    Drug'thok shuddered as he reached into the heart of the earth with his magic, urging the foul stone and dirt to bend to his will. The evilness of the soil clouded the sorcerer's vision, and he lifted a hand to his head. You will heed the call of the Earth-shaker! he commanded the earth, demanding that it obey him so he could aid his embattled comrades from the far side of the bridge. The half-Orc strained himself, ultimately rewarded as he finally felt a shifting underneath his feet. "Terra umbra locoxe!" he shouted. Dark, warped-looking shards of stone began to rise from the earth. After approximately a dozen were lazily orbiting each hand, the sorcerer set his feet. "Terra umbra expulse!" he commanded the stone, urging the shards to fly out of his hands and into the path of the Stirge swarm as they circled back. The sorcerer addressed his comrades as the stones flew: "Hurry up and cross! This earth is filled with Darkness, and that is not a domain over which I have control!"

    Jory nodded at Lars and waved as the other trainer walked away. "Well, Sampson, I don't think you're gonna be able to fit in that truck with all of us. Mind going back in your ball?" he asked the Ponyta, holding the GAO's capsule out toward him. The equine GAO nodded at Jory, then snorted and pressed the button in the center with his muzzle. A light flashed, and then Sampson was gone. "You ready to go, Neffi?" he asked the smaller creature. She nodded to him and jumped down from his arms, running toward the truck. "Hey! I'm getting lunch first!" Jory shouted as he ran after Nefertiti, laughing as they made their way to the troop transport.

    Jory flinched as the loud "boom" from Clint's GAO falling echoed throughout the clearing. He looked over at the other cadets, then smiled down at Nefertiti. "You're not going to be shaking the earth, are ya, little one?" At this Nefertiti looked at Jory, then shook her head. The trainer was puzzled, but did not pursue it any further. He then turned his attention to Sampson. "You did a great job while that battle lasted, Sampson. Good work!" he said to the equine GAO. The Ponyta snorted happily and licked Jory's face. "O-okay then..." he stammered, wiping the spittle off his face as his two GAOs seemed to laugh at his expense.

    "MAKE IT STOP!" Alleria shouted as the wurm charged her. Roland sprang toward the mage, tackling her out of the way of the wurm. He stood and drew another two arrows, aiming and releasing them directly into the wurm's maw. The beast shrieked in pain again, beginning to coil its body. Roland fired another three arrows, one after the other, to no avail. Suddenly, the wurm uncoiled its body, swinging it at the group of adventurers. The ranger was caught off guard and the beast slammed him in the chest, sending him flying backward into the forest. He broke through a few tree limbs before crashing through the underbrush, rolling to a halt with his eyes closed and his body splayed out on the ground.

    Jory grinned at Lars as he walked up to Jory and apologized. "No worries, man. That was pretty cool!" he said, chuckling. He stroked Sampson's muzzle, earning him another snort from the equine GAO. The Ponyta reared his head at the compliment paid to him by Lars. Jory nodded in Sampson's direction. "Thanks. He's a prideful one." Jory then nodded in Response to Lars, moving aside so he could go speak to Oak. Then, Lars turned around and inquired about Nefertiti. Jory picked up the smaller GAO and smiled. "This is Nefertiti. I call her Neffi sometimes, but she's a real sweetheart. Oh, and Ray said she was called a Nidoran, but there was a female symbol next to her name." Jory paused. "Any particular reason?"

    Drug'thok shook his head. "If it's all the same to you, I would prefer not to use my magic here. This earth has been tainted by evil. Imagine biting into a bitter, sour, sick-smelling serving of food. That is similar to how using my magic at this place makes me feel. I would like to leave, and soon," the half-Orc said briskly, his complexion slightly more pale than usual. He approached the bridge. "But, I shall cross first. I am eager to be away from this evil place." With that, the sorcerer set off across the bridge, not waiting for a response from the rest of the group.

    Drug'thok nodded and cast a spell. He uttered, "Lumina," producing two motes of light from his hand. He threw them at the bridge. The two lights hovered on either side of the middle of the span, illuminating the bridge and revealing several missing boards. "Well, this seems like a lovely place for a picnic," he said quietly, a grin on his face. "Luckily, the modicum of knowledge I possess when it comes to Illusion magic allows me to conjure these orbs. I can't do much else with that," he continued, explaining his magic to the rest of the group. "For those of you who did not notice back in the town, most of my expertise lies in the domain of the earth."

    The wurm roared again, obviously irritated by Alleria's ineffectual spells. Its scales had been left blackened, but otherwise unharmed. The beast swung its body and head at Roland, who adroitly performed a gymnast's roll over the moving form. He nocked two arrows to his bow and fired them, connecting with the wurm's body but doing minimal, if any, damage to it. "It seemed like it was pain after I shot it in the mouth!" he shouted over to Alleria, glad to have help with this fight. "Where are Nash and the others?" he asked as the wurm let out another bellow. The armored creature then opened its mouth and spewed a stream of green liquid at Roland. He hit the deck, lying prone as the expectorant flew over him and hit a tree. After mere moments, a loud hissing noise came from behind the ranger. He turned, only to see the tree melting where the attack had hit. "Watch out for that!" Roland yelled, firing another arrow into the beast's mouth as it recovered from spewing the venom. The wurm roared in pain and disappeared back into the ground. A loud rumbling noise was heard in the clearing, indicating the wurm was still there but out of sight. "Careful..." Roland cautioned.

    I like it too. This is actually an opportune time to kill them off, as the wurm could just take care of them for us. EDIT: So I guess I just didn't realize that it was my turn to post. I still am a fan of the idea of killing off the inactives, though.

    McKyntyre grinned as he saw the hill approaching in the distance. Perfect, he thought to himself as he continued toward it. All these fools trying to harvest this place's power... They haven't the slightest inkling of the oncoming storm that awaits them. He laughed to himself, striding eagerly toward the stone archway. He stopped at the entrance, looking up toward the heavens and throwing his arms in the air. "Try to stop me now, God! You've never been able to before, and after this I'm coming straight for you!" The red-haired man laughed again, his wide eyes making him look more unhinged than the doors at Home Depot. With that, he rushed into the portal.

    Yeah, in this RP my Nidoqueen is going to be pretty powerful (obviously its best move is going to be Return since it and Jory [the character] have a really strong connection).

    Dude, Hydreigon should have been OU. The fact that it was EVER UU was ridiculous. I use it to great effect on Hyper Offense teams because it possesses a really powerful Draco Meteor and is really good a bluffing Choice Scarf sets (or actually running them).
