    Yep yep. I had similar thoughts about the cabin, but I've been waiting to see what Notus has to say. I still have to catch up on the IC now, so I don't for sure know what else you're talking about, but anyway, this is a valid point. There's a lot of new RPers here, so you kind of have to expect this stuff and deal with it as it comes. They'll get it down with experience.

    Gaaah, why can't League play like Smite? I love League's characters (<3 Kog'Maw), but Smite's gameplay is just so much more enjoyable to me. No auto-attack, and aiming abilities is a lot trickier, plus the camera follows right behind your character for that third person view. It just feels like you have more control...

      Mhm, especially if you're trying to ADC. I never really enjoyed Vayne, but I just can't stop playing Anhur in SMITE.

    Yes, to an extent. It would depend on how much he really knows how to use his own ability. Sensing people would be fairly easy, but discerning a table from a bench might be trickier. With thermal goggles, he could clearly distinguish the two as he could physically see the shape of the heat, but recreating that "vision" with his mind might take practice.

    It would depend on the type of goggles. Thermal night vision would work, as it detects heat rather than reflection of light, though most other types would not, simply because of how they work. Most night vision goggles amplify imperceptible amounts of light to the point where we can see them clearly. In this darkness, there is literally no light at all, other than what small amounts characters like Lux might produce, so there would be nothing for the goggles to amplify.

    Well, it's looking like this chapter will be wrapping up soon. I'm guessing Ark will probably be the last one to finish. I had originally planned another event to finish up this chapter, but it's kind of a large thing, and this chapter has a decent number of pages already, so I'll push that back to chapter 2 or 3.

    "Look Flux! Could it be them?" Flux raised his hands in a shrug. "Who knows?" he asked, giving a sly smile. "I suppose there's only one way to find out, though." He grabbed Ogre's heavy ball from his coat pocket. It appeared that he might need to call on the big guy sooner than expected. He walked next to Fria as they approached the lights.

    Garen nodded. With that said, he stood slowly, pushing open the flaps of the tent as he walked outside. Normally, he would have taken some time to talk to the others, but right now he was too frustrated. He looked up at the stars, standing a few yards away from the tent, thinking over everything up to this point, and what he could have done differently. It was unlike him to rely on technology like that, especially when it was as easy a task for him as navigation. All they had needed to do was stay north, and he had still managed to mess that up. He sighed, putting his hands into his pockets and watching the skies. ((He's open to conversation if somebody wanted to seek him out, but otherwise he'll probably just stand there for a while away from the tent before going anywhere else.))

    You crazy brah. Jk, jk. In all seriousness, Surge was very entertaining, and you did well to keep it up for that long. I think a part of me will miss him, but the rest of me welcomes Stratos back.

    Is Mortal Kombat any more complex now? I remember that I couldn't get back into the ps2 games after playing games with combo systems like Tekken or MvC. I really like a lot of the MK cast though, so I'd be interested if the gameplay's gotten deeper.

    Light will still work, but it's very "condensed" for lack of a better word. Basically, it does not light up nearly as big of an area in this darkness as you would expect. Even Lux could probably only light a foot or two ahead of him at a time.

    So I've been watching Akame ga Kill (Only on like episode 8 or 9 or 10 or something, no spoilers please... ) and I discovered over the course of a few episodes that Esdeath is one of my favorite characters. (And yes, I like her for her personality too, not just her "personality." ) It seems weird to me, considering that she's so cruel and all, but I guess I like to see a character like her stomp all over her attempts at love and be all awkward. She's a character that I both hate and love at the same time... On a somewhat related note, I've discovered that I'm a sucker for romance in most things, no matter how poorly executed it is. Hm.

    After Commander Stone had left, Garen turned to face Major Bane. "Major..." he began with a little hesitation. "...sorry. I should have relied on my own navigation skills rather than those of our suits. As a result of that failure, I cost us time and included us in a conflict that would not have been necessary otherwise." His eyes turned down to the floor. "Again, I apologize to both you and the team for the unnecessary risk."

    He made a post yesterday that's on page 19. I'm assuming he'll make another one in which he reaches the extraction point sometime soon.
