  1. You get Chandelure late game.
  2. The RP name will depend on the region, I guess, but that's just me.
  3. I guess I'll put my OC here. Name: Debronee Species and appearance: Bisharp, with a deformed right arm that has an extra blade on the elbow, and a scar on his right eye. Age: 30 Personality: Secretive, silent, aloof, aggressive, merciless, (indirectly) helpful and compassionate, likes to work alone. Background: Debronee (formerly a Pawniard) was born under two strong parents (and had a young sister) who were skilled fighters that taught him in the ways of battle and war. Debronee showed remarkable talent at a young age, and possessed a happy bond with his family. However, such happy times diminished as Cyrus' men abducted the family and tortured them with their experiments after the time-space shift (where Debronee had developed his deformed eye and scar), hoping to make them stronger genetically and using them to further process with his plans for the world. Debronee was the only one who survived; his parents and beloved younger sister were killed. Driven by incredible anger and spite, Debronee evolved in the midst of the cruel tortures and seeks revenge on the people who had murdered his family, vowing to annihilate anyone whose goal is to dominate the lives of others. Harboring intense hatred of evilly ambitious humans (especially Cyrus) and intolerant of bullying or other despicable acts of injustice, Debronee is notorious for hunting down bad Pokemon with his unmatched swordsmanship. Like his parents, Debronee fought for justice and justice alone. While Debronee may not seem like a good person to hang out with, in reality Debronee does not want anyone to suffer the same fate as he did-- under any cost. Debronee also believes that resentment is a source of his strength, deeming that "turning soft" would diminish it. Regardless, Debronee is indirectly very protective of his (unsurprisingly few) allies he has associated with.
  4. Welcome to the OC/Signup thread of "A Reborn Region Reborn". Basically, it's Reborn made by good old Amethyst, except we get to fiddle with the plot a little. I didn't see any rules regarding copying Reborn plots, correct me if I'm wrong, but my apologies if this is inappropriate. The RP will begin exactly the same as the plot of Reborn in the games; Team Meteor crashing the train the protagonists and Ame were in, and changes to the plot will commence from there. Permitted changes in the plot: Additional characters, obviously. You can be whoever you want, except for the few following things: an official gym leader (so if you want to be a gym leader, be a reserve, like Aya's place of Corey, correct my phrasing if I'm wrong), Team Meteor Leader, and the champion. All official leaders will be based off this thread, with the exception of Laura, Arclight and Bennett, replaced by Julia,Florinia and Shelly, whom have given official badges in the series. Since Laura has been mentioned to be an Elite Four member in the original plot, only 2-3 (correct me if other Elite Four members have been mentioned?) OC made Elite Four members can be made provided the majority of participants of the RP agree with it. There are four protagonists (which I won't be playing as). You are permitted to be a Meteor Admin/member, but not the leader, as (correct me if I'm wrong) TM is led by Lin. Pokemon that aren't in the obtainable list are permittable for use provided they aren't legendaries/psuedo-legendaries, with the exception of Metagross. OC's are required to try to use as much Pokemon and variety as possible instead of having the same powerful Pokemon on every team, so I hope I won't see people running two Greninja's as starters. In addition, protagonists are limited to access to some Pokemon until later in the series unlike OC's that appear later in the series. Combinations of Pokemon moves courtesy of creativity are applicable, but they should not be too overpowering and the combination should be convincing. (Don't try and combine Hydro Pump with Fire Blast unless you give a logical reason why they can combine together) Field effects are applicable in battles. Reborn official plot scenes (e.g the PULSE Tangrowth and VS ZEL scenes) can be modified slightly, but don't change the thing entirely. You get to pose as a non OC as well. OC/Non-OC deaths can occur, but give a suitable reason for their deaths. OC/Non-OC shippings are also permitted. Question me for changes that aren't mentioned on this list and I'll add them. When making an OC, use the following template: Real full Name: Commonly addressed as/Nickname: Age: Hometown (can be anywhere): Appearance: Personality: Ace Pokemon: Pokemon Team: Notable quote (s): Characters I require: Two main protagonists (Male and Female) Reserve leaders Meteor Admins Other characters can be added as well, but I hope to see a balance of protagonists and antagonists. I look forward to see what creativity the community can pull off!
  5. Are hybrids of classes available? Of course, one part of their class skills would be weaker than the original. A Bard/Templar for instance.
  6. Penguin master race. It hits the hardest naturally out of all the Starters.
  7. Run as much different-typed moves as possible on Greninja. Grass Knot/Hydro Pump/Night Slash(from Move Relearner)/Ice Beam (by breeding with Seel) would be the way to go. It is not possible to get ThunderPunch on Typhlosion. You can get Eruption via Move Relearner, Wild Charge from either Manectric (or get the move on a Smeargle), Extrasensory and a filler. Check your Hidden Power for Grass/Ice. Porygon-Z should run Shadow Ball on it. Overheat/HP Ice or Grass if you decide to get that Manectric. The rest of your team is looking fairly good.
  8. I get this for my birthday.....nice try Ame nice try
  9. Black coffee is the best.
  10. Unless I'm missing something, Pumpkaboo and Haunter should be Gourgeist and Gengar (that is named Corey) respectively. Back on topic, you need to worry more about Chandy's Shadow Ball the worst, as it's strongest Fire move is thankfully Flame Burst. Ghost is admittedly a really threatening offensive typing. Sturdy Donphan should work with Bulldoze lowering it's Speed, although it's funny how it outsped a +2 Speed Drifblim.
  11. No problems with Ralts on Pokesnax, just for reference.
  12. Well, it affects it slightly, and there's a mild degree of significance in the damage. Hasty/Naive would be the preferable nature if you want to retain Acrobatics, but Timid is also fine if you want to play pure special with Charge Beam.
  13. I'm doing mono Normal in HGSS, where I beat Team Rocket in Goldenrod and headed for Blackthorn:   Raticate Lvl 43 Furret     Lvl 20 Tauros   Lvl 39 Ambipom  Lvl 43   I'm figuring of catching a Fearow and breeding Close Combat on a Snubbull and future Teddiursa.
  14. Save Crobat for Clefable for that Cross Poison goodness. You'll want to keep it alive throughout the entire battle.
  15. So I've beaten PULSE Muk and I'm struggling at Apophyll and it's entire league of dangerous Fighting types. The only stuff I have know is a Level 45 Infernape (Thanks for Flare Blitz Ame ILY) that is perfectly EV Trained, with a Fist Plate, my Garbodor, my Shiny Klang, and my Drifblim. What else can I put in, preferably something other than Azumarrill or Gyarados (no offense) as I want a bit of a challenge. Thanks in advance. I'd also be very willing to breed movesets on things.
  16. Aw, bummer. Make the traded Ditto 31 IVs across if so pls
  17. Lanturn's pretty good if you don't want Ground types to wall you. Just my two cents.
  18. Thanks. Now I need to know where this 7th Street is....
  19. Also somebody tell me how to trade Shards into Ability Capsules?
  20. IV and EV Indicators made me super happy, but when I realized how terrible my Pokes were in terms of IVs I couldn't control my sadness. EDIT: OMG Flare Blitz is in ILY Ame
  21. People have problems with Rotom-W? That's just entirely odd.
  22. Shade was a piece of cake, way too easy with Drifblim sweeping everything with OP Unburden. What I didn't understand was how his Chandelure managed to outspeed me after Unburden, something that Gengar failed to do, on the first run, although a lucky boost with Ominous Wind easily gave me the match.. Gourgeist also looks waaaay too scary in this 0-0 Anyways, here's my team. Infernape Hasty Nature Iron Fist Scope Lens Level 40 Grass Knot Mach Punch Flame Wheel Close Combat Infernape hasn't changed too much, and the only thing he did in this battle was kill Golett with Grass Knot. Still waiting for move tutor Flare Blitz Ame ;-; Drifblim Mild Nature Unburden Oran Berry Level 40 Shadow Ball Charge Beam Ominous Wind Phantom Force The team's new MVP, he easily cleaned half of Shade's team like a knife through butter. Unburden is a really good ability to have. Garbodor Adamant Nature Aftermath Toxic Plate Level 37 Body Slam Acid Spray Toxic Spikes Sludge Bomb Mrs.Biggles is here! She's way more tanky, has much higher Attack but currently lacks the moves. Klink and Emolga haven't been touched, but I seriously need new Pokes to fit. What would be better; the Magma or the Aqua Gang? Gib some guidelines and thanks in advance.
  23. Personally, both Mega Blaziken and the normal Blaziken should be banned. 252+ Atk Mega Blaziken High Jump Kick vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Reshiram: 271-321 (67 - 79.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery 252+ Atk Life Orb Blaziken High Jump Kick vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Reshiram: 286-339 (70.7 - 83.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery Sure, Life Orb Blaziken hits harder. However, factor in how normal Blaziken needs Jolly to outrun things, especially Scarfed ones; Choice Scarf Terrakion for instance outspeeds a +2 Adamant Blaziken. Mega Blaziken's increased speed allows it to run Adamant without particular fear of being outsped so they pretty much have the same damage. Just my two cents. EDIT: Not to mention that Baton Pass is legal with Speed Boost now, so if you try to scare it out it'll just pass it to something else. Genesect obviously merits a ban, you don't know how frustrating it is to see it always get away with a kill, come back in and do it again, especially considering the Defog buff that settles the hazard issue slightly, and Fairies. Genesect was never meant to take a hit to begin with so the Steel resist nerf isn't a big deal.
