  1. Nero snorted, walking towards the bridge from his place at the back of the group. While it didn't seem like the most logical idea to walk across a rotting bridge, they didn't appear to have much choice. He paused for a second at the opening of the bridge, muttering under his breath. He waved his hand, and the gaps in the bridge were illuminated with light. He turned his head to face the group. "To make sure you can see them," he stated bluntly. "Illusion magic is my specialty, so this is no big deal. Let's just get this over with." With that, he turned his head back towards the bridge and began walking at an even pace, his black coat trailing behind him.
  2. No, you're supposed to be asleep. Just other people who haven't posted even though there's been action.
  3. We may have to. Unfortunately, that's a fairly large part of your group. (2 of the 4 PCs who aren't me.) I'll give PWB and rusty two days from this post, and if there's no response, I'll kill them off or have them run away or something. (Maybe Megaira can die while knocked out? I'm not really sure how to go about that...) Anyway, if it does come to that, I'll try to speed along the meeting of the groups as much as I can. Also, remember Es? Yeah, me neither.
  4. "Kozuto, if you don't mind me asking, what was life like among your group of the Vanda? I don't mean to offend you, but I know next to nothing about your people." He paused. "I... assume their must be some differences based on location, since your people are so... scattered." He looked back at the tent. "After all... you seem to have been raised very differently than Kho." He awaited the response, hoping he hadn't said anything to offend the shaman. His ignorance of their ways made him unsure of what was considered polite to ask, but at least with this, he could remedy some of that ignorance.
  5. Maybe Lars could be a sort of hit-and-run scout type. Warp in with Abra, deal some damage with the Nidoking he'll have, and warp out. (This actually sounds pretty fun, and kind of fitting for Lars... ) I always think it's best to take the realistic approach for RPs. It just works better in general. Also, I was actually thinking of giving Lars a Larvitar as his next Pokemon (If not Aron). Can I still do this or do you have some plan for it? I guess I really like the monster/behemoth Pokemon... Also, does anyone have any ideas for what other Pokemon might suit Lars if I don't go with one of those two?
  6. Flux closed his eyes and sighed, taking everything in. They weren't exactly in a good position. "Perhaps we should set up an ambush team?" he gestured at Raito. "Since we know where they are, we should be able to send a small group to incapacitate them before they have a chance to sound the alarm." He scanned the group. "We should probably make two groups. "Alina, Jon, and Miki can set up the ambush while Sarcus and I work on the password." He looked down at his lab coat. "Unless, of course, you want me to set up a distraction. I may be able to pass as one of their researchers. It would be risky, but offer a greater chance of success. Then again, Sarcus would be left alone here... Either way, we need to move quickly." He put his hands into his coat pockets, awaiting the group's opinions.
  7. Radomus actually used to be the psychic leader in the league, I believe. However, I think he quit and needed a replacement, hence Anna. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, this was before my time.
  8. "Lady Nivia! Master Blaze! Are you two alright?" ---------------------------------- Blaze looked up at the towering Pangoro. "Yeah... I'm fine, thanks to you." He paused. "...You're um... really big. Thanks for taking on that guy..." He fell back into a sitting position. The wind was making him nervous again. "We should probably get going too. I don't really feel comfortable staying here much longer..."
  9. Gillem sighed. It was no ordinary wound, just as he had thought. He was surprised that Kozuto knew so much about healing and demons in particular. Most considered them just legends these days. Then again, he knew next to nothing of the knowledge the Vanda had access to. "You know prayers?" Gillem asked him. He had thought that only priests and priestesses could heal through prayers. Truth be told, he was a little leary of having the Vanda attempt a prayer. He wasn't sure how much it differed from what he was used to. "If you could do something to ease the pain, it would be greatly appreciated. I can have Rhea try a prayer when we meet up in Sakiiri, if it's all the same to you."
  10. "You there, I suggest you do your teleporting with in the boundaries of the clearing, not out here past the treeline." Lars turned to see one of the guards patting his rifle. "You hear those gunshots earlier? Well some of us on patrol here haven't exactly had a "good" day so far, and are looking to blow of some steam by letting out some lead. In other words, they're a bit trigger happy right now, and You're damn lucky that you appeared next to me of all people, because they would've shot you as soon as they saw that light." He pointed back away from the woods and towards the clearing. "Now get." ---------------------------------------------------- Lars held up his hands defensively. "Hey now, easy. I didn't exactly plan on this happening." He turned to the direction the man had pointed. "I'll just be going now..." There was a spring in his step as scooped up Sleepy in one arm and walked back to the training area. "It can teleport! Even better, it can teleport other people with it! I knew it had some useful move!" Lars looked down at the Abra with a wide grin on his face. It was back to sleeping, calm as ever.
  11. Reminds me of Peter or Sylar from "Heroes"... More like Sylar due to the villain part, but the ability more closely resembles Peter's.
  12. There are quite a few signs that point to Radomus being an antagonist, but I love his character so much that I hold some irrational hope that he's actually a protagonist.
  13. Will we ever see in-game Ame again?

