"Waste of a good muffin though." Garen gave a light chuckle. He couldn't tell if it was supposed to be a joke or not, but it was comical either way. He turned to Vixen again, his face becoming more serious. "I wonder what Bane was talking about..." he muttered. "You heard what the mimics said. 'You're not killing any of my men, Quiet.'" He sighed. "I don't know about you, but I find it kind of hard to trust Quiet after hearing that. He's not really all that likeable to begin with, from what I've seen of him..."

Under The Hill [OOC/Sign-Ups]
Flux replied to Notus's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Well, right now, Phantom is under the impression that Ethic and Mr. Taylor were chasing Reil, so we'll see how that works out... He traveled with Mr. Taylor for a time two circles ago, and he's seen Ethic in previous circles as well, so he thinks they're good people, but he's just confused. After that, who knows?- 1735 replies

Under the Hill - Fourth Circle: Greed [IC]
Flux replied to Notus's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Phantom glanced around the area as he exited the portal, finding himself between Reil, the man from the first floor, and some other young man. He had been sure it was Mr. Taylor's presence he had felt, though perhaps he had been mistaken... This was definitely not the old man he remembered. "Oh hey there! Maybe you can help me with something.. er.. Phantom was it?." He turned to face Reil. So he was being chased by these two. He wondered why. "Yes..." he began, drawing his sword from its sheath and leveling it towards the other two. "I...help..."- 303 replies

Snap hasn't been online in about 6 or 7 days, and I'm not sure if Murdoc is continuing or not, so I'll just bunny that group for now so Cedric can get to speaking with Anver. -
Garen removed his hand from the hilt of his hunting knife. He almost laughed upon finding his hand there. He had instinctively reached for his knife despite having two pistols at his sides. He looked to Vixen. "Do you think Commander Stone actually has some sort of communication equipment attached to this thing? I wonder if he can hear us. It seems more likely to me that it's just mimicking him, as the earlier creatures had done to us." That brought to mind the voices that sounded like Bane's. They sounded like more pieces of the conversation he had overheard, but there was still a good chance that they weren't. Who could know how long these things had been picking up lines from camp?

Well, that was unexpected. So long, Fria... So Candice would be in her 30s now... It's strange to think of all these NPCs being so much older than they are in the games. It puts a nice perspective onto the world.

Pokémon: Aftermath #3a - In the Thin Ice [IC]
Flux replied to Notus's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Flux stood silently as Fria revealed herself to in fact be Candice, the city's leader herself. He hadn't expected this, and he was already inwardly kicking himself for not being more observant. It explained how she was able to escape from the acolytes so easily, as well as how she had gotten them into the city. It seemed that most of the group trusted her despite this fact, but Flux remained cautious. Despite his earlier friendliness towards Fria, this was Candice, the Gym Leader of Snowpoint and likely the head of its conclave as well. It was not safe to assume that she was their ally simply because she led them into the city. It would be an open area for battle here, and they would be vastly outnumbered. He stood silently, waiting to see what Candice had to say for herself.- 478 replies

The Awakened - First Pillar (IC Thread)
Flux replied to Flux's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Hukuna Lydia Archer nodded, as Viktor told his tale. It matched the other stories she had heard. When he had finished, she spoke. "Yes, there is something else I wanted to ask you. Just a curiosity." She looked him in the eye. "Why do you think Utopia acts the way they do? Why were they formed? What are they after? Furthermore, why would they attack a dinner party for seemingly no purpose?" ----------------------------------------------------- Arkhidon After a few minutes passed, a white limousine pulled up. It was the same car they had arrived in with the same driver. Apparently, Hades had set up a time in advance for them to be picked up. ...However, only one of them was here for the departure. The driver asked no questions, simply opening the door for Keaton to enter. -

This would be correct. -
Nero stood leaning against a tree, a short distance from the others. His eyes were closed and his arms crossed as he listened in. So that was a Steam Caster. It was powerful homing magic, able to sense him through invisibility and even able to guide itself around the tree to hit him. He would have to look into that someday, to find out exactly how they worked. For now, he would simply wait until the group was moving again.

Under the Hill - Fourth Circle: Greed [IC]
Flux replied to Notus's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Phantom stopped in the other dimension as he rounded a corner. There were three presences that he could sense here, though one of them appeared to be fleeing. He could recognize them all. The fleeing presence was the boy who had been with The bank robbers earlier, while the other two were the man he had helped in the first circle, and Mr. Taylor, who Phantom had traveled with for a time until being left behind. He supposed he had made a deal with the robbers and that he should try to prevent the other two from hurting him. It was strange. They hadn't struck him as particularly violent people like some of the others, but the boy, Reil, was running from them. He extended a hand, opening a portal between the two men and Reil as he stepped back into the real world.- 303 replies

The Awakened - First Pillar (IC Thread)
Flux replied to Flux's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Arkhidon The first three shots hit the man in non-vital areas: The first two hit his arm and the third hit his side. The fourth, shot however, was a direct hit to the chest. The man staggered backwards, smoke rising from a deep gash burned into his torso. As he stumbled backwards, his features slowly changed into that of Hades, hunched over. The other "Hades" laughed as his own features changed back into the leader of the gang. He rushed towards Hades, placing his right hand on Hades' head as the explosion occurred once again. When the smoke cleared, Hades was lying on the ground, motionless, blood pooling from the mangled mess where his head used to be. The other man was nowhere to be seen. -

{Flux, Drake, and Fria} Flux smiled as Fria appeared on the treeline. "You know, that was quite rude of you, disappearing on me like that," he said with a grin. "Nevertheless, I am glad to see you unharmed. Lead the way, snow guide." He didn't show it, but he had been worried about her. Even with her experience, the odds were against her, but once again, she had surprised him. She really was something.- 478 replies

Done and done. Thank you for your contribution. *Bows humbly* We should sometime. I posted in the thread way back when, but I always forget to check it for tournaments and such. I'll add your FC sometime, though I'm a bit rusty at Smash 4 right now. Played too much Melee recently. Hello Zephy! My About Me page is going to be pretty sad at this rate... Only two lines. Still, it's better than it was before.

Thank you, Jerry. You're always there for us new guys. So this is my song from Ark. I like it. hello jelly i am sorry for jilling your poo. I consider you to be my awkward buddy even if you do not. That is what makes us awkward after all.

So I finally made an intro thread. Hop on over if you want, I'm allowing everyone to add a line to my "About Me" section of my profile page, since I never know what to say there otherwise. http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=11442#entry248405

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. As you all have never noticed, I have yet to create an intro thread, despite being here for over a year. It's generally a thing I forget to do on websites, but I figured I've been here long enough that I should do it. And since I know you're thinking, "Ugh, it's just another troll post by somebody who isn't really new," I've decided to put a little twist on this in honor of Christmas jk that's just a convenient excuse. In addition to telling you a little about myself, I'm going to allow anybody who replies here to add a line to what will become my profile. It can be humorous, true, ridiculous, whatever, and I will put it on there, as long as it's appropriate and follows the site rules. So anyway, I'm currently a senior in high school. I'm turning eighteen on December 30, and I enjoy a variety of things, such as soccer, playing piano, drums, videogames, reading, and through this site, I discovered forum RPs, which I've taken a liking to. I'd never done any sort of Roleplaying before that, so this is a shout out to those who got me started, notably Acquiescence, who created the RP that became the first I ever joined. And for dealing with my antics as a newb. As I said, I enjoy videogames, some of which are multiplayer, so feel free to hit me up sometime. My favorites are Smite, Super Smash Bros. (Preferably Melee, but I play them all), Shadow of the Colossus, the Attack on Titan Tribute Game, and I'm working on getting into League. I always say that but I never do. U-um, th-that's all I can think of now, but feel free to a-ask if you want to know something... >.> Oh wait, acting cute only works for females... Remember to get your free line in my profile. It'll probably stay like that for a long time when this is finished...

Just finished Dusk by Tim Lebbon. It's an adult dark fantasy and I'd highly recommend it. It takes place in a dystopian world in which magic has disappeared due to the events of the Cataclysmic War. I won't spoil too much, but the premise is that magic is returning and it needs to be kept safe from those who would steal it and those who would destroy it until it is ready to be released into the world. The author doesn't hold back at all in his narrative. Things don't go as you'd expect in a classic tale... I'll be reading the sequel, Dawn, whenever it gets here in the mail.
