  1. Yussss! Another Muk lover! Now we just have to spread the influence... #MukLove
  2. I feel like Smash Bros. kind of "saved" the Wii U. It brought some hype over to the system at least. Not enough Monster Hunter 3U love. Also, hurray for another Dissidia player! The easy winner for me would have to be Shadow of the Colossus. It's my favorite game in general, and it's not on a Nintendo system anyway, so it's no-contest. GREAT soundtrack Epic battles that actually make you think outside the box. Great way of telling a story (in my opinion). You have to piece it together from the few cutscenes and what little dialogue they give you. Beautiful world, especially for a Playstation 2 game. It could easily pass for an early PS3 game. On top of the beauty, it's completely SEAMLESS. No loading screens. <3
  3. I've been coming back to this thread for a few days and trying to think of something to describe myself... and it's not happening. I'm just curious, does anyone feel like they know me enough to suggest something? It might not necessarily be correct, since I feel like I might act a bit differently around here than I do in real life, but I suppose it's still me in the end. Some things are just hard to convey through text.
  4. TIL that I still can't do complex optimization problems. It was the only thing on the calc test that I couldn't do, while also being the only thing I actually tried to study.
  5. What is "Community Support?" I just realized I'm in the credits of the Reborn game for that...

I believe all active beta testers are listed in the credits, though it is outdated. Though older members are still included, as well as duplicates (such as McMc and Jericho).

I'm wondering if anything general under development could also be placed in Community Support, such as editing move/pokedex descriptions that were too long.

^That might be it. I've never done any beta testing, but I helped in some other sections of development like resizing the 6th Gen sprites and creating some item sprites.

  6. It's only a matter of time before another Flux comes along... And I will eat them. Anyway, welcome to Reborn Zeph2! Hope you enjoy your stay and stick around! Also, I have to ask, is that avatar something you drew? Because then you really are Zeph2.
  7. I've actually been tossing an idea like this around for a while now. I was thinking more along an actual serious plotline, something like the characters get summoned from other "universes" (or something like that) to help against some major threat. I haven't really fleshed it out much yet, since I wouldn't have time to host it myself along with the other project I'm working on, but maybe I could post something up or get a group chat together if people are interested. As I said, I couldn't host it, so somebody else would have to step up, but I could help decide on how serious we want it to be and some sort of plot.
  8. Hukuna Ms. Archer smiled. "All very accurate assumptions based on what we've been able to discover of the group. Tell me, based on what you know, what do you think Utopia was after at the dinner party?" She clasped her hands, awaiting his answer. Her facial expression said that she knew more than she was letting on, but clearly wasn't about to reveal it. typhlosionrulez, Snap Crackle Pop, King Murdoc, K_H How would you feel about joining the Organization?" There was a long stretch of silence before Beetle spoke up. He looked back at the others, who gave no hint as to any opinion they might have. "I-I think we're all right for now, but thank you for the offer, really. Perhaps we could talk it over among ourselves for a while?" Cedric nodded. "Of course. Here..." He reached into a pocket of his jean jacket, pulling out what looked like a business card. "Call this number if you change your mind. You're always welcome with us." He turned to Blue, nodding. "All right Ace, Kenny. Let's go home." Stratos, Jory, rustytengo There was a flash of blue light in the office as Blue returned with Cedric, Ace, and Kenny in tow. As soon as they were back in the room, Blue disappeared again in another flash of light. Anver was able to get his first glimpse of the man known as Cedric Sterling, though perhaps he didn't really know who he was yet. He had black hair that hung down to his lower neck in the back and long bangs that ran down the side of his face, stopping just above his chin. His beard was well-trimmed, hugging his jaw on the bottom and looping over his upper lip. He wore a short jean jacket that stopped at the bottom of his ribs, with a white shirt underneath. He wore blue jeans beneath that, with black dress shoes completing the image. It was all very casual for somebody in his position. He smiled as he saw Lux and Beverly, returned safely from their mission. "Ah, I see you made it back. Good, good... Did everything go all right?" He turned his gaze, as if noticing Anver for the first time. "And who is this?"
  9. So... Snap said she'd get around to posting a few days ago, but I guess something must have come up? I guess I'll just go back to my original plan and bunny the group for now, so that Strat's group can get to talking to Cedric...
  10. Phantom lowered his sword as the fight between Kenny and Ixidor began. They were both moving quickly, leaving no room for a strike from his sword without running the risk of hitting Edward. He turned from the battle, sheathing his sword and holding out his left hand. He walked forward, a portal slowly materializing in front of him. He glanced back one last time before stepping through the portal, leaving Edward to deal with Kenny on his own.
  11. Lars nodded. He felt bad for the poor thing, whatever had happened to it. He could always sympathize with animals; it was one of the reasons he could never be a hunter before the outbreak of the virus. Animals lived by instinct; there was very little influence towards good or evil in a wild animal. They just wanted to survive, and that was what made them so easy for Lars to understand. People were another story... As he watched and waited on Logan's healing process, Lars took a glance towards Sleepy curled in his arms, wondering if he could somehow get the little guy to teleport them back. There didn't seem to be much chance of that though... the little guy was out like a light, sleeping once more. Lars knew how hopeless it was to try and wake a sleeping Abra. He sighed. It seemed they'd have to hoof it.
  12. Well, I haven't played too many of the main games, (Only X and VII) but I have played a few spin-offs, such as Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus, Dissidia and Dissidia Duodecim, and Theatrhythm/Curtain Call. Beyond that, I've watched my siblings play portions of IV, V, VI, VIII, IX, XII, and XIII. Overall, I can say that X is definitely my favorite. The characters are all great, the areas are very pleasing aesthetically, and the story is absolutely amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed VII, and while some may say that it does not live up to its hype, I'd personally argue that it does. It's story is great and the characters are some of my favorites. I enjoyed it enough to play through Crisis Core (Which is even better than VII imo) and Dirge of Cerberus, and I also had to watch Advent Children after playing through VII. The graphics are old, but really, who cares about them? The story's what you're after in a Final Fantasy game. From what I've played, I'd have to rank my Final Fantasy games like this: 1. FFX 2. Crisis Core 3. FFVII 4. Dissidia/Dissidia: Duodecim (Much better for replay value, but the others have a better story.) 5. FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus 6. Theatrhythm/Curtain Call (No real story, but a great game if you enjoy the music of Final Fantasy.) And my top 5 favorite characters: 1. Jecht 2. Vincent 3. Gabranth 4. Tidus (Feel like I'm the only one who likes this guy) 5.Zack And as a final note, I'm really excited for FFXV. It's the first Final Fantasy game in the main series that I've actually wanted to play in a long time. The problem is, I don't have a next gen console.
  13. AoT's soundtrack... is a masterpiece.

