainable, you can use the Sunny Day/Rain Dance combo to change it to a Rainbow field. The question is, do you really want to go through all of that hassle? (I do, but I'm doing it for Florinia so my case is a bit different than yours.) But yes, getting rid of the field is very important. You're going to have a hard time with Corey if you don't. I would also say to grab something that can paralyze the Crobat, since you're going to want to slow it down. Glancing at your boxed 'mons, I see Pachirisu, Budew and Ekans that have methods of doing so via level-up. Take your pick. That Emolga you want can do it, too, since you mentioned it.
  3. Hidden Power is probably your best bet, but I'm kinda doubting you'll get a good type for it. (Granted, anything besides Ice/Ghost would be ideal, I guess.) Could you use a cleric? Heal Bell is obtainable via move tutors in 7th Street. You could also run Barrier to help make her a bit more sturdy. There's not much else, really. Oh, and I guess there's Substitute. Though that really works better with some form of recovery, it can get really obnoxious with that aforementioned Snow Cloak + Brightpowder combo. (I've never actually used Glaceon, since I don't really use Ice-types, so my opinion probably isn't worth much. Fair warning.)
  4. I voted for AAAALLLL THE CHARACTERSSSSS, but as everyone's suggested, keep things subtle. Don't give too much away. That being said, seeing as I know and love and hate some of the characters, I might have a bit of bias. A newer player would probably not want to be spoiled too much, but enough to get them interested. Although I quite like Sarun's suggestion, too. I'd be okay with that as an alternative. Doesn't sound like it'd be fun to script, though, and I don't think we want to add any weird Pokegear bugs. Did I mention that the fact that Radomus is considered popular makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, because it does
  5. Guys, no, just because something learns Psychic/Extrasensory/-insert-Psychic-move-here- doesn't make it a Psychic-type. Golduck and Noctowl learn a bunch of Psychic moves, and by all means should have Psychic-typing, but they don't. That doesn't mean I can treat them as honorary ones. Besides, that would make most of the 'dex Psychic-type since pretty much everything can learn Rest. That's more than a little silly. Typing of course doesn't matter if I just need a specific HM for me to progress, but I do kind of want a Water/Psychic due to my lack of something that can use Ice moves, too. Not to mention Water ones. And close as they may be, I can't use things for battling that don't have Psychic listed as their type. I'm really strict with my mono-types okay- there will be no loopholes Also don't talk to me about feeling taunted by Dratini. Don't. Just don't. I am well past "taunted" territory for that, at this point. But I figured I would be. /stupid off-topic post over
  6. You don't watch the interviews to learn their teams, you watch them to giggle at Gardevoir's shenanigans. (Unless you're there for the Investigation Squad. Or you don't care. The latter means you're legit no fun though) I'm convinced that I'm being taunted with all these unobtainable Water/Psychics being listed in the Pokedex, though... I still have to catch an HM slave to use Surf in le Psychic mono.
  7. Trainers in Reborn not using status moves? I don't know what Reborn you're playing... While Espeon has the superior ability, more power (only slightly, though) and more speed, Gardevoir has better typing and coverage overall, as well as better bulk. Adding Calm Mind from level-up to that list, well, there's really no contest- the answer is Gardevoir. Magic Bounce is still fun to mess around with, yes, but Trace has its uses in messing with the opponent as well. Although it's not really a fair fight, as most Pokemon with buffing moves will do really well in Reborn.
  8. Amaria's is Beau. uwu I quite like the unique titles, though. These match their personalities and are a lot more interesting than the plain old "Leader" title is.
  9. What if someone ragequits before they meet the characters not detailed on that page? I mean, can you imagine not getting to meet Terra?
  10. Hmm... Hmmmmm... /debates about going back to get it for her Dark-mono The only thing I agreed to actually wait for was Dratini okay No you don't.
  11. Yeah, Bennett's ace is probably Volcarona, it's just he hasn't evolved his Larvesta yet the two times we've fought him. It evolves real late, after all. Anna won't have a Jirachi? I'm disappointed...
  12. Shelly's signature is actually her Volbeat (which is nowhere near as threatening as Yanmega, just obnoxious). I think, anyway... Otherwise you are quite right. Similarly, I think Sirius' signature is his Seviper. Not sure on anyone else besides Charlotte, who I think you missed (hers is Ninetales). There's also Samson's, which is Conkeldurr, and Luna's which is Umbreon. My signature? Reborn-wise, definitely Meowstic. I've used it on entirely too many playthroughs and it's been extremely helpful in every single one.
  13. Someone forgot about Zoroark wrecking Shade. Especially now that Night Daze is buffed by his field. But nah, it comes down to the RNG in every Pokemon game. Reborn's Gym leaders just are better suited to take advantage of it. Considering you can go charging in to see what they have first, and plan accordingly afterwards? I'd say you have the advantage anyway.
  14. Yep, PP Ups are on Floor 9 of the Department Store. Well I have plenty of money, myself (since I was grinding things to level 70 on the Grand Hall trainers, and I'm not even done yet) but... I should build a Pay Day Persian army. *checks to see if anything else gets Pay Day* ...A Pay Day Persian and Liepard army. That is great.
  15. ...Wait, what. How did this end up here? Ignore me. >> ...But, I guess, while I'm here. It had slipped my mind, somehow, that Shade's Gym stuck with me pretty hard. Hard enough that I wrote a little thing about that whole string of experiences and it was most definitely another of my favourite moments from this game. That entire puzzle was just "NOPE, SO MUCH NOPE", and his battle music being so warped (and his Chandelure destroying me the first time) was just the icing on the cake. Goes to show that there are too many awesome moments in this game. I can't even keep track of them all.
  16. This is why you use Repels whenever you team up with someone, and go catching things later. Or murder your partner's Pokemon in as timely a manner as possible, because they won't be considerate of anything you might want to catch.
  17. I wonder why Shoal Salt and Shoal Shell are obtainable, since you can already get a Shell Bell...

    2. Vinny

      Vinny

idk... try giving it to your pokes, it might unlock a super secret dratini or something...

    3. Lost Lore

      Lost Lore

That's where they are in Ametrine Mountain- through a super secret tunnel up a Waterfall that requires both of them to access! /conspiracy theories

    4. Eclipse Blaze

      Eclipse Blaze

Maybe you can find more later on and you can get... Wait for it... A second shell bell. Also, IMHO, the reason why there's not enough shoal shells and shoal salts is just to give us hope of getting a second one, just to find out that it's hopeless without more. Simply put, it's just Ame's sadistic sense of humor. I know it sucks, but just bear with it. But, if there is a conspiracy behind it, then that's awesome. More side quests, and less time for programming gyms... Peachy.

  18. Pretty sure you can't get to her just yet, since there are Strength puzzles on ice boulders blocking the way to her. Same with Corey's Skuntank, or so I've heard. Actually, I have seen neither, personally... maybe I need to go look again. Maybe I'm going blind. Maybe it's Maybelline
  19. You can also headbutt Combee out of trees and steal their Honey, you know... or get something with Honey Gather, but that could take quite a while. I don't know if Nyu is supposed to take Oran Berries, but he does take ice cream and candy.
  20. I'm afraid the only direction I can offer is the area the glasses are in... I'm terrible at detailed explanations anyway okay it's a wonder I can type anything ever Here- they're also specifically in South Aventurine Woods:
  21. I lied, have a screenshot because I'm procrastinating That is my favourite moment, hands-down, I'm inclined to agree. That and anything Cain or Radomus says, ever. Especially when the latter is being entirely too self-aware Oh yes, and setting foot in South Aventurine Woods for the first time felt so... refreshing. I don't know why it was there specifically, but something about that place speaks to me.
  22. I wish I had a screenshot of Saphira Hyper Beaming him through the wall, but I'm too lazy to go find my save from near there. Oh well. The order of events is: Battle Sirius at the Yureyu Building, and choose to stop Sigmund when prompted (in Tanzan Cove, I mean). Best alt path because Laura tells you stuff, too.
  23. I think all that Toy Story Avengers soup has gone to your head. We need to stage an intervention. Because seriously why would you want to eat soup out of a mountain- that's gross
  24. Or you're giving it a new family that will do their best to raise it the way the old one would, but also make it stronger than it could be in the wild. Or condemning it to life in the PC box
  25. ...But the Gym guide in Kiki's Gym specifically says that the Fury Badge doesn't raise the cap, only lets you use Surf, so something has gone awry here... Unless it was changed, and I'm just dumb.
