Unfortunately, I am about 90% sure the move relearner doesn't re-teach egg moves in Reborn, so it's impossible to have Charm on an Espeon. And it can't relearn Baby-Doll Eyes period, since only Eevee learns it. (Relearning egg moves is a Gen VI thing anyway, isn't it?)

How to get rid of the spider webs on route 1.
Lost Lore replied to Personthing's topic in Reborn City
Quite literally, there are like, 50+ different items hidden in those woods. I am not exaggerating- I actually got out the Itemfinder and went around finding stuff, keeping track of what all I found. And I still ended up missing some of them because I missed clearing a web and a log. ...I think this shows that I like those Woods/Route 1 entirely too much. -
That's actually the only Pokemon he lost as of E13. (I won't spoil what he has instead, but suffice it to say I was quite relieved it wasn't fully evolved.) However, Noctowl is still quite viable because of reasonably early Reflect increasing its bulk from both ends of the spectrum and indeed, STAB Uproar. (Why you would run Hypnosis and Uproar at the same time is actually beyond me, on that note...)

The best advice I can offer is the same that I offer for mono-types: Cover your weaknesses. As you have two types, that's a lot easier than it would be otherwise. Your aforementioned Greninja can cover Electric's Ground weakness just fine. So focus on covering Dark's Fighting, Bug and Fairy weaknesses. A good choice for the last one would be Magnezone (although that'll be a Magneton for a really, really long time). As for early-game things, definitely pick up that Pachirisu and get yourself a Stunky. The former is sturdy and the latter is quite helpful due to Screech + poisoning things.
-
I would get a Fire-type, were I you- it makes this fight a lot easier. There are a handful available to you right now: Growlithe, Litleo (which is starting to lose its usefulness about this point, but it's still there) and Numel (actually probably the best because it can kill the field with Lava Plume iirc) come to mind. There's also Vulpix, but while this is the point where that Klinklang becomes a good deal more manageable to take down, it still requires a good deal of planning. Drought and turning the field to a Burning one via Flame Burst kind of murders her, though.

It fits too well with Nomos to get rid of, and it was originally Normal-type, so I've always thought it was fair game. I can see how it'd bother some people not being of his type, though...
-
-Anything ever that learns Uproar early and gets STAB for it (Whismur and Hoothoot come to mind) -Pachirisu- seriously, this thing will never die early game it's ridiculous -Trubbish for Toxic Spikes and Acid Spray -Litleo mainly for Work Up and Headbutt, although as that's a trade you've gotta watch its leveling -Espurr. Because Espurr. Okay no seriously, because Psyshock and way early Light Screen. Honestly you can probably find a use for near about everything you can find in Peridot Ward- these are just a few things I've used personally. Most things early-game wise won't hold you over past Shelly, though. (I'm one to talk since I still have Skuntank and Meowstic on my main file but yeah)

Ah, I've done a dual-type run, but not in Reborn... I also haven't finished it but that's beside the point... ironically because I got distracted by Reborn Voting 4th and 6th, types being Dark and Electric. Good luck~

Idek, I've never managed to keep Gyarados on a team past Shade... there are just so many more interesting Pokemon for me to use...
-
...I may be going out on a limb here, but... I really don't think it's me that's doing that this time.

You have access to Vespiquen, who can casually set up thanks to Defend Order being buffed by the field as well. So in a sense, that's an advantage. Rock Slide also probably (well maybe) won't one-shot some of the sturdier ones that aren't Bug/Flying (Wormadam, Forretress and perhaps Leavanny come to mind). Now, that Yanmega, on the other hand... You might want to pack Quiver Dance. So Venomoth is an idea. I don't know if that Volbeat is still obnoxious because I only saw it use Tail Glow before I killed it, but it's entirely possible. Tl;dr Bug still sounds like the mono-type from hell to me... makes me miss my Grass mono. I need to start that up again at some point.

It's not a side entrance anymore, it's one of the ones inside the library itself. Pretty sure it's the one on the right. You're unfortunately going to have a really hard time with Corey now that you've got to contend with the Corrosive Field rather than the Corrosive Mist one, though...
-
...Smiling Rini- I mean, Florinia? Shelly looking confident? Clearly I have stumbled into the Twilight Zone. The Christmas outfits are so adorable though. Blake and Cal in particular are looking very... err, festive. I might possibly be entirely too amused about Radomus' some odd 34905413 different costumes Although if you can still manage to look that good in mint green, you have earned my respect