    1. diana

      diana

      she's secretly dead

    2. Simon
    3. Magus

      Magus

nope, I think Ame is like "You know I made the game, but it's your story, not mine."

  14. "Um... do... something?" Lars called out, unsure of what to do next. He honestly had no idea what this creature could do, but he doubted that barrier move could deflect a stampeding horse. The Abra just sat where it was, completely undisturbed by its impending doom. Lars couldn't just watch the tiny little guy get plowed over. Besides, he owed it to Sleepy. It'd saved his life after all. Lars ran onto to field, covering the Abra with his body, hoping to at least protect it. He could feel the same conciousness as before enter his mind, as well as a mix of alien emotions. "Ab...ra?" Right as the sound of hoofbeats approached, Sleepy began to glow a bright-white, and the light spread to Lars as well. Sleepy's shape began to distort, and Lars braced himself for the pain of impact. It never came. Lars openend his eyes and looked around. He and Sleepy were in the middle of the forest, presumably somewhere nearby since he could hear the voices of the other trainers. "Did we just... teleport...?" Lars began, his mouth hanging open. He stared at the Abra for a long while before shouting, "THAT'S AWESOME!!!!!"
  15. Gillem sighed as Olrien finished. "I suppose I must respectfully agree to disagree. While I do agree that battle by the sword is an ugly thing, I would like to see a day when people take up the sword as a hobby, not to take the lives of others." He turned as Koz came to sit next to them. "All finished then?" he asked. "That's just as well then. I have something I had been meaning to have you take a look at. You said you know a little about helaing, right?" Gillem lifted up the linen shirt he was wearing, showing the mangled flesh beneath. The skin was burnt and blistered, the tissue was mangled, and the entire area was still covered in dried blood. "I don't suppose you've seen anything like this before, have you? You weren't there when I explained, but this is the work of what I believe to be a demon. I fear they may be returning to the land, and that they have something to do with the drain of the world's mana. That's why I started this journey." He went on to explain the wound. "The demon spit some kind of acid at me. The stuff burnt right through me, and the wound doesn't seem to be healing like normal. I'm honestly doubtful that there's anything you can do, but I wanted to at leat give it a shot."
  16. Sorry if I came off as harsh, but it's just something to watch for. I don't really like to be the guy to correct people because I always come off sounding rude...
  17. K_H, I don't know if I'm entirely comfortable with a certain part of your RP style. You seem to be sort of half-bunnying quite often. While you aren't necessarily taking control of the characters directly, encountering them in placing where they haven't been stated to be as of yet can annoy some people. Just be very careful when posting about another person's character. Basically, if they haven't directly stated something, don't assume it. I personally would say the same about making another person's Pokemon faint, but I'm not sure how others feel about that specifically.
  18. Hydreigon can fly tho? Oh, you probably meant as far as types. On a different note, are minor Egg moves allowed? I had my Abra use Barrier, but if this isn't ok, I can edit it. Edit: Is that a rathalos head I see?
  19. "Alright Sleepy, do something psychic-ish and send those embers back if you can!" Lars watched anxiously as the embers shot towards Sleepy. He honestly wasn't sure if Sleepy could do anything to defend himself. He didn't appear to have even heard the command. However, right before the embers reached its body, the Abra's eyes began to glow, and the embers were pushed to the side, as if an invisible barrier had stopped them. Lars grinned. "Yeah! I knew you could do something! Now respond with an attack of your own!" The Abra made no effort to do anything. Lars frowned. "You do have... at least one attack, right...?" The Abra was motionless, sitting in the grass with its eyes closed, as usual. "Don't tell me you went to sleep again..." Lars moaned.