    1. Arkhi

      Arkhi

Everyday Life, Counter-Attack Mankind, Vogel im Kafig...

      They're all brilliant.

    2. Flux

      Flux

There literally isn't a single track I don't like. Granted, some are less amazing than most, but none are anything but good. It makes it tough to decide on a favorite track.

    3. Commander

      Commander

The funny thing is, the person behind the AoT soundtrack is writing music for Xenoblade X.

  14. Nero stepped through the treeline, a hand on the hilt of his sword as he glanced at the scene. A group of people were kneeling around something, while the rest were carrying an older man. Whatever trouble had been here earlier appeared to be gone now. He let the hand on his sword drop, trying to catch a glimpse of what everyone was focused on. It was... Marcus. Nero turned his gaze. The man was cut open and his insides were spilled on the ground. There would be no saving him. Nero stepped back towards the treeline. Rather than grieving the Templar's death as the others seemed to be, Nero could only wonder why he had even bothered coming. He hadn't arrived in time to be of any use in whatever battle had occurred, and he wasn't the type to console the dying. He'd seen enough death in his life... and this was nothing compared to what he had lost. When he reached the treeline of the clearing, he simply leaned back against a tree and waited for the Fire Templar to die.
  15. Nero shook Xavier off. The elf ran off towards the others, but Nero still stood in place. "Another one tearing off after the others..." he thought. "Why...?" He thought about the Cinder knight's words. "Come on, man, we haven't got time for you to get all philosophical! We can't just leave Helzebeth out there!" So the elf could read Nero's doubts... Were they that evident? He struggled with his thoughts for an instant more before tearing himself from his place at the tree. "Blast it all..." he muttered, walking at a brisk pace. "Blast it all! I'll go, but there's no logic or reason behind this!" He sped up to a jog as he followed the elf, making his way for the others.
  16. That might just do the trick. Also, OH GOSH THE TYPOS IN MY LAST POST ARE INSANE!!! I think I fixed them all now...
  17. I'M ALWAYS LATE FOR THESE. Happy belated birthday Hukuna! Sorry I'm late!
  18. ...Aaaaand a barrage of questions from Nero directed towards himself. I wanted to characterize him a bit more, and I thought this could be a good opportunity for some development.
  19. Nero stood in place at the tree as some of the others ran past. He was unmoving, eyes closed and arms crossed. So Helzebeth was in trouble. What did that matter to him? What did any of them matter? Why should he endanger his own life for the sake of somebody he barely knew? The others had rushed by instantly, but what drove them to do so? He was a man of logic, and he saw no logic in charging into a fight blindly. They had no idea what they were up against, yet they still rushed to help her. He had seen humans do such things many times in his travels, but he never knew why. Humans were creatures of strange habits. Why do they fight for each other? He couldn't help but wonder... But despite his reserves, he couldn't help but wonder why he wasn't moving. If this was some human habit, why was he different? Why was he unable to rush in to help like the others? What separated him from the rest? He couldn't care less about his own life in this world, yet he had used the preservation of his own life as his reasoning not to help. Why was he so reserved about this? Could he not be the same as the others? Was he truly human if he couldn't feel the same emotions as the rest?
  20. Well, I had no internet on the day of his account birthday, so I'll say it now. Happy Birthday(?) Ark! You youngin'... Here, have this:
