Yeah... I might have stretched my boundaries a bit too far. I think I'm in six right now while also hosting one...

Yeah, I can understand that. I'd be in the same boat if Flux wasn't off on his own (PC wise). It's basically slowed to the pace of Notus and myself for me, which is fine, but once we reunite with the group I'll probably be left behind again.

I think it will slow down eventually. That's how it generally is with people's first RPs and/or new RPs, and this kind of fits into both since it was revived. At first they post a lot, before the novelty wears off and it slows to a more reasonable rate. (Not complaining or anything, it's just something I've noticed. Feel free to post whenever you feel it necessary.) That's what's happened with most RPs I'm in at least.

"Eh-hey, no need for this much gratefullness! It's only our job, really!" Flux couldn't help but chuckle at the sight of the Abomasnow hugging Fria. He stood slowly, the grin still on his face. He was glad that things had worked out with the Abomasnow. There was nothing he hated more than hurting Pokemon, but sometimes it was necessary, like it had been with the acolytes back in the covert ops. Still, despite the happiness that was taking place here, he couldn't help but wonder what was going on with the rest of the crew. Fria had suggested that the tracks belonged to acolytes. He trusted that the others could handle themselves, but things would be tricky in a blizzard.

Nero froze as he saw the bullet headed for him. Homing magic? It had detected him depsite his invisibility... He quickly ran behind the tree that the gnoll had fallen out of, bracing his sword in a defensive measure in case the magic was strong enough to break through. He didn't carry a shield, and he had no combat magic powerful enough to counteract this attack, so a block with his sword was the only option if the large tree wasn't enough.

...The finale of this chapter approaches. This was basically just a set-up chapter, to get allegiances and such sorted out. The next will be much more action-oriented, though there will still be parts centered on communication.

Kenny, Snap Crackle Pop, King Murdoc Beetle was noticeably more at ease when Kenny stated that he'd return Rebecca. He nodded as Kenny spoke of the urge to see the Pillar. He had the same feeling, and it had been the secret dream of their little crew to make it there some day. "However, I have a question to ask you: do you know who that religious nut back there was? He seemed to be completely off his rocker, judging by the religious gospel he was dithering on about, and he was also after Rebecca. I doubt it, due to the fact that he mentioned a group known as Utopia, while I haven't heard what you guys call your group." Beetle frowned, shaking his head. I hadn't heard of this "Utopia" before today. He turned to the others. "What about you Alice? Alan? Eugene? Do you know anything about them?" Eugene shook his head, looking a bit shaken as he stared at the ground. Do you happen to know any group named 'Utopia'? Cause there's this zealot at the prison, preaching some gospel and stuff and he was also looking for the girl." "...Utopia," was Cedric's response. "Yes, I know of them. I mentioned a bit about them before you left for this mission, but I didn't go into detail. Honestly, I didn't expect you to meet them so soon..." He was silent for a moment. "...I suppose I'll need to explain what I do know to all of you when you return." --------------------------------------------------------- Jory, rustytengo, Stratos "The gang's all here, Blue. Take us home." Blue nodded. "Of course." There was a bright flash of light as the group was warped away. They found themselves back in Cedric's office, a familiar sight to all but Anver. The curtains were drawn over the glass wall in the back, so the view of the city was hidden. Cedric and Blue were already gone, leaving the trio alone in the room. ------------------------------------------------------------- Hukuna Zeus stood from where he had fallen, a hand covering the gash in his shoulder. He could feel the warmth of his blood oozing from the cut as the laughter of their unseen foe sounded around him. He still could see nothing, though he had a plan to fix that. He turned to Poseidon's general direction. "Poseidon, let's light this place up!" he called out. He had enough trust in his partner's intelligence to know that he would understand what to do. He gave Poseidon a few seconds, closing his eyes and preparing himself for the task ahead. There was a crackle of electricity from his hand, and he reached out, feeling the moisture of the raindrops. He allowed the electricity to pass into it, linking once again from raindrop to raindrop, but this time he didn't not allow it to leave the previous raindrop. Within seconds, the raindrops all around the estate became glowing orbs of electricity, mini lightbulbs in themselves. What was more surprising though, was that the drops were not moving. The rain itself was frozen in midair, thanks to the efforts of Poseidon. The field was lit with these unmoving, floating orbs of light, and a dull glow slowly spread across, giving light once more in the darkness. The citizens had all fled the immediate area in the darkness, and some could be seen huddling in the distance. Zeus made sure to keep the electricity away from those people, as well as Viktor, so they would not hurt themselves. He cracked a smile through the effort it was taking to create and hold this much electricity, a task that took incredible power and mastery of his ability. Their target was visible, a look of mixed awe and fear upon his face. He was little older than a teenager, dressed in black and scrambling across the ground as he frantically avoided the electricity passing through the rain. It was easy to confirm that he was responsible thanks to the bloody knife he held. Zeus turned to Viktor, and Poseidon looked his way as well. Both of them had veins visible in their forehead and hands as they struggled through their immense tasks. Poseidon, freezing an entire downpour's worth of rain in place, and Zeus passing electricity through it all. "Ares..." Zeus started, obviously struggling to speak from the effort. "Finish... this guy. He's... visible... now..."

"Oh-oh dear professor. That's too much footprints. I think we might have acolytes on our trail now..." Flux was calm as ever, more worried about the title than the situation. "Oh please, just call me Flux." He stopped as he heard a thumping coming from the woods. Three Abomasnow were headed their way. "Well, I don't know about acolytes, but we've got a bit of a 'bigger' issue," he said, motioning towards the ice pokemon. "I don't know what would have drawn them out here..." he muttered. "They normally don't leave the forest except when..." A thoughtful expression came across his face as he looked around, but it slowly turned into a frown. "Damn. I was hoping to find some snow flowers, but they don't appear to be in season right now. Abomasnow love them, and it may have been enough to show that we mean no harm. Still, I'd like to attempt to solve this peacefully without this becoming a battle..." He returned Ogre's heavy ball to the inside of his coat, so that the Abomasnow would not be frightened by it, but it was still close by if worse came to worse. He slowly approached the trio, looking back to give Fria a wink as he did so. He'd spent his entire life surrounded by Pokemon, studying them, so he hoped that he could calm these Abomasnow from whatever had drawn them out here. "Easy now, easy now..." he cooed, putting his hands forward in a gesture to show that he meant know harm. He kept about 20 yards of distance between himself and the Abomasnow as he sat down in the snow, cross-legged. He looked up at the creatures, giving them a smile. "Now now, what's got you all spooked all of the sudden? I assure you that we mean know harm. You wouldn't want to hurt a beautiful lady like her, now would you?" he asked them, motioning behind him at Fria.

Lars laughed nervously. "Well, um... I think... I think Sleepy must have panicked and warped us out of there..." The Abra was now still in his arms, its chest moving up and down slowly, asleep once more. He looked around. They were in sewers of some sort. The water was surprisingly pure down here, bringing to mind what Surge had said earlier. "Say, do you think these could be the sewer systems Surge was talking about? The ones he said we need to establish a base in?"

Nero walked toward the gnoll where it stood confused and disoriented, and in a quick motion, he swung his sword at the creature's throat, taking advantage of the situation. He had seen the battle happening near Blue, and the Victonari seemed to be the real foe here. Nero would have a slight advantage with his invisibility -- perhaps he could get in a sneak attack to finish it before things got too out of hand.

Nero stepped out from the treeline, his invisibility spell completed. He walked slowly across the battlefield, taking his time, keeping a watchful vigil all around him, despite his invisibility. He drew his sword, letting it hang from his arm as he walked. He took a look around, trying to find the most efficient chink in the enemy formation to strike. He stopped for a second as he heard the echoing sound of a voice amplified by Illusion. It was a simple spell, and it seemed that one of the gnolls was using it purely for effect. "Wasteful" was all Nero could think of the matter. He turned his gaze to the treeline, picking out a gnoll that had left itself all too visible. He closed his eyes, whispering imperceptibly as he cast his spell. He was messing with the gnoll's vision, altering it so that the gnoll would see itself tilting, when in reality it was still straight. While trying to "right" itself, it would likely fall out of the tree, where Nero could finish it.

Does this mean staryu/mie reproduce by fragmentation?

Just use the print screen button on the keyboard (Should be labeled something like "prt sc") and then paste into something like Gimp, Photoshop, or even MS Paint. Crop if you deem it necessary, upload to an image hosting site, use the url they give you to post it here, and you're done.

Pretty sure a lot of them just made a folder via Windows, took a screenshot and cropped it. At least, that's what I did and it looks similar. And I believe this is all of mine:

Is it bad if when he said, "they killed my Rathalos" I honestly pictured a Rathalos for a while before realizing that it was just a name?

Ah, ok. It was kind of a rushed post before I left earlier, so I may have been a bit unclear, but the gist of it is that he's invisible and behind the gnoll that's attacking Oarloff. He attempted an illusion of a scorpion on the gnoll that's attacking Dru, though that's pretty much pointless since Dru just blinded it. And he's now attacking the gnoll by Oarloff from behind with his sword. I can go back and edit things to be more clear if need be, sorry about that.

Did Nero's hit land, or are you just waiting for later to update on that? I wasn't sure if you missed it or not.

As the deafening noise sounded around them, Clemeont's voice echoed in Lars' mind. "Run!" Before he could even react, Sleepy struggled in his arms, panicking from both the noise and the message that he had apparently heard as well. "Hey, Sleep-" Lars started, but before he could finish, both he and Logan disappeared in a flash of light. (((I'm thinking I'll let Stratos decide where we end up, since it's a random teleport due to panic and he knows more about the layout of the place.)))

^ I feel like Garen is indeed a likely candidate for that. Perhaps Big as well, from what little I know of the others so far.