  20. Lars smiled nervously at the large horse. Sampson, he had called it. "He sure is a big one... I don't know if either of mine can handle that, but I'd better at least try." He took out both capsules and released his GAOs. Sleepy sat on the ground, eyes still closed, breathing slowly. When Nidoran came out, he looked around before turning his back to Lars. "Oh come on, you aren't still mad about the name, are you? I can try to come up with a better one..." The Nidoran gave no response. Lars sighed. "All right Sleepy, I guess you're up. I don't even know if you're awake or not..." Sleepy didn't move. Lars picked up the Abra and placed the it a few feet in front of him. "I don't really want to have him get hurt, but I need to figure out exactly what he's capable of. Besides, we agreed to try not to cause too much harm." He thought back to the event with Clemont. "He's shown that he has telepathy, so I suppose he must have some sort of psychic powers..." Lars looked at the creatures frail body. "You don't exactly look like you can take a hit though, do you..." he muttered. "Still, mind over matter, right?" He turned to Jory. "All right, I guess I'm as ready as I'll ever be..."
  21. Nero turned to face the dwarf. He met his glowing orange eyes, searching for the source of this man's hope. Why did he continue to believe things could get better? His world had just fallen apart, yet he continued to press on. After a short while, Nero gave a light chuckle. "Odin, my entire world has been engulfed in darkness since the time I was a child." He paused, and then slowly placed the vial of ashes back into his coat pocket. "However... You carry the flame of hope within you, lighting the way in this darkened world. I will travel with you at least until Nevermore. I will decide the rest of my path once I know what it is we're meant to find there."
  22. "I can't stop you from leaving Nero, but at least give me back that vial of my son's ashes before you go." Odin said as he noticed the man start to walk off. "I don't want you to have a token that would burden you if you were to leave us, it wouldn't be fair to you. But I think you should come with us. Your skills would be invaluable on this quest, and I am sure you have to get back at The Gentleman as well. I don't think you want to let that Godless Monster win do you?" ----------------------------------------------- Nero paused in his tracks, retrieving the vial of ashes from his coat. He had forgotten about it, being more concerned with retrieving his sword. He looked down at the vial, thinking of what Odin had said. He gave a short, harsh laugh and began to speak, his back still turned to Odin. "And just what is this 'quest'?" he sneered. "What are we supposed to do? Chase down his tracks and repeat the same fruitless struggle?" He shook his head, giving a slow, melancholy chuckle. "No. There's no hope in this battle. Not the way we are now."
  23. Lars sat in the grass, watching the battles. After Keaton and Lionel's match, his head seemed to have finally cleared, so he stood up again. He walked over to the group, noticing that Jory still hadn't gotten a battle. "Hey Jory!" he called. "You still up for a match?"
  24. "Flux, you mind coming over here? I might need help." ------------------------------------ Flux lifted himself out of the hole, giving a light chuckle as he stood up. "Ah, how I miss the vigor of youth." He moved next to Sarcus, taking note of the PC. He frowned. "Hopefully we can connect to the cameras from here..." he muttered. "I'll let you get started while I prepare our 'processing power'." He removed his PokeGear and turned it on, flipping out a USB drive on the side. He gave it a regretful look as he prepared it for the work ahead.