Let's see: Pyroar- I would say Hyper Voice over Strength, but Careful nature... might just want to leave that be. Noble Roar is an odd choice for this late in the game but I guess debuffs can still come in handy. No better suggestion for the slot. Torterra- Wood Hammer over Razor Leaf. Otherwise, good. Floatzel- Ice Fang over Rock Smash and Crunch over Pursuit, I'd say. Arcanine- I'd take Thunder Fang over Retaliate... actually, I didn't know it got Retaliate. Emolga- Cut is no good- go with something else. I'll admit that I'm not sure what, though. I like Light Screen for team support, myself, but I don't know if you really care. Bronzong- Gyro Ball is likely a better idea than Heavy Slam. I don't really dig Heal Block either, but I can't see anything it gets via level up that I'd trade it for... Scrafty- Head Smash for the fourth? Not accounting for egg moves since I'm doubting you care to breed. Houndoom- I don't see the need for three Dark moves- swap either Beat Up or Foul Play for Thunder Fang, or you can swap another one for Nasty Plot as well, if you'd like. Sigilyph- I am really not comfortable giving you move suggestions for this thing seeing as how I've never used one... but I'd say Gravity is detrimental to it and you should pick something else. Claydol- No idea why Hyper Beam is there. A Psychic move instead? Psychic itself, I guess? Is it that obvious I haven't really used Claydol either Lileep/Cradily- From level up I would say: Energy Ball, Ancientpower, Stockpile/Amnesia and... something else? Confuse Ray? Ingrain, if you don't mind that locking you in? Vulpix/Ninetales- Flamethrower, Will-o-Wisp, Extrasensory and Hex is the set I run. Probably the best you'll get from level up, unless you'd like to swap Extrasensory/Hex for Nasty Plot. Venomoth- Psychic over Psybeam, but I figure you're probably doing that already. Gust is not all that great but I am hesitant to suggest Sleep Powder in its place because unreliable... Shinx/Luxio/Luxray- Wild Charge, Crunch, and two more moves... The elemental fangs are something Luxray could use all of by level up, geez. Baby Doll Eyes could be kinda fun in tandem with Intimidate, but that's probably just me. Oh yes, and I'd switch Rivalry out for that, by the way. Rivalry is really detrimental if you happen to get unlucky and fight the opposite gender often. Vaporeon- Pretty good. No suggestions here. I could suggest egg moves, but if you don't want to breed for anything, this is about the best advice I can offer.

You can read the labels on the PULSEs now. EPIC SPECULATION TIME!
Lost Lore replied to CURIE's topic in Reborn City
I noticed this as well, on my most recent playthrough. Also, PULSE Clawitzer was number 10- it says when Eclipse deactivates it. I don't think you can get up there to check Abra's, but I'll do so whenever I get far enough? If someone else doesn't do so first, that is. -
Wobbuffet is painful to train and requires prediction to use, which is likely why no one bothers to use it. As for Banette, I've seen a handful of people use it in Reborn, so I don't know what you're on about. uwu @Topic: I would go Thick Fat, if only because I think the only thing Hariyama gets that's boosted by Sheer Force is Force Palm. I'm probably wrong on that front, but hey. And the Klinklang is beatable before Rini- I did it on my latest playthrough. It requires a painful amount of planning and a lot of luck, though, so I wouldn't advise it. (If you're curious, my method involved a Lightningrod Plusle, a very sturdy Pachirisu and Leech Seed.)

You won't have access to it for a while, but after your seventh badge, look around in a place called Tanzan Mountain West. Bring Strength and Rock Smash. (Might want to do so after your eighth to be safe, but, it is technically there after your seventh... you just have to do a little story progression first. This is hard to explain without giving spoilers...)
-
Pretty sure you're missing Pokesnax- it won't appear if you don't have any. There aren't any other requirements that I know of.

Aya's Interview Intermission was... uh... E11, I think? So anytime after Radomus and before Luna. ...Wait, Adrienn's? So that was who it was for E13... gotta find a TV pronto in one of my mono-types. And that's why I offered an alternative to Repels, although it's not feasible with Aya considering how bulky that Dragalge is... Lose-lose situation either way, unless you happen to find another of the shiny you wanted later.
-
You'd reach that item via use of a green crystal, but I think the one in question requires Waterfall to get to. As a matter of fact, I think it's that one down to the south. So that item can't be obtained for right now.
-
I think Focus Bands are on Floor 8 of the Department Store now, but finding that Focus Sash is probably your best bet.
-
Y'all please. I don't want to relive pre-E11 Aya. Her laughing off Earthquakes is plenty.

Let's see, uh... Gen I starter: Charmander. Pretty sure it was my first one, too, although not entirely. Gen II starter: Totodile. I chose Cyndaquil first, and that was my first ever starter, incidentally, but I used Totodile once and discovered that it was entirely too awesome to pass up. Ironically I have both of them on my "main" team for G/S/C/HG/SS, and that is also the only team I have two starters on. Gen III starter: Treecko. Torchic was my first, and for a long time my favourite, but I got tired of using it. And Mudkip, much as I liek love the little guy... I always have such a hard time training it. I dunno why. Gen IV starter: Chimchar. Turtwig is the only one I haven't used actively... hey, I need to rectify that... Torterra is pretty awesome... Gen V starter: Oshawott. Gen VI starter: I don't own a 3DS. Chespin would be my choice, though- such a cutie. -Nickname all the things I intend on using, no matter how stupid the nicknames are. And even some of the things I don't. Sometimes. **That's probably why I don't use traded Pokemon, too, because I can't nickname them what I want to. The boosted experience doesn't help much either, because... -I like keeping my team evenly leveled. Meaning, if I have a team full of level 45-46s, then the 46s won't be used anymore until the level 45s are all level 46, too. **A recent exception to this rule is that my "signature" Pokemon (usually my starter, with some exceptions) is one level above the others. So if everyone else is level 46, then that "signature" is level 47. -I use HM slaves, but I detest that term. I wish there were a better one. Things like Surf and Fly I don't mind so much, but Rock Smash and Cut, for instance, are really, really terrible moves. I could easily use that moveslot for something better. **Amusingly, I'm seriously using Rock Smash on something for a recent Dark mono, but that's only because Liepard apparently can't dig holes to hit Steel-types. (No I don't know why.) -If I have control over IVs/EVs, I'll bother with them, but only to an extent. Otherwise, well, I can't really care. Natures are the same, although I'll at least try to get one that's not detrimental. -I like to plan out my team beforehand. Namely, I must always have a Fire-type, something that can learn Surf, and something that can learn Fly. That last one I very rarely do away with, if I don't feel like taking along a Flying-type that can benefit from Fly. I usually like having a Dark-type on board, too, which can't be surprising as it's my favourite type. **I don't typically use Grass or Ice-types, on the other end of the spectrum. For the former, I'll make an exception if my chosen starter is Grass-type, but the latter I rarely ever make exceptions for. -A mono-type run rule: I am required to catch every Pokemon of that type within a region's regional 'dex. **I don't really like bothering with the Pokedex, aside from that. I'll just catch what I intend to use. And maybe things I really like, for good measure, whether I intend to add them to my team or not. Old habits die hard~ ***I also prefer sticking to things that are from the region I'm playing, eg. not using anything but Gen IV Pokemon in Sinnoh, but sometimes I can't do that. I'm looking at you, Platinum. -I'll buy and use items as I please. I mean, that's why they're there. Why wouldn't I? **I don't really use the X items, though. Guard Spec. once in a blue moon, but otherwise, not really. I also don't use Ethers and such, but that's usually because you can't buy those, so I'm terrified of running out of them. -Shinies are nice, but not if they're neon green. GF pls -I pretty much duo-ran my first ever run of Sapphire with a Blaziken and a Breloom. Younger me could not get past Winona for the life of her because of this. (If I tried this again nowadays, something tells me I would curb-stomp her despite the type disadvantage.) -I've never done a nuzlocke run because I am too attached to my pixels and losing even one of them would literally murder me. Yes. I know I'm a dork okay. -I am still incredibly frustrated about Stunky not being able to learn Poison Jab. I need to make a list of learnset decisions that frustrate me, actually, because there are several of them. -I don't like using recoil moves. Flare Blitz is the only exception because it's badass. -I also don't like using moves with really low accuracy because my luck sucks and I am guaranteed to miss at the worst of moments. There are a few exceptions here too, but this is why I intend to forgo, for example, Stone Edge for Rock Slide. **One of those exceptions is the move Thunder, which I always like having on my team. I think it's mainly because its animation in Gen III has stuck with me for a really long time. -My favourite pseudo-legendary is Dragonite. It's also my favourite Dragon-type. And if it's available, I'll often use one as part of my team. Although I've never actually used it in a game where it could have Multiscale... though I really do want to, at some point. Oh, and I don't mind using a legendary on a team, but usually I go out of my way to avoid using more than one. My favourite is Raikou. That is a long ass post son

Hardest: Aya. Good lord it took me so many tries to beat her, and I'm pretty sure I only did because I got lucky. Noel and Luna gave me a hard time, too. Easiest: Serra, but only because I had Drought Ninetales. Charlotte was pretty easy too, but again, only because of Rain Dance. Funny how much of a difference weather makes.
